actually on the verge of tears thinking about how after calypso's birthday ed must have woken up wrapped in Stede's arms, all soft and warm and safe. He got to watch Stede sleep and listen to his breathing... and then eventually he must have decided he wanted to do something nice for Stede, to make Stede feel just as loved as he felt in that moment!!!! And im just thinking about him carefully untangling himself from Stede's arms and sneaking out of bed, careful not to wake Stede up and going to make him breakfast!!! Honestly, there's something about the sheer horror on Spock's face when he thinks he's killed Kirk in amok time that always hits me like a fucking truck.

Now, I know this discussion probably isn't anything new to the spirk community, but jesus christ. Every time I watch that scene, I go from "Oh my god this is so gay. How the hell did the writers and production team not look at shatner and nimoy rolling around in the sand together and go 'yeah seems totally heterosexual' " to "Oh my god. This is so fucking sad."

The pure horror and shock on Spock's face when he snaps out of the fever and realises what he's done (or what he thinks he's done) is so....AAAA

I can't even put into words how it makes me feel, it just makes me so not normal about the show and those two as a whole all over again.

i love the idea of a shorter gillion, a tall jay, and distinctly average height chip just as much as anyone else, but also

there’s something that hits different about a tall chip.

chip being 6 feet or taller, using that to his advantage when needed, taking up all the space in a room and drawing every eye towards him in flashy manners while his hands deftly maneuver to grab coinpurses and valuable jewelry.

him still being able to melt into the shadows, sliding up against a wall and disappearing like nothing. being one of the tallest men in the room but still carrying the timid stealth of a lost child. it’s something he could never let go of.

being one of if not the tallest on the ship but still having the heart of a small boy who just wants arlin back.

flaunting the height when he’s scared, using it like a shield.

it’s just cool. to think about the guy who’s entire personality is like a house of cards ready to fall apart at any second. and think about how he crumbles from great heights physically and metaphorically.

height means nothing, anyways, when you’re sprawled on the ground with your heart torn out.

jeremike domestic headcanons bc... i am just a sad little gay who can't stop thinking about his blorbos...

* michael loves cooking, especially for jeremy

* michael often has nightmares about what happened to his siblings - jeremy ALWAYS comforts him. usually by repeating "it's okay, you're okay." until michael has calmed down.

* michael sleeps on jeremy's chest very often because the sound of his heartbeat is calming to him.

* mike often traces his fingers along jeremy's scar from his Free Lobotomy(tm)

* jeremy is a big hugger. michael could just be standing somewhere (usually while he's cooking) and jeremy will just. hug him.

* jeremy's love language is physical touch and gifts while michael's is acts of service

* craft dates. FOR DAYS. jeremy is especially crafty and loves making things for michael (and mike displays/wears them proudly depending on what type of item it is)

*i feel like michael has the neatest hand writing known to man and this causes him to be "in charge" of the writing tasks (ie shopping lists)

* they recommend each other music, despite having completely different tastes.

* mike leaves handwritten notes for jeremy around the house (they're usually just silly things or "i love you's" )

* reassurance ? hell yes. both sides babeee! they just love each other a lot and care about their partner.

* they share clothes. like all the time. who needs separate closets when everything is free real estate .

* michael has Nosocomephobia (fear of hospitals) and he could not handle when jeremy was recovering from the bite of '87

* jeremy has emt training and always carries a first aid/safety kit whenever he goes. he also tries his best to help michael avoid hospitals (when possible) but if it's unavoidable, he goes with michael and holds his hand the entire time.

* michael suffers from anxiety and often fidgets with clothing sleeves or the nearest object to him (which is oftentimes jeremy's hands)

* jeremy loves cats. michael is slightly allergic. but he powers through it because he also loves cats. and he loves jeremy, obviously

There's something about Data's love for Sherlock Holmes that's so special to me.

The writers could've made him interested in something stereotypically tied to robotics or something like science or math, but they didn't. They gave him an interest in a detective book series from the 1800s.

I mean, sure, Sherlock Holmes is extremely popular and internationally loved (probably even still in the future), but the fact that they chose THIS SPECIFIC book series for Data to be interested in is something that is so so special to me.
