I think it would be really nice if the citizens of Hurricane were generally chill with Mike. Like at first they’re all freaking the hell out and hiding from him like at the end of Sister Location, but after a while, it’s just kind of a normal part of everyone’s life. Newcomers and tourists constantly ask about him, and the locals are just like: “yeah that’s just mike. He looks like a Halloween decoration and smells like death, but he’s chill. He’s always working at a Freddy Fazbears location or a haunted house and has attended every hurricane pride event since 1992. Some people think he’s that Afton boy who killed his brother back in ‘83, but no one really knows. He has Halloween decorations and Pride flags in his yard year round. Do not bother him or bombard him with questions. He is aware that he looks like that. Everyone is aware he looks like that. Don’t be an annoying cryptid hunter and let him exist. he won’t hurt you, but he’s clearly been through some shit and likes to keep to himself. Don’t question it. He’s Just Like That.”

Headcanons!

He definitely would be a trauma regressor and it would be involuntary/impure most of the time

He regresses to 4-8. Occasionally, if he's had a rough day, 1-3

He's either non verbal or will talk and rant for hours on end, no in between

His caregiver would most likely be Jeremy :] or his mom (I am coping)

He has a very negative view on his regression and tries to push it down and act like it doesn't exist, whether it be because he's embarrassed about it or he thinks it makes him look less "cool"

Continuing on that, he keeps his age regression very secret. The only people who would know about it are his siblings, his mom, and Jeremy, and maybe his friends if he ever warmed up to them about it, who knows!

Just like with his vocalization, it's either a 50/50 chance that he's just napping all day/cuddling or he's very active and bouncing off the walls

He would play with C.C. and Elizabeth. He's still a little prankster when he's small but he's nice enough to share toys and snacks with his siblings

The biggest little nerd ever. He would play video games or read vintage comics all day if he could. Jeremy loves to play with him, but would always set the levels on his games too easy for the lil squirt

-it gets ugly fast if you bring up a sensitive subject, he’s an extremely defensive person

-definitely just walks into another room and slams the door if he gets tired of arguing

-tries not to argue a lot, for your sake and his

-it takes him a while to directly apologize, but he will approach you again after storming out, trying to comfort you without upsetting you again

-if you continue to ignore him, he’ll either get even more upset that he hurt you or he’ll get angry all over again, possibly starting another fight

-he can’t really look you in the eyes when he apologizes verbally, not because he’s being insincere, but because he’s embarrassed that he let himself behave like his father

-if you fight before he has to go to work, he’ll crawl into bed with you the second he gets home, holding you and running his fingers through your hair, six hours is enough time for the guilt to set in and for him to realize what he did wrong

-he buys you flowers if the fight was really bad, it’s easier for him to apologize by doing something for you instead of actually saying sorry

His hair is the same color as William's. He wants to dye it, but he's not sure if it'll fall out or not, and he's not willing to take that chance.

ohhhhhh, get fucking ready buddy, this is gonna take a while (also be warned i will probably be incorporating aspects of my au that i need to post about more soooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

The lore around remnant is really weird and confusing, and Mike is an especially odd case because he is essentially possessing his own body rather than an animatronic or something inanimate. I think that it would be neat if his body would start repairing itself. his hair, nails, bones, and other parts made of cartilage would grow back first. Then bits of skin, then some organs. I think he would like that he could paint his nails and grow his hair out, and it would give him a sense of humanity that he thought he would never get back. There are downsides, however; the more major repairs, like organs, would take a really long time. They would start developing as if they were in utero, and would be very easily damaged. Damaging the new organs wouldnt cause him any permanent harm since he's already dead, but i imagine it would be really inconvenient and painful.

Building on the last point, Mike is constantly falling apart. The whole regeneration thing is a "one step forward, two steps back" kinda deal. his skin rips, his bones break, sometimes a whole chunk of his face or hand or leg will end up in the couch cushions, and God help the poor soul that finds his missing pieces.

Speaking of The Poor Souls That Find His Missing Pieces: Mike gets back in touch with his FNAF 4 friends after getting scooped. His friends are Jeremy, Fritz, and Gabriel; they are not the missing kids. William killed kids with the same names because they were involved in Evan's death. Mike rebuilds a really close bond with Jeremy and ends up moving into his apartment.

Mike lived with Henry in the direct aftermath of being scooped. He had practically passed out on henry's doorstep, as it was the only place he could think to go. Mike was out for several days after Ennard left his body, and was hardly able to move or speak after waking up. Henry was left with the responsibility of taking care of him during that time. Unfortunately, Henry is also very squeamish. Taking care of mike while he was asleep was bad enough, but once he wakes up and recovers a bit, he starts intentionally grossing Henry out. He also keeps finding body parts in the couch cushions and he screams every time he does.

Mike has a great sense of humor, especially after being scooped. His favorite thing is to point to where his stomach used to be and say "HEY! Look at my HOLE!" and then laugh at his own joke for like thirty minutes. He mostly does this to Henry, because of his previously mentioned squeamish-ness.

Mike has a love hate relationship with butter. he likes it on toast, but like... that damn butter basket. also he has defiantly tried both butter and toast flavored gum before (see: Gum post)

I have so many more hcs (a lot about his relationships with his parents and siblings, pre-scoop mike, post ffps mike, etc) and will probably add to this list, but here is a healthy portion (ok, more like a grandma sized portion) of my Raisin Man Thoughts

I genuinely think Michael wouldn't get into a relationship. His entire journey is him trying to take down his father. A murder/mad scientist who has kidnapped children and did experiments on them as well as his own children. Getting into a relationship would just mean getting more people hurt and losing more people he cared about. I mean, look at what happened to his brother. If he does fall for someone, somehow he'll push them away. He'll even reject you out right if you say you also have feelings for him. He just doesn't want people involved in his mess.
