LETS GOOOOO-- HERE'S THE MAIN CAST FOR THE MEANING VIVERE!

This is a story I've been working on writing lately!

It follows a recently deceased person being brought back by an angel out of pity. The only problem is that he suffered a lot of head trauma-- causing amnesia-- and the angel can't stop the decay process. To repay the angel for life, all they ask is two things: to live, and to work as an embalmer at the morgue the angel runs. Jonathan then has to figure out what the angel means by living, while also juggling a lost and torn sense of identity and a rotting body.

Here's also a little preview to how the first chapter is coming along:

With all the grace of a rusted gate, he began the process of standing from the stool. He stumbled when his leg snapped back into fluidity. His face met with a tile wall and gave it a fresh new paint job. His arms reached out to balance himself a second too late. By the time he pulled his face off the scarlet wall, his legs had loosened and he was standing upright.

DC OC | Morningstar Family Lore

Time to post about Morningstar family.

The Morningstar sisters are the daughters of Lucifer/Satan. They span across three different realms: Heaven, Hell, and Earth. Despite being vastly different and having three different mothers, the sisters love and care for each other very much. Their feelings towards their dad, however, depends on which one you ask.

First to the mothers of the daughters.

Bethesda - Mother of Uriel and Makayla Morningstar

Bethesda is the first wife of Lucifer Morningstar. They were married up until Lucifer fell from Heaven, leaving Bethesda no choice but to separate from him. Bethesda is a Seraphim, therefore holding a very coveted position among the other Angels.

Like other angels, Bethesda wields a flaming sword, but also uses a flaming spear as a secondary weapon.

Magdalena - Mother of Lilith and Jezebel Morningstar

Magdalena is Lucifer's second wife and the mother of Lilith and Jezebel. She is a Fallen Angel, previously being a lesser angel. She found a fallen Lucifer near death and took him back to her home to nurse him back to health. Eventually, they started a romance and ended up having two children.

The two ended up splitting after Lucifer became a Demon. Magdalena says it's because Fallen Angels don't mix with Demons.

Joanna Martin - Mother of Elyon, Azriel, and Myra Morningstar

Joanna Loreli Martin is the third wife of Lucifer Morningstar and the mother of Elyon, Azriel, and Myra. A quiet, book loving woman that somehow caught the attention of the literal Devil and ended up having three children with him, Joanna is quite remarkable in the sense that she has tamed the King of Hell. She preferred not to be Queen of Hell, instead returning back to her normal life as a saleswoman.

Now onto the daughters and their feelings towards their father

Uriel -> Her feelings about Lucifer are complicated. On one hand, that's her father and she loves him. But on the other, he brought shame upon both her, her sister, and her mother. She's caught between having empathy for him and resenting him.

Makayla -> Straight up resents him a bit for what he's done. How could he abandon his family in order to have more power? Not to mention all the whispers she had to endure during her training. Makayla could never look him in the eye after he fell.

Lilith -> Lilith is indifferent to Lucifer. She's glad he was there and all, but she more or less treats him as the "can you do me a favor" contact in her phone. The only time they really talked is when she wanted Lucifer to revive Eddie.

Jezebel -> Jezebel is the one who is recognized as the true heir to the throne by many of Hell's upper echelon. Because of this, she feels an immense pressure to live up to her father's legacy.

Elyon -> Elyon loves Lucifer like any daddy's girl does. The only complaint she has is that he should get the nobility to recognize that her and her sisters are also Lucifer's heirs.

Azriel and Myra -> Same as Elyon, only they're both spoiled by him. Lucifer has created two monsters and doesn't even know it yet. Myra sometimes treats him as a servant to boss around.

Voice references for my OC's:

Claire: Willa Holland (Aqua - Kingdom Hearts). Maybe a tad softer but it's pretty damn close.

Cypress: Jason Liebrecht (Yato - Noragami). Yato has a very unique voice imo. I can never quite hear it right in my head or remember it the right way so I'm always having to look it up. Cypress isn't as upbeat or energetic as Yato but I think when Yato starts in with the serious monologue stuff it sounds a lot like what I imagine to be Cypress's voice.

Uriel: Brandon Winckler (Eugeo - Sword Art Online). Ngl I based Uri's looks off Eugeo a little bit. Their clothes are pretty much the same style, just different colors- Uri's is white with gold trim whereas Eugeo's is blue with white trim. They were actually supposed to look much similar but in the end Uri took on a different sort of look and I'm okay with that. He's come a long way! :)

Silas: Jerry Jewell (Kusuo Saiki - Saiki K, Kyo Sohma - Fruits Basket). Honestly I'm convinced Silas is just Saiki Lite™️ but with blue eyes and white hair lol. They're so similar. Silas is a little less cynical though. Kyo's voice may fit a little better than Saiki's since it's softer and slightly higher pitched, but you get the idea.

Rowan: Micah Solusod (Mizuki - Kamisama Kiss, Yukine - Noragami)

Aska: Melanie Lynskey (Beatrice - Over the Garden Wall)

I don't have a voice reference for Muse since they're more of a self insert and I kind of just hear my own voice when they speak so...

Bonus:

Adult!Luke: Elijah Wood (Wirt - Over the Garden Wall). The reason I included AgedUp!Luke is because he grows up towards the end of my fic series and is an adult by the time my next gen OC's are running around doing stuff. It has nothing to do with shipping or anything, it's 100% from plot and character development.

Honestly I feel like Older!Luke and Wirt are kind of the same? Like I can see Luke having a slightly nervous or anxious demeanor, or he's always irritated and complaining about the brothers behavior, and some of the monologues Wirt has throughout the show feel like they could come straight out of Luke's mouth instead.

Like, this gives me TOTAL Luke (and Aska as Beatrice) vibes. This one reminds me of how he's always arguing with Mammon. And THIS one is a full minute and a half of Wirt being dramatic which, if you ask me, is exactly like Luke.

anon i value you so much I have thoughts on this

whiplash: freaks the fuck out like a startled cat. climbs on top of the shelves to get away from anyone in the store. the store has to be closed because this fucking thing is here dripping blood everywhere and hiding in the store until they can remove it and clean up.

swordsmachine: confused. looks around for an exit so he can figure out whats going on but on the way gets distracted and ends up just browsing through all the items in the store and accidentally knocking things off shelves. i imagine employees watching horrified as this big fuckass machine tries to figure out whats up with yogurt

v666: also confused but instead of getting distracted it just leaves the store. probably destroys stuff thats in the way instead of just walking around things.

ambrosia: "Erm..." walks around pretending to know whats going on. fascinated by the different aisles and products and asks anyone they may encounter "have you seen this? absolutely brilliant..." and it's just cake mix. brings a bunch of stuff to the registers to buy it but since they dont have any money they just leave it all there and go outside.

uriel: gets really mad kills everyone there and breaks through a wall

lucifer: is incredibly dramatic about it.. falls to the floor weeping in the deli aisle has to be consoled by an employee whom he proclaims his new best friend. she follows them around until the store closes and then follows them home. becomes infatuated with the singer of the music playing on the speakers in the store if they have that..

blue ferryman: stands there awkward and embarrassed. someone approaches her and she gets really scared and curls into a ball on the ground until they leave

insurrectionist & maurice: IMPROVISE ADAPT OVERCOME. they become accustomed to the supermarket until the insurrectionist is arrested for public indecency

if they were all there together it would be the same except they would start killing eachother.
