This is just a random supervillain OC I made for a superhero themed one shot, I call her Dr. Doppler. She has a gauntlet that lets her convert matter into light and control that light, and uses it to effectively have Mirror powers.

Radar is actually an acronym (radio detection and ranging) where radio waves are used to pass signals across the world at lightspeed. Some antennae have dishes around then which curve incoming waves to a focal point where the receiver can gather information. Larger the area the disk covers, the more signal can be received. The Doppler effect is used in radar to determine how fast something is traveling in a certain direction. Constant pulses are sent to an object which bounce back at different frequencies depending on how the object is moving. If the object is relatively approaching the receiver, there is a blue shift where the frequency gets shorter. Conversely, relatively moving away is called a red shift where the frequency gets longer.

Blipup (Normal): Blipups have excellent hearing but they need to move their ears and body around in order for them to hear in a direction. Many Blipups have been very friendly and they would help let others know if something is approaching from afar.

Cadar (Normal): The ears of a Cadar helps pick up the furthest sounds in the direction that they are facing. Cadars would sometimes get up higher with their back legs and spin around to detect any incoming danger.

I made an animation meme!

I used to make animation memes ALL the time back in like, 2015, they were my bread and butter. But I recently got back into it once I found a decent free program (capcut) and ended up doing a mass artfight attack with it.

Now, this one is just for me! Absolutely in love with this design ad while admittedly it was a pain drawing so many lines, I really enjoyed it. ^^

Chapter 23: Saying Goodbye (1)

They watched Amelia and Doppler approaching Jim and chatting with the teen. "The longboat should be downstairs. I don't know about ya pup, but I don't want ta go ta jail.", whispered the cyborg in his youngest's ear. Sam nodded and went down with Silver. The pirate untied the rope while talking to Morph. "Morphy, we gotta make tracks." Sam smiled when he heard the creaking of the stairs, knowing who would come down to them. "You guys never quit. Do you?", asked Jim and leaned on the wall. Silver jumped slightly and Sam shook his head, holding his laugher. "Ah, Jimbo! I-I was merely checking to make sure...", he paused and made a sloppy knot. "...our last longboat was safe and secure.", he smiled. Jim raised a brow and looked at Sam, then he went over to them and made a tight knot. "That should hold it, right Sam?" "Yep. Tight and safe.", nodded Sam with a smile. "Heh...I taught you too well, lads.", said Silver and scratched the back of his head before he looked at the 15 year old. "If you don't mind, we'd just as soon avoid prison. Little Morphy here...he's a free spirit.", explained the cyborg and trapped the shapeshifter with his hands. "Being in a cage, it'd break his heart. And don't get me started with the pup...you know what happened to him. Being trapped in a cell again...that would kill him." Sam looked at his friend who sighed, opened the shutter and loosened the longboat. "Ohh! What say you ship out with us lad? You, me and Sam, Hawkins and Silver...full of ourselves and no ties to anyone!" Sammy's ears went up when he realized that the cyborg referred to him as Silver too, that he basically gave him the same surname. Jim took Morph, who shape-shifted into a hat, off of his head and tickled him so he would turn back. "You know, when I got on this boat...", the teen started and looked down. "I would've taken you up on that offer in a second. But uh...I met this old cyborg and this teenager and they taught me that I could chart my own course.", he smiled and looked at Silver. "That's what I'm gonna do." The cyborg smiled and shared a happy look with his youngest pirate. "And what do you see of that pal of yours?" "A future.", answered Jim happy. The pirate captain sighed and chuckled. "Why...look at ya, glowing like a solar fire. You're something special, Jim. You're gonna rattle the star, you are.", he said, hugged the teenager and wiped a tear away when they let go of each other. "Got a bit of grease in this cyborg eye of mine.", laughed Silver a bit. "Hey. Don't forget about me buddy.", waved Sammy. Jim smiled and shook his head before he pulled his friend into a bear hug. "I will miss you Sam.", whispered Jim with a crack in his voice.
