Saw a number of people doing this and I think it's a great idea so I'm tossing my hat in the ring as well. Donation comms for Gaza! If you donate to Care for Gaza, fundsforgaza, or purchase esims, and send me proof, I will draw for you!
The examples above would be for any donation under $10/the cheapest eSIM, at $10+ I'll add another character or base colours, and at $15+ I'll do full body or add a character (either including base colour) 👍
My DM's are open everywhere and my discords capricioussuns, so if you'd like to donate and get a doodle, hmu
Here's a great resource list to learn more with lots of other options to donate and take action as well! And don't forget your daily click

Just saw a post about "indulging your inner child" and I don't want to respond to it directly because it's a positive message and the people in the notes are clearly having a good time, but something about it just threw me a bit?
Because the things they were describing as "indulging their inner child" were like... seeing a museum exhibit. Getting icecream. Riding a bike around the park. Those are not... child exclusive things? Those are completely normal things for an adult to want to do? I don't know any rational person who would think you're being childish for riding a bike or going to mcdonalds? Am I not getting something here, or has surveillance culture made yall so terrified of constant external judgement that you've classified completely normal activities as "indulgent" and "childish?"
The stuff in the notes was even worse. It was like "staying in my pajamas and watching TV on the weekend" and "having hobbies." Do yall think adults aren't supposed to watch tv in their pajamas?? For real???
Like it's good to indulge your inner child for sure! By like, playing tag or hide and seek! Finger painting and making bad craft art! Buying toys or stuffed animals! Not just... being an adult and daring to still want to do things outside your career or relationship? I'm just kind of baffled and disturbed by the idea of classifying these kind of normal activities as something you need to be "indulging your inner child" to do!
Indulging your inner child is about transgressing the normal boundaries of what is considered only appropriate for children to acknowledge we don't stop wanting those things as adults. It's not just... doing things that make you happy?
You don't need to justify wanting to eat ice cream or watch tv or ride a bike in the park. It's not indulgent. It's not childish. It is literally completely normal to want those things as an adult. Your parents and coworkers buy ice cream and watch tv in their underwear, I promise.

There’s a small voice in my head at all times going “can we please go back to the ocean now please please please lets go back to the ocean its cold and dark and quiet in the ocean please lets forget about taxes and jobs and get so compressed and adapted to the dark and cold that we cant come back lets go into the ocean back to the ocean please please please” and I am in tears every day from having to ignore it because I can’t hold my breath long enough for such adaption to occur

I've been debating for a long time on whether to orphan one of my stories. It was the first fic I ever wrote and it's garbage. No beating around the bush, lmao it's not good. I tried justifying orphaning the story because if not, people will see how horrible my writing used to be. But at the same time it shows just how far I have come and will continue to go when it comes to writing.
I've gone back and forth with myself on it and couldn't decide either way. But today I received a message on Instagram asking if they could podfic that story. They told me it was one of their favorite stories and when I tell you that I had a shocked Pikachu face.
Never in my wildest dreams would I think that that story could be someone's favorite. I disliked it so much that I made myself think that my opinion was the only right one. That surely, other people had to hate it too.
I was being my own enemy for no damn reason. I still don't like the story, and I still cringe when I think about it, but I melt inside every time I reread the podfic request message.
I think that this was a reminder that even if it's not verbalized, someone out there likes your story even if you don't. There's someone bookmarking it as I write this. There is someone grinning at their phone, loving every minute that they are wrapped up in the world that you created.
Someone loves the way you write, and the stories you create, you just might not know it yet.

This is super dumb….
Ok, so Danny is half-dead. There are a number of different theories but Danny is either killed and revived by electricity, ectoplasm, subatomic particles, or all three.
Now death stinks, figuratively and literally. But also In lore and science, all of these things have a smell. A detectable scent.
Imagine that affecting Danny’s living side. All the scents are just baked in. No matter what he does, he cannot get the scent of his death off of him.
I kinda imagine it leads to embarrassing situations as well as some emotional revelations.

in a setting where all gods are real. What if the day they announce their presence they also announce their 2-week ultimatum for the British Museum to GIVE THEM BACK THEIR STUFF before they COMPLETELY DESTROY THAT BUILDING. Skip forward to the aftermath of the attack and its CHOAS. No-one is hurt bc no-one was there but there’s goo EVERYWHERE there’s FREAKY TENTACLES COMING FROM THE CRACKS IN THE STONE there’s random scraggly assorted goblins / imps etc. carrying off sacred statues back to their respective gods. If you squint you can faintly see the overwhelming forms of beings setting an invisible dragon loose and cackling. Everything is on fire and everyone is having SO much fun. It’s great

There should be a website called Fund My Autism where it’s basically a GoFundMe x Amazon Wishlist where you put up what you want to buy and then people will donate to fund that and I think this will work because I will feel bad buying something for myself but buying something for someone else is perfectly reasonable
