i have a counter argument to the 'only one person can boop bill' thing, mabel. she's the type of person to slap stickers on people, she would definitely be the type to also boop others occasionally and bill would be no exception. she probably doesn't do it to annoy bill like dipper would, but maybe as a form of a friendly gesture, kind of like those people who will lightly punch friends in the arm when they hang out.
You know what? Good point. Mabel would get away with more than most, as a fun-loving lady! Bill understands those impulses, and being a touchy person! He indulges in similar ones himself.
Though when Bill's not in the mood to be playful and gets booped anyway? The 'sister-in-law' status grants her considerable grace.

oh my god bernard gets batman and dick to help save tim in the last issue and everyone in the family takes that to mean that bear knows about their night jobs. except tim still thinks bear doesn't know. that bear being there was just a coincidence. he just tagged along to save him cause bear is such a standup guy! cue tim doing everything to hide his identity and the family looking at him like he's lost his mind because obviously bernard know tim?? he literally patches you up every night???? why would he not know??????

sue me idc but i think that Jason and Tim would both like things that are considered "childish" typically, i.e. Legos or dinosaurs or stuffed rabbits random stuff like that and they would both try and hide the fact until one of em found out, in my brain it goes like this:
Jason is rearranging his room and has a box of action figures n Legos set out and Tim comes in while he's cleaning and sees the box and Jason starts to get defensive but then Tim just grabs his arm and leads him to his room where he has a similar bin filled w various stuffed toys n Legos and colored pencils. they bond over this shared trait, building new Lego sets together or on some occasions playing with action figures of themselves. they both have this trait for different reasons tho -
For Jason, his parents couldn't afford toys or wouldn't buy them for him and wnv his mom tried to get him a toy his dad always ended up breaking it or it wouldn't even be a toy in the first place it'd just be some trash, and then when he became homeless he just couldn't afford toys/didn't want to seem "weak".
For Tim tho, his parents wanted him to succeed and they thought having "childish interests" like drawing or playing with Legos would hinder his maturity and so he never got to experience those various joys after the age of like, 6
So for both of them, moving to the manor and having some amount of wealth gave them the opportunity to relive parts of their childhood that they were never allowed to experience fully.
This isn't to say that none of the other batkids would play w Legos or have stuffed animals, just that i think Jason and Tim would feel like they had to hide it moreso than others.

ya’ll really cannot separate lance from his father and i mean that on like the SIMPLEST level: aka treating him like a human who has feelings
and ya’ll wonder why athletes have such high stats when it comes to mental health issues like jfc

wait the guy with the white and red hair is related to the guy with the purple-grey stitched skin???? idk anything about bnha
yeah it was actually kinda awesome because people have been theorizing abt them being siblings as far back as 2017. the reveal was still awesome tho.
the rundown of the story is that their dad was an abusive pos that was trying to get a designer baby with a really unique superpower. its actually a really complicated and realistic story about abuse in general- at first we only get white and red’s side of the story that made it seem like his dad was abusive and obsessed his entire life.
then we see dad be a good hero and even attempt to be a decent dad.
then we get stitched-skin’s side of the story and its revealed that the dad kind of more or less went insane because the kid’s superpower *burned him badly* when he used it, which made him go about in a very… emotionally inconsiderate way of discouraging him.
its a really good story. it paints everyone involved in different shades of grey, because that is what situations like this in real life are- complicated. not black and white.

am i going to see the new hunger games movie? yes. am i still mad that suzanne collins created this incredible dystopian universe that she could've done anything w but decided to write a prequel about the main villain as a kid(???) possibly giving an excuse as to why he's a nasty piece of work? also yes.

the thing with tamlin and his defenders to me is like. ok let's blame his abuse to his trauma. to his angry issues that somehow are not his fault. sure, let's blame feyre and rhysand and even lulu, whatever. let's give him all the flowers for his "help" that he has to do because is basic fucking decency like alright...
But you guys thirsting for him? Actually horny for this man? Making hot art of this basic ass white board of specimen manchild?
is one of the biggest proofs to me that this fanbase is not only painfully white but also? some of yall would rather date the worst man ever instead of liking any women in a book at all as long as a. He's white and muscular but slim which make him hot immediately and b. manipulating and abusing is cute as long as the victim is a woman
Got it, thank you SJM fandom <3
