the music was blaring loudly in the bar and different colored lights were being flashed. you were going around the bar, greeting all your friends and meeting people they brought to the party with them. behind you was hamzah, you had his hand in yours as you walked around and you would squeeze his hand to see if he was doing alright.

you two were together almost the whole night, stuck to each other like you were attached by the hip.

until your mutual friends arrived and split you guys apart. he was occupied by them all night while you were hosting the party and catching up with your friends.

at some point, you were looking around the bar for him, feeling incomplete without hin by your side and suddenly, you bump into him.

"oh my god hi," you said, a soft blush rising to your cheeks.

he was about to speak when another one of your friends called out for you and pulled you away from him. you mouth sorry to him and he just smiles at you.

the whole night, hamzah was on your mind. he was on your mind when you did shots with your friends, when another boy flirted with you, when you danced, anything. when hamzah saw you on the dance floor with another guy, he felt himself tense up, avoiding you the rest of the night.

it had felt weird. you two were just friends right?

as the night was slowly coming to an end, whenever your friends bid goodbye, you insisted on coming with them outside until they got into their ride.

when the bar was empty, you made your way towards hamzah who was sitting on one of the stools with a drink in his hand. you took a seat beside him. he was quiet and you were too though he could see you from his peripheral vision.

your head was in your hands, hamzah calling for the bartender you had hired and asked for water.

he taps your shoulder and your head shoots up slowly, he opens the bottle then hands it to you with a small smile. you feel your stomach doing backflips before smiling at him and taking the bottle.

"thanks," you tell him, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

"wanna go now? i'll drive," he tells you but you shook your head.

you got off your stool, pulling it closer to his before sitting on it again. you place your head on his shoulder and a hand on top of his. "let's just stay here for a while."

hamzah felt nervous, biting his lip to hide his smile but fails. he was glad you couldn't see him. then right after, he wraps and arm around your waist, hand fiddling where your top ended.

you had fallen asleep in hamzah's arms after a while then he drove you both back to the air bnb, him wiping your makeup off before letting you get changed into your sleeping clothes.

"night hamzah, you're the best." you said softly as he tucked you in your bed.

"good night."

☆ Ellie Williams is quite the challenge, with her constant sarcasm in every social interaction. Often, her barely perceptible smile leaves others wondering if she's joking or being serious. She lives with a furrowed brow and rolling eyes at the orders she receives.

She always has something to say, with sarcastic and questionable comments that make it difficult to understand her true intentions.

Dina, at first, found Ellie's attitude exasperating, but she has grown accustomed to it over time. She simply laughs at every one of Ellie's comments, just like Jesse, who plays along by hitting her shoulder while shaking his head.

☆ In romantic situations, however, Williams finds herself at a loss.

She's clueless when it comes to romance! She can't even tell when a girl is trying to flirt with her, even if it's blatantly obvious. She just shrugs it off, deciding that the girl was just being friendly.

Even worse, her confident sarcasm falters in the presence of a cute girl. She can't maintain eye contact and finds herself looking at the ground, playing with her fingers.

☆ Ellie is the least dominant girl! When she started feeling something for Abigail, she decided to keep quiet, harboring her own fantasies until Anderson jokingly admitted she was in love with her, giving Ellie the confidence to move forward.

☆ And the arguments are interrupted when Abs grabs Ellie's wrist, asking her to sit down and stop arguing over trivial matters. This causes Ellie to simply sigh and sit down beside her with her arms crossed.

"But..." Ellie wants to continue, seeking to be right about some nonsense against someone.

"It's not worth it, Williams," Abby interrupts quickly, wrapping her arm around Ellie's waist, making her sit on her lap.

Ellie's complicated and difficult demeanor can disappear with just a stern look from Abigail, indicating that enough is enough. It often ends with Ellie seeking Abby, holding her hand, and glaring at everyone, but then softening her gaze when Abby places her hand on her shoulder.

☆ However, even though Abby is patient, sometimes she can't tolerate Ellie's attitude, and it's inevitable for her to get annoyed with her from time to time.

"I'm talking to you, you know?" Abigail asks, grabbing Ellie's jaw with her hand and turning her towards her so they can look at each other. "You're ignoring me on purpose."

"I don't know, am I?" Ellie responds with a question, shrugging and a smirk on her lips that only provokes more annoyance in Abby.

"God, you're insufferable..." Abby mutters through gritted teeth, quickly bringing Ellie's face even closer to hers to kiss her.

☆ Abigail wastes no time complaining about Ellie's foul language, letting out a sigh every time an unnecessary swear word slips from her lips. But she knows it's impossible to correct, so she settles for Ellie acknowledging it on her own.

☆ Despite their differences and occasional clashes, their dynamic is ultimately one of mutual respect and pure love, with Ellie keeping Abby on her toes with her antics and Abby keeping Ellie in check

There is a car

It is morning, and I wake up thirty minutes late. 

My husband has already left home. No note or text explains, but I understand.

I wake the kids. As they get ready, I make their lunches. My son gets leftovers from last night’s takeout, my daughter gets an egg sandwich and macaroni salad. They both get a small brownie.

When the kids are done, I rush them out the house and straight to the car.

As I pull out of the driveway, I notice a car parked by the curb. I’ve never seen it before. It’s painted a dark blue, and none of my neighbours own it. 

I drive down the lane, and give the car no mind. I need to drop my kids off at school.

It’s there when I come back.

At night, after dinner I stay awake. My husband has already fallen asleep. He has spoken four sentences to me. I look out the window, gazing out at the moon.

The car is still there, illuminated in the light of the full moon.

I gaze at my nieghbour’s driveway. It is empty save for one car.

I stare at the car. I don’t know its make, nor its model.

I go back to bed and fall asleep hours later.

 I wake up late. Again.

This time, my husband shakes me awake. I make him breakfast. 

The kids are harder to wrangle today, my daughter having had a nightmare last night. I shush her, and bundle them into the car.

I don’t pay much attention to the car parked by the curb.

This night I sleep as soon as I hit the bed.

I dream of large vast places. Places without people. Places where I feel home. Places I feel welcome.

The car is still there that morning. I ask my husband if he’s seen anyone enter or exit it. If he saw it arrive or leave at any point.

“It’s just strange, I guess.” I say. 

He gives me a look and a shrug. I don’t bring it up again.

Both the kids are sick today. I make the necessary calls, give them the necessary medicine, and make the necessary meals. 

I am about to ask my son if he knows where the thermostat is, when I realize I don’t remember his name. I don’t check their temperatures after that. 

I leave the house later, needing to get groceries.

The car is still there.

I don’t sleep at all that night. I tell myself it is because I worry for my children.

I spend the whole night looking at the car.

I wonder if it is locked.

It is 4 am when I decide to check if it is.

I walk out the house. The full moon is out and bathes the car in white light.

It looks almost inviting.

My bare feet feel the grass beneath me. It’s wet. I almost slip, nearly bashing my head across the sidewalk.

The Car doesn’t let me.

I open the door.

I step into it.

I sit down.

I leave.

They welcome me.

#sanzuz has gone through a couple of revisions i actually haven't posted anywhere! he's trans now and much more lankier skinny-ripped #than the bulky strong ripped i drew him as before #he lives in a swamp with his massive two headed crocodile lusus because it's one of the few enviorment on alternia #that the drones have trouble with regularly sweeping without decimating the entire swamp (too much foilage and large agressive lussii #plus barely traversible if not flying because thems waters soooooo dangerous) #so he lives in butt fuck nowhere the swamp with his dad who ate his arm on accident trying to protect him from trolls trying to cull him for #his mutation (he's a lime with gills) #but all's forgiven cause they're mutually protecting each other and he loves his dad #he utilizes his lime calming powers on highbloods who occasionally try and hunt the rare lusii that live in the swamp #(eg; a giant two headed crocodile) #and uh. eats them. he eats other trolls that wander into the swamp but ESPECIALLY shitty highbloods who are hunting #he's got an underdeveloped hunter / poacher blue blooded kismesis #so! he's got some issues and rage that would make him comparable to the class he oh so loathes but he eats a looot of sopor slime so he's #pretty chill :) #but of a gamzee-oid. oopsie. #i lost my train of thought but if you want to know more abt him feel free to dm / send an ask to my main #i looveeeee love love talking about my ocs

made two batches of my chocolate chip banana muffins today cause my leftover bananas from work were starting to look a little scary and i didn't want them to go to waste which seemed like a good idea at the time but now i have So Many Muffins.

#mutuals come to my house and take some of these muffins off my hands pls #honestly it's not a big deal tho i'm gonna bring one of the batches into work tomorrow for my coworkers #and then the other batch is in the fridge so they stay fresh a lil longer #i was GONNA give my roommate one cause she loves my muffins (i gave her some once cause she gave me some old bananas) #but then i was like ''yeah sorry i'm making the kitchen so hot i've had the oven on for like two hours'' #and she was like oh idc i think it feels nice! and said she likes it really warm (which like ya ik. u keep turning the heat to 75) #so i was like oh not me haha i was really built for upstate new york! i'm gr8 in the cold but being too warm makes me super uncomfortable! #and this fucking girl #goes ''oh you probably have some kind of temperature imbalance if you think it's hot all the time.'' #''my mom's like that cause she's in menopause.'' #GIRL. thinking that 75 degrees is too hot or that a kitchen where you've been baking for 2hrs is pretty warm ISNT HAVING A HOT FLASH #anyway that's why she doesn't get a muffin now. you talk shit you get no baked goods <3 #dani.txt
