Whenever someone says they’re sooo happy that a female character is “strong and still feminine” as if that was something that was so unheard of it pisses me off lmao WHERE exactly are you seeing strong masculine women in media? Where are the tall buff masculine women you’re implying is the standard? The only character I can think of that fits that description and isn’t absurdly stereotyped is Vi from Arcane. That’s IT.

There’s barely any short haired women in media already and the ones that exist are basically all feminine in all other aspects. The more ““masculine”” characters are put either into the category of the man hating lesbian or the not-like-other-girls girl who gets a makeover at the end.

Literally the price female characters pay for having any kind of strength is to be feminine and palatable to the men watching… that’s literally what they did to Leia when they put her into that horrendous sex slave fantasy outfit. That’s what they did to Black Widow. And even with less obviously sexualized characters, specially in superhero themed media, they’re always the beauty standard. And even then they get hate lmao…

Even if a female character is the prettiest woman in the world, the moment she does anything actually human and actually strong that men would love to see in male characters, they get hate. So how in hell do y’all think an actually maculine female character would survive in that environment lmao

Feminine characters are hated for doing things associated with women, but they still fit the physical standard expected of them. Masculine characters are hated for not being hot to men, for not conforming to the body standard, for not wearing make up, for not wearing tight/revealing clothing… for not being women the right way.

I don’t care if you like being feminine and you like to see yourself represented. Do whatever you want and be happy about it. But don’t go around acting like feminine women are the least represented type of woman of all.

In one of the episodes, Jun mentioned that she wanted to pierce her ears twice. in your version she has already done this?

oh dude you either have memory of a steel trap or someone had a good rewatch recently! But, wow, tbh I do not remember this and in HoM AU designs I only delibarately added earrings/piercings to Kim and Jake to sort of break their design more from their og looks (especially Kim lol, I barely changed her anything xD) but also for practical in-verse reasons. I didnt even think about Jun or anyone else... but you know? I like it, so now she does!

AND now she got 7 of them!!! Some are just simple hoops or studs, but others are magical gem stones for emergencies (small spells and protections), and she can just swap them out when needed.

After you mentioned it, I wonder why out of all characters Jun is like almost the only one without piercings of any sorts? I mean even Lila got a fang earring and she has been human-shaped for like less than a year?? Which led me to a headcanon:

What if Jun's invulnerability is so strong she couldn't even get piercings in a normal human way? So, going with her Mom or her friends to get her ears pierced in a mall was out of the question. She and Jasmine had to enchant a needle/make a spell (or maybe just visit a monster beauty salon), just for her to do it and after they just show up to her parents like: "Oh look Barbara, Michael, I took Jun to pierce her ears, doesn't she look wonderful?'

And later Jun just took the needle/spell to covertly make more piercings with her friends, which Ophelia was more than happy to do. The other three she got a bit later over the years. ;D

They'd meet the Light Fury while on the run (who is Furious's right hand and is trying to kill them, mind you), and Grimmel would be one of the bounty hunters tracking down Minicup through Big Toothless. Unfortunate side effects of traveling with a night fury!

How i envisioned Danny's ghost form/Phantom in my Danyal Al Ghul au (images at bottom of post). His ghost form has some pr heavy influence from the League, because I thought it'd be neat + to kinda show how even after four years, the League still had some kind of impact on who is he as a person. Plus some milder Robin influence in his boots and the cape (which i meant to be split down the middle to have some kind of 'bird wing' silhouette) as a way to indicate his lingering desire to meet his dad.

The pauldron lookin-thing on his upper chest is based off certain Danny Phantom designs I see that give him that white,,, marking,,, thing. I've been calling it the Jedi Chestplate because it reminds me of the clone wars Jedi armor. So like, slight homage to his hazmat suit.
