A present for the lovely @spamac back in November. Since we're going to meet again soon, it felt right to finally post this here. I got way into drawing the instruments that for a second I didn't think of the dramatic lighting and thus... shadows.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion, anon <3 You and I perhaps share the same brain cell on this one because my next planned piece IS Storm Chasers! The other idea is Cad and Vax, tho I'm not settled on that one yet. I'm also trying desperately not to put Chetney and Molly in one piece because it would be too obvious, lol, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, I guess.

I realized recently that this blog had its 5th birthday back in August. So this is sort of a celebratory redraw of maybe the first drawing I posted, aptly titled: Naruto's harem. It exists in an alternative universe in my brain where Neji is alive and thriving and is being an awesome uncle to Naruto and Hinata's kids; Shikamaru/Temari are nomadic diplomats neither of which have to give up their homeland nor their day jobs for the other; and Sasuke is still a wandering deep-state agent, presumably (can you tell I haven't read the sequel?); and they all help run the village behind the scene.

Now have I improved? The more I draw the more I realize how limited my abilities are, but it's fun nonetheless to create and share the worms in my head <3 Thank you all for looking at my stuff and liking/reblogging and yelling about them in the tags/comments and decided that I'm worth following; I do see them all and appreciate all of them so much. I'm just not good with words <33333

May I ask who is on the right in almost the back row of the David picture? I think that row is Saddler and then David's parents, but I can't guess who the fourth person is.

Hi, that would be Erek King! The back row before the Yeerks are supposed to be the supporting characters featured in the trilogy, so yes, that was Saddler and David's parents and then Erek. I was waffling about how to make it obviously him, but it didn't work out visually so I sort of gave up, lol. Thank you for asking <3
