Gonna say the bad things first.

Loved the beggining all the way to the 'support' group scene where Dracula kills them.

But everything after that? well- I don't get how they could make a mafia boring. Like dont get me wrong but they started so strong introducing the key players but it felt as if there was a moment that all three characters, the mafia, protagonists and dracula just floated or disapeared for a moment then came back in the climax.

Other than that tho-

Good does this movie have me in a chockhold, it was funny right amount of gorey that I could sit through AND it was a vampire movie.

I am a SLUT for vampire movies also I've noticed that they loved to use blue and orange lighting? I mean the fact that it happened twice-

Oh and remaking the old Classic dracula and inserting nick cage in those scenes? They were a delight to watch.

Also the queer subtext in the movie I mean they didn't have to add it but they did. I see it this way [others can disagree] but on one hand seeing dracula actual crying when he was betrayed and called him his Servant! And when you see the support group being a part of the church. In my mind I was thinking huh you could see this as some sort of faux positive conversion therapy. Like everyone is smily colourful and happy while going "Being gay is a sin!"

But even so given that is was about narcissism even tho I ship it and plan to overindulge on fanfictions I do love that that narrative is that no matter what you've done it doesn't mean you dont deserve to be loved and should withstand abuse.

Thats why I always thought harley quinn was such an important role model and why you need to see her in a relationship with the joker and to see it being lovey dovey and a good couple as well as seeing the bad to undertsant how people go in those relationships in the first place. And most victims BELIEVE they deserve it in some way or that its their fault.

So overall really love the film, And even though there were parts that were meh [I'll blame the medium that its a parody and just ignore it] there were defiently some moments that more than made up for it.

My Favourite LGBTQIA+ Characters

It's Pride Month! I scheduled 2 posts ahead of time (Yes, I'm that bored. No mobile, no laptop, and mediocre books, so I have nothing better to do.) and now I realised it's Pride Month :P. Anyways, I could go into the history of Pride month and stuff, but you could read that anywhere, but you can't read about my opinions anywhere else, so this is what you get.

What better bi representation than a psychopatic-psychiatrist-who-fell-in-love-with-the-Joker-and-became-his-sidekick-and-stuck-in-an-abusive-relationship-then-broke-up-and-found-another-woman-who-has-even-less-regard-for-human-life? Harley Quinn has been a fan favourite ever since her appearance in Batman: The Animated Series and became probably more loved than Superman and possibly Batman too. The Harley Quinn series is a morbidly hilarious series and I love their relationship in it. Kinda sad that she didn't really have a WLW relationship in the DCEU though. Actually, is there even a Poison Ivy? I think her last appearance was in Batman & Robin and wouldn't we all wanna forget that movie ever existed. Harley and Ivy had ties even in BTAS but it wasn't much explored. In the comics, they were also part of the Gotham City Sirens along with Catwoman. The romance only continued to blossom since then, and they've even wed in the Injustice (fighting video game series, in short, Superman becomes a dictator after Lois and his unborn child dies and Batman works to stop him) universe.

I love this art so much.

YumiHisu is the ship of Ymir and Krista Lenz from Attack On Titan. I don't want to spoil much, but this is the closest thing to a couple Attack On Titan has, and I love it for it. I hate romance in most stories, so I really love that Attack On Titan has so little of it, and the one they do is a really cute one. Ymir and Krista aren't really a focus, but their interactions we do see are very cute, and their story in S2 was awesome.

Yeah we're back to DC again. A lot of these are going to be DC :P. What can I do? DC has a lot of great representation.

Tim Drake is the 3rd Robin, as I've probably burnt into your memory by now. I didn't really care about him for a long time, because he's surrounded by so many Robins who are all so memorable. I mean, he's competing with Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Damian Wayne, so :P. Although after reading more I've come to like him. He's the biggest nerd, his origin story is him figuring out Batman's identity, and he has a great sense of humor. He's not the usual Uber smart character who forgot to invest in the charisma skill. He also canonically has( had? DC's timeline is a mess) a low self esteem, which is why he was never Robin in the New 52 Universe, so I can relate :P. He has dated Stephanie Brown, the 4th Robin and Spoiler and Batgirl and it has been hinted that he had something going on with Conner Kent, Superboy. It was made official in Batman: Urban Legends where Tim agrees to go on a date with a guy he rescued.

Tim comes out to Batman.

I sadly haven't reached that part yet because I'm still at 2018 :P but I've read the Pride one-off comic, and wanna see more of it. Jonathan Kent, Superman's son, also Superman, is also bi, and has a cute boyfriend. I don't care much for Superman so I guess I'll be skipping that tho :P.

Batwoman, Kate Kane was one of the highest-profile LGBTQIA+ comic book superhero. I, regrettably, haven't read much of her, I think I've only seen her in Detective Comics (2016) and Grant Morrison's Dick Grayson Batman run. Although, her character arc in Detective Comics was pretty cool, so I hope to someday remedy that.

Alysia Yeoh, while a pretty minor character, as a trans person, I love Gail Simone so much for her character. Alysia is Barbara Gordon's (Batgirl) roommate in the New 52 run of Batgirl and was such a badass character. She's a professional activist, and she's also the first trans character in comics to get married.

Literally the only one of two couples I cared about in Riordanverse. Percabeth is bleugh, even the ship name is bleugh, and Jasper is, well, they ended up breaking up, sooo, need I say more? Sadie and Anubis and Walt seems like a polyamorous relationship? That one is interesting, at the very least. Magnus Chase and Alex is also meh, I love Alex, but the relationship I couldn't care less for. Let's also talk about Alex. Alex is the first genderfluid character and oh do I love them. They're badass and I love their humor so much. Solangelo is such a cute couple and I love that a sun of Apollo is dating a sun of Hades. I just finished reading Sun and The Star today and I loved it so much. They're just perfect for each other. Nico has always been such an intriguing character, and Will's contrasting personality is fun.

Rosa Diaz and Captain Raymond Holt

Bi and gay characters from Brooklyn 99. Rosa was initially shown dating just men, but later comes out as bi and has a whole arc with her parents. Holt has always been gay is also married, and they break up and get married again. I love Rosa's badass character and deadpan humor and basically her whole personality. Holt conforms to 0 gay stereotype. He's not flamboyant at all and not very effeminate. He's deadpan, hates humor, and takes no crap.

Damn I genuinely think the reason why DC studios is having a beautiful portrayal of Harley Quinn’s bisexuality and sapphicism on screen (omg a bi actress playing a bi girl, and we get to see Gaga as Harley kiss a woman??) but like. At the denial of Margot’s Harley ever getting a big moment with a girl on screen, despite Margot Robbie vouching and fighting Warner Brother for a live action Harlivy is that like. Gaga’s Harley is “darker” than Margot’s Harley.

Like I’m so glad we’re getting bi and queer content for Gaga’s Harley at all, but the fact that Margot has wanted this for yearrrrs with nothing beyond a Harlivy cartoon cameo in Birds of Prey is like. Ouch! Why can’t we have our cake and eat it too? How come Gaga’s Harley got to be more visibly bi while Margot’s was merely an Easter egg? Why couldn’t we have both of them have excellent bi rep?

I think that Margot’s Harley is seen as more “cutesy” than Gaga’s. I mean

They’re both perfect (even tho Margot’s Harley is my favourite hehe, I can admit they’re literally both such a good fit) but like Harley’s is more “spunky and glittery” and Gaga’s is more “will stab as a warning”.

Like Gaga’s is meant to be more “darker and taboo” and Warner Brothers clearly sees bisexuality as something dark and taboo instead of just like, ppl harmlessly existing. So I legit believe that they let Gaga have more bisexuality and queerness bc they didn’t want to “taint” the “cutesy” Margot Harley :(

Yes that is a good point too. What I thought was that they are persistent showing Harley in that abusive relationship where she is too focused on joker instead of herself. It's like they don't want to let go of the Harley who exists for joker. Even when they give us Harley which is free of joker, they seem to take it away quickly? BEST TV OF 2022 PART 3

I watched quite a few films on Netflix. My favourites were: The White Tiger, Do Revenge, Werewolves Within, Wendell + Wild, Glass Onion, The School for Good & Evil, The Curse of Bridge Hollow, The Bubble, Don’t Look Up, Metal Lords (altho’ Skullflower never fails to make me laugh), Manc, Enola Holmes 2 and The Trial of the Chicago Seven. I really didn’t like Blonde tho’ – I thought it did a huge disservice to Marilyn Monroe by only showing her victimhood.

  I watch a lot of detective/crime dramas. 2022 saw the return of some of my favourites – McDonald & Dodds, Van Der Valk, Shetland, Death in Paradise, The Alienist, Vienna Blood, Traces, Grantchester, Top Boy, Bloodlands, The Capture (I thought the 2nd series was stronger than the 1st) Professor T., Gangs of London, and Strike. Also, We Hunt Together (which I think is incredibly under-rated and I can’t understand why the dark femininity crew aren’t all over it). Another couple of shows I think are really under-rated are Babylon Berlin + Snowfall – really don’t understand why they don’t get more love.

New crime dramas/thrillers included Inside Man (would love a spin-off series w/Stanley Tucci’s character), Nine Perfect Strangers, The House Across the Street, Tokyo Vice (personally, I thought it was over-rated), Wreck (pleased to see it’s already getting a second series), Sherwood, Rules of the Game and Four Lives (about the victims of the serial killer Stephen Port). A couple of BBC dramas I really liked were Red Rose, Chloe and The Responder and Channel 4 did a good prison drama, Screw which I hope gets recommissioned.

ITV also did a reasonably good adaptation of The Ipcress File as well as a drama about that man who faked his own death then turned up in South America as part of an insurance fraud – The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe – and The Walk-In w/Stephen Graham, based on the true life case of someone giving evidence against a fascist group. Channel 4 did a quick turnaround to do a show based on the Vardy vs. Rooney court case. BBC also did one called Floodlights which was the true story of child abuse in football.

I did watch Dahmer + thought it was excellent but really hard to watch. Plus, I actually loved The Watcher (despite it getting slated by the critics).

  I was glad to see the return of Chucky which was as mad as ever plus The Terror (which this time was set in World War 2 in a Japanese internment camp), Inside No. 9, the final series of Noughts & Crosses and Dr Who (seeing the end of Jodie Whittaker’s turn as the Doctor). Also returning for second series on Netflix were two favourites of my mine, Russian Doll and Umbrella Academy and I finally watched S1 of Squid Game (which I loved). There were also new shows such as Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, The Sandman and Wednesday (which was one of my favourites of the year) plus I finally got round to watching The Irregulars (sad to see it got cancelled after only one series). Sky did an adaptation of The Midwich Cuckoos (which I quite liked) plus a great time travel show called The Lazarus Project (which I really hope gets another season). Harley Quinn returned + I love the relationship between Harley & Ivy.

i'll do the ones, that has canonical bisexuals (cause i feel like we could use some bi visibility)

1. stumptown. it's a show about the true bi-saster, dex parios. did i mention she also has ptsd? did i mention whe also has autistic brother? didi mention she's played by cobie smulders? and she's also badass! i have a crush on her. show's funny and other characters aee great as well. be aware tho, the show was canceled after the first season. sadge

2. everything sucks! the show was also canceled. sadge. and also it's about a lesbian. but there's a bi character in it, and the story is great, also atmosphere is so nice, and overall anly positive feelings

3. atypical. it's okay, i guess. i fucking hate it tho. i shipped these two bi girls so hard tho. i fucjing hate how the show handled it all tho. can anyone ask me why i hate cazzie so much? i'll gladly answer! untill then, the show is nice, humor is excellent, and the main char is autistic as well, and there are TWO bi character, how cool is that? i hate it tho. so fucking much (and i haven't seen the 4th season, btw. i should)

4. harley quinn. ???? if you okay with violence, it's a great show!

5.the bisexual. i guess i wouldn't fully recomend it, i feel like it's not everyones cup of tea, but i just think more people should know it existed. it's about a bi woman who her whole life pretended to be a lesbian and now trying to reunderstand herself

6. the owl house. almost forgot about the owl house. did you know luz is bi? i cannot wait for the show to admit it (writing fanfiction about herself and fictional men doesn't count, lesbian amity did it as well)

7. dead to me. i wouldvery much recommend it to everyone! tho there isn't that much queerness, buti promise you, it's all worthit!

8. arcane. i don't care, vi is bi, and so is cait. i don't care.

i guess that's it. the list isn't as long as i would want it to be((((((( there are so little good things with canon bi's as you see...

as for the books, i've stopped reading them before i stopped being homopgobe so i don't have any recomendation on this regard

anyway, the peice of media that made me stop being homophobe - the game life is strange. the main char is also bi how cool is that!

Liminal Spaces (Finished)

One of my favourite fics! Where Tim is taken by young justice verse batman cause he has horrible eating and sleeping habits, and he takes down the light. Really good, love his characterisation, Damian was so adorable and protective in this. Also read the other works especially Compression.

Your Universe is Kinda Soft (Finished)

This is another Tim going into another alternate universe fic, this ones before Jason dies and the Titans remember everything.

Prudence in the desert. (Unfinished, but hasn’t been updated in a while)

Pru is injured and she meets the the batfam, none of them have met her and know one knows what happened to him during the time Bruce was missing.

Abandoned Nest (Unfinished)

One where Tim leaves cause he doesn’t feel like he’s part of the family, so he moves to Brazil and is still in contact with Tam, Cassie and Pru. He adopts a child named Neves and Kon and Bart come back to life. Neves and Damian are both kidnapped and they meet.

How To Accidentally Acquire a Brother

I love this fic!, So Tim isn’t Robin and everyone is a bit deaged except Damian who is still ten. Janet and Jack Drake are really horrible here and run a drug ring. So Tim goes yo the Red Hood (AKA Jason) and gives him evidence on his parents crimes. Tim is really sweet and a genius in here and he knows Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Barbara Gordan, and Stephanie. The Batfam are trying to find out how Tim knows everyone while he’s in Jason’s safehouse. He becomes Red Robin briefly but more like an Oracle for Red Hood.

birds fly in every direction (Unfinished and hasn’t been updated in a couple months)

So Tim (who is not Robin or Red Rbin yet) sends evidence on criminals to the police under an alias, and Jason and Tim meet at school. The batfamily grow to like him and his parents are kinda douches, he knows their identities and reveals them later it’s really good, both angsty and funny.

Jason's birds (Unfinished)

A fic with a platonically possessive Jason and a sentient pit, Jason realizes that his family is kind fricked up, so he kidnaps Tim then Dick than probably more. Shows mostly Jason and Tim, but later shows a lot of Dick.

On The Road (Unfinished, pretty much abandoned cuz it hasn’t been updated in over a year.)

This one is unfinished and on the shorter side (only four chapters) Where Tim doesn’t interact with the batfamily much and is shot protecting Damian. The batfam is kinda bad but mostly redeemed.

Sticks and Stones (Finished, only four chapters)

Kinda sad, lots of emotional abuse , Stephanie is not portrayed very good in this but most of the stuff she did in this is cannon. Has protective teen Titans.

Oneshots

Bird's Night Out

Really funny and angsty with Batbrother relationships all connected, mainly with Tim and Jason. Begins when Jason calls cps on Bruce/Batman. and later Tim’s angry and Jason moves in with him cause he’s alone and Tim’s helping him plan revenge on Bruce (Non-violently) Later Dick and Damian come in.

and ill spend my whole lifetime with your life line wrapped around my throat

Posted as a series cause its a oneshot that’s from two different perspectives. (Jason and Tim) Centres around the titans Tower incident but where Tim is on a phone with his parents and it shows how bad parents they are.

That Awkward Moment When You Accidently Call A Rogue Mom

Has past Joker Junior Tim, and good Harley Quinn.

Tim the terrifying

Really good series where Tim is kinda ruthless and protective of his family and friends. I especially like the first and last ones.

Short, portrays a darker Batman and Robin.

Jester Harley. 10/10. An actual classic, makes me so nostalgic !!! i really want a harley tattoo based off her jester look. Honestly I really want to see more of actual jester Harley in more media? 

Suicide Squad Harley. 4/10. Not That great, but I love Margot Robbie’s Harley. This design she is very much the joker crazy Harley, with the tattoos that cater to him, the outfit, etc. Her hair looks so cool, and I do like the vibes of it? it does kind of bother me that when people think of harley they now associate her with this outfit, when there’s so many outfits that are BETTER

Birds of Prey Harley. 9/10 HELL yes. This is the shit that I’m talking about. The break up Harley. Like her outfit looks fun, she looks fun. I’m obsessed with this look. she had so many iconic outfits in this movie and they are all good!!!!!

New 52 Harley. 7/10. I love this classic black and red look. Like I’m literally in love with that colour scheme for her. I actually quite like this outfit?

Arkham Asylum Harley. 5/10. Here me out, I might be a little bias when it comes to this Harley. This is not my favourite Harley from the game series. however, I do love these games. They did do Harley a little dirty though.

Arkham City Harley. 6/10. Hell yes, we are getting there. She looks a lot better here than in the first game. I just love the classic Harley here. 

Arkham Knight Harley. 8/10. This is definitely the best look she has in the game series!!!! She looks so cool and I’m literally in love with her outfit. Her being still joker obsessed in this knocks a few points off though. But different universe i guess!!!

Harley Quinn Show Harley. 9/10. I love this combo of blue and pink with the red and black. Also this show is genuinely so good !!!! pls watch it, it’s so chaotic and funny

Injustice 1 Harley. 4.5/10. I don’t know what this outfit is but she looks like a pirate which I kinda dig. id be scared if my tatas fell out in that outfit tho

DC Super hero High Harley. 7/10. She looks so cute here!! and you can tell she’s meant to be a high school student.

Assault on Arkham. 6/10. I like the jester vibes yet again! She looks cool, this movie is pretty alright? not the best movie but i like when she shoots the joker, icon behaviour. 

The Suicide squad Harley. 10/10 SHE LOOKS SO GOOD i’m so hyped for this movie

Darnold. He has anxiety! He's very uncomfortable with sudden change, too, so anything extreme happening out of his schedule makes him freak out

💋 Who is the most physically affectionate?

Benry. he gives his *friends* kisses, man. he would give Darnold so much physical affection it would be annoying (sometimes)

⛈ Do they enjoy dancing?

They do! Darnold dances like an old man, just kinda swaying side to side, while benry dances like a teenage girl. they have really different tastes in music, but can come together with dancing to r&b!

🌹⛈Who has the most nightmares and how do they deal with them?

Darnold has the most nightmares. Mostly about being terrified and trapped. Benry helps him by just kinda playing games with him, cos neither of them are too good at talking about feelings

kinda nervous! but only bc i have trouble thinking about their dynamic. my favorite genre of romance is just.....dudes that hang out and kiss. i also don't want it to sound like knock off frenrey.
