Eve has a new obsession and I cannot express enough how much I just LOVE Lukai Hwei from League of legends.

Hwei is the cutest little creature ever and I accept NO criticism. I claim him body and soul and he wouldn't even know it until it's too late and he's in my mouth.

I will personally sail into Ionia from my Witch's hut in the Noxian outskirts and find him just so I can adopt him into my household like one of those pet artists people kept back in the day, except I will swing by thrice a week in a pattern of Tue/Thur/Sat to bring him food, cook for him, do the washing and cleaning (not like we don't have maids for that) and we talk. Just in case he does feel lonely because living alone is comforting until the loneliness and feeling of loss and confusion take you apart and you realize way too late you need someone at the peak of not having anybody.

My enthusiasm will peak and I will heimerdiner's dog him into knowing the small grace of a smile on my face is all for him, all because I like him, because he is sweet and adorable and worthy of my praise and what he creates will please me to no end. So he will take me out in the garden or the forest and he will go ham showing me what he painted over and now the back yard is glowing and the willows are singing and I can hear both pain and happiness front back and center envelopping the world until his art is in my viens and I will go "Good boy" because that's my SEROTONIN shot for today.

Then Ill let him trauma dump and talk about all he wants he is THAT important to me. The stupid weirdo writer picked up the soggy depressed artist, golly what a curious circumstance.

"Thank you for your hard work, Madam." he'd see me off and I'll be on my tippy toes patting his head and brushing paint off his nose bidding him goodbye when the night is already deep and starry and I will return to my house content my money is put to good use.

Anyways, fantasies aside... I need to read his lore. I need to know him, I need to know more of ionia now, and I desperately love his voice

scrunkly (my "baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) the sky copper clutch!! traumatized children imprinting on a guy with baby fever is usually what i go to fanfic for so to have it right there in canon? incredible. i love all of frost's little tantrums and idk, just the way that she claims moon as her family in a way that has nothing to do with court politics? she's like, we're your clutch, obviously. and this is our court because it's your court, and all the other jabronis who live here are on thin ice. she's ready to throw down with moon's wife/the government at all hours of the day and she's like six years old. i love that moon has that energy in his life even though he personally is pretty confused and exhausted by it lol.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) it's hard out here for an ember stan because he is in so few scenes relative to the space he occupies in my psyche! i need 5000% more interactions between him and moon. him and stone. him and shade. him and river. him and the teachers. him and the clutches. him and jade and balm and chime. oh my god him and malachite? him and celadon? him and delin??

I liked him as soon as the intro for Soul Reaver 1 finished, and my love for him only grew with each subsequent hour playing and with each subsequent game. Some reasons why (there's too many!!!!) :

HIS VOICE, THE ACTING, THE THEATRICALITY OF IT ALL, THE GESTICULATION THE DIALOGUE THE PHILOSOPHIZING THE MORAL GRANDSTANDING... Ugh I love his inner-monologues, his musings and narrations (guys... I-I... may have a type....)

Like, HIS WRAITH DESIGN! ALL HIS DESIGNS BUT WRAITH ONE IS SO UNIQUE AND MEMORABLE! I had seen his design before playing the games and it immediately grabbed my attention. I have never forgotten about it ever since I first saw it. The " no lower jaw no pants thing" he has going on, I love that he's self-conscious about his missing lower jaw so he hides it with his former cape/cowl. I love his low poly ass in SR1, his empty ass rib-cage,the very grabbable waist, the glowing blank eyes, the mascara running down his bony cheeks, his blue tits… I see a game that let you play as a disheveled corpse and I'm all in. In love with it immediately, and it pisses me off that I'll never look this good!

I love his animation for eating souls.

Shout-out also to his T-posing jesus thing he does to pass through grates!

I love his ability to shift between the material and spiritual relms sooooo much, the way the architecture and environments bend and twist, my beloved

I love him as a vehicle for you to go and explore the history of Nosgoth, the way you the player are just as clueless and ignorant as he is in a way that draws you to want to dive in deeper and deeper into this world, it's so well done

I love his Ouroboros-core ass and all that that symbolism entails, I love you doomed by the narrative but nevertheless never stop trying

I love you harrowing tragic experience after tragic experience, take my boy outta these situations but also don't because they're so good

I love you endings of Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance and what it does for his character, I love you hope and trust

I love how he's everyone's pawn and his attempts to free himself from that all throughout space and time

I love his utterly confused and lost ass

I love his history, both what is in the text and all the hints and details you can read into if you want, I've seen such good meta and headcanons! ALSO Everyone shut up and go read @razielim's Metasanguine for some delicious scrumptious raziel and his brothers' meta and empire era fleshing out of their characters.

THESE TWO they have such a fun dynamic and i love that they're just working at a convenience store together in canon after they leave claw. there is a lot abt them left up to the viewer's interpretation, even sakurai's backstory is pretty barebones and koyama doesn't get one at all so there's a lot of fun exploration you could do. i would love to just see a slice of life thing abt what their time at the convenience store is like. i also think that they are gay and in love and there's nothing in canon to prove me wrong so........

mogami is a rlly compelling and interesting character to me. ik a lot of ppl don't even want to go near him bc of how horrible he was to mob and i get it. i associate him with a pretty miserable period of my life where i was hyperfixated on him for a while and at the time i was deeply depressed and found him relatable/even agreed with his view on the world to a degree. so i have very complex feelings and associations with him bc he reminds me of a dark time in my life and a shitty miserable side of myself. but that's also why i think he's a great character, because it's easy to see how he ended up the way he did and to understand his motivations, even if i don't agree with his view on things. idk if i exactly enjoy/like him as a character, but my god he's so well written........

DIMPLE AGAIN (AGAIN). i know a lot of ppl dislike him as a character and he's just generally not that popular as a favourite character but i am obsessed with him and i think he is so cool and tragic and most importantly A Bit Silly. love this guy

happy birthday to my number 1 scrunkly wunkly scrimblo dimblo, oliver !!! he really means a lot to me, so i'm gonna make a big, sort of sappy post under the cut :3

3 years ago today, august 5th of 2020, i created a funny little cat character based on a dream i had. little did i know he would become one of my favorite OCs of all time.

for about a month or so after creating him, i was totally fixated on him lmao. however, the fixation faded after a while and i kinda just. stopped thinking about him for some time.

during 2021, i was in one of the worst spots of my life. i was really depressed and going through a major artblock. like MAJOR artblock. worst and longest artblock i'd ever been through. one day, i was really tired of not being able to draw, so i decided to just scribble something down without worrying about how good it looked. i thought it might be fun to draw oliver again after quite a while of not drawing him, so i decided he should be the subject, with a new design.

after this drawing, i started thinking a lot about him again. he became a large source of comfort during the stuff i was facing that year. i dumped a lot of interests i had at the time onto him (weirdcore and liminal space stuff my beloved <3) as well as problems i had on my mind at the time. (feeling like i'm a bit too immature/uneducated for my age, really bad social skills due to rarely leaving the house all my life, etc.)

he also was just really fun to doodle and come up with ideas for honestly. just drawing or developing his story helped me get a break from the shit that was going on back then. he's a fictional character, but he was there for me during the darkest moments of my life when i felt like there wasn't anyone else for me to turn to.

and i think that's the main reason he's just so important to me. i fucking love this dumb cat. to this day i still project a lot of my struggles onto him and it helps me cope with it. he's my favorite little guy in the world and i love him so so much ^_^

I guess Martha, probably. Martha’s good, and I like her, and she got done dirty by the Doctor, and a bit by the show, and probably by some fans too. Oh! And Nardole!

glup shitto (obscure fave) CHARLEY POLLARD <3 She’s not THAT obscure, but like, she’s not THAT obscure in the same way I go “I really haven’t seen that much Doctor Who, I don’t know all that lore and characters people are talking about!” and then I’ve seen 30-40 seasons of television including the episodes they had to reconstruct from shitty audio and still screencaps because the originals got stolen and listened to hours worth of audio plays, but like, i haven’t read ANY books so I may as well know NOTHING. Anyway any of my Classic Who Blorbos would probably apply in the greater scheme of things because there probably ARE fans who haven’t watched….. hours and hours of 60s-70s-80s television …. but im sayin Charley. blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) - i didnt care about hal jordan at all until i was told that he was sky crazy. i had just seen come from away so any character that Just Wants To Fly is immediately my beloved. anyway then i shotgunned a bunch of green lantern comics and found out that theyre all deranged. love them all! but especially hal.

LOVE THIS BITCH. dc wanted to reboot GL and get a new boy, so how do we get hal out of the picture? destroy his city and make him go full wandavision trying to recreate it and all the people that died! the guardians say no, so he snaps and murders them, as well as like....all the other lanterns on his way to doing that. crushed by his failure to protect his people, he decides the world is fucked and the only way to fix it is to start it over. cue zero hour, where he very nearly managed to reset the entire universe! the death toll was ENORMOUS! he got shot through the heart by his best bud oliver queen before he could finish it though. this triggers ollie's depression arc WHICH IS A WHOLE OTHER THING,,, anyway. well he got shot but he got better because he's hopped up on ultimate cosmic power and whatnot. the 90s comics continue while he is moping in outer space until a sun eater almost destroys the earth, so he comes back and throws himself into the sun to reignite it, dying for realsies this time. and on top of all that the CHANEL THIGH HIGH BOOTS? THE CAPE? iconic. later all this was retconned to be because he was possessed by a yandere space worm that was in love with him. which is also hilarious. someone deworm this man. after he died he became spectre for a while, until kyle rayner dragged his corpse out of the sun and he got to be a lantern again.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) - he already went to hell like, twice. once it was with superman. they had a great boys night out. vaguely related but i think sinestro once went through an orpheus and eurydice-esque journey into the underworld and/or spectre hal's subconscious?? and then also one time he and sinestro shared a ring and ended up yeeted to the Death Dimension together. sinestro got himself out so hal had to fling himself off a cliff and Fall To His Death to solve this problem. you can put a lot of icarus flavour into this guy
