Unfortunately not! I make gifs by the episode, making between 50-100 per ep on average (the upper end is close to 120, esp in the dark tournament arc).

I have gone through episode 55 and took a pause for most of the year to let my queue exhaust itself.

I am returning to episode 1 to remake some earlier episodes with subtitles in my gifs! So, I won't be doing any of the later episodes of the show for quite a while :)

Sending this anonymously because I'm not openly Jewish on Tumblr, however I am considering doing so in the short-term.

I'm sorry to bother you but I wanted to ask you a few questions, if you're open to it (feel free to ignore this if so). Just so you know, I'm asking the same questions of the Jewish bloggers I follow who post regularly - both those who blog about the current Israel/Palestine situation, and those who identify as Jewish but post mainly fandom/other content.

Do you or have you receive/d abuse for being Jewish, or for your stance on the war? If so, how often? How do you respond to any hateful messages? Do you post them publicly or answer them privately? How much would you say your mental health is/has been affected by any messages, or by the content you see on your feed? Have you developed any strategies for handling social media during this time?

This is a question I've answered privately a couple of times, and I'm kinda surprised I haven't talked about it more publicly before. Thank you for the opportunity!

Before October 7, I mostly received microaggressions for being Jewish-- especially within goyishe queer communities. That sucked, but nothing I couldn't shake off. Since then, as I'm sure you can assume, it's been a completely different beast. This blog alone receives weekly hate mail, and that can increase to multiple daily death threats if a post I make starts to circulate. Some of that abuse is under the guise of anti-Zionism, but a lot of it is pure bare-bones mask-off antisemitism. 95% of the time, I just delete them and move on with my day. It's difficult to read them sometimes, of course. But there has never once been a hateful ask in my inbox that amounted to even a remotely reasonable critique of my character, of my posts, or of my identity. So they get trashed.

My coping skills for mental health on the internet right now boil down to two things. The first is that, for every death threat I get in my inbox, I get more thank-you notes. I hardly have a big following here, but it's clear that the people who follow me appreciate what I do here. Knowing that I bring more hope, strength, and truth to my Jewish community is what gives me the strength to brush off the hate mail.

My one real strategy for handling social media is the Queue. Oh, G-d, I love the Queue. I'm honestly only on tumblr for like an hour twice a week. It keeps me from the despair and the doomscrolling while still letting me post several times daily. I think my Queue is 50 posts long right now so I could stay offline for two weeks and not have to worry. The side effect is that I often reblog posts which are a week or so old, but as long as I remember not to cue breaking news, it's not that big a deal.

Posting by Queue, or: why I need some distance from my crafts

It has been some time since my last hobby meta blog entry, it had different reasons and one is that I need distance. Like, yes I of course enjoy crafting and sometimes I am like a little child that runs everywhere to show off things.

But it got ... less intense. And I learned I do better when I keep projects or at least details to myself to sit on them for longer. That the first euphoria is purely mine and not to be shared.

Like for my photos I have a buffer of several weeks now. Yes, I know past-me would have kind of hated that. But I learned I do better when I have a time buffer. I do take photos weekly but sometimes they don't feel special enough to get the weekly photo feature?

Friday & yesterday I went out for photos and while I like the ones from yesterday way more than the ones from friday I am not sure if the set from yesterday will get the feature or not as it's only a hand full of photos giving me that certain spark.

Other than that I am a very emotional artist, I sometimes really fuck up my art and hate it at the moment I worked on it, but then, sometimes, after a few days or weeks I can look at it and just wonder about what was my problem the day I made it.

Another thing is that I, myself, enjoy my art. The process of it. And I like to see my blog updating, sometimes I forget what post will go online and then I check the blog and think "ah yes, this was that thing!", and it reminds me why I made the blog overall, to show myself I had progress and that every tiny step counts.

Which leads to another reason why I hold back in regards of posting. Yes, I do share some snippets in my stories over on insta but not always and not all. I sit on over 300 drawings from the last two years alone nobody ever will see, I enjoyed drawing but it's nothing for the public eye. I will maybe go back and redraw some and share the redraws then, who knows?

But wait, there is actually more reasons.

The biggest or main reason is ... i sometimes go really wild on projects. In January I finished so many dolls it was insane, I worked on Cosplays and other crafts in an incredible speed, I have literally no idea where I found the time but I somehow did and doll parts arriving every week did the rest.

I keep the blog running with partially 2 month old stuff but .... to be honest I don't have doll stuff aside photos to do anymore. All I can do is wait for bodies to be shipped (or dolls even) and arrive. There has been no movement since January. Aside Iza getting the shipping notice for our Split, might take a while until its at her place and I can't really start on the Akuma until I got the body (which I at least have finally ordered this month) as colors need to be matched and mods to be made.

I am truly itchy to do something else than sewing all the time, I do enjoy cosplay but you know how much I like sewing (hint: not at all). So to remind myself of the fun I had in the past weeks I have mixed my blog to bless me with some progress I had which was maybe not sewing all the time. And well, the Cosplays have deadlines and I do get some ideas aside purely sewing while doing them, so that keeps me going for now.

Yes, I could start redoing dolls like Alastor or Erwin. But you know what? IT'S ALMOST ALL SEWING. Urgh.

Aside that real life is pretty good at eating me up and I just want to enjoy crafting. Right now drawing feels like stress relief but I hate the results and just scan the pieces and put them away to never look at them again, I have a bunch of posts queued up without any captions, a wip entry of a current project only has two photos but I lack the spoons to actually get them done. But since those posts are so far back it's fine (yes I know drafts are a thing).

In general I enjoy having my art to myself to get used to it before I put it out into the wild as I just recently got reminded I do bad with direct comparisons still and it hits some triggerpoints from the past and makes everything harder, I don't need that.

I literally have no idea if this blog makes sense even, lol. I just am tired of sewing and stopped working on my current project around lunch time and have drawn so much today and I walked way too much the whole week my friends urged me to stay the ef home and at least try to relax. But I'm restless as my body is too stressed (I know it all I'm a certified relaxation trainer so eh), so, have an over the place blog entry.

First off, i'm glad that this account is continuing to thrive! Even though I have been a bit too busy to update the queue I have worked to check each and every tag if I can!

I'm getting there with Lights Camera Pants at the moment though working through putting up some flash games as well to hopefully not drown everything in TOO much Lights Camera Pants haha.

I'm thinking about direct links to videos I'm getting materials from now. I have a current queue of 217 images which at my current rate will take a while to reach 0. I still have some stuff in the queue that was from all the way I started. I'm wondering if to wait for the queue to deplete or if I should start linking now. It might be confusing based on how I do my postings since I love to click that shuffle queue button after getting a bunch of images. I will still obviously be updating my FAQ but I'm wondering if I should go a little step further. I haven't fully decided yet but if I end up just going with links now you might see a lot of stuff in the queue that isn't fully linked mixed with stuff that is.

Things i'm considering for the blog also: Fan games, Mods, and Games that Include Spongebob. For each of these - unlike the main games - I will try to include a note that categorizes them based on these descriptors. Aka I'll note if they are not official Spongebob games or are games that use Spongebob's likeness

FAN GAMES:

This one is going to be the most vague admittedly and hard to define as what I apply as applicable to this blog. I understand that most Spongebob fan games lately are horror material or may contain mature topics. Even games that I was considering (If you've seen my FAQ you know i'm familiar with Around The Clock At Bikini Bottom.) may contain swearing, death, horror material, etc. So it's sorta matter of would these sorts of subject matters are befitting to this blog or not.

Though there are some games - at least right now - I'm gonna sorta avoid putting on just because they're a little too out of the realm of Spongebob. Stuff like Mr. Krabs Overdoses on Ketamine, SpongeGlock SquarePants, and Sinister Squidward. Also, some of them are just a little TOO MUCH for me lol (especially Sinister Squidward.)

Also, let's be honest, there are a lot of SpongeBob games out there that's made by younger audiences (Which I don't want to bully) or by greedy scammers trying to get money by putting Spongebob on a bike game or creepy dentist game (Which I don't want to give attention to.)

MODS

For Mods I will not be doing just simple reskins (unless the reskin is large in scale such as BFBB Winter Wonderland and Battle for Boo-kini Bottom.) Aka I won't pick mods where it's just Spongebob in Sonic Adventure 2 or Sonic in BFBB. I'll probably pick ones that are specifically mods for Spongebob games.

When approaching this particular subject i'm thinking of stuff such as BFBBMix but I understand there are probably not a lot of Spongebob mods under those sorts of criteria.

SPONGEBOB-INVOLVED

This is just a coined term for things that include Spongebob in some way such as Nicktoons Unite! / Spongebob Squarepants and Friends Unite!. I'd probably skip on material that doesn't have much to actually offer in content (Nicktoons Racing, Nicktoons Party Blast, Nicktoons MLB.). I want to use games where Spongebob characters have an actual impact on the game through dialogue or story (so things such as All-Star Brawl 2 Campaign could count since each of the characters has active dialogue!) However, i'll try to keep the focus on Spongebob and Spongebob characters!

For full disclosure - Birds of a Feather (Marco x Reader) is consuming my fucking soul right now and I swear I will write *anything* else as soon as I'm able. But honestly don't be surprised if I finish this entire book by the end of September. I'm in love ♥

Heart of Gold is my primary priority - I need to finish it before I can start book 2 of Quicksand, Thrice Prophesized, and A Light Touch, and for anyone who hasn't realized yet, it's because all four titles happen in the same AU.

okay so. i’m obviously still disappointed on taylor, but after everything i’ve realised it’s not worth it anymore. i’m still a fan and i cannot deny that. altho it’s true that i’ve distanced myself from her, she is and will always be a big part of my life! and i’d be lying if i said i’m not excited for 1989, bc i bloody am!! it’s one of my fave albums of all time and i really don’t have the strength anymore to let anything else ruin that for me (unless there’s a mh collab on it, then i’ll explode lmao) but the truth is that i’m just an art consumer as we all are, and she is pure art. so i’ll just keep doing my thing while she does hers. end!

that doesn’t mean i’ve erased everything from my brain or that it won’t upset me if she messes up again. but i’m choosing to stay away from drama, not just hers but fandom drama in general. the past year has been a roller coaster of emotions and i’m just tired of it. and the funny thing is that it doesn’t really matter! it doesn’t matter AT ALL. its only point is to make me bitter and out of patience, and i’m just another random person with random thoughts that won’t have any impact on her or anybody, whether i’m right or wrong, so!

It's been 1 month since I started this blog, holy cow!

Because of this blog I've made many amazing friends, been creatively fulfilled and inspired, found a little purpose, and enjoyed playing Sky now more than ever.

I've learned a lot over the past month on how I want to run this space. At first I wasn't going to reblog anything, because this blog was purely a game log and I wanted to keep it clutter free. Now, however, I feel like there's a small community surrounding it. I want to be supportive of fellow Sky players and I want to cultivate this community. Friendship and fellowship is a main theme in Sky, after all! And I cherish being part of something. So I'm going to start reblogging others' Sky stuff, hooray! That'll all be under #reblog

(I've also figured out a lot about how I want to tag my posts and that's nice too! The other main reason I started this blog was to organize my screenshots and videos to be able to find them quickly, and the tagging system is perfect for this.)

I'm so grateful for this creative outlet and everyone who has interacted and gotten involved. It's something I can really sink my teeth into, which I haven't had in a long time. It makes me feel good about myself and the world <3 It's so fun to run this blog! To plan posts and pick the perfect screenshot and sometimes stage the perfect screenshot. To schedule posts and queue posts and line posts up all nice and neat. To write funny captions and reference memes and share silly pictures. To see you guys like it, that I'm making your day brighter. ^^

Less than week after I started this blog I suffered the loss of a dear and close loved one. Playing Sky and running this blog was and still is one of the few things that helps keep me afloat in my grief and changing life. Rakhana is also said to have been "bursting at a population of 11 billion." For context, Earth has a population of 8 billion. If we assume Rakhana was a relatively earth-sized planet, their planet must have been fertile and resource-rich enough to support an earth-sized population.

That doesn't mean the drell weren't heading toward resource catastrophe. With their eidetic memory it's entirely likely they experienced a massive industrial boom that led to the acidification of their oceans and failed agriculture before they realized the consequences of their expansion. But to start with, they were likely living on a garden world with a hot, arid climate. I imagine Rakhana's typical geography was deserts and jungles.

They were headed toward a resource crisis, why wouldn't they need saving?

If aliens showed up to earth tomorrow and said they were going to save us from climate change, would you go with them? I imagine you'd have to be a special kind of desperate to trust them. The drell apparently though the same.

The codex says the hanar evacuated a little under 400,000 drell.

At a population of 11 billion, that means only 0.0036% of drell actually emigrated to Kahje.

Whether Rakhana was truly doomed to ruin or not, very few drell were keen to live on Kahje.

As a side note - It's also possible that the hanar simply didn't possess a fleet of ships large enough to evacuate more drell. That's why this is a headcanon post lol

How did the hanar cause the war on Rakhana?

I'm entering the realm of pure speculation here. I don't think the hanar even visited Rakhana for the benefit of the drell in the first place. I think they landed there because they detected artifacts of the "Enkindlers" (the protheans). The presence of prothean artifacts on Rakhana is not mentioned anywhere that I could find - I'm just making shit up at this point.

On surface level, first contact would have been an enormous and terrifying event for the drell. Literal aliens landed on their planet and even if the hanar opened with "we come in peace," they undoubtedly had greater technology capable of forcibly enacting their will on the drell.

To put it simply, I believe that hanar intervention was the straw that broke the camel's back. Nations that were already strained by Rakhana's overpopulation fought over how to respond to hanar visitors for years - the hanar evacuation of the drell is said to have lasted a decade. In the end, I believe the hanar accelerated the proverbial drell "doomsday clock" rather than delaying it.

Why does Thane insist the compact is not slavery?

Because he was taken from his parents at the age of six and fed revisionist history in an assassin training camp.

I would also like to point out that the codex says the drell were evacuated 200 ago, but Thane tells us it was "a century ago." This is such a glaring inconsistency that I'm inclined to believe it's a developer oversight. But it does make me wonder - how much of what we know of Rakhana is true?

TLDR the hanar are punks and I'm mad.

GENERAL DYNAMICS .

I can be an impulsive & adaptive kind of writer at times. If nothing is plotted beforehand I'm prone to just wing it and see how it plays out. I’m also keen to follow my partner’s writing length and /or format should the desire arise for thread aesthetic goodness.

I like plotting pre-established relationships/connections. I find it to be a pretty nice immersion factor to basic intro threads/meme interactions.

I will not play favorites with any particular character(s). I may have main baes I feel more at ease freely interacting with and replying to. My character exclusivity is only placed upon romantic ships when it is asked of me.

SHIPPING .

This is a multi-ship blog. Every relationship takes place inside its own verse unless plotted otherwise, i.e; poly-ships. I love shipping! I love talking about possible ships. I love the planning and meme slinging. As much as I enjoy it, that is NOT an ultimate goal with my muse. I also like to get to know my potential ship partner as well beforehand.

alexiaputellas I don't know how to start writing these lines. I look at the photo and I see how quickly everything can change in a support or a second but the first thing that this situation has confirmed for me is the real and pure love I feel for this sport. I could blame it on why now, why a day away from the start of the European Championship that I have been looking forward to and working for so long, but I don't. I feel I have been privileged for so long. I feel I have been privileged for a long time. I can only be grateful for all that daily happiness that is so difficult for anyone to achieve. I realised it a long time ago and I can say that I enjoyed it all the way until today.

Now a new stage is beginning. For as long as I can remember, I have never gone more than 5 days without touching a ball, training or competing. It was and is my passion and this process will be a challenge but I hope to recover, get back on track and finish what I started.

Without a doubt, I will be one more fan for a while and I will live, shout and vibrate every moments from the stands.

Teammates, I am with you and with full confidence. I know what you are capable of doing every day and how powerful you are. Believe it and go for it 😉.

“But how would it even work? The chimney thing?” 

Eddie blinks into awareness and looks at Chrissy, who’s been using his lap as a pillow since they finished passing their second joint of the afternoon back and forth. 

“Huh?” 

“The chimney,” she repeats, gesturing at the television, where Babes in Toyland is still playing. Chrissy’s choice, and he has no idea where she’s getting chimneys from because that movie is fucked up, even for her, but Santa’s not a participant. 

“Chris. You gotta… like. Ten thousand feet, sweetheart.” 

She gets what he means, even when he doesn’t. Lifts her head and twists her little body around, so she’s facing him. “Your chimney. In here. You guys don’t have one, so what did Wayne even tell you?” 

“That’s what you’re concerned about?” 

Blue eyes blink, and she worries her lip between her teeth. Eddie has to kiss her, so he does, only it doesn’t erase the frown marring her pretty face. 

“Eddie,” she says in that voice that means sex isn’t solving my problem, which, yeah, fair. 

“I dunno, it wasn’t, like, a thing? I never really believed in all of that.” Santa was well and good for some kids, but Eddie’s long been disabused of anything fantastical happening in real life. That probably explains the DnD thing—wanting to escape, blah blah blah—if he’s gonna get all psychoanalytical about his shortcomings. Which he isn’t. Doesn’t. Won’t.

“You didn’t?” Her voice quivers, and God, Eddie shouldn’t be so into how his childhood makes her all sweet with him as if he’s some sad Victorian waif, and she’s, like, round yon virgin, so tender and mild. 

(Only she’s not a virgin, and he thinks the tender and mild bit might be about Jesus, but whatever. The point stands.)

“Wayne did shit for me, don’t worry about it,” he says, waving it off and wrapping a hand around the back of her head to pull her close, fitting his thumb into the groove at the top of her neck like he’s done a hundred times before. “And, I dunno. The chimney thing is like… it’s magic. Probably Santa’d come through the roof vent if he had to.” 

Chrissy sighs, and she doesn’t seem satisfied, but she lets him kiss her anyway. 

Two days later, Eddie finds an elaborate cardboard chimney stuck to the outside of his locker, accompanied by a note taped to a candy cane within.

Currently Working On: The Hellcheer Christmas one-shot that was promised, in which Chrissy wears an itchy santa outfit and Eddie is really into the idea of ringing her bell. I'm also still stuck on Chapter 12 of Soul because there is a VERY SPECIFIC moment I want to get right, which means I've stopped writing altogether out of anxiety. So that's been SUPER SWELL.

In my professional life, I have a book that's back from line edit that I haven't even touched, lol. It needs proofread and, like, published? I guess? So I can make money and eat? And then I probably need to write another book or two. But Hellcheer is so much more fun. :(
