Which is your favorite platform? (of the ones you have accounts to post things I mean. I can't imagine it being Instagram since you don't really post there which honestly fair)

Tumblr, Twitter (X?) bluesky? Something else?

I think I'm going to have to go with tumblr, and it's not just because we're here. Twitter and Bluesky are nice and my experiences on both are overwhelmingly positive. But tumblr has an atmosphere that encourages originality, sharing your creations and talking about things in depth.

#I dislike the mindset of making “content” and when I'm posting here I don't feel like I have to tailor my posts to be #as easily consumable by as many people as possible #microblogging platforms are fast paced and you're constantly fighting the algorithm #making long text posts is inconvenient and usually not worth the trouble #so I rarely talk about my characters or their lore outside of tumblr #what's nice is that when you ramble about your personal projects and fictional fixations here people tend to be pretty receptive to it #like they Get These Feelings and are able to analyze and read between the lines really well at least if you ask me #on top of that customizing your browsing experience and curating an organized blog is easier #and above everything I love and cherish tumblr's tag culture #very often the best commentary I get comes from tags #answered #anonymous #instagram continues to give me bad vibes and going there has always felt like a chore

The Coordinator: Archaically, it means "happy" but in this context I believe they are using it to denote sexual orientation. Which means the answer to this is no. The concept of sexuality has some affiliation with gender, both of which lack solid definitions when you try to be more specific as to which since it varies in the minds of the people who experience it from person to person. Our relation between our sense of attraction and gender is entirely disconnected because we do not actually have gender as you mortals perceive it. It is all aesthetic for us, even preferred means of address. Though if you refer to us incorrectly on purpose I will happily allow you to be vivisected.

The Charmer: There is a concept some more advanced species have thought of, called "omnisexual" which has implications of finding any gender that might exist potentially attractive, hence the prefix "omni", even if this is not necessarily how mortals use it. This is closer to us.

the funniest thing about kellan is that he looks physically different in every set (by which i mean his hair texture and skin tone and overall look do not quiiiiiiiite match) but at no point does he ever look like oko

like absolutely i've been nursing a headcanon about kellan that his hereditary shapeshifting manifests less as physically morphing and more by him very easily fitting into a dovetail of what people expect of him and what he's trying to be that changes between different planes and situations, which is also why his color identity and mechanic function has changed so much over the sets

but it would also be. honestly really funny if he didn't look like oko because he never knew what oko looked like and so his subconscious half-fae shapeshifting never had anything to latch onto and manifest

Hey there! I'll reply here instead of to your first ask (unless you want a reply to both, just lmk) , but yes that is correct! The Veil is a secondary world, full of citizens and creatures both as originating natives of its lands and Wards that have found it, or in a sense "been invited", from the outside. Exactly how and why wards are brought in has not been directly explained yet, but I believe we'll understand why in time. As well, we'll understand how the veil itself exists alongside the outworld (as in, our world). Elias is a good source of information and has been recently fully introduced in the story-- the only issue is, of course, that he's not the most... reliable, socially. Well, he'll have to be, since he agreed to tutor Maia under Gwennebat's request. In your other ask you asked about the dangers of the world, and while they've been teased, I'm afraid to say they'll be More than teased before much longer. Maia's got a lot of her own problems, but she's been largely sheltered from the Veil's wider reaching problems. Most magi that live in protected Spires and follow the cautionary rules are. Granted, she may be sheltered, but that's only physically-- she's fully aware of these dangers, fueling almost all of her anxiety. She's just never really experienced them first hand (unless we count The Shrew incident), so, like with the chapter 2 opening, we only have her imagination to go off of. The Thorncroft boys and the other reaper cast members have more than just their imaginations to rely on for those dangers, though... Maia might soon find herself lucky if she can just continue focusing on her school woes instead.

i have about 22 active ocs i rotate lmao about 10 of those have fully developed story/background/personality

these are all ones i dont think ive posted much or at all but these are some of my fav designs/concepts:

memphis honey- catboy extreme, magic user, very loose morals, carved those symbols into his own skin before his scheduled execution so that noone could bring him back once dead. once took over a cult in order to blow it up.

diamond- legally a tattoo artist for powerful demons that would usually heal up tattoos and piercings. illegally most other things. that collar is very literally keeping their head on.

sixgill- very very very old sixgill shark. she lives in the deep ocean and protects an ancient evil and also the ancient evil's baby son. 27 ft tall.

dishi- 7ft tall super buff spirit medium and compulsive liar. a romantic but has the worst taste in men youve ever seen. sees ghosts, demolition expert. this is specifically him while possessed which happens more often than hes comfortable with bc the Veil Is Thin around him, hes like personified halloween

fangfei- sir thats a whore ass bitch. cloud dragon. their style can be summed up with 'cheap and gold'. had to fight their twin to the death at an early age. mommy issues. doing coke in the bathroom about it.
