*The GoldenLyre Cafe was quiet in the early morning, just the way Riake likes it. She hummed a sweet tune as she opened up the shop, starting up the machines and putting on her apron, ready to start the day.*

*Riake had been scheduled a double shift tonight-- which normally she wouldn't have minded but with the upcoming event tonight? Yeah no, she was not too pleased with the sudden change.*

*The 'event' was a concert of sorts, letting local bands and solos come in for the night a play a few sets for free. The cafe actually had quite a few people sign up! A lot of her coworkers were pretty hyped for it.

And it wasn't like Riake wasn't happy as well. She was excited for the musicains that this might help, as well as how it would boost they cafe!

But...Loud music and drunkards were not really her 'thing.' She'd prefer to say in her apartment with a cozy drink and a puzzle.*

*The ringing of the door catches her attention. Turning around with a big smile and a welcoming voice, she greets the new customer.*

"Hello and Welcome to the GoldenLyre Cafe, where our coffee is as precious as gold! How can I help you today?"

i cried a lot today about blaseball ending! the garages are and always will be so so so important to me. how often do you get to do something so cool with so many people for so long?? how often does something like that become an axis that your whole life turns on, that gets you to move states and fall in love and meet tons of incredible friends and grow as a musicain and person? i will really always be grateful that i got the chance to make all this weird, real music about fake sports. thanks for listening to the garages!
