I wonder if Sakura was supposed to kill Junko.

If Mukuro believed she was going to fake die and then go help Junko run the Killing Game.

If she really believed she was never going to have to be part of the class trial part of the game, and then when Sayaka screwed up that plan and Junko wasn't going to let up and was going to force her to actually play, Mukuro didn't even think about the rest of it. If that's why she noped so hard and stepped on Monokuma.

Like - the idea of Mukuro prior to this during the lead up to the tragedy having to sit around while Junko makes her best OC ever Monokuma DO NOT STEAL and Junko sending one of the first Monokuma over to her excited because he's working and Mukuro both amused but also a soldier who very easily proves that Monokuma is nothing by Look, Junko, he's a stuffed bear, I can just step on him! and He's not a stuffed bear; he's Monokuma!

Of Mukuro only ever half-taking Monokuma seriously and that being fine outside of the Killing Game, but she can't get away with it here because Monokuma has to be taken seriously.

Mukuro who expected a very specific plan and was not particularly flexible to being collateral damage when the plan didn't go right (except it did) and as a result literally causing herself to be collateral damage.

Because you thought Monokuma couldn't be terrifying; screw you, I will prove he CAN, and you will be my example met with Junko Ultimate Analyst listening to the Ultimate Gambler about being adaptable.

•she's taught them to handle themselves and how to deal with bullies

Mondo Owada and Heathers is one of my favorite things so bear with me

So I've only a couple of fanfics and fanart where people throw the DA students into a Heathers theater or outfit, but it's always such a joy to see because I'm a general theater nerd and DA enjoyer.

And as I've said before on one of my first posts, Mondo is a big theater nerd. He adores Heathers as much as he adores Grease and would secretly love to be in any sort of production.

And just imagine if Hopes Peak allows some of the students to hold auditions for a play- oh a play you say? Well what kind? Well a musical production of course and gooD GOD MONDO STOP DONT RUN IN THE HALLS YOU'RE GONNA GET DETENTION

Let me tell you how fucking excited Mondo would get. He just lets it all out and starts gushing about musical theater to Leon, Chihiro, and Kiyotaka. He's so excited to see a proper production and is eager to see the final product- and then Sayaka suggests he audition (I personally think Sayaka received some sort of assignment revolving around organizing a musical event/doing this as a fundraiser/etc)

Mondo is SO ON BOARD TO AUDITION AND GETS SO EXCITED TO THE POINT ITS ACTUALLY FREAKING PEOPLE OUT AND AH-

Listen I just think Mondo being happy is a lovely concept and we need more of it. His voice is fine, but with Sayakas guidance he can pass as a fine JD (Sayaka insists he play JD cause of his voice, jacket, his knowledge of the play and character, etc)

Mondo is just so hyped and excited over the whole thing he doesn't even consider that his brother and gang might try to watch him BUTTT THATS FOR FUTURE MONDO TO WORRY ABOUT.

Oh, this one is so fun! I love the extra prompt you came up with as well though the choices for this were so hard to make!

The character I'd push off a cliff

Honestly, it would be Lambo. I mean, I love Lambo more than a considerable portion of the fandom does and he amuses me greatly, but he can still be an awfully annoying brat and I'd probably get fed up and punt him off a nearby cliff by accident. However, let's all admit that Lambo takes a lot of very physical damage in canon that's equivalent to being tossed off a cliff or worse and he still keeps ticking after all of it, so he'd probably be okay after being sent over a cliff.

The character I'd kiss

Well, to make a terrible joke, depression and a complete lack of regard for my physical and mental well-being at times (I'm honestly trying and improving guys, don't take this too too seriously) means that I do not fear death, I welcome it. So I'm kissing Hibari. Might as well go out doing something fun and leaving an impression on someone, haha!

The character I'd marry

Okay, but he's not even, nor has he ever truly been, my favourite or one of my fictional others, but even I have to admit you'd be crazy not to marry Yamamoto. The man will always make you smile and laugh, will be fiercely loyal to you, will have your back, can cook and clean, and my parents would both love and hate him. Perfect marriage material and I'd get the best father in law in the world.

The character I'd set on fire

Ryohei and I could totally get him to not only allow me to do it but have him beg me to do it, if I convinced him that it was some new training method or ritual that only the strongest of fighters can withstand. And I can be pretty damn convincing. Of course, I'd put him out pretty quick because I wouldn't want to cause any actually serious damage.

The character I'd wrap a blanket around

Surprising nobody, it's Chrome. That poor girl has been through so much and she still tries so damn hard to be good and strong and to do her best for those she cares about. And I so badly want her to rest under a pile of warm blankets, in a feather soft bed, in the softest of pyjamas and wake up to breakfast in bed and spend the day getting pampered and doing things that would truly make her happy. I mean, she would probably never let anyone do that for her, but I totally want to.

The character I'd be roommates with

Okay, but these last two are where I had the most fight to decide who to put but in the end, I just have to admit that living in the filth that Kokuyo Land is would legitimately probably kill my very clean, everything in its place, super organized, obsessive-compulsive ass so I will have to go with that I would room with Gokudera. Honestly, I think that as long as we weren't in a pandemic like situation again where we were stuck together every hour of every day, we could probably survive rooming together without too many major fights, especially since I'm an extremely tolerant person who hates conflict, so I would shoulder and grin and bear a lot of his more unpleasant traits and just continue to live in ways that worked for the both of us.

Okay, but who wouldn't look at Mukuro at some point and be like 'bitch, why are you like this? Like, seriously? And all these plans and plots of yours? To what end? And then, after you succeed, what then?' Because I love Mukuro and I love his characterization and his growth and development through the story but sometimes you really do have to wonder if he's even figured it all out, if he even knows what he truly wants and desires and why.

LOVE it hello??? omg yesss. but also, what are we actually going for here? spiderverse au as in a crossover fusion with the arco all being spider-man from different universes? because design-wise alone i think it'd be fun to play with if nothing else! i just know reborn would still go for his suit, and i'm not saying there's no way to make it work and cool but what if we DIDNT make it work or cool because where's the fun otherwise. and it cracks me up to think about it because it's like, my dude. nO zerdtfhd. 😭😂😂

OR are we talking a spiderverse au within the khr universe where we tweak the arco curse to make it, like. to make the arcobaleno title a single concept/entity embodied by seven different people each in their own ways, instead of it referencing the seven strongest each in their respective field. if you get what i mean?? so like there'd be AN arcobaleno, but what the title entails would necessitate seven different people who'd be the same but in different ways to fully embody it. do you get it???

and what would the canon events be about then? well, being cursed would just have to be one of them, right? also walking on the path of the strongest/greatest and suffering losses along the way could be another one. and i feel like saying the sky arco would play miles' role here, as a treat. they deserve to flip fate/destiny off whenever they can. <3

oH WAIT what about colonnello as miles?? who's canonically the one who tries to interfere with the curse and--OHHHH okay, okay, consider this please. what if... trying to save a loved one from the curse/to interfere with the curse altogether and failing was another canon event of being an arco? and--hear me out--what if this particular canon event started with bermuda?

it makes sense, right??? especially if we say someone tried to save him from the curse, resulting in him being only half cursed like lal, which we could make as a reason why he survived long enough after kawahira removed the pacifier from him to become a vindice. and maybe he even ends up as a vindice because of the specificities of his half-curse.

talking about kawahira, i guess he'd be miguel in this scenario, right? but what if... he was peter b instead? oh i almost forgot, but i think we should just throw tsuna in the mix here. i actually first thought of him to play miles' role, and i know we're talking about the arco here and he isn't an honorary arco or anything (THEN AGAIN--), but his bond with reborn shapes reborn so much, i just like to have him there too when i can to keep reborn the same as we know him to be in canon. and like, it IS just as fun to think about a reborn who never met tsuna and was never influenced by him, but i love tsuna and their bond so he gets to be there too. <3

day 28 of martch - redraw old art

had this idea 4 years ago and now i have realized it lol. i put way too much thought into this so notes below

notes for designs i did while making this:

i wanted them all to have unique eye shapes instead of defaulting to how i draw eyes normally because animal crossing characters dont have uniform eyes lol

also i worried wayy too much about some of the species choices lol. like. do i make junko a bear because monokuma, or does that give the twist away? do i make everybody a different species, or do i double dip in a few places to make the twin twist less predictable? ultimately decided fuck it im not writing the game im drawing fanart i can do what i want

when i first came up with this idea i'd only fully decided on the species of 7 of the cast so here's my train of thought for why they are what they are:

yasuhiro- easiest out of the way first. there's nothing else he could be but a frog. decided to give him the weird facial hair animal crossing sometimes gives their characters because its not animal crossing without a couple ugly guys (affectionate)

hifumi- big guy. elephant. made sense. gave him some pink accents despite not thinking it worked all that well to get that animal crossing authenticity yknow lol. plus he likes some cutesy things so he can have some pink as a treat

sakura- felt bad about making her a gorilla ngl- especially since she is. one of the three characters in this game with a darker skin tone. but literally no other species made sense for her. and ngl there are like. no gorilla villagers i like. so i tried my best to make her look cool as hell

sayaka- cat villagers are super popular, so might as well make the ultimate pop idol one, right?

asahina- okay this comes from bias on my part but in my new horizons my default uchi villager was a rabbit and asahina would 100% be an uchi villager so bada bing bada boom. ended up making her coat more orange than it actually is cause i wanted her to be red and didnt want it to clash.

mondo- im going to be completely honest. when i thought of this i was just like "oh that makes sense i always associated mondo with tigers i dont remember why tho." and i just double checked and not only are they in his execution but he also has tiger underwear. so. this ones canon imo

ishimaru- once again, wolf villagers are popular, and just made sense for him. hes a loyal rules guy, and more edgy than a dog- plus, it gives him a cat and dog dynamic with mondo! this concludes everyone that i came up with their species 4 years ago, below is the ones i decided now

kyoko: i was between anteater and wolf for her, and since i decided not to double dip on species, i went with anteater. idk, anteater villagers always seem so aloof and strange to me, it's just her vibe.

junko & mukuro: i was between bear, cat, and rabbit for them, and once again, avoided double dipping. bear is pretty obvious, but cat was because once again, cat villagers are so popular, and rabbit was because of the irony. junko's ears are also supposed to mimic the little monokuma hair ties she has lol

celestia: i was between anteater and ostrich, and i'd already chosen kyoko as the anteater. i didn't even remember that the ostrich villager was called ostrich for a bit, i kept thinking of her as a peacock, but then realized that was perfect for her whole european thing lol.

toko: i was between cat and squirrel, and sayaka was cat. her just being such a small bitter little guy is fitting for her i think.

chihiro: i was between hamster, rabbit, and mouse, and rabbit was taken. i think i only went with mouse because i wanted to draw that head shape, but i did realize after that that means they and mondo are a cat and mouse lol

makoto: i was between deer and dog, and honestly it all came down to his ahoge. if there was a way to have antlers and an ahoge, i would have done so, but honestly it worked out for the best i think. having a dog and cat relationship with sayaka + komaru and toko being dog and squirrel just worked too well.

togami: i was between horse and eagle and this was one of the hardest decisions. ultimately went with eagle simply because i didnt want to draw an animal crossing horse. this did end up making the squirrel be obsessed with the eagle which i do love. i kept trying to work blue into his design but it just did not work at all.

leon: oh leon. the hardest one to choose. i had to save him for until id decided everyone else lol. i was between bull, eagle, and tiger, and went with bull bc of double dipping. all three suited him equally i think it was hard to choose. also coloring him was hard too lol

So now it’s all over, do you want to look at the other choices that the Survivor characters could have fought instead and tell if they would have won or lost?

//Yeah, ok sure. I'll break it down super quick, but bear in mind that these are quick analyses and not comprehensive ones, so I've only glanced at the surface and I'm not completely sure on it.

//Makoto in Survivor beats every one of his lineup of opponents (Phoenix, Michael Afton, Phil Egtree and Seong-Gi Hun) with Scott Pilgrim being the only one he loses against. Scott has done ridiculous things that Makoto has never come close to surviving, and he's got more impressive displays of power, especially since he's always been the best fighter in his precinct and Makoto only recently became one of the best fighters in the Future Foundation.

//Similarly, Mukuro beats everyone in HER lineup EXCEPT for Kayano. So she kind of got unlucky with the poll. Reze is a tough one for her, but with Mukuro's abnormal strength, she could still do it.

//Akane would handle Chie and Min Min, but I'm not too sure about Mako or Bullet, since both of those operate on a MUCH HIGHER scaling system. For Videl, it's a matter of whether or not she can keep up with her flight. If she can, then she wins easily. If she can't, then it's gonna be a lot more difficult.

//Peko unfortunately loses against every single one of her opponents except for Inaba Ryo. However, they are all much fairer fights compared to Right-Hand Man.

//Sakura actually has a much more even split across the board. Aside from Jonathan, she beats Luisa Madrigal handily, and Daidoji. But I think both Pyrrha and Dedue have her beat.

//Narumi beats everyone in her lineup except for Yang and maybe Jacqui, but Toga was still the absolute closest fight across her board.

//Unfortunately for Mikan, after taking a second look, she loses basically ALL of her potential matchups. I know that sucks for her, but the truth is she's just not as strong as she seems to be, especially in the grand scheme of the multiverse. Her closest fight is probably Nurse Valentine from Skullgirls.

//Komaru's is also split very evenly. She ties with Katie, beats Akane Tsunemori and Uzi Doorman, and loses to Jesse Faden. Whether she can beat Lucio or not is entirely dependent on whether she's a good enough shot to actually catch him.

//Kaede beats Sara and Yun Jin, but loses to Demyx, Kotone and Raine.

//Seiko beats Pop Fizz and Dr Coyle, but loses to Lizard, Moira and Takemi.

//Surprisingly, Hajime's opponents are also very evenly split in win/lose ratio. He has a very close match but ultimate beats Deku, and absolutely CLOWNS upon John Doe, even though a lot of people in the DB community seem to think it's an even fight. Infinite is a similar stomp, but it's questionable whether he could beat Min-su due to his literal god levels of power compared to Hajime's veritable god levels of power. And surprisingly enough, Sunny/Omori is a complete loss if you're taking the rules of Omori into account.

//And lastly, Junko loses to Monika and Afton/Springtrap, beats Chris McClean and The Major, and as for the Joker, I think it's pretty even, so I'm not sure which of them comes out on top there.

This stupid bear, named Monokuma has just finished announcing the fact that a killing game will be holded. Everybody was panicking and surprised by the sudden news. You didn't know what to feel except imense fear... to be trapped in a killing game, to kill people and stuff like that...it purely made you sick. Your S/O, Mukuro noticed your discomfort and frustration, and even if she was appeared to be looking scared too, she took ahold of your hand and looked in your eyes:

" Y/N... please don't be scared, i will make sure you're going to be fine. I will protect you, no matter what. " she said with a reassuring smile.

You could only smile back at her and hug her tightly. Or atleast... that's what you wanted to happen... In reality, Mukuro was protesting against Monokuma and she took him and then stepped on him and then...

It happened. Multiple spears stabbed right trough Mukuro's body as you stared in absolute shock and despair.

" MUKURO ! " you yelled, but it was for nothing.

You ran as fastly as you could to her and watched as her bloody body fell. With her last strength , she muttered out:

" I'm sorry...I wish...i could've protected you longer... but...please survive for me... you're strong and i know you can do it... "

And then it was over. Everything was done. You've starting crying uncontrollably and swore to survive, for Mukuro...

Thoughts On Danganronpa Project: Eden’s Garden Fan Game

It’s genuinely so good so far guys. It’s incredible how much effort was put into this project, and how well it’s turning out so far. The potential for this project is ridiculous right now.

Damon Maitsu: Ultimate Debater - Snake. It’s so interesting that we’re basically playing as the Byakuya of this game. It doesn’t feel quite as antagonistic as Togami but there’s definitely some of the same leanings. At least as of right now. Damon kind of reminds me of Hajime, and how he acknowledged that even he wasn’t sure if he wouldn’t kill someone if he got desperate enough. He’s certainly arrogant and a bit hypocritical in that arrogance but I’m supposing that may be part of his development as a character. Either way, it’ll be an interesting perspective to play from.

Eva Tsunaka: Ultimate Liar - Crow. Ah, the enigma of this game for sure. So far I’m really enjoying her as a character and am very intrigued by the concept of having someone that you actually can’t tell if they’re lying or not. So far, Eva has been impressively unreadable while still coming off as having personality. In fact she’s actually a little sassy. Her and Damon also just bring up some excellent points in regards to Wolfie trying to rally the troops with a very... naive view of trust. Also, I just... really love her hair. The black giving way to the white tips.

Grace Madison: Ultimate Golfer - Rabbit. When I say my heart stopped when I thought we’d lost her already. I was having Mukuro flashbacks and I can’t even begin to describe the relief I felt when she didn’t end up shot. I think she might be my favorite of the cast so far. She’s definitely abrasive, no doubt about that but it feels different than it did with Miu or even Hiyoko. I can’t quite describe what it is, I just kind of find her funny. I just also have to admire the guts (insanity) it takes to just go up and beat the crap out of the cult leader dude that kidnapped you and a bunch of other Ultimates in order to get you play a killing game. Like, she actually was just gonna beat him down. You have to respect the guts.

Wolfgang Akire: Ultimate Lawyer - Sheep. Now time for the protagonist to our antagonist. On surface level, this guy seems pretty swell. There’s definitely some backstory trauma with how riled up he got during the Prologue Trial but overall, he seems to have a decent head on his shoulders. But again, that’s just a surface level read. Unfortunately for Wolfie, however; most of us are familiar with the idea of a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing. Do I trust him? Not particularly, but I think he’ll make an excellent rival character if that’s indeed what they’re going for with him.

Toshiko Kayura: Ultimate Matchmaker - Flamingo. Who is this sassy, lost child? Like seriously, why is a 14 year old the Ultimate Matchmaker? Did she guess which contestant the Bachelor would choose 100% of the time or something? Anyway, I like her design but I also just.... really don’t have an actual opinion on her yet. 

Eloise Taulner: Ultimate Fencer - Swan. Protective instincts are kicking in hard with this one which means she’s most likely going to die. She seems like a sweetheart, and that’s always dangerous in a game like this. Outside of that I don’t have a ton to say about her but I’m looking forward to learning more. After all, it’s only the beginning of the game.

Desmond Hall: Ultimate Marksman - Shark. He seems like a pretty chill dude, and I can see a lot of potential red herrings in regards to him and his skill during trials. I’d be surprised if he isn’t suspected in at least one trial.... until it actually turns out to be him. Dun dun duuuuun.

Ingrid Grimwall: Ultimate Blacksmith - Lion. Love her design. Another character I’m not particularly sure about. Again, seems like a big teddy bear but... there’s something that doesn’t quite sit right with me now that I’ve seen the whole prologue. I can’t put my finger on what it is. Also while the creators have said that they’re going to avoid the typical Danganronpa tropes  (two murders in the third chapter, big muscle character dies in the fourth, etc) I will be shocked if she makes it to the end of the game.

Wenona: Ultimate Entrepreneur - Bear. She certainly has the arrogance to give our darling protag a run for his money, and I’m looking forward to the possible back and forth between her and Cassidy. Another gorgeous design, and I do really like her voice. I’m actually placing bets on her being a survivor. I’m fully prepared to be absolutely wrong. Really interested in what she brings to the game.

Cassidy Amber: Ultimate Pro Gamer - Spider. Speaking of our resident streamer, she’s another character that I like, but something about her is also just very off putting to me. I appreciate a good Ace Attorney reference though, so that does get her some bonus points. As stated earlier, can’t wait to see her butting heads with Wenona.

Ulysses Wilhelm: Ultimate Historian - Owl. As someone who loved history in school, is an avid note taker, and desperately just wishes she could spend most of the day napping.... this boy is such a mood. Outside of that, however.... He hasn’t really made that big of an impression on me. In fact, when listing characters earlier today, I completely forgot about him. So.... do with that what you will. I don’t hate him by any means but so far I’m a bit indifferent. Which is a shame because history class was usually one of the classes outside of English that I was actually very good in.

Mark “Mayhem” Berskii: Ultimate Music Producer - Alligator. This kid looks like he really needs to go to sleep and honestly... I feel that.

Diana Venicia: Ultimate Cosmetologist - Chameleon. Okay, so this girl is actually one of the ones I’m so overtly suspicious of for seemingly no reason. At first glance at least. Diana just seems so weirdly normal, if not a little shady. Like seriously, if you actually look at some of her dialogue, she has a tendency to sneak in these really backhanded comments. Keeping my eye on this girl.

Kai Monteago: Ultimate Influencer - Butterfly. ..... I do not trust this boy and his crocodile tears. Not in the slightest.

Jett Dawson: Ultimate Drag Racer - Coyote. Good boy. No way he’s making it to the end. Again, will be genuinely shocked if he does.

Jean Delamer: Ultimate Ship Captain - Dragon. His voice. Yes, sir. But also, he seems like he’ll be a bit of trouble. Similar to how Kaito kept getting himself into trouble by being a hot head. Really hoping he sticks around for a while, but knowing how these games go, I’ve probably just jinxed it.

Tozu: Game Master - Goat. I really like this change up from the main line games. Instead of a joyfully creepy teddy bear mascot we have the clearly unhinged cult leader. This should be interesting.

Mara: Enforcer - Panther. We know nothing about her and I already love her. Sure, she almost killed Grace but I’m willing to forgive that very minor transgression. I also just love that they actually gave her tone/muscle definition. Her design is seriously cool.

Outside of the characters I just really dig the art. It’s obviously replicating the usual Danganronpa style (masterfully I might add) but there’s also these really neat little extra touches. I especially love the art for the splash screen showing the Surviving Students countdown and can’t wait to see how they play with that.

I’m just genuinely so stoked to see where this all goes and can’t wait for Chapter 1′s release. At least they do have a lot of the assets finished. Most it now would probably be other splash screens, trial dynamics/mechanics, and ironing out some of the future story points.

A fathers betrayal

Juu had spent countless hours and nights staying awake. He had to find his son. He knew he might not have dealt with things in the best of ways but his son was the only family he had. There were countless search troops all over the place and even he had left his place a multitude of times to try and find Tsurugi. It's been a long month...  He felt like he was losing hope at this point. Juu was siting at the police station's office muttering nonsense to himself just trying to get his brain and his body kicking again.

How can the chief of police not even find his own son?!

That was one of Tsurugi's upperclassmen walked into the building with a girl trailing behind her. "Hiii! You're Kinjo right? I'm Enoshima, Enoshima Junko." She gave the other her typical bear-grinning smile with her hands on her hips. She truly looked like a queen and he was completely unaware just what she was about to deliver.

"Yes, you two are from class 78. I know the school has gone on lock down since the tragedy started... I'm impressed you're standing in front of me. What do you need?" It must've taken her a lot to get out of the academy and going unnoticed... Especially if there's another person with her.

"Ah... Boo-hoo... trying to cut our time here short... But, I just wanted to tell you... None of class 79 actually made it to the lock down. I was walking around though... and we found this." Junko signaled to Mukuro to give the man the bag Mukuro was holding.

Mukuro placed the bag on the desk and it let out a disgusting squish noise as things moved around liquid seeped through the bag onto the table. It wasn't just any liquid either... Was... Was that blood?!

Juu slammed his fist down on the desk, looking up at Enoshima. "What is the meaning of this?"

"Don't be mad at me Mister Chief of police! I had nothing to do with this! I was walking through the school when I saw the carnage... Next to this was a police badge was found with Tsurugi's name on it. T-This is all that's left of your son! Waaah!" She let out her fake tears to try and push her point.

What. All that.... was left...? He's been searching all this time... Only for his son to have died...? Hesitantly, Juu opened the bag and was greeted with a pile of mush that was once a person. It was definitely pretty aged by now and there were bugs crawling around whatever was left. He almost threw up at the mere smell it had hitting his nose for the first time.

"You know what I think Tsurugi would've liked more then anything? To be close with his father... Even after his death. He did love you dearly after all, what kind of father would deny him that wish? Try and eat it." Junko stared at the males face, she could already tell he was contemplating many things. "What hope is there left anymore? You won't be able to find him with search teams, and now he's landed right back on your desk... in a pile of mush caused by some random criminal probably filled with despair in his final moment. Only despair can tell what a true criminal looks like after all."

Eat... Eat his son...? The thought of it was insane to him! Inhumane! Yet he began crying. Despair... despair can judge true evil...? He felt his mind beginning to slip, everything was a haze before he knew it he was tearing into the bag with his bare hands and he felt the mush enter his mouth. His mind was shouting at him to stop and to throw it up. Tsurugi wouldn't have wanted this! Yet, his body was working against his will. "Haahh..." When he finished his mind was nearly completely numb. "Tsurugi... I'll protect you from hear on out... You're a part of me now..." Tsurugi... His son's name... Everything from his blue hair to the shoes he wore plagued his thoughts.

He'll do whatever he needs to, to keep the world safe for his son.

Ok, So, I just realized something really, really importante about Danganronpa. Monokuma was never a school mascot. Before the "most tragic, most awful event in human history" Monokuma probably wasn't even a thing. And you could argue, and with motive, that the game implies that Monokuma was already a school mascot before and just got "adapted" to the killing game thing and used as a mascot to the world destruction order, but it just doesn't really make sense. Makoto clearly searched anything he could about the school before going to there. He would know that they had a monochromatic bear as a mascot. But he didn't. That implies that the school didn't had such a thing. And you could also say that Monokuma was deleted from his memories like everything else, but it just wouldn't make sense. Why would Junko do that? What would be the point of deleting Monokuma from their memories? Actually, I think letting they remember Monokuma as a mascot of the school before the events would have made things a lot easier on the few first chapters since the existence of Monokuma was the thing that raised suspicions the most (proved by the start of Danganronpa 2, where the existence of Monomi made everyone accept Monokuma's appearence a lot easier). So no, I don't think Monokuma was deleted from everyones memories, and yes, I believe he wasn't even a thing before the "Most tragic, most awful event in human history". But why is that even important? Because it raises even more questions about what Junko did before the game started. Like okay, if Despair dominated the whole world, it would've made sense to create traps inside the school in case outsiders got in, so the executions kinda make sense. The survilance cameras, the screens, the locked windows and doors... Everything makes sense in the context of complete lockdown, wich was the situation they were at before the game starts. But it doesn't make sense for the school's headmaster to make robots and a giant, ultracomplicated room to control said robots with the appearence of the thing they're fighting against for no apparent reason. So, Junko, or someone else with more knowledge than her like idk, Chihiro, did that for her. But how and why? How did she convinced someone to create those robots for her? And if it wasn't Chihiro, then how come we don't see anyone except Junko and Mukuro Ikusaba working on the "despair" side? (ignoring school mode btw, that's obviously not canon). Maybe she killed the person that created the robots, even tho they were at her side? But the it opens the question, how many people Junko killed in total, before the game even started? Monokuma's existence as a school mascot to the killing game opens so, so, so many questions.

Danganronpa Drabble: Behind the Scenes of the Killing Game

Aah Hope's Peak. The school is known for Ultimates. But it's also known for the famous killing game TV show known as Danganronpa. A game where students are forced to kill each other to survive. But the question is, how was this created? The answer is simple. And I'll tell you all about it.

My name is Junko Enoshima. Yes, the big bad of the series, the Ultimate Despair/Ultimate Fashionista. But don't worry, it's just an act. Like all of the deaths.

But before I could get to that. I'll tell you how the idea started. It all started when our school Hope's Peak hosted a competition that one of our classes would be filmed in a tv series. Fortunately our class had won, mainly because of my classmate Makoto Naegi, after all… he is the Ultimate Lucky Student. And when we won, my other students Sayaka Maizono and Leon Kuwata had thought of the idea being it a killing game of survival. And they stated that they'll start it during summer break.

And during summer break, we went to work on it. We first thought on who will die. Since Leon and Sayaka were the ones who started the idea, Kyoko Kirigiri  selected them to die. And they agreed on that. Since Sayaka wanted to spend summer break with her idol teammates and Leon wanted to practice guitar. That was how Sayaka and Leon became the first ones to die. And for the rest, we picked random names out of a hat, with the first pull being the victim and the second pull being the killer. And I know what you're thinking, what about the third case? Where Kiyotaka Ishimaru and Hifumi Yamada were killed. The answer was simple, they were accidentally pulled twice. And I also can't forget my sis Mukuro Ikusaba. She was said to take role of the mastermind, but she declined, so I took her place. She ended up being disguised as me.

We then focused on the deaths. And we all know that in order to keep everyone from not being disgusted. We used washable pink paint. We kept using it and we even joked about it that our blood was pink. Sayaka thought that the best way for her to 'die' was to be stabbed in the chest in a bathroom. Mainly because we were watching Psycho on break. Chihiro said that he wanted to be hung like Genocide Jack. And speaking of Genocide Jack? She's actually not a real killer. Toko, who acted like she had an identity disorder actually has a long tongue, which actually causes her to shift personalities, which change her from being timid to outright wild. She helped Byakuya and Chihiro to explain how she thought on Chihiro's death. Which was by hanging her with an electrical cord, using pink paint to spell 'Bloodlust' on the wall. And for the fourth and fifth chapter, we had a hard time figuring out who will be next. But we ended up agreeing that Sakura could end up being the only dead person for the fourth case. And for the fifth case it was Mukuro, speaking of her, we actually placed fake spears in her outfit. Also if anyone wants to know what happened to the missing chicken? The answer was simple, I took it inside backstage. And speaking of the backstage…

Next is the third, which was Monokuma, and Alter Ego. The idea of Monokuma came from me, I thought of a robot-like bear that could be our principal. We got him made from help from Class 77-B. He even liked the fact that he got a role as the judge and in charge of the executions. As for Alter Ego, he ws created by Chihiro and even created the executions.

Fourth is the executions. Now when an execution happens. Someone gets grabbed by a metal claw which grabs someone by the neck. But don't worry, when people get executed, they are dragged by a chain, but it's a safe one. The execution is digitally made on screen.

And fifth is the results. After the tv show ended. We were given all to have a second season. Which resulted in Class 77-B being the class to take the role, they thought if it taking place on an island but was also a program. We also had a collab with them in filming a tv show both of them being a prequel and a sequel. With the sequel having the remnants of despair. Chiaki didn't want to have the role of being a remnant of despair. So she ended taking the role of being the trigger. And let me tell you one thing. It was painful to create. Monokuma had to walk from the labyrinth to the courtroom several times. He ended up being passed out. So we got help from Monomi, a new robot. She had to different coatings. One for Usami, and the other for Monomi. Monokuma felt very bad beating her up. Oh, and I know what you're thinking, what about the many seasons of Danganronpa? Well the answer is simple. Tons of shows around the world ended up being filmed! With our last being not in Hope's Peak. But rather a substit school from Hope's Peak. They were surprised that their deaths weren't real… but one by the name of Kirumi Tojo nearly got upset and nearly attacked Mondo. In the end, they were all impressed. And decided to head to Hope's Peak.

We also got Makoto's sister to have a major role to be a hero that wasn't a survival game. But rather a shooting game. That was where the Warriors of Hope were in. They wanted to be the bad guys as they worshipped me. And I thought it was cute.

Also I can't forget the Future Foundation. They are an acutal company, but it didn't consist of Makoto, Kyoko, Aoi, Byakuya, Yasuhiro, and Toko. But rather Jin Kirigiri and the rest of the Future Foundation members.

So in short, Danganronpa was a fun experience for us. We all had fun, and we all did an impact. When Despair maybe stronger. There's always a small glimmer of hope that can do a big impact.
