Mr. Sun

Sudah beberapa puluh kali atau mungkin sudah sampai ratusan kali aku mendengarkan lagu Mr. Sun yang diciptakan dan dibawakan oleh Rendy Pandugo. Pertama kali mendengarkan Mr. Sun melalui website youtube yang sekaligus menyajikan video klip lagu tersebut. Begitu indah video klip tersebut, seorang anak yang berperan menjadi Matahari bermain bersama teman-temannya di Padang Sabana Pulau Sumba. Landscape pemandangan, sinematografi, tone warnanya begitu selaras dan tentu saja lagu yang disenandungkan semakin berkesan jika didengar dengan seksama tiap liriknya.

Aku mencari tahu mengapa Rendy Pandugo menciptakan lagu tersebut, dari beberapa artikel menyebutkan hal yang sama, Rendy membuat lagu itu karena ia memikirkan Matahari yang selalu terlupakan oleh kebanyakan orang padahal manfaat yang diberikan begitu banyak.

Hampir sama dengan makna dibalik lagu tersebut, saat mendengarkannya aku mengisyratkan Mr. Sun sebagai teman-temanku. Lagu tersebut menjadi media ku berterima kasih kepada teman-temanku yang selalu menjadi matahari untukuku atau mungkin juga untuk teman-teman yang lain. Cahaya mereka begitu bersinar memberi manfaat bagi orang-orang sekitar dengan canda tawa, mendengarkan berbagi keluh kesah, memberi dukungan atau bahkan mereka akan menjadi wadah untuk tiap air mata yang menetes. Tanpa berusaha keras mereka sesunggunya sudah bersinar dengan sendirinya, seakan mereka ikhlas melakukan hal tersebut agar orang disekelilingi mereka merasakan kehangatan yang mereka pancarkan salah satu penerima kehangatan itu adalah aku.

Sekarang lagu Mr. Sun itu menjadi sangat bermakna untukku dan mungkin untuk teman-temanku. Terima kasih Rendy Pandugo, karayamu sangat indah untuk didengarkan oleh semua orang. Hangat di dalam hati ☀️ 💛
