Today Siri went walking with her dad to the Bay Shore trail. Her dad asked if they should ask mom to go too, Siri looked at me with a sweet smile and said “yes yes mom too.” This reminded me of how repelled she was of my presence and say “no mommy only daddy” before, until in 2015 when we sat at the dining table making care packages for the soldiers in training. Back then I thought it was Autism that made her feel the way she felt about me. Today we have become so close that I never thought I could with my Siri. Working together on a common project connected us. First care packages, later on making jewelry and now we drive together for her activities. Unfortunately, I didn’t go today with them. I was too tired from waking up early for my radio shows. Siri hasn’t been herself since this morning. She asked her dad to take her out and they were supposed to go to Walgreens but this picture arrived.
