Today, it was my parents 26th anniversary.

As usual, I am there in the corner taking care of Bella. Most of the times, I felt left out. It's hard when you are in a crowd of people yet you feel all alone- that's the loneliest.

So it was about 5 pm and Bella just got the hang of it (swimming). She kisses me on both of my cheeks, then I shake my head to her face.

That's when I knew that I am not alone. That's when I felt the most loved. By the person who is half of me. And that's when I felt that I am loving this kid so much, and she knows it. And I realized that, all these people I wanted to hang out with will just be there, but these times, these moments, will pass fast by. One day, these moments will just be memories. So I looked to her and thought, "I am just gonna 0enjoy every bits of this."

"I wav (love) you, Mommy," she said.

From then I knew, that is the best feeling in the world.

In retrospect though Eda being pals with everyone in school really is sooo insane.

Like I've talked before about Eda and Raine just being down to fucking murder Darius, no need for any discussion, let's fucking kill this guy.

But there's also Perry announcing on the news that Eda's about to be petrified, and sure, he needs to be professional about this and not announce to everyone that they were friends in school. But he keeps up with "Here's the latest Completely Impartial News on the Owl Lady Petrification," as everyone around him is calling for Eda's release, and his other old friend Lilith is also out of nowhere seemingly about to be petrified.

Eda sees all three Blight kids together in Adventures in the Elements and asks who the fuck they are, instead of recognising the distinctive looking children of two of her friends from school. And then once she does know who they are, is still perfectly content to let Edric and Emira be eaten by the slitherbeast while she runs off.

Total fucking lack of response to each other on pretty much all sides. But also Any Sport in a Storm reveals Darius follows Raine, Lilith and Alador on penstagram, and Eda's replying to Raine's posts to tell them to stop ghosting her, and listen, I'm not saying they're all still stubbornly following each other on social media and getting more willing to kill one another with every new post they see, but Eda should definitely have known whose kids those were, and if I was scrolling past Odalia's obnoxious mommyblogging every day, I might also consider the upsides of letting two of her kids get eaten.

keep getting this tiktok account on my fyp that’s essentially just “look how polite my children are because i’m such a good mother. here they are arguing. here they are cooking breakfast. the oldest is narrating the video because even though he’s a toddler i’m sure he grasps the sheer size of the audience and the effect a constant camera’s watching eye will have on his life” and one of the kids (about 3 years old) has a medical condition she’s already broadcast to hundreds of thousands of followers with a play-by-play of doctors’ updates and every time i see one of the videos of her kids sharing or making omelettes or whatever or her teaching them not to touch a hot pan the only thought my brain allows me to have is “you are a monster”

#i am convinced the only way to ethically mommyblog is to take the videos if you want to but don't release a second of them #and then ask the kids when they're grown adults if they really want every tantrum and shitty nappy out there for everyone to see
