I wasn't going to say anything else because I thought that would be funny but I'm incapable of doing so. Idk if you've listened to wtnv or know anything about it, but in case you don't! There's a whole thing about how in Night Vale they don't believe mountains are real. It might even be illegal to believe in mountains? Can't quite remember, it's from early in the show and it's been a while
but there's a whole arc about people coming to accept the existence of mountains as real. which involves at least two people getting lost for a few months in like an alternate desert wasteland dimension with a mountain in it? And that quote is from one of the lost people being like. I'm trying so hard to be a mountain unbeliever! but there's a mountain here!
and since I live in the foothills of a mountain. and mountains are a big part of the geography where i live. and therefore where all my classmates also live. I thought it was hilarious to be like. yes we all live on a mountain. no i don't believe in them <3
