Liu Kang ➤ He's not worried at all. He's really composed and knows exactly what to say and do to make sure he makes a great first impression. When you introduced Liu to your parents, they were stunned by how well-mannered he was especially with the tattoos that covered his arms. "My, he is so lovely! When will we being getting grandkids?" Your mother asked.

To say your parents were a bit skeptical at first, overtime they realized how much you brightened up whenever Kung Lao would talk to you. He was also very respectful to your parents, treating them as if he would any elder, just like Madam Bo. However, I feel as if Kung Lao would have beef with y/n's brother if they have one.

"You're my sibling's boyfriend? I thought you'd be better?" Your brother would tease with a shit-eating grin.

And thus, the rivalry between your lover and brother began. Of course it wasn't too serious, they'd often challenge each other in a lot of things and Kung Lao rather liked the competition.

Raiden ➤ He definitely bought flowers and chocolates for them. His hand squeezing yours as you two arrived at the house. Raiden was definitely nervous, but he tried his best to ensure his first impression went well. Your mother thought he was the sweetest man ever as he helped you and your mother cook for dinner, but your father on the other hand was not impressed. He believed Raiden was too kind and wasn't enough to be beside a person like you. Although, it did not affect Raiden at all, he was determined to prove himself to your father that he was capable of protecting you. Eventually your father realized he could protect you (knowing he could fight), but he was baffled by how innocent Raiden looked.

Bi-Han ➤ Your parents were beyond stunned by how TOO well-mannered the man was. Bi-Han is very independent and proved that he could handle himself, but with his professionalism and blunt emotions, your parents came to worry that he lacked a bit of personality and even questioned how you managed to get someone so strict in nature. However, Bi-Han, deep down inside, did worry about his impression on your parents. They were YOUR parents after all. His lover's, his life. Even so, it would take time for your parents and Bi-Han to warm up to each other, both ends trying just for your sake.

Kuai Liang ➤ Um excuse me. They want grandkids already. He was a perfect spitting image of a great husband. Your mother and father were so pleased with his looks, personality, and ideologies. Your father was so proud. Both Kuai and your father giving each other a firm handshake of approval and admiration. Kuai Liang had no issues with your family at all, it was as if he was already a part of it and he never felt more happier.

When you two finally had some time alone, he hugged you from behind, kissing the nape of your neck. "They're lovely, your family." He says.

You lean back into him with a satisfied smile. "I know. . .they think you are too, my love."

Tomas Vrbada ➤ Tomas felt uneasy about the whole thing. He was nervous, especially due to his past and the vast difference of his childhood compared to yours. Your parents, however, were in awe by how pretty he was, his grey hair and pearlescent eyes were just unique to them. They even thought he was very sweet. Tomas did his very best to gain your parents approval and luckily, they thought he was good for you.

Tomas couldn't help, but smile, his arm pulling you into his side. "This is a lot different from what I expected." He'd say, kissing the top of your head. "But I'm glad to have finally met them."

Johnny Cage ➤ Firstly, there really was no need for an introduction. After all he was THE Johnny Cage. They were glad that you would be taken care of financially, however, there was skepticism when it came to his flamboyant and cocky attitude. They feared Johnny would break you heart and cheat on you like many terrible celebrities'.

But what you didn't expect was Johnny to become serious during dinner, raising his glass for a toast. "Mr and Mrs (L/n), trust me when I say I will love them and cherish them with everything I have. . .and every step of the way." Johnny told them with full sincerity. He then looked to you with a gaze filled with nothing but love

It was a bit shocking for you, seeing Johnny be serious for once. He just vowed he'd be there for you every step of the way and that made your parents feel better about him, small smiles reaching their features. As for you, you became even more enamored with the man.

Kenshi Takahashi ➤ Of course, they were happy to see how well-mannered Kenshi was. He demonstrated a great attitude, but when they found out about his yakuza past, their trust drastically dropped. They worried you'd get caught up in things that could potentially lead to your death. But after awhile, when Kenshi became an FBI agent, they were grateful for the change. Unfortunately, your parents still held concerns.

"Your lover having a job like that, how will he be around to take care of you?"

Kenshi was saddened upon hearing this but it did not stop him from loving you. He promised he would not abandon you, his arms wrapped tightly around you the night you told him.

Shang Tsung ➤ Shang was surprisingly very respectful and gained your parents trust fast. He would charm them over easily with his cunning use of words as he drank wine with your parents at the table. It was a wonderful night of just talking about each other's interests and goals, Shang obviously hiding his true words with fake but impressive cover-ups. And if y/n has little siblings, Shang would mess with them, pranking them randomly on purpose just for shits and giggles.

In the end your mother went to you, her hands grabbing yours. "He is a lovely man, I think he looks a bit fruity. But whatever makes you happy my sweet child."

"Mother?!"

Reiko ➤ An immediate dislike for them. Your mother was beyond worried, perceiving him as dangerous and thinking he'd be the type to harm you. But you had reassured her that he was nothing from the sort and was rather really passionate about his love for you. But Reiko and your father developed a pissing contest on who could provide more protection over you. And your father does not like Reiko's disregard of seniority as he only held loyalty to General Shao. However, in Reiko's point of view, he believed he was demonstrating strength by challenging your father. Additionally, Reiko would boast about how perfect you are for him and accidentally making it come off as if your were his trophy spouse, making your father and mother dislike him even more. Your father ESPECIALLY.

" I think that went well!" Reiko says with a proud grin.

Part 1; MK Music HCs These have been haunting me for a while so enjoy!

Note: All these characters listed are MK11 versions, although I might make another one of these for MK1 later. Characters included are Johnny, Sonya, Jax, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, and Kenshi. I will be posting other parts, this one was just getting reeeally long.

Johnny

He listens to a mix of 2010’s pop music and sad dad rock. You’ll hear him go from California Girls(Katy Perry) to Headstrong(TRAPT) to The Diary Of Jane(Breaking Benjamin) right back to Party In The USA(Miley Cyrus) and he will have no visible whiplash whatsoever. 

I think he’ll listen to whatever’s on as long as it sounds good, but he generally sticks to the aforementioned genres.

Sonya

She’s a Dolly Parton fan at heart, but she thinks it’s embarrassing and would rather be shot point blank than have anyone else find out. She doesn’t strike me as someone who would listen to much music in public, unless she needed to ignore outside noise to focus- in which case she would blare Breakcore music.

Jax

I don’t think he listens to music too much, but I can see him listening to club music to try and hype himself up. I think he would also enjoy a bit of classic rock(think Nirvana or Oasis), but probably wouldn’t seek it out other than changing the radio station. He seems like the guy who would rather let the radio play whatever for background noise than actually create a whole playlist.

Not technically music but it still kinda counts, I think he would listen to those ASMR videos where they pretend to do your hair or makeup- He has no urge to get his hair or makeup done but he finds them relaxing when he’s struggling to sleep.

Kenshi

He doesn’t like listening to music much, it distracts his senses and somewhat disorients him. The only time he really listens to music is when someone else is listening to it nearby. He won’t really complain, but he doesn’t care too much about it. He really dislikes heavy metal, above any other genre, although it's only because they tend to mess with his senses in a way he isn't comfortable with.

Liu Kang

He won't complain about any music that’s playing, but he only really listens to music on his own when he needs to focus. He’s partial to Vivaldi when it comes to classical music, but isn’t really picky when it comes to what he’s listening to as long as it aids him in focus.

Out of all the music that’s been played for him, he’s more drawn to music that has a sort of ‘hopeful in the face of hopelessness’ feeling to it. Songs similar to Let Go(Frou Frou) would probably be the type of music he prefers. This Charming Man(The Smiths) and Vampire Empire(Big Thief) are definitely on his playlist, but I think he would also listen to Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Third Eye Blind, maybe even some Hollywood Undead if he was in a certain mood.

I don’t see him liking classical music too much, but he thinks the 1812 Overture is cool because of the canons. Tchaikovsky is the only classical music composer he respects.

He pretends to not like modern music, staring off into the distance disapprovingly whenever Johnny tries to show him some of his music. I think he secretly likes 90s club music, but refuses to admit this to anyone. Unlike Sonya, he doesn’t even indulge in this he just balls it up inside because he thinks it’s ‘unbefitting’ of a god.

He has to get up for his job’s sake either being Kotal’s enforcer, or a gun for hire in the outworld.

So, he forced himself to get up from bed, a coffee will help to reduce the pain and make him focus on his work.

So far, He has been on a very strict schedule for a long time, And he is still on it.

Mileena

As the best third assassin she is, She has a strict schedule. So she must wake up early to eat her breakfast and then do her daily tasks given to her by her father Shao Kahn. She finds it very tiring to wake up in the morning due to her fatigue and the tiring work she did before she headed to sleep.

After her father's died, Her being a Kahnum for a temporary period, but She still had to wake up and do her chores as a Kahnum of the outworld.

After her throne had been taken over by Kotal, she ran away with her trusted friends and lived in camps away from Z’unkarah.

She still wakes up early, eats her breakfast, then plots against Kotal Kahn. Until the day she met her demise.

Skarlet

Skarlet is not a night owl, she sleeps early, and she gets up early but lazily, she tells herself if she got out of bed and makes herself a cup of coffee, the tiredness will wear off.

After the death of her Emperor, she finds it hard to get up in the morning, she still grieves for him. She always tells herself that he will come back to make Outworld great again, but, that didn’t happen to ensure her safety.

She decided, She must do a very strict and constant sleeping routine, it is for her health and sanity.

Johnny Cage

This guy can’t stay up, for the sake of his career, He has a very strict and tiring schedule, He has a lot of scenes to shoot. Magazines photoshoots too. It’s safe to say that his career depends on him heavily sleeping well. But still, that doesn’t mean he won’t have a hard time waking up in the morning, We all love the bed, and we all have some sort of temporary clinomania, and So does Johnny cage!

So he convinced himself if he makes a cup of coffee and got up from bed, he won’t have to miss his Magazine photoshoots or the movie scenes he have to shoot.

He can’t miss them, never, He has a daughter and he can’t fail her. He learned from his Ex-wife how to be punctual in his career.

Subzero/Kuai Liang

As the Grandmaster he is, he must get up early, not because it is healthy for him, it is just because he is used to it. Of course, he will feel tired and want to sleep more but he always forces himself to get up from bed.

In his younger years, He always woke up early. Resisting the urge to sleep more because he was an assassin, a Lin Kuei Assassin. That means, he has a strict sleeping schedule.

But now, He is the Grandmaster of the clan, he can wake up at any time he wants, but the issue is that he is used to it.

Of course, he will make himself a cup of tea to give him the caffeine he needed to resist the urge to sleep once more!

Shang tsung's island home can shapeshift the landscape. It can change rooms,designs,aesthetic,etc.

It can go from looking like death ruins to absolutely breathtaking. To almost berrian to flourishing with life. All his servents? Clones of dead servants. Mindless drones that bend to every whim of his. Most of them were former of the shaolin order. Some guards are shokan. Mostly the ones to the islands entrance. Goro is shangs former champion and personal bodyguard. Kintaro is mine. (I hc he resurrected them and gained slight favor back. Thats why sheeva allowed them to stay with him so as long as he adhereds to the agreement that they will no longer participate in any futher schemes and offical tournaments,minor ones permitted within reason and only to protect and serve him and his wife(me))

But the main palace,where he lives stays the same,for both convenience and so he has control,it always is in the center of the island,tho the living quarters for us are of the east side of the main keep,with a full view of the sunrise. The courtyards,training area,tournament area,gardens,even the entrance to goros lair and the caverns changes. You can't find them in the same place twice.

He placed this spell and magic on his island keep because he wanted to make it harder for treasure hunters, assassins and robbers to raid his islands wealth. Fr they keep destroying his fine vases. Ugh. Lol

Also i wanna actually redesign the whole island. To make it look like an actual place to live. Instead of just a place with easter eggs like in the games. Because they use this island in lore as shangs home basically but they never actually make it look livable. Which is dumb to me.

So I'm making it livable.

a/n: My brain was thinking really hard on how they'd actually be in a haunted maze and this is the best I came up for the first half! Part 2 will include the mk women too!!!

Liu Kang ➤ He finds the attraction somewhat amusing. However he does not find it scary. Being a god has trained him to become wise and undeterred to such things, but he does enjoy your company and how you push him from behind so he could lead. It even boost his ego a little, feeling your hands cling to him with a small smile on his face.

Kung Lao ➤ He talked a big game, claiming that he'd protect you and that you can cling to him. However, deep down inside he is actually afraid. Will he show it or admit it? Probably not, but his hand does clench whenever a scare actor jumps out. When you guys reach the end, he puffs out his chest. "See babe? Wasn't scary at all."

Liar.

Raiden ➤ He was pushed to the front and admitted he was a bit nervous. He does get scared, but is extremely nice about it. Saying things like "Woah, you really got me there!" or "That costume is really. . .realistic." And he's okay with people clinging to him, he feels better knowing that you can be safe around him. Raiden is a sweet boy so he really enjoys the concept of Halloween, he finds it very fun and a great way to hang out with others.

Bi-Han ➤ He is. . . unamused. His face is grumpy throughout the whole thing and when people try to scare him, he just kind of stares with a raised brow. He charges through the maze without an ounce of fear, dragging you behind him because he wants to get this whole thing over with.

"Did you have fun?" You ask him.

"No."

Kuai Liang ➤ Like a father who finds it fun, but isn't really scared by it. He'd laugh in amusement every time someone jumps out and he has an arm protectively around you. He's heard of Halloween before, but never really experienced it in his younger days, so truthfully, he liked it when you dragged him along to the event. Of course, you did it only to use him as a shield, but Kuai Liang was okay with it.

"Are these truly supposed to scare people?" He'd ask, grinning at you.

Tomas Vrbada ➤ Took some convincing to get him to even go in. He tried his best to make excuses because yes, he was afraid, but more of Bi-Han's opinion. However, Kuai Liang told him it was okay and to have fun. So it resulted in the two of you both clinging to each other throughout the whole thing, screams leaving your throats every time something happened. Even though Tomas was scared shitless, he enjoyed the absolute thrill it gave him. He never got the chance to enjoy the simple pleasures of just being scared and having fun so he loved it in the end.

Johnny Cage ➤ "You go in first." He says.

"No, you go in first."

"You're being a pussy."

"Says you."

You and him ended up going in at the same time faking confidence and ended up clinging to each other in fear. You guys screamed the loudest screams you've ever scrumpt (Ik this is not a real word) and even ended up trying to push open a pull door. The scare actors were very entertained by you two to say the least.

Kenshi Takahashi ➤ He can't see, but was happy to be there as you helped him walk through the maze. He did get spooked by the random sound effects and louds screams they did so being blind didn't make him miss out on the maze entirely.

In the beginning though, he thought it was childish, saying "Really? You want me of all people to go in with you?" But he had fun nonetheless. He didn't outright say it though because he did not want to seem soft.

Shang Tsung ➤ He thought it was a waste of time, childish, and stupid. Did he go in though? Reluctantly, he did. He would get scared, but would be irritated by it. Huffing like the sassy man he is and rolling his eyes every time they managed to spook him.

"That was ridiculous, but the contraptions in there did give me some great inspiration."

. . .yeah, please don't ever show him the "Saw" films.

Havik ➤ An absolute menace. He laughs every time they try and scare him and sometimes he screams back just to see if he can spook them too. Most of the time he does because he not only screams, but tears off his limbs to terrify them even more.

"Earthrealmers are scared so easily." He chuckles in the most villain way possible.

Loves it because all he can hear are the screams of people and the decorations were pure chaos. Although he is a little upset that they aren't real. Why can't you just use real human corpses and skeletons? They're easy to get. . . to him at least.

Syzoth ➤ He was always very aware of his surroundings so don't blame him if he's a bit defensive the entire time. You had to reassure him that they wouldn't actually attack him and even if did understand, he'd still remained cautious. Even so, the maze did manage to spook him several times. Eventually, he eased into the concept of the holiday and began to enjoy himself. It was also a perfect place for him to be in his natural form, everyone complimenting him on his "costume". It made the zaterran happy as he gazed at the decorations in curiosity and awe.

As for himself if he needs privacy he will tell you right away beforehand.

Shang tsung will drink wine and bathe. He prefers dark reds buuuut occasionally he'll have a white dry wine or even a sweet wine. Especially if you are with him. But shang already loves the sweetness you bring in your company. The wine just doesn't do justice on that. ;3

He will also eat fruit in the bath. Like this man is the definition of luxurious and living deliciously.

As for grooming habits. He likes to keep himself well trimmed and groomed. He shaved almost completely. But if he wants to leave a bit of hair. He'll leave a lil treasure trail if anything. His balls are smooth tho. A nice trimmed beard too.

Shang has and will fuck in the bath. If you want a quickie it's in the shower. But if you want him to play,take his time,and enjoy every inch of you? He'll fuck you in his private bathing quarters.
