Ladybug sneezed as the pollen from the flowers filled her nose.

“Gesundheit.” Chat Noir leaned over to offer a hand, pulling her up out of the blossoming meadow. “What kind of ladybug has pollen allergies?”

“The kind that spends time with a cat who’s allergic to birds.”

“Touché.”

She dusted herself off, fingers catching on a stray blossom that had caught on her yoyo string. She pulled it out, twirling it by the stem as she investigated it. The petals were golden yellow, smiling up at her like the sun, remarkably like her partner.

“For you,” she offered, presenting it.

Enemies Au but the twist is its kwami swapped (for the fic ask game)

so like. i'm not a huge enemies au person when it comes to love square (which is odd because normally i LOVE that trope but not the point), so i think i would make this one crack. like...it's married ladynoir but they lost a bet against djwifi and have to trade miraculous (maybe for funsies this happens while the 4 of them are on vacation). and they have to like...accomplish a task/complete some challenge maybe like a scavenger hunt before the other one does. but they get very distracted while flirting

Adrinette fake date AND ladynoir fake date for the ask game?

for @monpetitchattriste too 😊

this one is a silly crack fic idea. an akuma (i'm leaning toward the name aphrodite or venus) is for some reason mad at all the single people. it's a glaciator type situation where she leaves the couples alone, except she's much less noticeable and harder to catch. you could pass her in the street and you'd think she was extremely beautiful but you wouldn't know it was her.

anyways she's a long-lasting akuma like it might even take them a month to find her. and to protect themselves, all the singles of paris couple up whether for real or for pretend. at djwifi's oh-so-gentle suggestion, adrinette start fake dating. and to keep themselves untouchable, ladybug and chat noir make a point of kissing whenever they're in public.

i guess it will have a little bit of a reverse love square too because adrien will start developing a bit of an obsession with crush on marinette and ladybug sometimes forgets she and chat noir aren't ACTUALLY together. whenever he talks about the girl he's fake dating as a civilian who he secretly likes she's all like >:0

Summary:

Chat Noir looked at her hesitantly, then averted his eyes and made a face that looked like he wanted to say more. Ladybug waited patiently for him to let out whatever it was that was troubling him. He eventually muttered something under his breath that she could hardly decipher. “I’m sorry, what was that Chaton?” “I said—” he paused and took a deep breath, “would it really be so bad if we were hit?” ---- Tasked with facing an adversary with an enlightening power, a power to guide individuals to their soulmates, Ladybug and Chat Noir are forced to deal with the idea of discovering their future soulmates and with what the ramifications of figuring out that information might entail for them. Things get messy, especially when mixed feelings and mutual pining are thrown into the mix.
