Hi!

So I think Piper, Bug and I would all say that @luninosity @paper-storm @cable-knit-sweater and @musette22 are some of the best writers in this little fandom who really capture the Evanstan spirit really well.

And I also want to add @wintersoldier1989 and @thedamageofherdays because they write some really awesome stuff as well.

We are probably missing some great authors here. But like these are the first people I think of when I think of Evanstan writers!

It would be terrible. and completely nonsensical. it would be like if Strong Bad from hsr was doing the Eric Andre show but every episode was Too Many Cooks from adult swim. Watcher wouldn’t even want it Up because it’s probably An Inch Away from violating YouTube community guidelines, but nobody can prove it’s Not all just an act. like when Ryan Bergara says to the camera THIS IS NOT A STUNT HE REALLY HAS ME SUSPENDED O’ER A PIT COALS all the bergirlies are like ‘he’s suuuuch a good actor!!!’ and everyone’s gotta admit the special effects look incredible. Nexpo would make a three hour video on it and be like. this dark comedy puppet show never portrays itself as anything but a joke… but just under the surface….. lurks something…… more devious….

THE SEASONS LEGACY

A mini legacy challenge that focuses on the four seasons. Each generation will have a different set of goals and requirements before the new heir takes over.

Rules:

Pick any three of the five traits offered for each generation, and one of the two aspirations. For an extra challenge, you can try and complete both aspirations.

This challenge contains a lot of gameplay from a variety of expansion, game, and stuff packs. Feel free to skip or adjust any rules if you are missing content.

If you do this challenge, please credit me (@ginovasims).

Vague guidelines/suggestions:

The heir can be any gender, they don’t have to be female. They can also be any sexuality.

Children don’t have to be genetic, they can be adopted, and you can have science babies.

Mods and custom content can be used.

THE GENERATIONS

Generation 1 - Spring

Spring is the season for new life and new beginnings, so what better time to start a new family legacy?!

You make the most of the weather warming and enjoy spending time outside with animals. Fresh is best and you won’t settle for anything that’s not the best quality, in all aspects of life. Your true love is out there and you won’t stop looking until you find your perfect soulmate.

Requirements:

Date around before finding your soulmate and settling down

Meet your soulmate at a park

Always keep your home in pristine condition

Raise chickens and/or a cow/llama

Befriend a rabbit and/or a flock of birds

Buy groceries from market stalls in Henford-on-Bagley

Win a competition at Finchwick Fair

Frequently have picnics in the park

Discover Sylvan Glade and/or Forgotten Hollow

Gain the hungry for love lifestyle

Always have the simple living lot challenge

Celebrate Spring Festival and go all out with decorations and festivities

Complete the insect and/or decorative eggs collection

Reach the top level of any outdoor based career (e.g. gardener, conservationist, lifeguard etc.)

Master two of the three skills: fishing, herbalism and flower arranging

Complete either the Country Caretaker or the Serial Romantic aspiration

Colours: Pink and Green Traits: Neat, Romantic, Cheerful, Perfectionist, High Maintenance Aspirations: Country Caretaker or Serial Romantic

Generation 2 - Summer

Did someone say beach party?!

Growing up, you spent a lot of time outdoors with your family, and you loved every second of it. You’re both laid-back and the life of the party. The sea calls your name and you always make the absolute most of your summertime memories.

Requirements:

Throw weekly parties (at the beach if it’s good weather!)

Frequently have BBQs in the garden

Frequently go bowling with friends/family

Have a sun tan as often as you can

Go camping at least twice as a young adult

Have a pool in your garden

Have swimming as a hobby

Meet your lover at the beach

Build sandcastles with your children

Gain the people person lifestyle

Always have the volcanic activity lot challenge

Celebrate Summer Festival and go all out with decorations and festivities

Complete the seashell and/or message in a bottle collection

Reach the top level of any active career (e.g. actor, doctor, police etc.)

Master two of the three skills: dancing, mixology and bowling

Complete either the Beach Life or Party Animal aspiration

Colours: Yellow and Red Traits: Dance Machine, Party Animal, Loves the Outdoors, Child of the Ocean, Outgoing Aspirations: Beach Life or Party Animal

Generation 3 - Autumn/Fall

The spooky season is among us…

You’re more of a homebody than your parents and grandparents and prefer to spend time tucked up at home, reading a book by a warm fire. You’ve always been interested in the supernatural, believing them to be fictional your whole life, until discovering one day that there’s more out there than you could ever have imagined.

Requirements:

Turn into any occult

Marry a different type of occult

Always own a black cat and encourage them to have kittens (with success) at least twice

Earn a distinguished degree

Join a university club/team

Throw a costume party every other week

Light fireworks at bonfire nights

Have a family club gathering at least once a week

Write children books and read them to your own children

Gain the indoorsy lifestyle

Always have the spooky lot challenge

Celebrate Autumn/Fall Festival and go all out with decorations and festivities

Complete the space prints and/or postcards collection

Reach the top of any mental/academic career (e.g. education, secret agent, scientist etc.)

Master two of the three skills: medium, vampire lore and research & debate

Complete either the Spellcaster & Sorcery or Bestselling Author aspiration

Colours: Orange and Purple Traits: Bookworm, Insider, Overachiever, Creative, Cat Lover Aspirations: Spellcaster & Sorcery or Bestselling Author

Generation Four - Winter

Life is like your own winter wonderland!

You grew up with your whole extended family around you and so this has become a very important part of how you are. Your family are everything and you want to treasure every moment and memory. Food is another big part of your life, and you relish in spending time in the kitchen with your loved ones.

Requirements:

Have a blended family (e.g. step children, adopted, etc.)

Bake with your partner/children every weekend

Always gift your household members a present for the holidays

Play outside whenever it’s snowy - build snowpals, make snow angels, have snowball fights etc.

Go ice skating on every first date

Always have a caged pet for your family

Have perfect relationships with all of your children - spoil them!

Decorate your house with family pictures

Gain the junk food fiend lifestyle

Always have the gremlins lot challenge

Celebrate Winter Festival and go all out with decorations and festivities

Complete the snow globe and/or simmies collection

Reach the top of any stay at home career (either freelance or always choose work from home option)

Master two of the three skills: knitting, baking and photography

Complete either the Mt. Komorebi Sightseer or Big Happy Family aspiration

Colours: Blue and White Traits: Gloomy, Family-Oriented, Foodie, Materialistic, Childish Aspirations: Mt. Komorebi Sightseer or Big Happy Family

It's finally done cooking, my sims gameplay ideas list! After scouring all types of sites, generators, lists, and my brain for ingredients, I've come up with a list stew that hopefully will spark some inspiration for your sims gameplays!

This non exhaustive list consists of ideas that are applicable to sims gameplay/things to do in-game. AKA things that can be played out in the sims or half pretended. If you're looking for less-gameplay story ideas, I recommend my story/conflict idea list. Most of the conflict and love ideas are on that list. Please feel free to send asks to add to the gumbo! Just note in your ask that it's for the gumbo and keep it applicable/feasible for gameplay. (To keep the post from getting too long I'll make a contributor list into a compressed image later on for those who send off-anon.)

Hi!

We've thought about it but ultimately decided not to. Since we are running this blog with 3 people it would be very unclear who read what and we could end up with situations where we all read the same fic in different weeks. So to avoid making things complicated we decided to just not do that.

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo

[May contain slight Stardew Valley spoilers if you call them that if you haven’t played or watched people play the game fr]

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo starts because he saw a tiktok of the junimo apples with butt cheeks mod and said you had to play the game because it was funny.

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo consists of you guys mining together and him yelling “BABE HELP” each time a monster tries to kill him even though you’re literally right next to him

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo is literally you decorating the farm and he’s like “OOOOHHH THIS LOOKS CUTE BABE!” after he comes back from either mining at the skull cavern or finding those goddamn golden walnuts in ginger island. Speaking of the golden walnuts, he gets really mad when he’s struggling to find some of them that he recruits you to help him- This can apply the other way around too

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo starts with him trying to Woo you as if you were an NPC. He finds objects that you like in real life in the game and gifts it to you from time to time.

“Babe I found this amythest just for you”

“I got you this pizza”

“i found you a mushroom”

“BABE HERE” *he gifted you a seashell*

“I bought you a bouquet!” (In stardew this is a sign of romantic interest)

He gets angry at you when you talk to the single NPC’s because he knows you’re able to get with them.

And even though he has his own cabin and bed he will always go to sleep in the bed with you and will get mad if you try to leave.

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo always lasts for a good few hours with you two talking about literally anything. Sometimes there are moments of silence but it’s not awkward it’s comfortable silence.

He makes you go to every Stardew event there is even if you’re already late game and knows what happens, he wants to just have fun with you.

He always wants to dance with you at the flower dance, and when it’s the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies he pretends as if he’s holding your hand, he’s corny

and when it’s The Feast of the Winter star he will get you a gift and asks you if it’s a much better gift than the one you received from an NPC.

Late game when it seems like there’s not much to do he’s grinding in the Saloon to complete the Junimo Cart mini game while you’re trying to make the farm look cute.

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo is him becoming emotional(not actually) when you get married and have kids in the game because he’s so excited to do it in real life as well.

You name your Stardew children with name ideas you have for your real children.

For the farm animals he always names them after someone he knows. He named one of the chickens Nanami so he could tell him about it the next day and get him angry.

He loves playing Stardew Valley with you.

“Merfolk have the ability to sing matter into shape,” Lestat said, like it wasn’t something insane to say. Louis stared at him and Lestat laughed.... “Mon cher, come watch this,” Lestat invited.... Louis watched Lestat closely. Lestat started to hum and a small patch of sand before them started to shift. Pale grains moving on their own in response to the tune, moving together like a liquid, like a--Louis didn’t even have a word for it. The hum became a song, notes without words, as Lestat sang them quietly with his eyes on the sand. The sand rose up, branching like...a piece of coral.... “Why don’t you try?” Lestat asked. “I don’t sing,” Louis said automatically... Louis looked at the sand. He wanted to try. “I don’t know what to sing,” Louis admitted.... “Pick something familiar, anything will do,” Lestat told him.... Louis started to hum, falling into the hymn of Veni Sancte Spiritus without thinking about it, his voice beginning to softly trace over the words of Latin.... Greatest comforter, sweet guest of the soul, sweet consolation. In labour, rest, in heat, temperateness, in tears, solace. In front of him, the sand shifted. Tiny turrets spiralling up, little walls building themselves around flat spaces of courtyards and the main bailey, towers and then the little chapel, and the main buildings forming in little blocks. The castle. His castle. “It’s your cage, Louis,” Lestat said, looking at it with distaste. “No, it’s home,” Louis retorted softly, poking at a turret experimentally, the sand crumbled a little under his fingertip. “Just because you claim it as your home doesn’t make it not a cage, dear heart.”
