call me ungrateful or whatever, but one thing that really gets on my nerves especially lately because I'm just seeing SO much of it, is when people comment about Jjong's death like constantly.

Like, posts that have NOTHING to do with what happened and under the comments are like "I wasn't a fan of his at the time but I can't even imagine the pain the fans went through RIP...etc..." blah blah just CONSTANTLY mentioning his death and "RIP Jonghyun".

Like we know. We get it. We appreciate it. But this post of Jonghyun and Miinho acting a damn fool has nothing to do with his death. Let us remember him in PEACE. Let us laugh and enjoy the memories and smile and still roast the members and joke about things. LET US DO THAT, PLEASE. Let us move on! His family has even stated to stop bringing it up and to just remember him the way he would want...the way we were already.

Not everything is about suicide. Not everything is about his passing.

Let us laugh and cry when we want to laugh and cry. I still roast the crap out of him and remember him the way I always have and laugh at all my memories and pictures and videos I've saved because they're good memories and they're so funny. I think it really is a testament to how good the storytelling in Kingdom Hearts is that it can make expected moments still feel significant and emotional. Like, even if I ignore the fact that I got spoiled on a lot of story-beats before I ever played the games: We knew that Xion would disappear at the end of Days. We knew that the Wayfinder trio would fall to darkness at the end of BBS. We knew that most of Xehanort's classmates would die, that Roxas would come back, that Sora would save Aqua etc and yet when it happens it's executed so well that it still feels as important as it should be. We know that Scala and the people living in it will probably be fucked at the end of Missing Link and we know that Sora will probably escape from Quadratum in KH4, but you bet I'll cry when it happens nonetheless

Yep. I think she drowned her once, then Leopardstar lunges up refreshed, and she gets the upper paw on Mistyfoot with 2 lives to go.

With a surge of power, her claws sink into her leader's golden shoulder and they tumble and roll to the right. Before the tyrant even realizes what's happening, she's yanked up, and then whipped backwards with a wet CRUNCH

And again, until Mistyfoot can't even make out what's left of her leader anymore. All she can see is that it's a red, brown, and yellow blur, because her eyes burning with salty tears and her whole body is trembling.

She drops the corpse onto the stone and it slides into the water, lifelessly. After a moment it spasms aimlessly one last time, like an insect does after its head is bitten off, unlike the deliberate, agonized throes of Tigerstar suffering through his doomed lives. And then it's still.

There's only the tranquil sound of bubbling water, and Mistyfoot's frenzied panting. Her pounding heart makes it hard to hear either.

The blood is carried off by the shallow water in scarlet swirls, but the lake runs pale red as if it's washing it away. Some were aware of this prophecy, but Mistyfoot was not.

It isn't closure to her, or a fulfillment of divine decree. It's just blood that should be on her paws, slicked away by the complicit river. She wished it could feel like it's over, but she's smart enough to know the truth. Has been through enough terrible events like this to understand what comes next.

Her body will move foward. Her mind will need to consider her deputy. Her paw will come down on code-defying cats like Blackclaw and Greenflower. But her heart will stay here, next to the remains of Leopardstar, the same way another piece of it remains at Stonefur's side across space and time.
