Gabriel - a light sleeper, he tends to take a long time to get to sleep as he often has a lot on his mind. He would hesitate to share such thoughts lest he burden you with his problems, but he greatly appreciates any chance he would get to talk about it before going to sleep - his favourite sleeping position is the sweetheart cradle, keeping you close to his side. He doesn't have much left besides you and it helps quiet his worries having you nestled up to him - rarely wakes once he gets to sleep, though will stir if you leave the bed. he doesn't mind if you have problems sleeping or if you need to get up during the night, he's always there if you need his help - isn't one to nap often, but will lay with you if you want to use him as a pillow

V1 - they don’t particularly have the ability to sleep but they can go into a sort of idle mode, this allowing them to only keep core systems running. this however doesn't put their mind to sleep, so they often use that time to rewatch their favourite memories, most involving you - they are fairly cold to the touch if they haven’t fought recently, so you may find cuddling them a little uncomfortable, but this is easily remedied with more blankets - their favourite sleeping position is being the big spoon, there aren’t many positions you can sleep together due to their wings but they do appreciate keeping you in their arms, they know they can keep you safe this way - as previously mentioned they do not need to sleep, and as such aren't bothered by you being a restless sleeper or needing to get up, they will most likely 'wake' to see what you are oding - v1 is a very active machine and doesn't really understand naps, but is happy to keep themself quiet if you want to nap nearby

Minos - very much appreciates rest, he finds spending such time together intimate and would gladly lounge away most days - due to his size it’s most likely you will end up either laying on top of him or being cuddled, he would rather avoid the potential of crushing you in his sleep - his favourite sleeping position is front to front, he could spend forever admiring you, and waking up to your face is a sight he will never grow tired of - will playfully tease you if you leave the bed, trying to persuade you to come back to bed or comment on how you interrupted his beauty sleep. he isn't bothered by your activity, but he finds himself missing your warmth - minos is a big appreciator of naps and is more than happy to be used as a cushin. on more than one occasion he has found himself with a novel in hand and you curled up on his lap

When I decided that Minos was going to be a Wyrm early on once I committed myself to doing this, I didn't realize how annoying that would actually be when trying to design the man. The sprites of the Pale King reveal very little of his actual body and very little of the Wyrm's corpse in Kingdom's edge is visible for reference. I like how the Corpse turned out but am still unsure on Minos Prime.

Back to maybe-possible lore things. Gabriel definitely killed and sealed Minos in this AU, the corpse left buried underneath Crystal Peak and the Prime Soul sealed within. I'm still not set on how much Gabriel is involved with the Infection itself if at all.

The Corpse is similar to the Broken Vessel, it's body is being controlled by the Infection.

Minos Prime however would be similar to the dream bosses/the Radiance, he'd only be accessible once the Awoken Dreamnail is obtained.

(ALSO HUGE HUGE HUGE SPOILERS FOR ULTRAKILL. I MEAN IT. DONT READ THIS IF YOU HAVENT FINSIHED THE GAME/READ UP ABOUT THE LORE)

this song reminds me so so so so so so so so much of Gabriel and Minos. I'd like to imagine they were lovers (or friends if you'd like to imagine it like that) while Minos was still the judge of hell. back when heaven didn't turn against Minos for his different beliefs, and everything was just. going normally. but after the fall of heaven and the lust renaissance, Gabriel and Minos were forced to go their separate ways. Gabriel ended up on the """"good"""" side and was brainwashed by it, and Minos was on the """"bad"""" side and was kind of just. left to die by heaven. and when Gabriel was sent to kill him, he didn't really.. have a choice. it was either do or die. do it or turn out like he did.

i imagine at the time he actually, you know, killed him, he wasn't all too upset about it. seeing as he was pretty much brainwashed into believing what he was doing was right. (although, I'm sure deep down he knew what he was doing was not what he wanted to do.) but a little later? that guilt and self loathing started to kick in, and he really regretted killing his former lover/friend.

the "you kept up a good fight" line also really makes me sad, because in the story Minos didn't put up a physical fight, he instead tried to reason with Gabriel, but Gabriel didn't listen. and I feel like that part of it especially gets to him.

"you're the color of the sky/you're the dream I had last night/you're the only reason why I care about anyone anymore" are some more lines that make me wanna die too. because once again, in the story, Gabriel was one of the only angels who actually cared about hell and the ones who resided there, and the fact that he killed the one trying to bring peace and harmony to the place he cared so deeply for because he was forced into believing it was right is so. so incredibly sad. it could've been anyone else? why him? why did it have to be him?

howdy! this might seem like a weird request, but could you write headcanons of all four (if not, gabe and minos) with an s/o who sleeps with a stuffed animal? it could be a comfort item or just a preference. if not thats alright. thanks for your time!

V1 - they would be intrigued more than anything. they would want to hold the stuffed animal, but wouldn't take without your permission - they don't question why you have it, humans are already a little strange to them so this wouldn't weird them out. if anything they understand the appreciation of the natural world, to them the plushie has a similar appeal as art - they would be a bit rough handling it at first, not particularly used to holding something so easily torn. if you ask them to be more gentle with it they would simply cradle it, not trusting the seems and joints of their hands to not rip or catch on the material - they quickly grow to like the stuffed animal, seeking out it's company if you are busy or away. they haven't really figured out to put it away correctly so expect to have to go hunting around your house to retrieve it - they don't really like staying still for long periods of time so they don't have any particular feelings on you sleeping with the plushie, if anything they appreciate that you have something to cuddle (they are aware it's a much more pleasant time to cuddle the toy than themself)

V2 - you wouldn't have to tell them, they would have dropped by your home unannounced and spied it immediately. they would all but launch across the room to pick it up and begin pestering you with questions about it - if we are being honest here they are definitely going to make fun of you for it, at least for a little while. this would quickly become a topic of great humour for them, expect for them to bring it up for weeks to come - that being said, the interrogation would stop if you reacted too negatively. their teasing is for their own amusement and a strange concept of bonding, they oftentimes don't grasp how hurtful their taunting can be. that being said they aren't intending to genuinely hurt you, and they will shut up if they get the sense you aren't enjoying the conversation anymore - the plushie will most likely go missing on occasion, the culprit adamantly denying they had anything to do with it. half of the enjoyment of kidnapping the toy is your pointed questioning about it's location, the other half is seeing where they can hide the toy to give you a plausible chance of finding it without making it easy (they're a genuine menace sometimes) - if you end up sleeping in the same bed they would refuse to have the stuffed animal inbetween the both of you, you can have it on your side but they are adamant that nothing physically separates the both of you (they are an absolute bed hog and despite not needing to sleep they still hang out in bed while you do)

Gabriel - he would notice it's presence fairly quickly and would look at it in his own time. it's likely you would catch him picking it up to inspect, which would finally prompt him to ask you about it - he wouldn't be particularly interested at first, treating it as just another decoration in your room, but over time he would grow to appreciate it. you may find him sitting with it if he's had a particularly bad day - he doesn't like handling the toy himself, fearing he might damage it in some way accidentally. he is very aware of his own strength and is especially cautious around you and your possessions. with enough encouraging he will become more comfortable holding it. the sight of Heaven's mightiest angel sloftly petting a plushie as if it's alive isn't something you will forget any time soon - he doesn't mind if you cuddle with the toy in bed instead of him, he is big enough to hold the both of you at the same time if you wished. he finds that he appreciates having the toy nearby, seeking it out if you are late to bed or are unable to stay the night with him - he may look into getting one for himself. most likely it would be a stuffed cat or a lion and would be fairly big. he would find a simple pleasure in seeing both of your animals sitting next to eachother. if he saw you holding his stuffed animal he would freeze in place, the feeling of his heart warming almost overwhelming

Minos - he would find it absolutely adorable and would tell you so. he doesn't mean this in a patronising way, he just genuinely appreciates that you've found something to comfort yourself with - it's almost comical how small it looks in his hands, and the sight of him holding it so gently warms your heart. he wouldn't handle it without your permission but you may catch him sitting with it by himself. he can't deny it's appeal and definitely compliments you on your choice of animal - he may prompt you with questions of why you have the stuffed animal, but never with the intent of judging you for it, he has definitely seen weirder - he would invite you to bring it with you on dates or when you cuddle. it isn't embarrassing to him, if anything he greatly enjoys the sight of you carrying it around or including it in activities - if you have to leave for any particularly long period of time he would keep he plushie nearby, the sight of it a comforting reminder and imitation of your presence
