Mike's life has never been easy. Mostly, because of his stupid crush. Mike Zacharias was in love with his best friend, Erwin Smith. His whole life. All his life, since childhood, he tried to keep his feelings under control. And, on the one hand, fortunately, every year, it became easier. But on the other hand, every year, Erwin became more attractive and more interesting. Oh, this is not a fair life...

Mike and Erwin went to the same school. Fortunately, Mike was smart enough, to go to another college, away from Erwin. And while one blond was living the life of a typical college student, another blond, already in his second year, found a job in a very prestigious company. Well, to be honest, he didn't quite find this job on his own. Smith was recommended. But still.

And as soon as the young men graduated from college, Erwin, literally, dragged Mike into his company by the ears. In fact, in some way, Mike was even grateful. Just graduated and already has a good job. Oh, isn't that wonderful! He found another reason to admire his friend. Oh, great, Mike, just great! Stupid Erwin, with his stupid beautiful face, stupid perfect body and stupid smart brain... Mike hates him. Oh Gods, Mike wants him, so badly...

The tall blond man always admired his best friend. But he never had the courage to confess his feelings. He tried, it's true! He even picked the perfect moment a couple of times, but... But he never had the strength to look into those deep blue eyes, and he always choked on his own tongue. God, Mike, what a coward you are!

Another day to sneak a peek at a chiseled body. Hmm, why does Erwin go to him so early? Why is he smiling so blissfully? Is he sick? Or is it... Oh his God..! Please, Erwin, tell him what he's so eager to hear. Yes! God, yes! Of course he will marry... Will he be your schafer? At your wedding..? What? At your wedding? Are you marrying? What? How... When Mike went to the ceremony, he set himself up, that he would not openly hate his best friend's wife. After all, Erwin looked so happy when he invited him. Mike took a deep breath, ready to see anyone walking up to the marriage altar. And he saw. You. Mike had to really hold his lower jaw. You... You were.. You're just... His heart, wounded by unrequited love, was beating too fast. The man had to blink a couple of times, to keep his balance. You... Are you a Goddess descended from heaven? You... You're just...You're so gorgeous. No, no, gorgeous, it's too simple, it's not enough to describe you. You... You... You are divine? Oh his God, he can't find the words to describe you. You really look like the most beautiful of Goddesses in this dress. Mike just can't take his eyes off you. You're so beautiful. He's almost afraid to think about, how amazingly you smell. Your smile is so adorable... Wait, why did you walk past him? He's almost already your husb... A. Yeah. Right. You're Erwin's wife, right, yeah... No, wait a minute! It can't be! You! Erwin! Are you both marrying each other? No. Oh, his God, Mike urgently needs to get out. And it's even better, to wash with cold water.

As soon as the official part of the wedding came to an end, Mike shot out to the toilet and locked himself in a stall. There were so many thoughts in his head. His head was so heavy and noisy. The man had to sit down on the toilet, so as not to fall. Mike didn't know what to do. Mike didn't know what to think. The only thing he knew, was that he fell in love with you. He fell in love with you the same way he once fell in love with Erwin, at first sight. God, Mike, no. No, you couldn't fall in love with your unrequited love's wife, no, please, no. Well done, Mike, now you're a doubly bad friend. You can be proud of yourself, Mike. Now you're in love with a married couple. You have a huge crush on both of them. Just great!

When Mike returned to the festivities, he was greeted by the most beautiful eyes in the world. And they looked worried.

Oh, yes, yes, he's fine. Yes, thank you, it is fine. It's just that he had never been to a wedding before, he was a little worried. Oh, yeah, he's Mike. Mike Zacharias. a/n: hi y'all. i never thought i'd be writing for attack on titan again, but here we are lmao. i've been rewatching the series from the beginning, and this is the result of that. anyways, some are more 'x reader' than others, but i hope y'all enjoy it!

— Eren Yeager

When you ask Eren to help you train, this boy gets so smug you can practically see his ego grow three sizes larger. You know you’re probably better off asking someone else who’s better, but you know Eren appreciates it when you go to him. He likes to show off and impress you, so you get more of a show than actual training assistance. Still, you appreciate the effort Eren puts into trying to help you out. Eren falls on his ass more than he likes to admit, making you hide your laughter behind your hand.

— Armin Arlert

Asking Armin to train with you surprises Armin more than anything. Him? You want to train with him?! He immediately rejects your offer, saying he can’t possibly help you with anything that isn’t tutoring. However, you insist upon it, assuring him that you want his help and prefer it over others. The training you guys do isn’t intense; instead, it focuses on the areas you said you needed to improve. Armin always pulls his punches, never wanting to seriously harm you. But if you insist upon it, he will come at you in full force, just not very happily. Afterward, Armin apologizes profusely for possibly hurting you, and you reassure him you’re fine. Expect a flurry of hugs from him and a part of his supper rations, but he denies knowing anything about where your extra food came from.

Mikasa isn’t keen on helping you, viewing you as something that will only slow her down from achieving her goal of being as strong as she can be to protect Eren. It takes you a few minutes to convince her that you won’t get in the way or be a burden, simply wanting to shadow her, spar with her, and pick up any techniques that make her such a good fighter for yourself. Realizing you didn’t want her to teach you, Mikasa accepts your request, warning you that she doesn’t go easy or pull her punches. It’s safe to say that you hurt all over come supper time, wincing from the hard wooden benches in the mess hall.

Similar to Eren, Jean is cocky as hell when you come to him for training help. He doesn’t stop until you threaten to ask Eren instead, which makes him shut up and behave. Jean’s a decent spar partner, so you’re in good hands with him. You’re decently matched against him, winning about half of the rounds and losing the other half by only a second or two. He’s better at the knife-disarming move than you are, though, which he teases you for.

— Marco Bodt

Marco is flattered that you picked him out of everyone else. Being the definition of an average fighter, Marco didn’t think there was anything he could help you with, but he’s ecstatic to spar with you regardless. After all, it’s time Marco gets to spend with you. And if you think he’ll go easy on you because you’re his partner, you’re sorely mistaken. Marco loves you and wants you to be as prepared for the world as possible, seeing no benefit in pulling punches. But that’s not to say he’ll beat you up, obviously. After all, this is only an exercise, so you’re relatively unharmed, ignoring the scattered bruising.

Connie is more than eager to train with you, joking around and laughing the entire time. He knows he should take it more seriously, but Connie can’t help having fun with you instead, completely ignoring the current exercise. He’ll hide behind you and tap your shoulder, waiting for you to turn around before ducking just out of your view. When you finally catch him, you’re dizzy and out of breath from laughing so hard. Your efforts are rewarded with a peppering of kisses all over your face <3

— Sasha Braus

Like Connie, Sasha is just as obnoxious during training but takes it a bit more seriously than he does. If you are serious about training, she’ll do her best to take it seriously with you. She’s not immune to Connie making faces at her from across the field, and frankly—you aren’t either. Typically, if you’re sparing with Sasha, you’ll end up with Connie, too.

— Reiner Braun

Training with Reiner is like training with your long-lost twin. You read one other perfectly, evading and blocking each other’s swings like it’s nothing. You duck underneath his outstretched arm to kick him in the back of his knee, but Reiner is two steps ahead, spinning on his heel to knock your feet out from under you. He expects you to yield, but you don’t give up that easily. Sneaking between his spread legs to pop up from behind, it was your turn to knock him unsteady, twisting his arm behind his back and disarming him of the prop knife he wielded. It goes on like that until the quittin’ bell rings, except the roles reversed themselves every few rounds.

— Bertolt Hoover

Bertolt is still such a sweetheart, even when he’s trying to pin you to the ground. He wants to win, but that doesn’t make his timidness disappear. You win more often than not, but you let him get the better of you sometimes. Watching a blush spread across his face and neck is worth letting him win. His blush worsens when you point it out, too. Still, he likes sparing with you, regardless of how well he does or not.

— Annie Leonheart

Training with Annie is very similar to training with Mikasa. It’s not that Annie believes you’ll hinder her progress; it’s because she’s simply not good with people. Annie knows you can hold your own against tough opponents; she’s seen you go against people like Reiner and Eren and win. The best way to put it is that she feels awkward, not knowing how to help you or what she should say. You’re the only one able to render Annie speechless, a talent that immediately raises you above the rest in her eyes.

— Porco Galliard

If you want to spar with Porco, you better be prepared to have your ass beat into next week. He’s out to prove he’s the best, and not even you can get in his way. He’s stubborn and afflicted with tunnel vision, blinding him from remembering how talented you are at it, too. Porco’s favorite move is pinning you on your stomach, twisting your wrist until you forfeit your prop weapon of choice. He’s stupidly cocky about it, too, straddling your hips and spouting snark while your face is shoved in the dirt. You may be talented at that day’s exercise, but somehow, Porco always has the upper hand, no doubt due to his Shifter abilities giving him heightened agility and reflexes. He’s always stupidly proud of himself afterward, bragging to his friends about how many times he’d pinned you. It earns him a sharp flick on his forehead from you.

You must be a glutton for punishment if you seek out Levi as a sparing partner. His version of training isn’t just sparring, oh no, no. First, he has you running laps around the courtyard for at least thirty minutes. And if he catches you jogging, he adds another ten minutes. You wanted the best, so you’ll have to endure everything he throws at you to get it. Next is calisthenics. Push-ups, thirty-second planks, burpees, sit-ups, dips, and wall sits are the bane of your existence for the next hour and a half. By now, your entire body aches, and your legs are shaky and exhausted. Levi gives you a break, allowing you to drink nearly your weight in water and grab a quick snack before his torture resumes. He gives you enough time to ensure you don’t vomit, but finally, it’s time for sparring once you’ve finished your snack break. Once he deems training to be done for the day, you ask him why he put you through such an intense workout just to spar. Levi’s reasoning? If your body was tired, you’d fight better. If you’re exhausted, you’ll seek out more ways to end the fight quicker and discover new techniques as you go. If you get frustrated enough after losing to him so many times, combined with your body’s exhaustion, you’d eventually find a hole in Levi’s attack and utilize it.

Training with Erwin isn’t much different than training on your own. He acts professionally throughout the exercise, seeing it as nothing to take lightly. Erwin doesn’t go easy on you, but he does pull his punches, not eager to send you to the infirmary just because of sparring practice.

Believe it or not, Mike is like a combination of Levi and Connie. Training with him will last hours, but he’s having fun with you while he does it. Mike is quick on his feet, darting this way and that, always out of reach. It’s almost like a dance you’re engaged in. Every time you miss, he’ll pop a teasing joke as if he’s goading you into catching him. When you think you’ve cornered him, Mike’ll knock your legs out from underneath you, claiming the win for himself. He’ll help you back up and reset the round, giving the prop weapon to you this time.

Erwin would say "Kneel," and before his lips would even close you'd be on your knees, hands politely on your thighs, eyes on him.

Levi would say "Kneel," and you'd quite proudly respond with, "You first," and that'd rightfully earn you his heel stabbing into the crook of your knee and forcing you to the ground, where you're pinned in place by his foot on your calf and his hand in your hair. He'll be quick about wiping that smirk off your face.

Miche would be disinterested. Putting any notion of kneeling aside, he'd just sweep you up in his arms and hold you close against his chest, finding it much easier to kiss you like this than if you had been on the floor.

AOT characters relationships with you.....

Levi Ackerman

At first your relationship with Levi wasn't good at all. You thought he's an arrogant bastard and he thought you're a lazy assed useless doctor who won't survive even a second on the battlefield. He got more pissed on you because he was ordered to train a fragile person like you and had to turn you into a soldier.

On the other hand, you used to get so pissed with him because he was a strict and harsh trainer. Also not to mention he used to insult you as often as he could. You almost shouted at him every day. But little did none of you two know, Levi liked it when you would get angry at him and you really liked shouting at him.

Slowly but surely, you two started to get close. You started to heal his mental and physical wounds, he focused on making you stronger. Not to mention he never hesitated to let anyone know that he was your protector and he would show no mercy to anyone or anything which will try to hurt you in any way.

But with you he was soft. He would cry on your shoulder, reveal his real feelings to you. You helped him to get out of his childhood trauma, showed him how amazing love and physical affection is.... You made him love you so hard that getting worried if losing you, he dragged your ass to the church and married you just when he got the chance. And thus you two become the ideal couple of the survey corps.

Hange Zoe

She's your best friend in the survey corps. Also not to mention you two spend the most time together. You two are like sisters to each other, you pulling her to shower she's pulling you out of your bed in the morning. Though there's a lot of difference between you two.... You two never fail to get along.

Also, she's the main supporting character in your relationship with Levi. Also the main teaser too!

Erwin Smith

Your relationship with him is formal but you two both respect each other. You slowly but surely get his trust and he started to trust you so much that he never imagined making you a pawn of his bet. Also you both support each other mentally if you two get the chance. Like he would console you if you wouldn't be able to save a soldier's life and you would console him if one of his plans would accidentally fail.

Special Operation Squad members

Since you were a member of this squad too and you spent most of your time with them, your relationship with them was pretty friendly. Especially with Petra, you cared for her like she was your little sister. Also you and Oluo would try to mimic Levi together, have fun chatting with Eld and Gunther. They even forced you to meet their family... That's how close you were with them. You were the breath of fresh air and happiness in the squad.

Mike Zacharias

Your relationship with him was just how two colleagues relationship should be. You two would meet often and talk about the normal things out of formality. Also you liked how amazing his smelling ability was, it always amused you.

Eren, Mikasa and Armin

You always cared for them as you little siblings. Especially Armin, who likes to read books just like you. You would chat with him for hours about your favourite books and not to mention support his amazing ideas and encourage him since he was so insecure about himself.

Eren and you had spent enough quality time together. He was so scared of Levi and you would try to reassure him as you would laugh seeing his scared expressions. Also most of the time you two would talk about the titan abilities and you would try to find out how many similarities titans and humans had until it was discovered that titans are actually humans.

Mikasa and you never really spend that much time together.... But you always respected her for her strength and protectiveness and she loved you for always saving Eren's ass from Levi.

Jean Connie and Sasha

Just like the previous trio, you cared for these three the same. Especially Sasha, you probably cared for her the most. You find her always the cutest and the most adorable. You litarery cared for her so much that you sometimes gave her the opportunity to sneak in the kitchen to steal food. Also you loved cooking for her and enjoyed seeing how happily she ate them.

As for Jean and Connie, you would always enjoy their jokes and stupidity. You would sometimes joke with them too to reduce some weight from your shoulder. They were a refreshment for you from the cruel life of the survey corps.

Historia Reiss

You always felt pity for her. You didn't know her until her true identity was revealed. After she became queen and started to work for the homeless-unwanted children, you helped her to run the orphanage and to manage the kids. You were with her during her pregnancy period and helped her to give birth.
