Realistically, because megalodon targeted large, energy-dense prey, it probably only needed to hunt once every one to two weeks. The rest of the time it would have just been, like, chilling, 9 days out of 10. And I think that's pretty neat.

A new study shows the Megalodon, a gigantic shark that went extinct 3.6 million years ago, was more slender than earlier studies suggested. This finding changes scientists' understanding of Megalodon behavior, ancient ocean life, and why the sharks went extinct. The Megalodon or megatooth shark is typically portrayed as a super-sized monster in popular culture, with recent examples in the sci-fi films "The Meg" (2018) and "Meg 2: The Trench" (2023). Previous studies assume that the shark likely reached lengths of at least 50 feet and possibly as much as 65 feet.

Eastern Orthodox Shark Week.

JOKE-OGRAPHY: This comic features a famous episode from the Bible where Jesus walks on water to get to His disciples' boat, which is stuck in a storm.  In this cartoon, however, Jesus is accompanied by a new disciple, a megalodon (giant shark) named Mary.  He calls her "Mary Megalodon," which sounds like "Mary Magdalene," another of Jesus's loyal disciples (the woman who's stowed away in the last panel).  Mary Megalodon is not actually in the canonical books of the Bible.

That post was long enough so I'll have to answer this in a new one! See unfortunately megasharchompulus can't be considered a proper dinosaru because biologically speaking dinouiesors are defined as lizards who are always dead, whereas megadondulomb is a kind of lizard called a shark, and it is very much alive!!! How do we know this???

well first of all the queen of the ocean (final authority on all underwater lizards) met a little baby one and asked him if his mom was still alive and he said yeah he's pretty sure! That wasn't a definitive answer of course but it was a start!

So one day the president of science decided we should find out what's inside of whales and it turned out when you look at a whale's skeleton it's supposed to have big, giant hands!!!

but wait a minute!!! if you look CLOSELY at the arm of any whale in any river in all of America you'll notice that most of its big giant hand has been bitten off! Everyone knows that the Whale (whaleus whaleus) is the single biggest fish invented in the tri-state area and there's really only so many things that can bite a hand that big .......
