Dear Mayu,

There never seems to be enough time for me to sit down and write to you. Today, however, is an exception. I will say that it almost feels unnatural, sitting at my desk to write a letter without any work to be done, even if only temporarily so. However, at the same time, knowing you’ll read this is almost soothing.

My work in Dragonspine continues as usual, and so does it’s unforgiving cold. While I’m usually able to ignore it, it feels different this time around. While not literally the case, I can’t help thinking as if the nights get colder without you around. In your company, I never seem to lack warmth.

Once I catch my next break, I intend to spend it with you. How does that sound? Your peaceful, comforting precense is much needed after all this time.

Because even if I remove all the most troublesome duties from my schedule, I never seem to fully be able to clear it; there are simply too many things for me to get done. I am also acutely aware of the fact I haven’t been spending as much time with you because of this.

As a way to make up for it, would you allow me the pleasure of accompanying you to dinner? Don’t worry, it won’t take long, and you can leave all the planning to me.

The Secret Forest Friends written by Kyoko Hara with art by Kazue Takahashi is an easy, charming, and magical read.

It is summer and second grader Mayu comes to stay with her grandparents who live near the forest. She is excited to see them and to explore nature. However, she is especially happy to reunite with her friend Konta the Fox. The two have been secretly exchanging letters with the help of Ms. Bird (an actual bird) who happily delivers Mayu’s letters to Konta’s forest mailbox. Once reunited, the children spend their days exploring. One day while Mayu and Konta are in the forest, Mayu loses her sandal. It’s up to Konta to venture out into the human world and save the day!

This is a lovely book! The storyline is simple and easy-to-follow. I definitely appreciate the timeless themes of friendship, building positive relationships with older members of the family, and appreciating nature. But, I think that this book is meant for older readers as there is too much to hold young kids’ attention. There are several characters and, although there are many illustrations, there is a fair amount of text.

I love the book’s gentle magic and charm. I especially love the focus on letter-writing. This is such a lost and beautiful art! I wish I had a secret fox penpal! I love seeing the depictions of the actual letters as well as the cute different stationeries and handwriting. I am also utterly charmed by Konta’s mailbox in the middle of the forest as well as kind Ms. Bird playing postlady for the kids.

Mayu and Konta’s lovely friendship is relatable and supportive. It’s sweet that Mayu saves her favorite old hat for Konta. I love that Konta doesn’t hesitate to help Mayu when she needs him. I also enjoyed the loving relationship between Mayu and her grandparents, especially the positive and supportive interactions between her and Grandpa.

Takahashi’s delightful illustrations are simple but effective. I like that there are both colourful and grayscale pictures as this variation adds fun and whimsy. Almost every page has an adorable little depiction. I particularly like the colorful rendition of Mayu getting a piggyback ride from Grandpa while Konta cheers as well as the gentle grayscale nature scene of the kids enjoying each other’s company. Konta with his little satchel and new hat is just darling!

Like what if y/n got pregnant ? And then died from giving birth? Or died from his harsh punishments ? What would the viscount reaction be?

Hmmmmm this is very specific, the viscount is a very meticulous man, he cares a lot about the details and makes sure to have everything happen the way he wants it to. He would make sure beforehand that Reader knows and has actually given up everything to him, and if it was on accident the sigil is probably used often to make sure the reader doesn't do anything "dumb" to put her or the baby at risk. No huge harsh punishments would be given to the reader if she did something wrong, but isn't like she could also act out more when the guy has her whole freedom in his hands with that sigil on the first place.

Now if it is death by giving birth... the Viscount would be furious if anything but he would not give up just like that. He would research ways to get you back from the dead. The world knows magic and curses it wouldn't be far for the world to have one or two ways to bring a dead person back to life... or trap a ghost... they do say that those who suffered so much would come back as a ghost. Viscount would be furious, but when he catches you it is game over again. He would baby you, but you know that now there is even less of a chance you would ever leave his arms ever again.

Your voice was dry as you called out to Thoma. Thoma dropped whatever he was carrying and just ran to you with tears in his eyes unable to believe that his little sister was awake. Thoma grabbed your cheeks wondering if you were really... actually awake... so many days did he watch you sound asleep hoping that you would open your eyes even once fearing that if he took his eyes off you for one second you will be gone.

You have received so many hugs, so many times did you watch your older step-brothers cry and so many times did you watch yourself cry. You missed their hugs, this feeling of warmth was something you didn't think you would miss so much.

Now would that change the relationship between your father and the brothers to be really fair... not really... so many things have been said that it would just be so hard to mend unless both sides put their pride down which would be so difficult for most of the brothers when some didn't even look at your father favorably from the beginning. Nor for the younger ones too if they were easily influenced by their older brothers' anger, but again it depends and maybe they would be more forgiving if not that maybe they choose to ignore the whole situation because what they care more about isn't your father but you.

They would act as of they were fine, that there was nothing wrong between the family but maybe when you grow up you would realize how much both sides sacrificed for you. Your brothers but also your father in their own ways. Your father would not push them away from you, not when he saw how much you cared for your brothers, and if there was a chance that he and their mother just could not be together anymore in the future nothing would change between you and those brothers.

As he watched you and Itto talk about something about his school holding a festival and that Itto would be bringing you many souvenirs your father could not help but feel a little bit bitter...

Mayu, imagine. The dollhouse au, but as an analog horror. Like, there are video recordings of her as a child like sweet VHS memory tapes. Then the more dolls she gets, the more eerie and sinister the tapes become with some dolls blatantly moving (or making things move every time MC gets upset) amidst glitches just to taunt the one behind the camera. Then, somewhere down the line, a journalist specializing in debunking horror stories investigates the mysterious deaths of MC's parents (maybe they snapped and almost killed MC in hysteria but the dolls killed them first and made it look like a mutual homicide or double suicide). She does not talk anymore after the supposed accident unless her dolls are present. Then, the journalist finds the tapes and he thought MC had something to do with the murder. It ends with small menacing eyes in the darkness under the journalist's bed and in his closet.

I loved this brainrot sooo much starlight anon TvT, it is very veryyy creepy and kinda feel sorry for the guy lol.

Poor guy really, he will be dead the next day. When the police tried to figure out what happened they could see signs of struggle, and his table was messy as if where things have been stolen, they were. The tapes that the journalist has been curious about had all been stolen and any information on them had been searched and taken. And the thief left no trace almost as if everything had been done by the wind.

The fear on the dead man's face was now gone, replaced into one of that is peacefully sleeping. But his close ones still remember the look of horror on the journalist's face that even when he was dead, his body lifeless and his heart stopped his eyes looked like it was still full of life in fear of what was once in front of him.

Also had another idea for dollhouse au. MC gets sick, like really very sick. At first, the symptoms were harmless but got worse and worse until she got hospitalized. It got so bad that she spent a few of her earlier years there. The dolls were all present in her room. Then, she was given a choice for a risky surgery wherein the dolls told her to accept. After said surgery, she starts getting better and better as if life was being pumped back into her. Unbeknownst to her, a young child around the same age as MC suddenly collapsed in the hospital due to an aneurysm and died on the day MC was released from the hospital. (The dolls were draining the other kid's life force and feeding them to MC.)

Well but here is the thing... it is the point of needing an investigation really. When the nurse who was supposed to head to the girl next to your room suddenly scream. It was a dry corpse that was left there a small body all dried with not a single bit of blood left. Her hands cold and her heart lifeless, her life taken away in the night without a hint of sound. The police looked through the CCTV searching for that criminal who took the life of an innocent child yet they saw nobody... nothing went into that room.

They found nothing.

They asked you for questions, a small girl who was the same age as the victim they could not help but worry that maybe you were next after all how could a small child like you take out all the blood and organs from another child's body yet leave not cuts or stitches? Yet they saw your skin, healthy and your eyes bright as you try to get out of bed as if you never have been sick. Strange... unnerving... one of the police a young one had a thought that you be a vampire. But that can't be true...

Yet another police could not help but stare at the dolls but your bedside fear overcame him.

Imagine in the orphanage au genshin impact, the reader get a visit from their friend and it causes envy and jealousy bcs it steals away most of their attention on the characters so they cause trouble so that the reader pays attention to them

This is related to this (orphanage sagau au) for those who don't know so if you want to understand this post you kinda have to read this.

You were always busy with the kids who almost always kept you busy. And maybe cause of it you started to neglect your social life a little, you were the only one who works here after all.

Your friends are all understanding, it was sudden and life can be like that. They were friends you cherished and you were delighted when one of your friends started to visit as often as possible whenever they could.

They would love to help you with the children, help you take them to sleep or play with them while you were busy with other things, the kids just absolutely hate to play with anyone that isn't you. While not mean to your friends since they didn't necessarily do anything wrong even if all the characters are just jealous of the fact that person knew you longer than them... they just can't help but ignore that person.

But they leave that person in peace and when they take a little more attention than they would like they would just simply bother you, dragging you away from them. You already had a bit of time with them now it was their turn!!

But the trouble it would bring if your other friends didn't understand the atmosphere around the children or if the kids didn't like someone.

That one friend who tried to pinch everyone's cheeks at least once got chomped by some of the kids. (Itto, Razor, Gorou... and surprisingly Xiao) You force the kids who did so to a corner as punishment telling them not to do that again only for that to happen again.

That one person who keeps on asking you to hang out with them even after you told them you were busy. (They mean well all they want was to hang out with you... they are just dense...) Sometimes, one of the kids sneakily answers the phone call instead of you (probably Hutao and the more cheeky ones.) The kid would then proceed to talk about the most random things on the call and when your friend would ask them to hand the phone to you, they could just hear that small smug laugh that kid. "No." *Click* *Beeeep*

They ended the call...

Then there is that friend who just wants to hang out with you, to the point that they would show up at the orphanage just to drag you away telling you that you just have not spent enough time with them and that it needs to be fixed. And when you deny them they would ask if the kids are more important than them or if your friendship means nothing to you. You would hesitate, telling them it was not that but that you were just busy.

It is sad really that the children all heard that... well a few did and they choose to tell everyone about it and if you knew you would have told them never to come to the orphanage.

Your friend was stubborn or maybe a little spoiled? They just want to hang out with you so when you are just so stubborn to them, they choose to just stay in your orphanage and pout.

Dear the moment they went to the bathroom when they washed their hands only for them to get electrocuted by the water shocking them and when they tried to remove their hand from the water trying to take the step back. Only to slip and fall on their butt, they should be glad that they didn't hit their head but they didn't remember the floor being wet? they looked at the floor... it wasn't wet yet when they saw their foot it was trapped in... ice?

They tried to call you, yelling your name but you were outside as some of the louder children called you to play with you. Their screams and laughter made you unable to hear your friend's cries.

The next thing was when Razor took their phone running toward Lisa and Yae Miko who opened the camera and started taking selfies together. Kaeya soon joined dragging Diluc and Thoma with him, while Yae Miko pulled Ayato and Ayaka to the selfie session. They even managed to get Shenhe, Albedo and Sucrose in it as they pose. When you found out about the selfies you begged your friend to send them to you before deleting like how could these children be so cute?? how could you delete such a precious picture!

Well, when your friend finally was able to get out of that little problem. Annoyed and angry they searched for their phone yet just could not find it anywhere...? Till they saw their phone with Hu Tao.

They demand to have their phone back to annoyed to act nice towards a child. Hu Tao smiled at them and instead of giving it to them she joked around annoying them even more and when they tried to grab it from the girl Hutao tossed the phone backward your friends gasped in fear as the phone flew high into the air scared that when it lands on the floor it would break.

Only that Kazuha caught it.

They sighed in relief and then smiled at the small boy asking for their phone this time in a much nicer voice. But it was all for not when Kazuha tilted to one side as he threw their phone above them, your friend looked back to see that a girl with blue hair caught it. Beidou was quick to yell at her with a grin on her face to throw the phone at her. When Ganyu saw them slowly walk towards her, she threw the phone to Beidou who just grinned and toss the phone to Eula when your friend got close to grabbing it.

Eula tossed the phone to Mona who tossed it to Rosaria who again tossed it to Kazuha. Your friend just trying to get their phone back. they continued this till your friend screamed at them to just stop and that they were just the worst!!

"Here then. Why dont you take it?" Rosaria was holding the phone showing it to your friend who simply huffed and walked over to her...

only to trip.

Your friend didn't know who it was that tripped them but it was then when you joined the room, a smile on your face when you saw all of the kids smiling and your friend on the floor.

When you asked what happened their smiles changed to that of an innocent angel. "Nothing that would trouble you." Kazuha told you, while Mona nodded "We were just playing with your friend!" When you saw Ganyu's hesitant nod you choose to believe them.

They are nice kids after all.

After reading the 2nd part on Stepbrother au angst I feel like I want the reader death like after reader's father and their mother divorce the mother give them 3 days to pack their stuffs. The brothers on the other hand are trying to make the two of their parents to work so their baby sis can stay with them but nothing works and Albedo just tell them that all of them should give up and let the remaining days before their baby sis go is to spend it on her and accept it that their plans will never work. Before the last day of reader staying on their mansion they just died like they stop breathing they died when everyone is sleeping. When the morning came Thoma cook everyone's favourite food to lightened the mood and then ask xiao to bring reader's food and feed them their but when Xiao tries to wake them up they don't wake up like he is shaking his baby sister just to wake up with full anxiety and when he put his ears on his baby sister's chest there is no sign of beating or breathing so he rushed to Zhongli and told him everything.

You are pulling my heartstrings here;-; what did the characters do to disserve this pain!! /j

3 days that was all the time they were allowed with you, as your father started to pack your stuff, getting ready to move out of the place.

How sad that it wasn't only you that was moving out, there was a stinging pain on one side of Childe's cheek as his mother screamed at him to get out of the house that he isn't welcomed here. The screams of the brother's mother were loud as she complained... regretted why she ever took take of Childe instead of sending him with his father.

Heartless she called him.

The screaming was loud that even when Albedo who was in your room watching over you could hear it, "What is happening?" "Nothing, just rest sis." You smiled as he started to stroke your head "When I get well I wanna play with you and brothers! I wanna go see Klee again and then later I wanna play with brother Xiao with his games. I wanna go to the park with you and brother Zhongli and a whole lot more!" Your voice was painful as you pushed yourself to tell Albedo what you wanted to do. Words cannot explain how much I love LOVE your Neuvillette arranged marriage fic... When I first came across it, I instantly fell in love with it. It was such a wonderful work. I rarely came across any Neuvillette fic but that THAT was something else. I still can't get over it to this day. The softness of his words and actions, his desperation everything was on point. And if I may.... Can I please request another Neuvillette fic?
