|| an - hello!! this is my first post so pls be nice because i am terrified of posting this lmfao. very clearly inspired by the fact that i am currently high as a kite and these are just my cheeky little delulu ramblings 😭 This is obviously very self indulgent because all i can every think about doing while high is these kinds of scenarios 😮‍💨
pls enjoy!!

Lately I’ve been thinking about smoking with my faves- or even just getting high with them in general. Whether it be edibles, smoking joints, or smoking cones.
But to be very specific, instead of having edibles or smoking a joint, you two are sharing a bong. Short, but slender, the perfect little “pocket rocket” as you liked to call it. Perfect for travelling, and for moments like these, so he doesn’t burn himself too easily.
He’s got you straddling his lap, one of your hands holding the bong up to your lips and the other resting just atop his wrist, holding him still. One of his own hands held the lighter to the cone piece, allowing you to take the deep inhale, while the other made sure to keep your loose hair pushed back with two fingers, almost cupping your face in the process. He could feel the heat from the lighter on the thin skin of his wrist, but he paid no mind to it, instead watching the way the thick white smoke filled the chamber. You almost finished the entirety of the pull but had to pull back just towards the end, eyes closed and head quickly throwing back. Thick, rolling ‘o’ shaped puffs of smoke were blown from your mouth, and he watched them rise up, rolling for a good few seconds before they slowly dispersed.
“Ooh, nice ones, baby. Think they’re the best ones you’ve done so far.” He praised, moving the hand from your hair down your neck, running it gently along your torso and hip, until letting it come to rest on your thigh to keep you steady. Which turned out to be a good move, because a few seconds later you moved the hand from his wrist, tucking your mouth into your elbow and coughing. He chuckled, shaking his head and taking the bong from you, setting it to the side and raising his hand to carefully help rub over your chest to try and soothe the burning feeling with his warm palm. The coughing fit lasts for a few seconds, before you can finally relax, letting out a shaky sigh. You opened your eyes, little tears from how rough the fit was wetting the corner of your bloodshot eyes, and a sheepish little smile pulling your lips upwards. He laughed and just how high you actually looked.
“Oh honey.” He cooed, reaching for the little bottle of water he’d kept by his side just in case. He slipped it into your hands, and you thanked him sweetly, unscrewing the cap and taking a sip. He watched your throat bob ever so slightly as you swallowed the water, and he hummed out a lazy “no worries” in response. He watched you fully relax again, screwing the cap back on and setting it back down and your sides.
“Y’feelin’ better now?” He cooed, his hand sliding down the centre of your chest, making your cheeks flush at the intimate touch, and smoothing it down your stomach, your muscles twitching a little at the almost ghostly touches. You weren’t ticklish, but that particular spot, just above your pubic bone, the soft pudge of your stomach was sensitive to his touch. He enjoyed the feeling of the flesh subtly twitch under the palm of his hand, and it always made your breath shudder at the same time.
“Y-Yeah. I’m good.” You breathed, just watching his eyes take in your slightly dopey expression. He chuckled, carefully grabbing your jaw and pulling your face forward towards his own. You angled yourself down so he could connect your lips in a sweet kiss. You cooed against his lips, your hands gently cupping the sides of his neck to keep him close to you. A few soft kisses ended up turning into a slow make out session, your arms thrown around his neck, a hand carefully tangled into the roots of his hair at the back of his neck, nails scratching nicely along his scalp, while his hands rest on your ass, squeezing and very occasionally smacking the thinly covered flesh over your little pyjama shorts. His tongue lapped slowly at yours before carefully pulling it into his own mouth, giving it a little suckle that made you whimper against his lips. He returned it with a chuckle, letting your tongue go after one last gentle lick of his own against the tip, and you pulled back for air, panting. He reached up, using the palm of his hand to carefully swipe away some combined spit that had dribbled from the corner of your mouth. He looked cocky- he always looked cocky when you were like this, flustered and needy, just for him. It meant he could play with you just how he liked, and hell, you were not complaining. Sometimes he would lay you on your back, head between your thighs and licking and sucking you like you were the sweetest treat on earth, your sensitive body writhing under his ministrations while he had his fill. Or he’d have you on your hands and knees, face pushed into the pillows and your back arched, kneeling behind you and fucking you absolutely dumb until you had forgotten your own name, and could only recite his like a mantra. And you loved every single second of it.
But as you whined when he didn’t move for a moment, he simply reached over for the bong, plucking it back up once again and carefully tucking it into your hand again, and snatching up the lighter off the couch cushion. He smirked at your slightly surprised expression.
“Aren’t you gonna have any, baby?” You questioned softly. He hushed you, watching you slot your lips into the glass, and sparked the lighter up again, watching you once again inhale, the smoke rising quickly into your mouth, and into your lungs.
“‘s fine, I’ll have some after you finish yours, pretty. Just thought you could use a top-up.” He taunted, eyes half lidded and seductive. You pulled the remainder of the cone with relative ease, pulling back from the bong and once again leaning down, holding the smoke in your mouth, until you were close enough to softly blow it onto his face. He wanted to tease, so could you. He let out a sound between a sneer and a purr, quickly nearing his lips to yours as he inhaled the smoke you blew into his face.
“Little minx.” He growled, smacking your ass again, making you jump, then giggle, blowing him a kiss.
Yeah. 😩

I was working on the requests but I remembered a conversation I had with my sister the other day about an interesting topic,
How Nakaba WASTED THE GOLDEN OPORTUNITY of using Morgana Le Fay as the VILLAIN of 4kota(Even if it's cliché)
and it could have been implemented much earlier!! After all, in the Arthurian legends, Morgana is Arthur's half-sister, she could have participated in NNT as an ally who little by little went to the dark side (like Cassandra from Tangled but without a happy ending).
Imagine this, Morgana was just born to Uther Pendragon, having a great ability for magic, but he decided that she could not inherit his throne for x or y reason (being a woman, some profession, being a daughter out of wedlock) and sent her away to Avalon, where She lives her entire life away from her father's influence, but with great resentment towards him for having pushed her away (maybe even killing her mother too?) so she hones her magic with the fairies and wizards of Avalon.
So time passes and Morgana becomes a very strong magician, but she learns from others that her younger half-brother, Arthur, has just pulled the sword from the stone, and that he will be crowned king of Camelot.
NOW, Morgana would like to believe that her hatred is only reserved for Uther, so she goes to Camelot as soon as possible and the whole way she doesn't stop thinking about all this: how long has it been since she went to Camelot? What is her younger brother like? Is he like his-their- father? Although in general I think that Morgana did not want Arthur to be alone running the kingdom, whatever it was, he was her brother after all.
I think Arthur wouldn't even know he had a sister until shortly before Morgana arrived, like "oh by the way, your sister is coming to visit, your half-sister from the king" and Arthur would obviously be nervous about Morgana rejecting him but VERY EXCITED once he hears that she is a powerful mage.
And when do they meet? It's like putting a black cat with an orange cat, but surprisingly they would get along, at first.
Arthur would take Morgana as an advisory figure as she was more in contact with the political environment and helped him adapt to the royal environment, they shared tricks for fights, etc. Everything seems to be going smoothly, they both get along well.
Arthur has a STABLE and loving figure who is willing to teach him and be a family figure at the same time. and Morgana has someone who listens to her and makes her feel important.
but during the series the problems begin.
As the series progresses and Arthur becomes stronger and more mature, Morgana feels that the hatred she had towards Uther is no longer enough, as she begins to doubt whether or not she should love Arthur as HE is her replacement for a "proper heir", yes, she knows that's fucked up to think like that, but on the other hand, is it really wrong if it's your birthright?
and Morgana may have had these moments of weakness where she questioned her recently found platonic love for Arthur and her former bitterness with the Pendragons, having her ups and downs.
She loves Arthur, but she's also very recent about what her father did, and she's trying SO hard not to let it affect him.
But that's not the only thing that pushes her to the limit.
Let's say when the holy war begins, Morgana has a thousand and one doubts about her place in the world and then Arthur DIES.
and what's worse! When he revives, she realizes what Merlin wants to do with him.
(It would be especially horrible if Morgana and Merlin end up having a relationship as friends or as a pupil and teacher themselves).
Morgana pleads, BEGGS, Arthur not to trust what Merlin tells him, that what she wants him to do will not be for the greater good, but for her own benefit and Arthur is confused.
On one hand he wants to believe that after everything he's been through with Morgana she wouldn't lie to him, but Merlin is the closest thing he has to a mother...and the baby is very confused about what to do.
and here two possible endings and how Morgana reappeared in 4Kota:
1- STICKED TO THE CANON:
Arthur ends up bringing chaos, realizing that Morgana was telling the truth, Camelot is destroyed (maybe even Avalon too?) and that makes Morgana lose faith in wanting to help Arthur and the deadly sins, since THEY were the ones who brought that destruction to HIS HOME, and decides to do what has to be done.
which means that a plot begins against the Monarchies, especially against Liones and the Demonic kingdom, seeing them as the main causes of the destruction of Camelot (Meliodas and Zeldris), at the same time that he would try by all means to usurp Arthur's throne. . Even if he tries to make her reconsider.
(good alternative, Sunshine Arthur with wife Guinevere but that has some congruence in the canonical story, but I have a better one:)
2: FUCK THE CANON
Morgana applies a Cassandra from Tangled and obtains chaos instead of Arthur, becoming an antagonist who, although she helps defeat the demon king and so on, at the end of the conflict becomes a full-fledged villain.
having been devalued and pushed aside her entire life NOW even by her brother, and finally having the power to have what rightfully belongs to her makes Morgana very power-hungry. At the same time, Arthur would be having a lot of regret for not having believed his sister at the time and wants to redeem her, but it is difficult when Morgana begins her sale to all those who do not follow her to her "new Camelot."
Arthur here would not have Chaos but he would have Escalibur, which would be his advantage against Morgana in a certain way. although she is working on a "bastard sword" to change that.
Arthur is still a cinnamon roll, only with trauma and above all WITHOUT THE CHAOS, so he thinks things through better and is not corrupted.
Morgana, on the other hand, suffers a great mental decline due to Chaos, but she disguises it under the face of a smiling Queen.
Can you imagine if she created a Mordred from Chaos? ☠️ she says he is her son but trains him so that he can face Arthur and win the crown for her (because Morgana knows she couldn't handle all the allies Arthur has in this reality).
or she just wants to make Mordred do her dirty work because deep down she still loves his little brother...
(it would be especially creepy if said Mordred is similar in appearance to both her and Arthur ☠️ as if she wants a child, but also a version of Arthur that if he had listened to her and joined her...)
anyway...what do you think?
Tumblr media
regardless of that, FUCK YOU NAKABAAAAAA!!

a quick psa on accents in nnt
we were robbed of the seven deadly sins having british/irish accents in the english dub. bloody series is set in BRITANNIA and some dude must have been like “how many of the same american accent can we possibly use”???? ok so here are my accent hcs bc this feels unfair
meliodas: i feel like the abridged series nails what he should have sounded like… irish meliodas all the way. zeldris is irish as well. is the holy war a bad metaphor for brexit????? who knows. some of the demons are definitely french  though, like derieri and monspeet? they are french change my mind. is the demon race the eu? are the seven deadly sins the uk? do i have that gay urge to make a 4 hour youtube video about this??? is meliodas breaking away from the demons a really bad metaphor for the troubles???? is nakaba really thinking that hard about this? who knows. bloody hell this is giving me a headache.
diane: i don’t know where in the uk the giants would live. i could imagine her having some form of a midlands accent, like birmingham maybe?
ban: i think he has a northern accent. i’m not sure where ravens is meant to be but like… somewhere in yorkshire? i can imagine him with a yorkshire accent
king: the fairy kings forest is definitely somewhere in scotland. yeah he’s giving scottish, like stereotypical scottish accent. so is elaine.
gowther: oh for sure he has the specific accent that the monarchy has and for sure the others do impersonations of him
merlin: i’ll say it again. SHES WELSH. her original name in nakabas sketches was myrddin!! AND i love the implication that no one can pronounce her real name because it’s in welsh, not because of the “no human can possibly pronounce it” bullshit because most people in the series have a fuck all grasp how to pronounce anything in welsh.
escanor: he’s also from the north like ban, but probably has a less strong accent though
elizabeth: for all the people from liones, they are pretty much canonically scottish considering liones is in scotland, i’m not sure about the specifics of her/ the royal family’s accents though
if you want me to i’ll do the 10 commandments + the goddess clan + other characters eventually
well this was a fucking ride yall any suggestions would be great. i wrote this at 3am :)

Thing in my drafts I found inspired by a conversation between me and @librathefangirl about intercultural communication in nnt. Original post:
Another interesting thing to play into is how they view skills and hobbies is the goddess / demon culture shock they must experience in the human world. Elizabeth and Meliodas might have totally outside-the-box-ways of solving complex issues that humans can't imagine because well, in their realms, different things are possible. People they've encountered may consider them airheaded for things that any demon or goddess may conclude.
This phemonemon would happen to fairies and giants too, but demons and goddesses have always had a much more complicated view of humans due to their respective cultures. And vice versa. Fairies were straight up gone (?) from the Britannia dimension for centuries, while the giants mainly maintained a buisness relationship with humans. Of the races, therefore, I would say humans would have the best general understanding of giant culture. They know the least about fairies, and their understanding of goddess and demon culture equally sucks due to propoganda and the war.
Some example ideas!
Elizabeth doesn't know how human city planning works and can name maybe sixteen human colors. Five of these, she's told, do not exist. In her human lives she's been fascinated with both architecture and abstract art, and enjoyed hobbies involving both. The notion that someone would commit tax fraud is something she cannot wrap her mind around. Paperwork in the celestial realm is hella efficient. But POLITICAL fraud / detail oriented drama happens all the time and she knows 73 ways to shut it down quickly. More than half of these would result in the offender being openly shunned / banished by goddess politicians and she is not able to replicate them in human society.
Meliodas knows exactly what the mantis shrimp colors Elizabeth identifies are called, but only in demon. He thinks not being able to understand the “more intelligent” Britannia animals is a skill issue on his part. He has spent several centuries trying to get horses to respond to him the way dragons have in the past (that one scene from the new movie killed me). Because human adults rarely have the type of respect toward creatures he's used to seeing in the demon realm (they keep trying to tell him that no plants aren't sentient, not even certain types of plant, what do you mean just ask them not to damage the road with their root system?) he takes advice on wildlife mainly from children, witches, and Horse Girls TM. King won't correct him because that would mean unraveling 3,000 years of tales and explaining that there is no pixie that ritualistically collects human teeth. If you ask Meliodas why he thinks someone would possibly want to collect teeth he will tell you incredibly specific stories about the demons in his army who do so, including a sweet-tempered general who wears necklaces of her ancestors’ fangs and considers it her most wholesome family tradition. Her particular necklace weighs almost ten pounds. King does not want to think any more about demon teeth than he already has.
Thoughts?

yknow. i used to own a mildly successful DBZ headcanon/imagines blog.
maybe i should strike up those old ideas so let's tryyyy
NNT/4KOTA headcanons and imagines.
doint know if i have it in me to attempt setting up a whole blog for it again, but i wouldn't mind taking requests.
Only thing I'll say is I won't accept NSFW, but I'd be glad to see what folks would like to request.

All the sins with a s/o who can see and speak with ghosts and spirits. One day they bring up a spirit that’s been lingering around the sin, seemingly watching them and finds that it’s someone who was very important to them (each sin) how would they each react? (You can decide who the important person be, as I know some characters have canon important people in their lives and others we don’t know if they do) thank you!🤍
Hello! You asked for this 4 years ago idk if you’re even still into NNT but let’s do it anyway
Meliodas
-Imagine you just see Elizabeth 106 times and he’s like “What’s up man?”
-All jokes aside if this man has lost so much and you probably see so many different people around him. It’s very endearing to see the amount of people this man has touched the hearts of.
-He doesn’t ask you about your abilities, but one day after hearing about his past from every fallen friend he has ever had and you break and you tell him everything
-He would pretend to be deadpan about it and be like “Oh how nice” but inside he is DYING and mourning them all.
-I think the one that would officially break him would be if he knows Escanor is watching over him. He would break down.
Diane
-DOLORES‼️‼️‼️ she was so sweet
-You tell her about her abilities and she thinks it’s really cool. You wait a while to tell her dolores has been watching over her just incase she reacts negatively
-When you do tell her she begins to SOB
-Dolores is very proud of her for fighting in a way that she wants to fight instead of being what Matrona wants her to be.
-Dolores is also proud of Diane and Matrona for realising that there is more to life than fighting
-Diane is in tears and begins to shout out to Dolores that she will always be her best friend and that she misses her dearly
-You have to comfort your big crying gf
Ban
-Oh boy
-Imagine ghost Kilia still a baby still following Ban around like she did when she was alive simply because she doesn’t know any better
-Ghost Zhivago and Selion also watching over him and making sure he’s ok
-You tell him one day and he’s like “Cool, another freak you’ll fit in nicely here”
-If you’re his partner i’m gonna assume Elaine is still dead but she’s just happy that Ban managed to move on and find happiness.
-He has a whole club of deceased found family
-You one day tell him about his whole band of ghostly spectators and he simply grins.
-He’s too ‘manly’ to cry infront of you but he’s absolutely sobbing on the inside. He just shows a little grin
-“Guess I gotta lot of people to make proud now huh,” he sort of says to the sky.
-You hug him and he hugs back. Very emotional moment.
King
-“There’s been a green fairy following you around” “Yeah Helbram. I see him too he lives in my hat lmao”
-He doesn’t believe you when you first tell him about your abilities but you get a ghost to tell you the amount of coins he has in his pocket in order to gain his trust and he’s like “woah ok never mind”
-I guess a lot of fairies died while he was off with Diane so maybe they would tap in from time to time.
-They were originally vengeful but they’ve come to see how this impacted King and they realise it wasn’t his fault and are now mostly supportive
-You tell him about this one day while you’re both sitting under a tree
-He’s flabbergasted
-He keeps apologising and apologising again and again and you have to constantly reassure him they’re not mad and they’re rooting for him (you leave out that they were originally mad for his own mental health)
-You have to hug him to reassure him that this is in no way shape or form his fault
Gowther
-You don’t tell him, he finds out by reading your thoughts after he sees you staring into the sky at a different ghost one day and he’s like “neat”
-Imagine he hasn’t regained his memories yet and Nadja and Goatdad are following him. And you’re like “Do you know who these are?” and he’s like “No lol”
-Okok but after he regains his memories you tell him about his dad and dead girlfriend and he does choke up a little bit.
-They are both so so proud of him and you tell him that. He tells them (facing the opposite direction of them because he can’t see them) that he couldn’t have done it without them and thanks them.
-They both give him a lil kiss on the head and pat on the back and you have to narrate this for him because he obviously can’t feel it
-He is a mess. You have to give him a non spiritual hug and kiss.
Merlin
-When you tell her she has several questions including how often you see them, where they mostly linger, if you can enter the capital of the dead etc
-I can imagine that the entirety of Belialuin are watching her and they’re SO MAD like we all got DUNKED for THIS??
-Her father is also shaking his head disapprovingly at her.
-One day you ask her why there’s so many deceased people mad at her and she explains her background. That she was supposed to be a weapon for Belialuin. That they weren’t all supposed to die and things happened the way she didn’t intend it to.
-She is in great pain knowing that the ghosts from her past are disappointed in her but at the same time she knows things had to be the way they were in order for her to be the way she is. She has had over 3000 years to grieve and she simply has moved on.
-Merlin apologises to them, but tells them that this would never have happened if they treated her like the person she deserved to be treated as and was given the love she needed.
-This is very hard on her and you need to comfort her so badly, even if she’s too headstrong to confess that to you.
Escanor
-So he doesn’t particularly have any dead people in his past however Rosa was an adult when he was very young so we’re gonna pretend that she had passed away from old age (we don’t know much about her so it’s very possible)
-When you tell him about your abilities he thinks it’s very poetic. He feels very sorry for you and is always checking in to make sure you’re ok and that you didn’t see something horrific.
-When you tell him about Rosa he’s horrified. He didn’t know anything about her since he left his home country of Castellio so he wanted to assume she was alive and well.
-You have to comfort him in grieving her as well as tell him how proud she is of him. She checks in on him from time to time to make sure he’s alright and living the fulfilled life she dreamed of him living.
-He constantly thanks her while sobbing on the floor
-You have to drag him away and give him the best cuddle ever
Elizabeth
-Her adoptive mama will be watching over her so proud of the strong girl she became
-When they defeated the supreme deity she was by her side and making sure her daughter was ok
-When you tell her about your powers she is amazed and also upset by the heavy burden you carry
-You eventually tell her that her mum is watching over her proud of all that she accomplished and she begins to cry
-Her mama is the closest thing to a mum she’s ever had and she is just so happy to know that she’s by her side always
-You tell her that her mum loves her and wants her to make sure that her father is well and looked after
-She cries happy tears and does exactly as she says
-As always you give her a firm, supportive cuddle
I am so rusty I had to do so much research for this one because all but Gowther lore has escaped my brain.
While doing my research i found out in 4KOTA it reveals that Dolores is still alive but I simply couldn’t figure out who she would mourn so I stuck to it.
Have an amazing day friends 💙💙💙

Molluck sculpt stuff and rambling
I have been working on my Molluck sculpt recently and it looks quite different than the previous WIP I shared, so I felt like sharing you some progress again. I still gotta refine and fix some stuff but now, Molluck looks more like himself. But here's some 'old vs new' stuff:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I basically redid all his details and fixed his anatomy and shapes.
This was the first WIP I shared about him, and you can see how different he was even earlier:
Tumblr media
He was much more bulky back then... This sculpt has changed a lot during the progress and it's not done in a correct way, meaning that this has an awful topology. So, I have to redo the sculpt at some point. But I have decided to finish this sculpt since it will help me a lot with the proper model too. Doing stuff in a wrong way is also a way to learn! I know what to do next time since I got some good materials to help me with 3D stuff now. So, this will be 'Molluck model version 1.0'. I still have so much to learn about 3D stuff and this is a totally amateur sculpt. So, this sculpt won't have the clothing but the proper one.
Molluck ain't still the easiest thing to draw/sculpt/create but doing this sculpt has also helped me to understand more how his anatomy and all those shapes work. I have been studying his Soulstorm model so many times, using those cutscenes, all their frames, using a video editing software for such, but that art book of Soulstorm has helped me a lot too.
All this time I have drawn him, I have wanted to try to capture him as much as I can like he is in Soulstorm. But when it comes to his naked body, New 'n' Tasty model has been the way to go and Molluck's Soulstorm model is based on that and it can be seen on the art book since he has exactly same shoulders than in NnT for example. Yes, when I'm into something, I do really am into it... But even I love Molluck in such a way, I barely wanna change him. I wanna keep his body as close to the NnT model as I can but his hands are from the original concept art since I love those hands... So, basically the only thing I have changed about him is his 'ding-dong situation', like you all thirsty for him, I assume (I have seen stuff)... Don't ask me why I even wanted to do this model in the first place... I just want him, so much, okay...
I think that I understand his whole character more and more over time. Recently, I learned more about cigars and got more ideas for Molluck stuff, thanks to that. And I, um, even own a big cigar now! It's totally Molluck's fault... It's gonna dry but it doesn't matter; I just wanna retain one cigar, even if I starter such a 'hobby'. I laugh at myself when I look at it... I just truly love this Gluk and wanna understand his character as much as I can. And don't get me wrong, I have had this interest before, Molluck just 'boosted' it.
I'll write more Molluck stuff after the poll has ended. I do understand his flaws and negative sides but when it comes to imagination/fiction/fantasy, I care less about the moral stuff. Maybe it was better that his farm got destroyed but my heart still wishes all the best for him... I didn't choose this love, he just feels so much like made for me... He just makes me feel so good and has helped me in life... I have heard from a professional that I'm 'left behind in the development' when I have never had any realistic partner candidate but I haven't chosen it. I love to be like this and am barely into relationships, so this is ideal for me. So yes, I 'ship' myself with Molluck every day but I don't wanna share such stuff since it's private stuff for me but I can talk about what I feel toward him, like I have been doing now.
I think that I love him too much to be objective enough about him... But I'm trying my best to see him like he truly is but somehow, I just see that he has a heart and can be a lovely Gluk but only if he truly likes/loves you. I just got such a feeling from those Soulstorm cutscenes... But I think that this was enough for now.
~ I just love this Gluk!

ARTHUR AND HIS S/O JUST LAYING IN BED CUDDLING AND TALKING ABOUT LITERALLY ANYTHING EITHER NNT OR KOTA ARTHUR IS FINE JUST FLUFF PLEASE
I'M GOING FOR 4KOTA ARTHUR AND A SMALL SCENARIO BECAUSE THIS DESERVES IT 💜
Small Scenario: King of Chaos Arthur laying in bed with his S/O
(Y/N) was laying with her eyes closed on her shared bed with Arthur, although he still hadn't arrived. It seemed like the meeting he had with his knights was taking longer than expected, but she was already tired and went to bed when the clock striked 11p.m.
However, she didn't want to sleep without at least asking Arthur how did everything go and wishing him good night as she does everyday. From time to time her eyes opened, looking through the window curtains which she had intentionally left separated so the moonlight could reach the bedroom and prevent her from falling asleep. (Y/N) looked at the stars she could see from the bed, connecting each other, imagining shapes and wondering about their mystical meanings
Something falling next to her took her out of her thoughts, getting herself up on one arm and turning around fastly, just to see it was Arthur. She was already dozing off so she didn't even notice he had entered the room
"I'm sorry I woke you up (Y/N), I didn't mean to." Arthur ran his hand over his face, with his eyes closed, as if he was relaxing himself, along with a heavy and tired sigh
"You didn't! I was awake, waiting for you. How did the meeting go?" She relaxed herself and cuddled next to him with a smile, waiting for his answer. The first thing that escaped Arthur's lips at that question was a low grunt of dissatisfaction.
"Uh... Well, we aren't making any progress with the four knights of the apocalypse search... I have some back up plans but I won't be able to do much if those knights don't take their tasks seriously... but enough" He finally opened his eyes and smiled right at (Y/N). "The meeting has finished and I can finally rest with you after a long day"
Arthur turned around, laying on his side to face (Y/N) and rest his head above hers after softly kissing her. Both stayed in silence without moving, enjoying each others presence after a long day, but something prevented them from sleeping: The soft moonlight that was still coming from outside
"The night sky looks really peaceful tonight. All the stars are shining bright and can be seen perfectly..." Arthur looked through the window, speaking with a soft voice and closing his eyes
"They are, I focused on them to avoid falling sleep until you had finished your meeting... I wish I could know more about them..." Sleepily, (Y/N) tugged the blanket to cover both of them better
"Mmh... Maybe I can search in Merlin's laboratory for an astrology book. Then, we can learn together, do you like the idea? Because I do!"
(Y/N) yawned just before giving her answer "I like it too"
"Good, and if you let me, I'm closing the curtains now to sleep" And with one swift movement and a small laugh the room got swallowed in darkness
"Arthur"
"Yes?"
"Goodnight ~"

random NNT wip that I may or may not continue
(and if I do continue it, one day, it probably won’t look like this now that 4KOTA has given me more material to use)
More notes at the bottom, but I was going through some of my wips after thinking about this concept again on a whim, and I re-read it and I’m still happy with this scene, so I decided to post it for the kicks and giggles. It’s smack in the middle (early-mid?) of a whole story that I don’t have time to write (and 4KOTA is making me reconsidering things) so it may not make much sense, but that’s part of the fun.
Basic premise: a Tower of God AU for the characters of Seven Deadly Sins. I thought of it / wrote this after the NNT manga ended, but before Nakaba announced 4KOTA and published the Lancelot oneshot.
--
Howzer never imagined that he would be a scout when he first decided to climb the Tower. In fact, he was rather upset when Hendrickson labeled him as a scout back on the Floor of Tests, especially when he dreamed of being a spear bearer. Of course, he knew now he was nowhere near as talented with spears as Gilthunder or even Griamore was, though he had gotten pretty good at using his lance in close combat. The point was, Howzer had underestimated the importance and even the difficulty that the position of a scout had to offer.
It was a heavy load to bear.
He panted for a moment, hands on his knees. There was a short window he had to recover from that cheap ambush before he had to keep moving. He could buy himself some more time if he hid their bodies, to hide his tracks, but he was running out of time.
The thirty-second floor was nothing less than a battlefield wrapped up in a fun little ‘game’ the test director had the audacity to call ‘hide and seek.’ Essentially, the teams had to wander through the maze and duck under the hedges to make it to the center. If anyone was out from under the cover for more than three minutes, giant fucking birds would come down and eat them. Oh, and of course, the regulars were fond of killing each other along the way in the spirit of competition.
Lighthouses weren’t immune either, only allowed out in the open for a single minute before imminent, feathery, destruction. The hedges were nigh impenetrable, forcing the teams to funnel through the maze, so the spear bearers were relegated to straight ground attacks with the fisherman, once in engagement. In short, the entire test seemed to boil down to raising hell for the scouts.
Which, as previously mentioned, was him.
Joy.
He hadn’t really wanted to kill those guys, but they were annoying and bent on doing the same to them. There wasn’t the time to make a proper decision anyway. Howzer rounded the corner and dove back under the hedge, eyeing the three seconds left on his pocket’s timer. There wasn’t time to regret anything: he had to move.
No one had reached the end yet, which was both a good and a bad thing. Good, because it wasn’t a full-on race yet; bad, because Howzer’s specialty was following people, not mazes. However, he liked to think he was getting better at this kind of stuff. It was a shame his observer could only last as long as he did out in the open—but at least they weren’t on the same timer. When Howzer ducked into the hedge, he sent the observer out.
Luckily for him, his observer was picking up no more lifeforms. Well, no more living ones. It looked like a team found the wrong path before he came and paid the price for it. However, now Howzer knew the correct path for the next few turns, and they were all clear too. “I just sent the directions,” he spoke into his device. “You guys got it?”
“Yes,” Margaret’s voice came through from her lighthouse. “Although, I don’t think ‘take a left at the bush’ is an adequate description in a…hedge maze.”
“Nah, it’s obvious when you see it.” It was a different color and everything! His teammates were so picky… “But I gave the coordinates too.”
It was away from the receiver, but he heard the sigh. Picky and judgmental… “We’re on our way.”
Howzer rolled his eyes, grateful Margaret and Guila weren’t there to notice and gang up on him. Don’t get him wrong, he was beyond happy that Margaret joined their team (especially since Griamore was terrible at being a light bearer) but sometimes there was no winning with her. Not unless you were Gilthunder. Or Guila. Or Tristan… Okay, maybe it was just him. The fated tension between light bearers and scouts, he supposed.
“Not even a thank you…” he muttered to himself before jumping back out in the open. He already stashed his observer at the destination, so he just needed to reach it, quick and easy— “AH!”
“Agh!”
Howzer collided with a body as he turned the corner into the new path. He stumbled back a few steps, and the other person was sent flying on their butt. For a moment, he stared at her, dumbfounded. His observer excelled at sensing signs of life based on their heartbeats, so unless they had some crazy technique, not even shinsu could cover it; and this girl just came out of the dead end—where everyone had appeared dead.
Although, he was pretty sure he didn’t remember seeing her in particular. She was a slight thing, but with bright pink hair with a short cut and a sweeping bang that covered one eye completely. Plus, she was wearing armor, which wasn’t all that common. Surely, he would have remembered… Unless she was in the hedge. But even then, that should have picked up on his observer.
“Sorry,” she gasped. “I was in a hurry.”
He glanced at his pocket. “No kidding.” He wouldn’t make it to his observer now. Damn, a short break then. “Come on!” Howzer yanked the girl into the nearest hedge with him. Sure, she was an enemy, but she didn’t look like she was in good shape. Her armor was scuffed, the needle on her side looked damaged, and her skin was unnaturally pale. And Howzer wasn’t gonna’ let a girl die like that—especially not to frickin’ birds.
“Thank you.” The fisherman got back on her feet. “I was just trying to get my bearings. My observer broke though.”
“You’re a scout?!” he exclaimed reflexively. Damnit, he thought he pegged her. “I thought you were a fisherman.”
She glanced down at her needle and huffed out a quiet laugh, almost like she was remembering some past joke. “Our team doesn’t have a real scout, so I multi-task.”
“Damn, that sucks.” That was beyond reckless. Not that Howzer could say much, because his team tried to function with a proper light-bearer for nearly fifteen floors before Margaret joined them.
“Yes. It does. It worked out enough, though.”
Howzer can’t help but to wonder if the slaughtered team around that bend was hers. The far off look in her eye seemed to match his suspicions, too. Worked out, huh? Not forever…
She snapped out of her daze. “I’m Liz,” she introduced, offering a hand.
Howzer took it after only a brief moment of hesitation. She didn’t look like she had the strength to take him in a fight anyway. Besides, if she wanted to kill him like that last group did, then she had the opportunity to shove him to the birds a while ago. “Howzer,” he returned. “Here, let’s hurry up around this corner. My observer is there.” He couldn’t afford a new one if it was destroyed or stolen…again.
Liz nodded, and they took off. Despite her pallor, she was fast. He had the feeling that had he not been leading the way, she could easily outrun him. Strange, that someone with the ability to move through shinsu like this would be in the position she was…
They made it to their destination without a hitch, and Liz hadn’t even broken a sweat. Still, the question bothered him. “So, where’s your team?”
The beat of silence was answer enough that his first hunch was correct. “…they died. I’m…the only one that survived.”
“I’m sorry to hear that.” He really was. The thought of losing a single one of his teammates was painful enough, but all of them? Howzer didn’t know if he would have the motivation to still keep going. “…What are you going to do, then? Finish the test alone?” It was nigh impossible, but for a fisherman who knew the ways of scouting…
“I don’t know.” Liz picked at her armor, looking uncomfortable. He imagined it was a sore question, but he wanted to know her motives. She seemed capable enough, so if she wanted to get out of the maze, Howzer was willing to vouch for her and absorb her into the team, at least for the test. “There’s someone… I want to see. I can’t die until I see him.” The steel in her blue eye was testament to her resolve. She had something to live for.
“Hey.” Howzer laid a hand on her shoulder. “I know we’re not your teammates, but my team can get you to the end of this test. You go find that guy you’re looking for.” He was sure his team would be sympathetic, too. Gilthunder wanted to find his missing father. Guila wanted to make it back home to her brother and her hometown to protect them as a ranker. Jericho wanted to avenge her brother. Tristan wanted to find out who his family was. Everyone had someone they wanted to look out for.
“Thank you.” Liz smiled, and Howzer thought he saw a glisten on her cheek.
There was always sorrow behind resolve.
“Who are you?!” A needle pressed itself to Liz’s back. Oh, crap.
Howzer yanked Liz forward and intercepted. “Oi! Easy there, she’s with me!”
Jericho frowned, but she sheathed her needle. “If you hormonal boys don’t stop picking up girls, I’m leaving.”
His face turned red. (But not as read as Gilthunder’s and Margaret’s, a fact he was very proud of.) “H-hey, it’s not like that! I just offered to help her clear the maze, that’s all!”
“Whatever, lover-boy.”
Liz laughed, a short and sweet but very unapologetic sound. “Oh no, it’s not like that at all. I’m far too old for him, anyway. You must be Howzer’s team, correct?”
“Y-yeah.” Gilthunder cleared his throat, recovering from Jericho’s heckling. “We are. I’m Gilthunder.”
“Liz.” She gave a short bow. “Thank you for helping me.”
At their questioning gaze, Howzer filled in. “Her team died to the birds. I offered to help her reach the end, so she can move on and find someone.” He grinned. “We’re close to the end, too. I can feel it.”
“With what?” Griamore grunted. “Your impatience?”
“Nobody asked you, big guy. Anyway!” He clapped, turning on his heel to his beloved observer. “I’ve been tracking the paths on here. They’re narrowing and getting tighter around the curves, so we must be approaching the center of the circle. A few more trips, and I bet we’ll have made it.”
“That’s…” Margaret gave a soft smile. “Actually smart.”
“…’actually’?!”
His brow twitched. Whatever. They’ll appreciate his genius one day! Maybe. Howzer turned back to his observer with a sigh, ready to send it out again, but something caught his notice.
The observer counted seven lifeforms in the vicinity, including himself.
With Liz, there should be eight.
He had assumed it was a fluke that he didn’t see Liz on his radar the first time, and because she wasn’t hostile, he hadn’t thought of the implications too hard. But she was right there, and the observer wouldn’t read her. It was possible it could be some weird shinsu trick, but she wasn’t a wave controller, and he had never seen a regular with that level of skill otherwise. Besides, there was absolutely no point in her expending energy to hide herself now that she had allies.
It seemed like Guila noticed something about her, too. Howzer noticed the black-haired wave-controller frown pensively, her eyes opened to slits in a rare moment of appraisal. Howzer couldn’t ask her what she sensed without raising suspicion, however, so he would have to wait. He could send a message by pocket once they started scouting again, when messaging wouldn’t be abnormal.
When he looked back to her, however, Liz was completed fixated on something else. Her eye was wide, and her mouth was parted; it was slight, but there was a tremble to her muscles. It looked like she was afraid, but it wasn’t the kind of fear that Howzer saw on the battlefield. Her gaze was locked…
…onto Tristan.
He wasn’t sure how long this had taken place, but Tristan just noticed, meeting her gaze like an equally spooked deer. Parallel to each other’s, their blue eyes looked similar—but there was something deeper to Liz’s than in the kid’s. Something Howzer couldn’t quite recognize, no matter how it hurt his pride as a scout.
“You…” Tristan blinked owlishly, taking one cautious step towards the woman. “Do I know…you…?”
“…no.” Liz’s voice was thick. The entire team was frozen around their encounter, as if time or the test didn’t exist outside of the two. “N-no, I’m afraid you don’t.” She matched Tristan’s hesitant step forward, her hand reaching out slowly. “But can I…?”
There was recognition in her stance, however—in her hungry, pained gaze, and in her outstretched hand. No one knew Tristan, not really, but rumors of him spread around the tower. This wouldn’t have been the first time someone hailed Tristan as some savior, whether because of his strange shinsu control or his status as an irregular. However, this seemed different. Normally, those willing to cast their hopes on a complete stranger were not the hesitant type.
“Uh…” Tristan looked as confused as ever. “I’m not sure I’m following but…”
He didn’t stop her, and Liz inched towards him like she was still afraid of something—of him, maybe. Guila looked like she was about to stop her, but she was frozen in place just like Howzer was. Maybe it was curiosity that made them useless. Maybe it was something else.
Tristan gasped. “Your heart—!” Her heart? Has Tristan figured out why Liz mysteriously didn’t show up on his radar? “It’s not… It’s not beating!”
“I know,” she whispered solemnly. What?! It wasn’t beating at all?! Then how was she even alive?! “But don’t worry about me.” Liz didn’t take her gaze off of Tristan. “It’s beating somewhere else.”
Howzer blinked. What?
“What the hell…?” Jericho whispered, echoing his thoughts perfectly.
Liz looked up sharply, forcefully tearing her gaze away from Tristan, who still looked baffled and dazed. She bowed quickly in Howzer’s direction. “Thank you for your hospitality, but I must be going.”
Before he or anyone could even respond, and with one last longing glance at Tristan, she took off faster than untrained eyes could track. The team looked to him, but Howzer could only shrug helplessly. “I don’t know if I can catch up, but wait here.”
He did see which direction she was going, but he knew her speed was greater than his unless he reinforced himself with shinsu. However, there wasn’t the need, because she was headed back to the dead end.
If she was there to get information from them, she didn’t stick with it, and he knew for a fact that she was too distracted with Tristan to ever mess with his observer. It was almost as if Tristan was the one that she was looking for—or at least a sizable distraction to her goal, based on the fixation. However, she took off without accomplishing much besides confusing them; she took off with a level of panic too. They were safe in the bush though, and there were no teams nearby.
Howzer heard her before he saw her, and he slowed his approach out of both caution and respect, hovering on the other side of the corner. Liz screamed, wailing unabashedly with pent up sorrow that he could not fathom. She would have been out of earshot of the rest of the team, but just barely. But hers was a cry that came as a deluge; there was no holding it back.
He thought about just turning around and leaving her alone. He was intruding on something delicate and personal, but, as a scout he couldn’t remove himself without a final glance. Howzer peaked around the corner, in no way prepared for what he saw.
Liz was not the one crying. She was but a body on the ground, limp and lifeless. A white entity floated above her, with long silver hair and those same blue eyes, holding her stomach in her ghostly hands as she wailed.
This time, it was hard to ignore how much she looked like Tristan.
It wasn’t a suspicion he could follow at the moment, however. The test was still running, and they couldn’t afford to lose their chance at going to the thirty-third floor. Howzer turned around and left the woman to her sorrows, with the inescapable feeling that they would see her again.

another A/N
The story is/was going to be about the youngins’ dream-filled trek to becoming a ranker in the Tower, with the team consisting of Howzer, Gilthunder, Griamore, Jericho, and later Margaret, who are all regulars with various aspirations and goals, along with Tristan, a young boy who met the first four on Floor 1, who was sent to the inner Tower from outside known Tower boundaries, making him an irregular.
The main mystery was going to be finding out how Tristan came to be (which is to say, finding out what happened to his parents and the Sins) because his only memories are of a mysterious woman named Nimue caring for him, though much of his childhood was spent alone in her domain.
I’m pretty dedicated to the HTRYDS series right now, but maybe after 4KOTA gets farther along, I’ll rework the story to incorporate the new worldbuilding tidbits and the new characters. I had wanted the main team to be the “babies” but that required using the OG children and aging them down a bit to match Tristan, though they all still would have been older than he was.
Tbh, I had more fun comprising the backstory/alternate story that involved the sins and such than I did trying to figure out what the main group would be doing. I might just post my ideas and call it a day. Who knows.

I'm honestly curious about your expectations concerning the upcoming nnt movie, if you wouldn't mind ^^, what would you like to see in it?
*rubs hands together mischievously*
This question...ohohohoooo dear anon You’re gonna regret asking this.
*slams folder onto table*
Let’s begin with the title shall weee!?
Good!
Now let’s begin with the title of the movie, “cursed by light”
I have not slept thinking about this my dear anon.
this is clearly about some kind of curse oh maybe it’s hypothetical we don’t know but my expectations are that this movie is after the conclusion of the seventh at listens which was confirmed in the other post that I sadly did not reblog.
But in spite of that I would like to think that the other villain of the story would perhaps be introduced in this movie.
Do you know who I’m talking about?
You gotta!
The supreme bitch- whoops I meant deity.
So while this may be placed in the future and not in the past like I would’ve actually hoped Meliodas and Elizabeth did go through a Trumatic 3000 years, clearly there’s something to talk about between those two.
So I cannot speak for the plot of the movie I have absolutely no idea if Tristan will even be a part of this and while I love Tristan I actually hope it will be somewhere between Meliodas and Elizabeth is marriage and Tristan‘s birth, aka when the whole curse being broken thing was still quite new.
So onto what I actually think is gonna happen!
I think there’s gonna be a mess
The demon king is dead Meliodas in the Melizabeth is free and happy which, in the eyes of the demon king and the supreme bitch was not supposed to happen.
so remember the supreme bitch was never a part of the series besides for the short backstory Meliodas gave us and her possible presence in the horn.
The demon king placed a curse on Elizabeth and the supreme bitch gave meliodas his curse, so I’d imagine with it broken she would be concerned and furious, perhaps enough so to take action, because if I understand correctly The supreme bitch will actually not be the villain of the sequel so now would be a very good time to make her presence as the villain.
Which, and stay with me here, could give us the Melizabeth scene that we have all craved (+angst) the ....kiss?
Perhaps?
Anyway as I said I cannot speak for the plot of the movie I can only say what I think will make appearances and what I think will be you know the main story in this.
*closes folder gently*

Need help¿
Well, I made two nnt OCs a year ago, a girl and a boy. This was before the sequel came out.
I only named the girl cause I don’t have a lot of imagination (or knowledge about English names from that era) to name the boy.
I named her Annie (just to have a name option), but now that there is an Annie in the manga I wanted to rename her.
So, does someone has an idea about what name could I give her?
She’s like this:
Tumblr media
(Face/expressions sketch because I’m not capable of drawing the body with proportions xd)
Also, she’s familiar of one of the sins (guess who), maybe I’ll post my other OC, her brother, to ask for name ideas as well😂

What is your top 5 most tragic couples of Nnt? And why? 🙂
Hello Anon! Thank you for the ask!
This is a difficult question because, let’s be honest, are there not tragic nnt couples? (Alright, maybe there are some, but they are a minority)
I can try to write down a list of the ones I personally found more tragic and that touched me in some way, so this is not an objective list. And it’s not in a particular order, I’m bad at raking.
Melizabeth - Yes, this is the most obvious one, I know. Having to watch the person you love die again and again without being able to save her (and dying again and again without knowing why, not until the very end if you are lucky) is already pretty tragic per se. But something else I find tragic about Melizabeth is how they never stood a chance and anyway kept trying. They tried to stop the war even though, probably, it felt impossible. They tried to fight their parents even though they knew they would have, most likely, died. And then, even though the situation was hopeless, Meliodas kept trying to find a way to break the curse (despite the fact that he was desperate as well, we know that he tried literally everything and even tried to kill himself, most likely). Eventually, Meliodas even tried to become something he really didn’t want to be, all to keep his promise - and Elizabeth fought with all she had to stop him from doing something she knew he didn’t want. I don’t know, the fact that both these characters were pushed to their limits by this relationship makes it quite tragic to me.
Monderi - I don’t think this needs an explanation, does it? The fact that Derieri had to see Monspeet die in front of her and for her and basically lost her mind for a while because she couldn’t understand why (or better, she could, but she was too shocked to admit it) was tragic. I can only hope for them to meet again!
Geldris - I know, this is a classic as well, but I couldn’t not mention it. What makes this ship tragic in my opinion is that it was hopeless. And it was hopeless from the very start, because even though I can imagine that at first Zeldris and Gelda enjoyed their relationship and their secret meetings and tried not to think too much about the future, well, they both knew that it could have ended anytime. That a word from the Demon King would have been enough to destroy them both. That’s exactly what happened! I think that Zeldris always hoped that one day, he would have been able to free Gelda, but I’m not sure he was convinced he would have made it. And then he probably thought she was dead! And when she was finally free, Gelda literally had to fight him! This relationship has never been easy until the very end, and that’s why I think it’s tragic.
Gilgaret - The fact that we didn’t see that much about how was their relationship while the Sins were banished doesn’t make it less tragic. Margaret and Gilthunder’s relationship made things very hard for them and forced them to do things they most likely hated. It would have probably been much easier for both of them if they had decided to let it go, and I love that they didn’t, that they kept going, clinging to the dream that one day, they would have been free. I would have loved to see more of those years they spent in Liones, surrounded by enemies, forced to lie and to serve people they hated.
Okay, okay, I’m being very much self-indulgent here, but the last relationship I’ll out here is Kiane. I know, no one dies here, there is no one forcing them to hide their relationship, no curse making their lives impossible. I know. But what makes Kiane tragic to me is how much their relationship mean to them and how much it costed them to lose it.
Diane was King’s only friend for a very long time (sure, that’s because he didn’t remember about his past, but he still spent centuries with her and somehow, she was the only important person in his life at that moment). Yet, he decided to renounce to her and to their relationship, even though it hurt him. I know that a lot of people in the fandom tend to ... blame him for this? Sort of? And I agree that taking away her memories was wrong, he shouldn’t have done that to her, but the fact that he was so desperate and so sure he would have hurt her to know what was happening to him that he renounced to her is very tragic for me. It’s also tragic that Diane, who never had a friend before and who most likely considered King as the most important person for her, had to lose everything she had and was once again left alone. Without even their memories together to make it a little better.
And then sure, there is the fact that King kept loving her even though he knew she didn’t feel the same and was probably convinced she would have never loved him back, and the fact that Diane basically made herself fall in love with Meliodas because of her broken memories and the fact that she knew he wouldn’t have taken advantage of her. And then the fact that when they were finally about to be reunited, that chance was taken away from them again. But I guess I wrote already too much about them.
Special mention to Banlaine, that didn’t make it into this list because even though it’s a very tragic ship, it was too “fast” and desperate for me. (This simply means that I didn’t really get it at first, but considering what it did to Ban and Elaine, what they had to endure and how hard they had to fight to be together, yeah, it’s definitely very tragic. And they really can’t catch a break!)

Are y’all ready for some Angst (NnT)
Cause i sure fucking am after the illusions we were shown and a fic i read last night about Mel being hopelessly in love with Ban who only seems to want to spend time with the newly revived Elaine. (Sort of ooc probably but eh, i wrote this whole thing out in maybe 30 minutes) (spoilers ahead i guess)
Let’s say after the whole arc with Merlin that’s going on rn is over, Meliodas eventually takes up the mantle of demon king and tries to build good relations with the other races (namely fairies, giants and humans) which he has some pretty good prerquisites for, being friends with the fairy king, giant queen and Arthur (i’m assuming).
But while that happens, because he’s the demon king and all he has to move to the underworld and the sins all sorta drift apart despite Mels best efforts to keep his friendship bonds with them alive, while King Diane and Ban don’t seem to care too much (either not at all or not enough for Mel to notice) and Mel keeps trying harder and harder, panicking at the thought of them not being friends anymore since they’ve been his family for so many years now.
Bute everytime he comes to visit just because (meaning non-official business) he feels like the third wheel with King and Diane being practically inseperable and Ban always fawning over Elaine. Eventually, he gets sick of that, and visits less and less. Official messages he used to deliver himself are now delivered by letter, which at first also had some personal questions like “How are you doing?” or “Mind if i come by sometime?” but those, usually remaining unanswered, stop too.
Zeldris is probably the first to really notice the change in Meliodas, since he’s (probably) the only one who can physically visit him in the underworld, and does so a lot. He notices that Mel seems to grow more depressed and reserved as time goes on, Mel stays in the underworld longer and longer, and while he still makes efforts to reconcile the demons and the other races, he doesn’t visit his friends anymore unless it’s for official business.
I imagine there being like a big (political) meetup of all the races where the kings and queens and the ones close to them come, and while the sins look forward to spending time with each other and their (former?) captain, Mel is acting too officially appropriate (he does want to keep the peace after all), and less friendly like you would with your family, but if they try to approach him outside of any official meetings, he still acts with a stonewall demeanor, and maybe even just a little bit cynical but you’d have to really squint to notice.
Once back in the underworld, Zeldris tries to talk to him about this, but Mel either dodges the question or keeps insisting that “everything’s fine” (even though it very obviously isn’t). Mel, being very aware of his duties, throws himself into his work as king (he’s actually a very good king), and if there isn’t work to be done, drowns himself in alcohol or aimlessly wanders through the vast royal gardens, wallowing in self-pity. Sometimes he’ll go far out to one of the hills more at the edge of the gardens where the big trees grow and sit either by them or in them, hidden between branches and leaves where no one can see him, and fight back the tears that are threatening to spill over, just repeating “i’m fine, i’m fine” over and over like a mantra, knowing full well that he isn’t but still refusing to acknowledge and address it (this is about the closest he gets as far as addressing his emotions goes, this boy seriously needs therapy).
