hey, how'd you learn how to do your makeup? i'm kind of a novice over here

Hey!! So I learned via a lot of methods - tips from friends, videos, googling. It's hard for me to remember a lot of my sources over the years. That being said, I'm going to try to link the ones I know help the most.

The Pretty Fix - this channel hasn't updated in a while but has a lot of tutorials designed to be trans-inclusive and beginner friendly. It's a great resource for just starting out and for understanding a lot of basic techniques and things to keep in mind without it being overwhelming or throwing too many product types at you.

How to Apply Eyeshadow PERFECTLY (beginner friendly hacks) by AlexandrasGirlyTalk - This video is short and simple and yet probably the most effective one I've seen when it comes to breaking down eyeshadow. I still haven't fully 100% mastered doing eyeshadow, but I feel a lot more confident with it after watching this a few times.

Dude, eyeliner changes your whole face by Alexandra Anele - Another good technique and theory video that helps a lot when trying to figure out eyeliner, which IMO is the hardest part of trying to do eye make up and something I'm only starting to feel good with as of this year

NEW Updated 2021 E-Girl Makeup Tutorial! by hannah owo - This one might seem silly at first glance because, y'know, E-girl, but honestly this is one of the most helpful makeup tutorials I've found and has drastically affected how I've done my makeup. What makes this one so good and helpful IMO is that unlike a lot of other makeup tutorials you can find, this one uses a lot of drugstore and bargain brands (at one point it recommends using a Crayola marker to create freckles) and shows the ways one can make a super elaborate look using a surprisingly small amount of products.

FACE BASICS: Hide Facial Hair (using Makeup!) Part 2: Makeup by David K Davey - I don't really do a lot of this anymore (I used to go way overboard on covering that area early in transition lol) but for those worried about beard shadow or discoloration in that area, this helps teach how to be cover that up and the colour theory behind it. Mastering this can be a godsend.

Those are the main links I can think of right now! For someone still getting in, my best advice is to get the basic tools you'll need - primer, concealer, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush - as well as a sponge or brush kit and play around with them, using tutorials and googling every time you think you come into an issue. Then you can start looking at more advanced things like contours and eye shadows, and the good thing about eye shadows is that most palettes have a bunch of videos online of people doing various looks and tutorials with them, meaning if you find yourself stuck, you're almost always guaranteed to find something you can use as a reference.

Makeup is hard and I still don't feel like I have a perfect understanding of it, but it can be quite fun once you find a set up you like and start getting comfortable enough to experiment with new looks and products! I hope this could help at all and I wish you the best of luck going forward!

the car ride had been silent for a little bit, but a content and comfortable silence. that was until joe broke it.

"you warm enough?" - joe

"oh yeah, i'm fine." - you

"i see chill bumps on your arms." - joe

"i'm fine joe, i promise." - you

joe sighed, and i thought that was the end of it, but when we got to a red light he pulled his sweatshirt off and handed it over to me.

"you can wear it." - joe

in all honesty i really wasn't cold, but i'm also not going to pass up on wearing joes hoodie so i slipped it on over my game day fit.

in the corner of my eye i saw joe look over at me and smile, a light blush forming on his cheeks when he looked away.

"what?" - you

"it looks better on you than me." - joe grinned

"i don't think that's true, it actually fits you."

- you

"oversized is in right now." - joe shrugged

"oh shush" - you laughed

*time skip*

joe was parking the car as i was looking at myself in the car mirror, trying to fix my mascara and touch up my hair after that long game.

"you almost ready?" - joe chuckled

"yeah, hold on. just gotta fix my hair a bit." - you

"you look fine. come on." - joe unbuckled his seatbelt, clearly getting impatient

"hold on, joe!" - you

joe exhaled loudly before getting out of the car and walking over to my side, he opened my door and pulled me out.

"you look beautiful like always, let's go." - joe

"i don't know if i should say thank you or not."

- you caused joe to laugh

joe was walking a few steps ahead of me on my left, but he stopped in his tracks so we could walk at the same pace.

once i was directly next to joe, he held his hand out in front of me. i took it in mine and laced my fingers with his.

"thanks for comin with me." - joe

"of course, joey." - you

"love when you call me that." - joe smiled and squeezed your hand before opening the door of the bar.

joe opened the door and pulled me inside behind him, it didn't take him long to find the rest of the team in a back room that was away from everyone else.

"look at you two!" - ja'marr

"our favorite couple" - sam teased

"not a couple" - you

"the hand holding says otherwise." - jess slipped into the booth and sat next to sam.

"cincinnati's sketchy, don't want her to get grabbed or something." - joe

"so you have to hold her hand, can't just stand by her or something?" - sam smirked

"just drop it." - joe

"okay okay, we'll quit" - sam

the group had made room for joe and i in the booth and as we were both sitting down tee came rushing over to the table.

"bro you good?" - ja'marr

"uhm. joe don't flip the hell out, but somehow lexie found out what bar we were going to.. and she's here." - tee

my mouth dropped and when i turned to joe to see his facial expression, i noticed that his jaw was clenched and he looked evidently pissed off.

"like my ex lexie?" - joe

"yeah.. i don't know how she got the location. she's here with a guy and she was literally grinding on him while they were on the dance floor so i think it's her boyfriend." - tee

joe rolled his eyes and popped his knuckles before ja'marr spoke up.

"what's he look like?” - ja’marr

“shorter, maybe 5’10, brown hair, brown eyes, scrawny lookin.” - tee

“that’s the guy she made out with at that party!”

- ja’marr

“the exact opposite of me” - joe mumbled

“oh so he’s ugly too?” - you asked causing everyone to laugh, joe even cracked a small smile

“smooth, y/n.” - sam laughed

“what?? if he’s the exact opposite of joe that’s gotta be one unattractive dude!” - you

we all continued laughing and carrying on for awhile until i felt joe pat my leg.

“mhm?” - you

“im gonna get something to drink, you want anything?” - joe

“can i just come with you?” - you

“oh yeah sure” - joe smiled as he stood up, you followed behind him

as we made our way up to the bar i watched joes eyes scan the crowd, he was probably looking for lexie.

“joey.” - you got joes attention, the sound of your voice stopped him dead in his tracks as he turned to you

“stop looking for her.” - you

“i’m no-” - joe

“yeah ya are, i’ll hurt worse if you try to see her with him, if i were you i’d avoid her.” - you

“i’m trying to. i’m trying to stay conscious to where she is so i can go somewhere else” - joe

“i’ll be on the lookout okay?” - you

“okay” - joe nodded before striding up to the bar

he didn’t even ask what i wanted?

i watched him order before doing a quick glance around to make sure the wicked which of the west wasn’t around. a few minutes later, joe walked back over to me and handed me a mai tai.

“how’d you know that’s what i wanted?”

- you smiled

“i know you like that back of my damn hand, y/n. plus i use to give you a hard time about drinking summery drinks in the fall, so it’s easy to remember.” - joe shrugged

we stood there for a little bit, making casual conversation until the song over the speakers caught my attention. it was a slower song, and i recognized it as Starting Over by Chris Stapleton.

“i like this song” - you smiled

“i didn’t know bars played slow country songs.”

- joe laughed

“it was requested i guess” - you shrugged as you started swaying

joe put his cup down on the nearest empty table before taking mine out of my hand and setting it down also.

“what?” - you nervously laughed

“wanna dance?” - joe

the butterflies in my stomach tripled all at once. i was probably beet red right now.

i couldn’t formulate words so all i did was nod with a smile on my face.

joe put his hands on a respectable spot on my waist as mine were on his chest.

as time went on, we got closer together. we were flush against each other, still swaying to the song.

“i don’t ever want this to end” - joe

“me neither, joey.” - you

*time skip*

joe and i had made our way into a more secluded corner, away from everyone.

of course you didn’t know, but joe had noticed that you two had been on a certain someones radar. lexie was watching you both like a hawk after she saw you two dancing together. out of pure jealousy too.

after dancing, there was definitely a tension between joe and i that was just begging to be broken.

i was leaning my back against the wall, while joe was facing me with his hand against the wall above my head.

my eyes scanned the crowd as i stirred the drink in my hand with the straw. i felt a hand move a piece of my hair off my forehead which caused my eyes to leave my surroundings and up to joes face. he was looking down at me with so much admiration in his eyes.

"have i ever told you that you're the most beautiful girl?" - joe smiled

my heart skipped a beat, is what i've always dreamed of happening.. about to happen?

"i don't think so." - you

"well ya are." - joe caresses your cheek as he leans down to where his face is closer to yours

"y/n.. can i kiss you?" - joe

my voice was caught in my throat so all i could do was nod before joe smashed his lips onto mine.

am i really kissing joe right now?!

our lips molded together perfectly, like they were puzzle pieces perfectly made for each other.

joe leaned away and took a deep breath before connecting our lips again, his arms snaking around my waist.

we were both finally out of breath, our foreheads touching as we smiled at each other.

we stayed like that for a few seconds before joe fully moved away, just his arm around my waist connecting us as he looked around.

"ha it worked!" - joe

my heart shattered as i looked to where joe was looking, lexie storming out of the bar with her boyfriend close behind her.

"wait what? you did that to make her jealous?"

- you looked back up at joe, you were completely heartbroken as the tears threatened to spill over

"yeah duh, i thought you knew that? plus i mean you're my best friend why'd i ever kiss you?" - joe

my mouth dropped open at his words, and my stomach flipped- not in the good way that my stomach usually flips because of joe.

"y/n?" - joes eyes scanned your face, trying to see what you were thinking

"i- i have to go" - you turned and practically ran, the tears now spilling down your face

i sprinted across the bar, the ladies restroom in sight. i could hear joe behind me shouting my name as he ran after me but all i did was run faster.

when i had finally got to the bathroom, a hand grabbed my wrist.

"y/n listen-" - joe started

"shut the fuck up joe! leave me the hell alone. i don't want to talk to you now, or preferably ever again." - you cried

"you- you don't mean that." - joe

"yes i do, now let me go." - you pulled your wrist away from joes grasp and opened the bathroom door

"y/n please-" - joe pleaded before you slammed the bathroom door in his face

the bathroom was completely empty so i picked the closest stall to cry in.

i locked the door before sliding down the wall to the floor. my feelings for joe really were just one sided. to him i was nothing but his best friend.

that's not even the worst part. he used me to make his ex girlfriend jealous, the same ex girlfriend that cheated on him so i had to hold him an entire night.

it just really didn't make sense; i was so convinced he felt the same way. maybe he was leading me on this entire time?

whatever the answer was, i didn't want to know and didn't really care. i just hope to never talk to him again.

*time skip*

after crying in the floor for thirty minutes, i stood up from said floor and made my way out of the stall. when i walked over to the mirror, i didn't like who i saw; a lovesick, heartbroken, jealous girl.

i grabbed a couple paper towels to wipe the running mascara off my cheeks and eyes before looking back in the mirror. i was decent for the most part, but when i my eyes traveled to joes sweatshirt i felt like crying again.

i need to get out of this shirt, and out of here.

when i pulled his sweatshirt off, his jersey was shown underneath. there was no escaping him, seemed to be a common theme with joe.

i came up with a game plan before walking out of the bathroom.

joe wasn’t waiting outside the bathroom like i thought he would be, but it wouldn’t be too hard to find him.

after my disappearance i figured he’d be hitting the bar, and i was right.

he was sitting at a table by himself, 4 empty mic ultra cans next to him.

i was about to walk up to him and give him what for when none other than lexie came striding up to him.

“you ready to go joey?” - lexie

“yup” - joe took lexies hand to steady himself as he stood up before wrapping both arms around her waist

i turned around before they could see me and ran to where the other guys were sitting.

he’s holding her and i’m still around.

“woah y/n, you okay?” - ja’marr

“what’s wrong, why are you crying?” - jess

i didn’t answer their questions, just slammed joes folded sweatshirt on the table.

“this is joes, get it back to him. also, tell him i said go to hell.” - you wiped your eyes before striding out of the bar completely

when i got to the sidewalk, everything i was holding back bubbled up and practically exploded.

i pulled my phone out of my purse and immediately pulled up my moms number.

she answered on the second ring.

“honey, is everything okay?” - your mom

“no, please come pick me up” - you cried

“what’s wrong, are you hurt?” - your mom

“not really, not physically..” - you

“i’m on my way. care to tell me what’s wrong?”

- your mom

“i hate joe, so much” - you cried out

a formidable hit that made waves for all the wrong reasons domestically, MASCARA had the opposite effect internationally. nevertheless, HIJINXX would get the chance to perform the song on mnet’s m countdown, sparking the discourse surrounding their name. the official music video for MASCARA received 2.6 million views within the first week, highlighting how HIJINXX are quickly making their own statement around the world no matter what.

wooo hijinxx first single! debut into the industry with fire and passion, this is what we like to see!

except comma,

the public reception to the single being mostly in english was genuine surprise. it’s not unheard of having english lyrics in k-pop songs, but the entire song? as a debut single? for a new group trying to find their own footing? yeah korean netizens were not having it at all. on a forum asking what people thought about the song, the top liked negative comment read: they should all move to america since they want to sing songs with no korean lyrics. they shouldn’t even call themselves a ‘korean pop’ group.

many were quick to come to the girls’ defenses though, saying that the song was meant to reach a wider audience since the survival show didn’t do as well as hoped. ratings for the show had tanked following the accusations of rigging and favoritism, so it wasn’t a long shot for the group to debut with such a song to appeal to a wider audience.

now on to the girls! yuina became a quick fan favorite with her expressions and stage presence, surprising viewers with her strong dance skills. it was then revealed that she spent many hours practicing the choreography over and over, sometimes well into the morning, even falling asleep in the practice rooms out of sheer exhaustion. hearing this, coupled with some tidbits of her life that she had revealed on the survival show, warmed her up to the public very quickly. her short rap in the song would also gain a bit of praise, especially for her lack of vocal wavering despite giving one hundred percent during performance.

despite this, kq would receive a lot of criticism for debuting the girls with ‘simple choreo’, the general consensus being that ( save for yuina who was really busting her ass on stage every time ) the other three girls would ‘walk instead of dance’ into each position.

micha received a ton of attention, some good, most of it bad. the main sore spot was that, as the main vocalist, she was given the most lines, but netizens would go on to complain that the company was favoring her through an unfair line distribution. hate comments would be left underneath the videos uploaded for the performances. she’s lucky she’s pretty, one commenter would write, otherwise i would really hate to hear the sound of her voice. when she dances she looks like she’s being electrocuted and it’s not like she tries to be likable.

eunji would go semi-viral for blankly staring at the screen during group introductions, the nerves getting to her so bad she would default to a semi panicked look. screenshots of the moments would go viral to be used as a reaction meme despite most not knowing where the pictures originated from.

mascara would be promoted for a month and a half, long enough for public performances / more busking, few idol interactions, and dance challenges—especially with their senior group, ateez. the ‘mascara challenge’ with yuina, wooyoung, and san would especially go viral due to atinys flooding the comments with love and poking fun at the notable height difference between san and yuina.

mascara did not gain any wins, but it would go on to chart and peak at number 87 on the billboard hot 100, marking their first entry on to a chart.

soon after the music video for mascara dropped, hijinxx would release a four episode behind the scenes series of filming, practices, and more for each member titled to their respective suit. ( ex : micha’s episode would be titled ‘HIJINXX - ‘MASCARA’ BTS : DIAMOND SUIT’ )

even though there wasn’t much to say about ahyeon’s performance, she would gain more traction for her persona off stage. atinys and aces would bond over hongjoong and ahyeon’s friendship, the bits and pieces of the two featured in her mascara bts episode showcasing just how close they were. considering she’s the one who actively pursued their friendship, their moments were received fondly as the two truly seemed comfortable together. the recording process especially showcased this, featuring a now infamous moment of the two poking fun at each other in the studio. one atiny would post on twitter, ‘new drinking game : take a shot each time ahyeon says ‘joong-ah!’ every time he acts like a little shit LMAOOO 😭 i love them together <3’, the tweet amassing enough attention for even the ateez members themselves to pick up on the teasing.

[“The gender euphoria that I got from not having a period was like a wave of relief and comfort that helped me finally feel at peace in my body. Despite the fact that people of all genders can have a period, the highly gendered nature of the way society views the experience and the stereotypical association with womanhood made me feel incredibly othered and invalidated as a non-binary person. Being able to distance myself from this experience as an intersex person, though, while still allowing me to love the other parts of being assigned female at birth helped me appreciate my body and its existence outside of the biological binary.

Another aspect of my intersex puberty that delighted me was the thick body hair that earned me the nickname ‘Chewbacca’ from my family. While they definitely intended for it to shame and bother me, the moment I realised that I had more body hair than my brother I was ecstatic. I constantly had other trans people tell me that they were jealous of my body hair and how well it helped me pass when I presented as a guy. My body hair also enabled me to subvert the expectation that anyone could assume my gender based on my appearance – and the act of wearing a dress with my unshaved legs filled me with a sense of non-binary pride. Similarly, I had facial hair that was dense and clustered around my chin, jawline and upper lip. Sometimes I would shave, and shaving my face sparked a memory of my dad shaving his face early in the morning and smelling like aftershave for the rest of the day. I never considered that I would be able to shave my face too, and it became a gendered ritual that I never got tired of. Other times, I decided to make my facial hair even darker and more noticeable with mascara so that I could show off the way that my body naturally adorned me with hair. Rather than feeling pressured to shave or hide my body and facial hair, I figured that if my body decided that I should have it, who was I to argue?”]

While it was difficult reliving one of her most painful moments during her solo scene, her members, specifically Jeongin, were there to make her smile so she didn't get to sad and it almost made her laugh while recording multiple times

Aiko was also excited to have another girl to film with for obvious reasons. LiSA and Ai became friends quickly, and Ai's members said it was cute when Aiko got shy around LiSA since Ai is a very excitable person

Originally published: 23th of February 2021 Summary: Supportive gf and an eggy bf

It's been a month since I asked out my crush and we decided to go out.

A few days ago said she has something very special planned for me today. So we decided to meet in her house. I wonder what could that be?

I knocked on the door. Soon enough, the doors opened, with my girlfriend standing in the doorframe, saying "Hi, c'mon in!"

I entered her room, with her behind me.

"I'm gonna lock the door so no one bothers us.", she said, and took a shopping bag she had on her desk. She pulled a frilly blue dress out of it, and said "See? This is what I mean!"

"Ummm... I'm really happy for you, but I don't get what you mean. You'd look cute in anything, after all. That's how girls are.", I said.

"I was actually thinking of you when I picked it.", she winks.

"I... still don't get it?", I responded, with continued confusion.

"You know exaaaactly what I mean.", she teasingly said, "I can see the longing look into girls' clothes section when we go out shopping."

I gulped, and said "What... do you mean?"

"I also mean this festival of emotions of yours, whenever I am with my girl friends.", she said, "I'm gonna let you taste what you consider a forbidden fruit".

"I'm not a crossdressing pervert or anything! Besides, a lot of guys wonder how it would be like to be a girl.", I took offense to her comments.

"Yeah, a lot of them do. Which is why I don't consider you a pervert. Put on the dress."

"I would just look terrible in it. Like a guy in a dress."

"Don't worry, I will take care of that. Put on the dress while I'll prepare the rest."

While I was struggling with the dress, my girlfriend has been preparing concealers, foundation, mascara and eye shadows. Soon enough, I took off the clothes I had, aside from the boxers, and put on the dress.

She turned to me and said "Good, good. Now turn your head to my side and let me do my magic."

She spent a lot of time touching up my face, which seem to have taken forever. "Just a bit more", she said, while applying mascara on my eyelashes. Soon afterwards, she put a wig on my head, and put a hair clip on the wig's hair.

"...and, done!", my girlfriend proudly said.

I felt super flushed from embarrassment.

I lowered my head.

"Now let's see how you look", said my girlfriend, and held my hand while we walked to the other side of the room, and placed me in front of a full length mirror.

"I guess not, why would it bother me?", I deflected.

"I kinda have my suspicions. I wanna confirm it with you, but you'll have to be willing to experiment a bit with me.", she said.

"What sort of experiment?", I asked.

"We'll check whether you'll feel better when not being a boy."

"And how do we do that? It's not like you're some sort of magician who will turn me into a girl."

"Well, no, I am not. So I will need a bit of cooperation on your side, sweetie."

"Wait, what do you mea-", I got interrupted by her placing a finger on my lip.

"You're my girlfriend now, honey.", she said, "While I can't physically change you, I could make you feel like you're one, at least, for now."

"Ummm, but that would be just so weird!", I blurted.

"If you dislike it that greatly then we can stop as soon as you tell me.", she said, attempting to calm me down.

"Ummmm, no, it's not t-that bad, I guess, ha ha."

"Good. Just please tell me when you want to stop."

"Sure I will.", I assured her.

"With that in mind, we should try more things to get you in the mood.", she said, pulling adorable pink panties from the bag. She then said, "We should go all the way. With this you will gain awareness that you are a woman."

"Having second thoughts about that. How will I do that by wearing them, with what I have down there?"

"That's okay, we can hide it between your legs. I can help you, or, if you aren't in the mood for me touching you down there, you can do it yourself."

"It's okay, I think I'll do it myself."

So reached with my hands below the dress, and reached toward my boxers, and I took them off. Soon enough I picked the panties and put them on, carefully tucking 'it' away.

"I did it."

"There, there.", my girlfriend pat my head. "Good girl."

Why does that make me feel so warm?

"I-I'm feeling weird!", I whimpered.

"Oh.", she held her hand.

"I didn't say I want you to stop, though", I said.

And so my girlfriend continued patting me and calling me a "good girl".

A dozen minutes later, I asked a question.

"Say, if one day, a wizard somehow actually turned me into a girl, would you leave me?", I said.

"Oh, sweetie, is that what you were worried about all along? I like you for being you, for your personality. Whether you're a boy, a girl, or neither of those, I feel it would change nothing for what I feel for you.", she said, "for you see, I actually lied a bit before."

"What... what do you mean?", I asked worriedly.

"You mentioned that it's common for guys to wonder how it is to be a girl, and confirmed that. However, when I asked my guy friends, they deny that. One of them said he wondered about it just once in his entire lifetime."

Tears were forming in my eyes. I'm feeling so confused.

"It's okay, it is okay.", my girlfriend immediately went for the hug. "We'll figure this out together. You just need to be honest with yourself."

"Okay", I said.

This is from 2021. Wanted to at least try my hand at it again. I’ve regressed in writing in the past 3 years, but oh well. Well, save for dialogue, perhaps.

Curly blinks. His face felt swollen for some god-forsaken reason, and he couldn’t breathe. Angel shoves past him to get to the mirror, humming a brainless radio tune, tuning him out.

“The fuck happened to me?”

Angela shoots him a look while trying not to stab herself in the eye with a mascara wand. “You’re tellin’ me you don’t always look like that?”

“Fuckin’ hilarious.”

She shrugs and goes back to doing her makeup. “I know. Look, I don’t know what actually happened to ya, but it’s not worth your time whatever it is.”

He stares at his reflection. Squints. Tries to remember. “Think Tim’ll know?”

“Best to leave him be for now, Curls. He’s in one of those moods again.” She puts a smart-ness on the word ‘mood’ that implies it’s one of those moods.

“‘Kay. I’ll be at the Ribbon then.”

“Who, with Ponyboy?”

Curly kicks Angel in the shin and runs out of the bathroom before she can shriek.

“Y’know, this place is a shithole.” Curly’s kicking a soda can down the street and smoking a Kool. Ponyboy cocks an eyebrow.

“I can’t disagree, but what’s with the sudden realization?”

“Don’t know,” he says, blowing a smoke ring, “what other place in America can ya get the shit beaten outta you an’ walk home like nothin’ wrong’s goin’ on?”

“I can name a few places. Detroit, Chicago, New York—“

Curly smacks him upside the head. “Shut up, wiseass. I was bein’ rhetorical.”

“Do you even know what that word means?” Pony rubs the back of his head but has a shit-eating grin on his face.

“Careful, Curtis, or you’re gonna look worse than me.”

Pony laughs. Curly smirks. His face still smarts.

Curly comes home, drunk out of his mind. Angel has the T.V. up to full volume. Everything hurts like hell but he kinda likes it, in a way. He ushers Ponyboy in, who’s equally as drunk.

“Your brother home?”

“He’s home but he ain’t all here,” he replies. “C’mon, head up the stairs to my room. I’m gonna grab some food. Want anythin’?”

Pony shakes his head. “I’m fine.”

He heads up the stairs. Curly’s left alone with his ghost of a sister and whatever’s left of his brother. Ma is outta the house with “new man of the month” and will likely be back by the fifteenth, according to Tim’s assessment of her patterns. He’s got the same patterns too.

“Curly?” Pony talks soft, low, wavering on a middle step.

“Just go!”

He leaves. Thank fuck Angel ain’t known for her observation skills.

When he draws the curtains in his shared room with Tim, Pony’s already got his shirt off.

“Tim okay?” He signals to the pile of clothes crowding his side of the room. “One of the moods?”

“Yeah. He’ll clean it whenever he’s in an upper-mood.”

He scrunches up his face in drunk confusion. “He does uppers?”

“Nope.” Tim doing uppers would be a blessing. At least there’d be a name. “Not that I know of.”

“I’ll add that to the list.”

Curly squints. Pony smiles weakly and relents.

“Sorry.”

His face by the end of it all still aches.

Curly blinks again.

This ain’t even his story anymore, is it?

Presentation Notes

Shun Skywalker

Has said that if he ever lost his mask, not just Shun Skywalker but Shun Watanabe would cease to exist (that he would stop wrestling all together – but let me stress this, Shun Skywalker is not a man you should trust at all, he lies a lot).

When I say ‘odd’ I mean he used to wear a very bright green bodysuit and mask (known to fans as the frog suit) and would startle his opponents by doing this weird arms out pose and yelling “SKYWALK!” He also used to walk and stand in a weird way, which you might think was just how he is, and that it’s rude of me to mention this, but it was an intentional decision as it has returned alongside the bodysuit in his latest run as top nutcase of the promotion.

He may have seemed like he was a normal dude during his time as the leader of Masquerade until the Mascara Contra Mascara match of 2021, but it’s hard to ignore how Masquerade’s wore Venetian masks (to disguise their true selves) and performed an unnaturally perfect group entrance. This all being Shun’s creative decisions.

By him acting like a cult leader I mean he’s manipulative, possessive, toxic, hypocritical, eccentric and loud.

Shun Skywalker is not the straightest man on the roster, and I swear I’m not mentioning this because of my own preferences when it comes to what I like in my wrestling. This is a legitimately significant element to his character that you need to know about. The most obvious example of this is his relationship with Jason, which can be read as an abusive romantic relationship. This is merely a reading and not explicitly canon, but it certainly feels canon given the amount of support this reading has been given. This includes: Kzy on commentary comparing Shun’s behaviour to an ex-boyfriend showing up at their ex-girlfriend’s place of work just to “check up on them”, Strong Machine J straight up saying on commentary “ladies, don’t date a man like Shun Skywalker”, Jae on English commentary consistently making similar comparisons and even an article on Yahoo! News reading “Jason Lee breaks free from his deranged ex-boyfriend to join Natural Vibes”. Shun himself regularly uses romantic language and songs when talking or posting about Jason. Back before Jason returned to him, he would talk about how even though Jason had “broke his heart” he only loves him more and knows Jason will come back to him eventually, which he did. Jason is not the only man he’s made these sorts of advances towards, his most notable other target being Jacky Kamei. At a contract signing once, Shun said that he wanted to run away with Jason and Kamei and get married to them. He has a ‘type’ of man he likes to go after: cute face, deep thinker when it comes to their wrestling, pleasant but also capable of being malicious. This could be seen with his targeting of Yuki Ueno at All Together.

For the longest time he was billed at much smaller than he weighs, assumedly because every time they tried to weigh him, he just teleported away. So, he was 90 kg up until Dead or Alive 2024 where he was billed at 100 kg.

Has been compared to a variety of different animals throughout his career, from a falcon to a jellyfish to a goat and even a mosquito.

Yes, he pads his ass big time. I assume it’s because he lands on his butt for a lot of his moves. When you take off all the padding, he still has an impressive ass though…not that I would know or anything hahahaha-

Yes, Seiya Sanada as in the Sanada currently in Just 5 Guys in New Japan.

Fun fact: He trained at Animal Hamaguchi’s gym and was close with Shingo Takagi.

The same Kai who caused the Dangerous Tekkers kiss, thank him later.

Jason Lee

Everyone in Natural Vibes really seemed to love Jason, all having a soft spot for him. He formed the dynamic trio J.J.J with Jacky Kamei and Strong Machine J.

As previously mentioned, he was a part of Kung Fu Masters, but has since said he never wanted to be in the "dumb comedy unit" and hated every moment of it.

Used to occasional make appearances on English commentary alongside Jae when Ho Ho Lun was wrestling. Unfortunately, with his turn, it seems we won’t hear from him again. I personally hope he does just barge in when Ho Ho is gone and spend the time on commentary just shitting on everyone.
