Trying to make art fun for myself again:
This is how this ocean themed digital design I drew turned out on a mug. (I apologize that I can only seem to find the brighter, edited version of the design)
If you like this mug version and would like to purchase it, here's a direct link:
And here's the brighter edited version for anyone who likes more vibrant colours.
Being able to see what my designs look like on products is so much fun.🥰
If teenaged me could see me now; I feel like she'd be so happy and excited to know that I've made it to this stage and that I didn't end up giving up art for good. 💖
I really love drawing/creating nature scenes, but my all time favorite thing to do is put mushrooms in bizarre places in my artwork; like in an ocean setting for starters. 😆🌊🍄🍄🍄
That's all I've got for now.
Before I turn in for the night; I want to say that I really appreciate every one who gives my shop a look, reblogs, shares and any purchases-big and small- it's all so appreciated and it all helps so much!🥰🌻💛🌻💛🌻💛🌻
Take care and stay golden.💛

A trip down memory lane! Though the tower seems to have changed…
Celestial tower! Built during the direct aftermath of the Founding Unovan Civil War, it remains a cultural landmark in memory of those lost in the fire and storm.
Time has dulled the scars left behind by the twin dragons. Today, the tower is primarily used as a mausoleum (the preferred method of burial are urns) and, well, a tourism site. Legend says if you climb to the top of the tower and ring the bell, you can lay your ghosts to rest. But mostly? You can ring a GIANT bell.
Course, you gotta GET to that bell first.
Masterpost for more pokemon shenanigans here!

got a worm nibbling my brain. can someone help me find a piece of obscure media?
webcomic/indie comic from the 2010s. basically a sci-fi short story about a young girl (with red hair?) who was being raised by scientists as part of an experiment. she receives a haircut/has her head shaved, in preparation for her annual brain scan/testing. it is revealed that while her body is human, her "brain" is artificial, made of computer implants throughout her skull and spine. at some point her biological mother (also a scientist on the same campus?) encounters her and is repulsed, viewing her as a machine who has murdered her daughter.
it was very poignant and it bruised my heart and i can NOT find it anywhere

no one knows how much it hurts when a little thing dies. when a bug runs its fate is already decided. what made him know he could get away with hurting me? he made me small enough to forget i was ever a person. i forgot and forgot under his boot.

Hi. Here's some stress inspired art.
When you're having trouble with stress; turn it into a silly character and make fun of it.
Let this remind us that stress isn't the end all and be all of everything and it won't last forever.
And when you can't fix a problem right away, make fun of it until it doesn't seem so big.
You can do this.💛

“I wanna make art, but idk what people want to see from me—“ *GRABS YOU*
Do whatever you want. You have an idea? You plagued by visions? You got a special interest? You got daydreams about a oneshot you wanna write? Do it.
“But how will I know what gets attention?” YOU WONT. THAT’S THE DEVIL TALKING. Say ‘fuck it’ and make whatever. I make art cuz ideas fill my brain & if I don’t see ‘em with my eyes I’ll DIE.
Make stuff cuz YOU wanna see it. If other people’s eyes see it that’s cool too.

I love your unhinged energy of your comics it's just *chef's kiss"
I wanna ask how you rig your chibi characters if you use a program or an app ಥ‿ಥ
thanks! 💚💜💚
I use Spine (professional version)! I'm pretty sure it's the same program the Twst devs use for the chibis; I decided to try reverse-engineering 'em basically because my license was just sitting around gathering dust, and I thought it'd be fun practice (this was before I tried to rig Meleanor's cape). it is an industry-standard program and, unfortunately, is priced accordingly, so it's a bit expensive if you're not planning on using it professionally -- there is a free trial, though I think you can't save/export anything in it? BUT it is truly excellent and can do a ton of super cool stuff, plus is genuinely just fun to mess around in, so I 10000% recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting into 2D rigging!
behold...the BONES...Najma and her billion discrete tassels...don't pay attention to all the extra bones from my desperate attempts to control Meleanor's meshes

decided to join in on @quezify’s eggtober again this year as a little art warmup and I actually ended up really enjoying it!! it’s obviously way outside of my usual comfort zone so I’m very happy that I was able to create an end result that I’m proud of :)
