I had a realization about Modi.
Tumblr media
When you first go to Asgard as Atreus and meet Sif, she's angry at you, due to what you did to Modi. Which tells you she resented Atreus for what he did.
When you meet Thrud, she tells you no one liked Modi and that they're better off without him and actively tries to be friends with you, which at least tells you she didn't resent Atreus despite him needlessly killing her brother.
When you work with Thor the first time and he pins you to the wall with Mjolnir, he starts with "Modi had some problems." That and the first battle with Kratos tells you that Modi was regarded lowly even by Thor and Thor refuses to acknowledge his own role in Modi's death.
When you meet Sif again with Thrud, she angrily scolds Thrud and says that she shouldn't be with Atreus because of "What his father did." not "What he and his father did.".
and in Ragnarok, when you meet Thrud again, she says "You're a killer just like your father and you're here to kill us all." implying that she thought he wasn't a killer.
All of these facts point to one conclusion:
They never told Thrud what happened to her brother.
She thinks both her brothers died in battle. She doesn't know what Thor did.
Which makes sense, but also ...... that's fucked up.

M A G N I ; THE ELDEST
[ M | M I G H T Y | SON OF THOR ]
"YOU WANT TO FUCK ME SO BAD IT MAKES YOU LOOK STUPID."
-
Magni Thorson is...difficult.
To put it mildly.
That probably shouldn't be much of a surprise; being the eldest son of a God and a giant is bound to give someone a bit of an ego. Being the eldest son of Thor means that ego is - unfortunately - probably earned. And having your father, mere moments before his death, make a point to tell you what a colossal fucking disappointment you are? Well, that's going to cause enough psychological damage to last a lifetime.
So yeah, maybe you should feel a little bad for him.
It's just that - well, it's just that it'd be a lot easier to cut him some slack if he wasn't such a fucking dick.
He’s arrogant. He’s reckless. He’s kind of an idiot. He’s stuck in a perpetual cycle of act first, think later, but later rarely seems to come at all.
Sure, some people might say that it’s sweet how much he cares about his siblings, and sure, a person could argue that the stupid jokes he tells are occasionally funny. Someone might even find themselves thinking that they could possibly, eventually…like him. Maybe. If he ever shuts the hell up.
For your own sake, just make sure you never tell him that. He’ll be absolutely insufferable if you do.
(Magni is 6’5” / 196cm with a muscular build. He has jaw-length auburn hair, freckled skin with a tanned complexion, and lighting-blue eyes; you’ve heard it said that he’s the spitting image of his father when he was in his prime.
Said by him, so, you know. Grain of salt and all that.)

GoW: Modi
I am certain by now a handful have seen my replies to that post about Modi from another poster, but I would like to take the time to put together a comprehensive post about my opinions on Modi, my personal analysis, and general thoughts. Without too many "what ifs" about his potential as a person or character, and minimal speculation where possible.
So in this post we will be looking at Modi's presentation of himself in the 2018 game, what others say of him in Ragnarok, and his relationships with family as are observable in game. I will be injecting my personal views on the character, obviously, similar to the Magni post.
When we are introduced to Modi alongside his older brother Magni. Physically, Modi is the smaller of the two, having inherited less of the physical giant qualities than Magni. However, between them, Modi is basically a copy of Thor. His hair, eyes, and build come right from Thor, for better or worse. Usually worse, it seems.
Modi is very much the stereotype of an ignored middle child, with the high achievement older brother, and baby princess sister. Modi is mentioned last repeatedly by Thor, and I do fully believe that it has something to do with how he looks, and not necessarily his behavior.
It's repeatedly mentioned that Magni was the favored son, getting all the credit for rescuing Thor from rubble, when it was both him and Modi. Magni was the heir to Mjolnir for the longest time, being stronger, smarter, and generally "Better" than Modi. Part of this is because Magni is "blonder", according to Mimir. I mentioned in my Magni post that this favoritism could come from association to Sif, who was likely seen as a fine addition to the family, and her being blonde made others associate the blonde Magni with her.
Modi looking like Thor and bearing what seems to be the brunt of the abuse from Thor could be tied together. Modi even tries to emulate his father's clothing and tattoos. Even the mace he has, which is not a typical Norse weapon, if it was at all, mimics the appearance of Mjolnir.
Thor has intense feelings of self hate, referring to himself often as a destroyer, and he even says all he's good for is "pissing mead and killing".
Modi possibly reminds Thor of himself.
The disdain he feels towards Modi is likely not really about Modi himself, and more about Thor. Because it does seem he loved Modi, even if he couldn't express it due to his own hang ups.
It's clear Modi admires his father, dressing similar to him, styling his hair and beard similar to his, trying to emulate his hammer as best he can... And it seems up to the end, he was trying to make Thor see him and appreciate him and his efforts.
We also need to look at Modi's upbringing.
Thor and Sif were absent in the boys' childhoods from what we understand. They were drunk and abusive (Sif and Thor do recall kinder memories with the boys when they were young, but generally they seemed to be absent). This likely left Magni, a child himself, to fend for himself and tend to Modi. Modi likely spent a good chunk of his childhood with Magni.
He does clearly love his brother, panicking and being distraught when Magni is killed, implying they're somewhat close, at least for Modi.
Being raised by another child wouldn't have given Modi a good foundation for emotional regulation, which could very well explain his poor emotional control post Magni's death (along with fear around Thor's reaction of course).
However, being basically raised by Magni likely meant he was also abused by him, as Magni would likely try to imitate what Thor did, for better or worse. On top of the abuse he suffered growing up, Odin ensured the environment he grew up in wasn't a free one. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Modi, and by extension Magni of course, were subjected to very strict rules by Thor because of Odin. Odin did not like his grandsons, calling them useless in the first interaction we have with him in the game.
It's quite likely Modi had severe control issues.
Living in the shadow of your older brother, having to do what he and your parents demand, being beaten repeatedly... It's not surprising to me that Modi seems aimless and a little lost after Magni dies. And it would explain his decision to attempt to kidnap Atreus and force him to be his new brother.
Modi wanted someone he could control for once, someone small and vulnerable like he was as a child. Because you know Thrúd was off limits in that regard.
Thor would have killed Modi had Modi done anything beyond brotherly teasing and messing about. (For the record, I think Modi treated Thrúd well, given the fact that it seems she misses him. I think Modi saw his tiny sister and wanted to be for her the brother he didn't have growing up. Modi's intentions, perceived or no, with Atreus as "his new brother" are formed in terror and heightened emotion.)
Fear seems to actually be a major component in Modi's character.
Let's examine his weapons and fighting style first.
Modi sports the mace and shield. The mace rarely is used in actual attacks, aside from lighting. He primarily bangs on the shield with it to summon his lighting and presumably to taunt. Where Magni charges in, Modi seems to try and keep his distance and remain defensive. Lighting lands sporadically around him, adding yet another shield of sorts to hide behind. He does not like facing things head on like his brother. I'd even argue that in the fight with him and Magni, he uses Magni as a shield to get to Atreus, letting the older Aesir attack Atreus's shield, Kratos.
We can also examine this defensive behavior in how he talks to others.
He's wildly, and even unnecessarily abrasive. He seems to enjoy goading people, particularly Atreus when face to face with the boy. He seems to put up a front of being confident and cocky, but I don't think he really is. It's more likely he's emulating the older or more favored relatives around him. Thor's combat confidence (which is well earned on Thor's part because he is a tough one to fight), Baldur's taunts and goading, and possibly even something of Magni's cockiness.
In his last moments, in his second to last encounter, when Magni dies... In those moments we see the facade slip. We see him for what he is: a cowering little boy.
Tl;Dr: Modi, like Magni, is a victim of abuse. There is no denying that, especially as one of his last experiences was being beaten by his father. But he was just as willing and likely to perpetuate the abuse because it's what he knew and he wanted to take out his grievances on someone smaller than him. He's a brat and a bit of a creep. But it is also very likely that inside, he is just a kid trying to emulate his idol, his father

Gods of Disappointment: Pt 1: For a Better Future
Summary: (Through Thrud’s POV): The Thor family (besides Thor), escapes Asgard, and is in search for a new home. Thrud gets irritated from stress, Modi makes it worse for a moment, and uhhh yeah no that’s it for rn I think.
A/N: Uhhhhhh no one can stop me no one can stop me from attempting to explore a potential dynamic between Thrud and her brothers if they were revived, absolutely nobody can stop me, dear god, I hope I’m doing this right.
Tumblr media
Thrud had woken up in a daze, barely conscious enough to even function normally.
With her eyes barely open, she felt the sudden touch of hands grabbing her arms and pulling her up. Thrud subconsciously moved her arms and waist, ready to fight, until she heard her mother’s voice.
Rushingly, her mother whispered,”Thrud, wake up, it’s time, we have to leave now.” The girl’s eyes had fully opened upon hearing that statement.
The family had been planning for the last two years to escape from Asgard. Realizing how much the place badly influenced both Thrud’s father and brothers, Sif had been the one to speak her mind and tell Thor they needed to leave if they wanted a better future for Thrud. Thrud had opposed the idea at first, wanting to be a valkyrie, but quickly realized maybe it would be for the best if the family did leave. Although she still had a yearning for her grandfather’s approval, she did want a chance for her family to truly become one again.
Thrud had immediately gotten off her bed, opened up her floorboards, and exposed a backpack full of belongings she’d packed for whatever new home she might have.
When she turned to look at her mother, she noticed she was wearing a utility belt with her typical attire. Equipped to the belt were small bags of currency, first aid, and something else with a gentle wooden clang in it.
When Thrud was up and ready, so was her mother by the door, holding a lantern up.
Thrud and her mother ran out of the bedroom, past the halls, and out the building. Thrud felt a blast of the cold air on her face, and looked up at the night sky; noticing the dark clouds above. She could only think of her father and the possible outcomes of this.
Thrud and Sif ran past the dark training grounds, and to Gulltoppr- which everyone planned to steal from Heimdall with pleasure-. Holding saddle bags all over his sides, All were full of equipment and belongings of the family.
Magni and Modi were standing beside the cat, quietly bickering who should be in the front -almost getting physical like children- until both looked to Sif.
The two straightened up, Magni then mounted to the front, and Modi assisted his mother, then Thrud mount Gulltoppr. He then sat on the rear, holding onto the end of the set of armor the animal wore.
The air felt suffocating, everything was silent, and everyone looked in the direction of where Sif and Thrud had just left; all awaiting for the signal. The signal for safety that Odin would be distracted.
Thrud’s stomach churned, and her hold around her mother’s waist tightened, begging for some sort of relief.
BANG!
A snap so loud it echoed across the nine realms. A bright blue strike of thunder struck up into the sky and into the clouds.
“Go!” Sif yelled to Magni.
No time was wasted as Gulltoppr sprinted away from the direction of raging lightning and thunder. Off to the lift, away from Asgard, away from Odin, and to a future for the greater good.
“Wait, stop here Magni.” Without a word, Magni obeyed his mother, stopping the animal by a large tree.
It had been nearly a whole day of non stop running. Very short breaks were involved, and Thrud was hoping it was time to truly rest from sitting for so long. The girl was about to hop off with her mother until she was stopped by Modi’s hand on her shoulder. She looked back at Modi, and he was nodding a “no” at her, noticeably silent. Thrud sighed in frustration, and sat back down.
Sif on the other hand, hopped off Gulltoppr, reaching for the bag - with a gentle wooden clang - still on her waist. She opened the bag and pulled something small out that Thrud couldn’t see, for her mother’s back was now towards her.
Sif walked towards the tree, and subtly hid the object underneath one of the roots of so. She quickly got up, and mounted the back of Gulltoppr again.
“We will rest soon, we just need to make sure we’re out of sight from the ravens.”
The animal continued walking, and Thrud turned her head behind and stared at where her mother hid the object.
Why couldn’t we take a break here and then leave that thing there when we leave? What even is that thing anyway?
Thrud desperately wanted to ask her mother, but she knew she would only receive another “I’ll explain later.”
Thrud was already anxious from what was now almost a day ago- having seen her father’s lighting viciously flail into the sky.- She knew that wasn’t a good signal for him. In the end, all these questions and thoughts being unanswered made her stomach churn, and her fists clench.
She couldn’t even make conversation to calm her nerves down. Any with her mother would have typically turned into an argument, and gods forbid her brothers be in the same room when a conversation occurred, they’d both bicker and argue like two little girls over a doll. At least the little girls fought for something. Magni and Modi fought for the sake of fighting- and hardly ever did they fight with an actual goal in mind.
It wasn’t like things were the same as they were four years ago though. Thrud was glad about that. Magni and Modi’s deaths meant nothing to anyone on Asgard besides what was left of the family. Sif was destroyed, Thor was pissed and mournful, and Thrud was left conflicted.
She was only about ten years old when the word reached Asgard. She loved her brothers, but the emotions were barely there. Her brothers were nice to her growing up, but at the same time, they were hardly ever home by the time she turned around seven. After that, a strong distance grew between Thrud and her brothers, and it was never the same. Even after the two were revived some time after their deaths…
Thanks to Sif and her constant bartering with Odin, she convinced him to bring them back to life with some of the old magic he had known of. The spell however –due to not having any Vanir gods left in Asgard– was not the highest of quality. Magni and Modi were brought back yes, but their minds and bodies were… damaged, for a brief period of time. They were barely breathing, and for weeks, comatosed. They would awake, but have little memory of anything. Magni and Modi had to re-learn their names, family, how to read and walk again. Their minds and bodies did recover over time, but for that entire winter passing, Sif and Thrud were the only ones helping the two recover.
Sif drowned herself in guilt, having known she was partly the cause for this, and Thor seemed to have begun reflecting. He was mostly silent for the duration, but he had begun to stop drinking so much.
Thrud was glad to have her brothers back, and with how her parents were at the time, she really thought things would change for the better after everything. She was very wrong.
Thrud felt the sudden cold of a hand on her shoulder. Having startled her from her sleep, it was enough to make her twist and throw a punch directly onto Modi’s nose, throwing him off Gulltoppr.
His back landed on the snowy ground, nose clutched in his hand, and angrily yelled,“Uuuurgg, dammit Thrud!”
“What, you scared me!” Thrud’s irritation from before had quickly crept back again. She jumped off Gulltoppr and ran to Modi to check on him. “Don't forget who made me learn that anyway! Your and Magni’s pranks are your dumbest ideas next to trying to kill–” Thrud paused. Modi still on the ground, gave her the “go ahead, say it” look. She forgot she shouldn’t have brought that up to Magni or Modi. Not anymore. “Urrrrgh! You guys are so annoying!” Thrud remarked through gritted teeth. She grabbed Modi’s arm, leaned back, and picked him off the ground.
With his hand covering his nose, Modi replied, “Uugh, for the millionth time, we were joking!” He looked at his hand to see blood dripping off. A small “eugh” came from his mouth as he flicked some off.
“Yeah,” From her side, she pulled a cloth out of a pouch to give to modi. “Tell the little girl aspiring to be a valkyrie that they were all so prepared to fight,” she then handed him the cloth, to which he gestured his hand, refusing. ”’they’d wake up throwing punches.’” Thrud quoted.
Modi turned away from Thrud almost giggling, and blew blood out from one nostril, then the other. Through a slight smile, Modi responded, “You gotta admit, that was pretty funny.” He motioned for the cloth with his hand.
Thrud handed the cloth, “Not when you wake up almost punching your fucking mom, asshole.” She was about to throw a punch at Modi’s stomach until she heard her mother.
“Thrud! Language!” Sif’s eyes narrowed, and her eyebrows furrowed. A very audible and exhausted sigh flew from her breath. Bringing Gulltoppr to a cave, she continued, “And put on a coat. In case you haven’t noticed, we finally arrived in Midgard.”
Thrud hadn’t even noticed the cold when she woke up, and when she did begin to feel it, from the corner of her eye was Modi handing his coat to her. Annoyed, Thrud snatched the coat from his hand, letting out a small “thanks” as she put it on.
With the cloth still over his nose, Modi walked off to Gulltoppr to grab a new coat from his bag.
Magni’s back was already facing everyone as he was walking off into the deeper parts of the Midgaurdian woods, wrapping bandages on his fists;
And Sif was unpacking a couple things to camp for the night.
Thrud was clueless for a few moments. In an attempt to calm her annoyance down, she breathed the cold air in and sighed out. She observed her surroundings. The air was windy yet silent. It was clear fimbulwinter was upon Midgard still. Very little wildlife was out and about, only barely surviving trees and oversized rocks for miles. Sometimes, an occasional overgrown vine would be sat on a rock. Midguard looked almost like some kind of barren wasteland. Not the best first impression for Thrud’s first time there, but it would do.
Last second A/N: uh if you made it to the bottom, jsyk, I’m probably going to be switching povs pretty often so don’t expect just Thrud’s pov in the next chapter lol
Also school is killing me so I’m choosing to upload this now instead of a month bc UUURRRAAAUUUUGH
Thanks for reading >:D, I’ll make sure to make a master list once my second chapter is out 👍
Update: here's part two :D

Magni Thorson & Pregnant!Reader
Tumblr media
At first he would get angry. Super mad, what the hel, he doesn’t want a kid. Why would a god like him want a kid with you?
But then it hits him….you’re pregnant, because of him. It’s not your fault, he’s the one that came into YOU.
He’s a big douche, so at first you probably won’t see him around, but Sif goes crazy on him when she finds out and forces him to take care of you more.
The forcing soon turns into his own decision, he starts to fall in love with you and the thought of a child. The way you become so chubby, the waddling around the house, its so...domestic.
You can’t even fucking bend down to grab a sock, he has to do it for you, you NEED him. Of course that’s what he thinks. You don’t need him, but of course he helps.
He would eventually start leaving the house after giving you a kiss.
The sweetest kisses low-key. On the face, nose, forehead, lips. He kisses everywhere.
He would start rebelling more. He doesn’t wanna go out on dangerous missions and wonder if he’ll come home to see you running at him like a penguin.
When your child is born, he’s so nervous and anxious they don’t let him hold your baby until he’s calm and sitting down. They don’t want him dropping the babe :(
When he holds them, he’s so mesmerized with how small they are. How could this be possible.
He’s especially heart broken when his own mom tells him that he was once that small.
How can a huge man like him…be so small and defenseless like his child. Oh god he’s gonna protect them with his ENTIRE life.
Will watch you Breast feed, ‘cause he doesn’t trust your boob. You have to yell at him for some privacy, ‘cause he’ll just believe everything wants to harm this baby.
This man will NOT get up at night to calm the baby. He’s so tired and selfish.
To make up for that, he does often calm the baby during the day and change their diaper.
He does gag WILDLY. Like you can hear him from outside.
Baby onetime pissed all over him, so you taught him to gentle rub the babies lower belly to release the rest of the pee. Makes sure to do it for like five minutes.
He’s afraid.
Someone disrespected his family once and the man was never found again. Like ever. Not even blood. No one knows what happened.
Gets jealous when he sees the baby laughing widely while you’re making funny faces at it.
He’s not jealous of the attention the baby’s getting. He’s jealous, ‘cause he wants to make the baby laugh…not you :(
If the babe won’t stop crying? Easy. Let magni hold them. They calm down right away…Magni is just so soft and bear like. His boobies are squishy.
If your baby starts speaking? He often calls him “bear”, instead of “papa”
Magni is one fluffy bear.

Modi is smarter than we think
Tumblr media
Modi seemed like a idiot because he was trying to be like his father in every way.
But when I looked back at the scene where he attacks Atreus and Kratos I realised he was smarter than I gave him credit for.
Baldur, the Aseir's best tracker, had difficulty finding Kratos and Atreus when they were in their own home, and then never found them for most of the game and had to bring them out by attacking Jormungandur.
Kratos and Atreus only accidentally run into Magni and Modi while trying to get the chisel.
But after Magni's death, and without Baldur's help, Modi just..... found them, and deep in a dungeon inaccessible to most no less.
He might be a better tracker than Baldur.

Has ROs been in love?
ahhhh, love. l-o-v-e love.
MAGNI has never been in love, at least not fully. he's never allowed himself to, and hasn't even really had the time; his whole childhood was spent training to be a warrior prince, training for war. once the war passed his life became about protecting his siblings and fighting to reclaim their ~birthright~ so love became background noise. for how big that boy likes to talk, his experience is...a bit Less than expected.
MODI has been in love, because Modi is - or was, more accurately - the sort to give a little bit of himself over to anyone who offered a bit of themselves in return. true, deep love isn't something that he has ever experienced, at first due to a lack of opportunity (for the same reasons as his brother) and then later due to an unwillingness to open up at all.
THRÚD has been in love. very much so. and that's all she's going to tell you about it. don't even think about asking her again.
KATLA hasn't been in love. she's not the sort of person to settle down easily, very flightly and somewhat commitment-phobic. anytime hat she's felt loving someone start to shift closer to being in love with someone, she's packed up and ran in the opposite direction. if you ask her why she'll say it's because "love is too much work", and it doesn't sound like a lie but it doesn't quite sound like the truth either.
THE MARE has never been in love. they remember loving someone so deeply they could have died from it. they remember someone who loved them so deeply that they did.

GoW:Magni pt.2
So!!! I was recently informed that Magni is the only child that is not Sif's.
He is, in fact, an affair baby to put it nicely. The son of Thor and and giantess, Járnsaxa.
As confirmed by Sindri in the 2018 game "Sindri called the situation sordid story, sordid meaning "involving ignoble actions and motives; arousing moral distaste and contempt." This is a direct reference to Thor cheating on his wife Sif with Járnsaxa."
Magni was Thor's first child and thus defacto heir to Mjolnir, despite Odin's possible dislike.
If we assume the GoW lore has some accuracy matching the real myths, Odin despised Magni for being mostly giant. Magni was his first grandchild, and Magni was probably a disappointment to him out the gate, thus immediately straining his bonds with Thor.
Thor clearly favored Magni between his sons, but that doesn't mean their bond wasn't strained, especially with how Thor used to abuse him and Modi. But Magni's not only Thor's first child, but Magni was presumably stronger, and possibly smarter than Modi. Magni could have likely had a lot of his giant heritage close at hand, particularly magically. I don't know if he had Jötunar visions, however it's possible he may have to an extent, thus his cockiness in his fight with Kratos.
His fate to live through Ragnarok was seemingly assured to him, not just through prophecy, but perhaps by his own magic. He didn't realize he was up against a man who's entire thing is breaking fate...
But I do wonder what his status as an affair child and 3/4 Jötun meant for Magni in Asgard.
Did all Aesir and Asgard know? Was it a family secret? Did Sif try to pass him off as hers for the sake of Odin's image, or did she simply put aside her hurt and anger at being cheated on for the sake of a possibly abandoned/motherless newborn Magni?
Did Modi know? Does Thrúd know?
Modi's status as useless came from his cowardice and low intelligence, from his incompetence. Could Magni's status of useless have actually come from his heritage and the, essentially, racism he likely faced for being mostly giant?
Magni seemed more largely accepted between him and Modi amongst Aesir, and I still firmly believe it's because of Sif. Either people simply associate her and him because of their hair, or she put in great effort, even at her worst, to try and make sure everyone who saw her best qualities, saw those traits in Magni. Or at least orchestrated a positive association between him and herself to others. Perhaps many Asgardians don't even know Magni isn't her biological son.
Idk these are rambly thoughts at 3:30 am

OC Introduction - Magni Thorson (faceclaim William Moseley)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Born 481 years ago and the eldest son of Thor and Járnsaxa, Magni is (despite his bastard status) his father's heir unless Thor marries and sires a legitimate son, and as such he, along with his siblings, have been raised accordingly, growing up in the court of Asgard, Magni in particular being taught how to govern and navigate the politics of the Nine Realms - partly because Odin and Frigga privately despaired that Thor might never marry and wanted to have a plan in place for this.
Magni is well aware of this fact, but nonetheless has always taken his duties and responsibilities seriously. Yet this has not been easy, because a great number of people do not believe he should ever inherit the throne, and this sentiment grew once he discovered he had a great aptitude for magic, and decided to not just pursue this but to specifically train in healing magic, reasoning that any ruler should know how to protect their people in every way, and if he could heal his own wounds then any on-field battle healers would be free to help others.
With support for him diminishing and his relationship with his father become increasingly strained, Frigga made the decision to send him to Alfheim, where he has remained for the last seventy-four years, the only regular visitors from Asgard being his brother, sister, cousin, and uncle - Thor never made much effort to see him, and despite his best efforts Magni ends up resenting him for this. Being summoned home for the coronation is the last thing he wants - even the prospect of being formally named as the new Crown Prince of Asgard holds little joy for him, after realising that actually, the idea of going through all that only to be ousted from his position later on is deeply hurtful, especially when it's clear none of this means anything to his father.
Magni, though, knows his duty and attends the ceremony, only for Frost Giants to interrupt- then Thor is banished after starting a war with Jotunheim, and not long afterwards his grandfather falls into the Odinsleep, and then the realm is faced with a dilemma. For technically the throne is now Magni's, yet without being formally proclaimed as Crown Prince he knows perfectly well no one will support him.
And although it should be a relief when Loki is named King instead, Magni can't help but feel like there's something up with the whole situation they're in - and it's up to him, his siblings, and his cousin to try and find out the truth.
