Ok so ships and storyline are some what inspired by another story I read on Ao3 (I think it was ‘they set us up’)

So Marinette was emancipated when she was 16 after her parents started to believe Lila, they (Marinette, Adrian, Chloe, Luka, Kagami, Alix) defeated Hawkmoth the same year, and started the band soon after as something to fill the newfound time on their hands, they all wear costumes made by Marinette so no one recognizes them though, they all still have their own thing, Marinette: fashion, Chloe: working with Mari as a business partner, Adrian: Photography, Luka: creating instruments, Kagami: fencing and the family business, and Alix art and extreme sports.

They all move to New York to get away from Paris and start a new, About four years later (they're all 21/22) they’re all well-known figures out of the band but no one knows they’re in the band even though they’re well known around the world.

Chloe and her mother (who are close now) are invited to attend the Wayne Galla, and Marinette was supposed to go with them but she has too much work she can't put off, so the plan changes to just the two of them going.

Anyway, Chloe and her mom go there a few days early, while Chloe is out exploring Gotham she accidentally meets Jon, they get to know each other, and eventually decided to set their two best friends up.

So on Chloe’s side, she convinces the band to go on a tour to every city with a superhero/vigilante, the last two cities being Metropolis and then Gotham.

And on Jon’s side, Jon could convince Damian to go because he wants him to meet his girlfriend plus he could be closer to them as a civilian then as Robin (aka security)

So The meeting, I imagine it’ll happen before the concert starts and Damian is low-key checking Mari out thinking ‘Cute..’

And Mari’s also low-key checking him out back thinking ‘how can someone be so freakin hot?!’

Long story short, after a brief conversation,  him asking her out, and Chloe and Jon congregating themselves with a pat on the back, they’re dating.

I literally finished writing this and then I remembered Zoe ;-; (would’ve shipped her with Alix, idk why, I just would have)

Consider- Lukadrigami and Alyaninette on some form of a chaotic double date

This sounds absolutely chaotic

Nino and luka are busy listening to each others demos. Adrien and alya are either discussing deep anime meta or internet drama that they claim is super big but nobody else at the table knows what theyre talking about. Marinette and kagami are the normal ones talking about life and their relationships and the weather, showing pictures of pets and stuff. Of course they look normal but at the end of the night theyre on to their childhood traumas and they cry softly and hug when saying goodbye.

Anyway im imagining them at a restaurant. The staff and customers are both super confused at whose dating who.

Alya and nino share a milkshake because theyre iconic romantic adorable and also because marinette is a sugar monster and, not having any siblings, NEVER learned how to share. So she gets her own. However alya and marinette are holding hands when they get up, and theyre pretty sure marinette has kissed nino at least twice as she passes that side of the table.

Luka has a black coffee, adrien has the FRUITIEST martini and kagami has soda and occasionally a small glass of sake. Adrien is DRAPING himself across luka and kagami, and neither seem to mind terribly much. Luka plays with the back of adriens hair as he talks. Kagami kisses the back of adriens hand sometimes. When luka gets up he kisses the top of Kagamis head and she smiles embarrassed.

They order big platters of food to share as well as certain individual dishes. (Nino ordering a small plate of samoosas because HHH THIS PLACE HAS SAMOOSAS). The waiter is dreading having to seperate the bill for them but then this blonde bitch just pulls out his card and pays for EVERYONE. and its not a small bill. They arent going to complain though, he wasnt shy with the tip either.

ANYWAY its chaotic and adorable and i love these specific ot3s.

I’m conflicted on whether or not I should make things LukAdriGami in my rewrite. It would make it so there wouldn’t be a reason for Adrien to be written out of the finale. (He’s squarin off against the miraculized while Maribugs fighting a Monarch who knows her identity from Illusion. ) because they wouldn’t have to plan the London trip to make it look like they’re dating because they actually are. Even if there’s an Anarchist involved in their relationship.
