In s4 especially sam shouldve acted like Lucifer's twin. So when Sam finds out he is his vessel he literally freaks the fuck out questioning every aspect of his personality. His love, his hate, his dreams, his motivations. Then in s5e10 when they meet face to face their talk is just nail after nail in sams coffin about his self confidence, his beliefs.

Sam is Lucifers mirror. Sam believes in God and then abandons him when he sees what he had planned for him. Lucifer doesnt even need to pry to know Sam has lived a life identical to his own. That they are destined to be one in every sense of the word because they are made for each other and Sam is utterly repulsed. But he knows Lucifer's not lying becaus the angels all call him the Human embodiment of Lucifer, the Antichrist, the Boy with the Demon Blood, The Boyking of Hell.

Sams tainted and he releases that Gordon was right, that he was evil, that he knew it back then. Dad also saw that he was evil and needed to be taken out.

i’m watching lucifer (spoilers for s5e10 i guess?) and they go to arrest a chemistry teacher and

she’s just? slowly heating a precariously balanced round bottom flask of unknown liquid while she grades papers? for some reason?? ma’am if you want to get anywhere you’re going to have to open the vents & feed your flame some oxygen. we want a BLUE flame 

although the gas isn’t on so idk what she’s burning

in this shot the precious perch of the flask has been fixed by adding a stand & clamp. much safer. although i am suspicious of the unlabeled jar of mysterious white stuff

the gas still isn’t on though

when they try to place her under arrest, the teacher grabs the handle to presumably turn on the gas, but instead brings the handle around so far she just turns the gas off again? (handles at right angle to spout = gas off; handles parallel to spout = gas ON)

although maybe she’s using some sort of special public school set-up that has a MEGA GAS setting because she gets this

the gas is actually on in this shot, HOWEVER flame height adjustment is made by adjusting the valve at the base of the bunsen burner; that’s what’s actually controlling how much gas goes to your flame. 

......but either way the flame is never going to get that high. especially if you never open the vents to fEED YOUR FLAME WITH OXYGEN

lucifer puts out the flame by smothering it with his hand. this would actually work! you know, assuming you have fire-proof angel hands :)

....but then they just arrest her without turning off the gas. hope u enjoy a classroom full of flammable gas, public school children

man just rewatched s5e10 and I knew jo and ellen died but I forgot they died LIKE THAT, and then the colt didn't work so narratively speaking what was the point of them dying??? it's not even a satisfactory character death bc their death didn't accomplish anything significant, and lucifer still summoned death, so why kill them??? (it's bc they're sexist I know). also WHAT was the point of burning the picture at the end???? were they trying to emulate a funeral pyre, cause if so it didn't come across that way, it felt more like they wanted the audience to know that jo and ellen were disposable and that sam, dean, and bobby, and by extension, the audience, were silly for caring about them. like narratively it doesn't make sense, and the in-world logic doesn't work either bc what reason would they have for wanting to get rid of the picture??? wouldn't they want to keep it to remember jo and ellen by??? like the show establishes that bobby is a pack-rat so why wouldn't he want to keep that picture??? and we know sam and dean and bobby all care about jo and ellen bc the show shows us this, so why wouldn't they want to keep that picture? it doesn't make sense!!!
