(my dream was a commentary on the countries failures to manage covid) so i #usher my neohews and nieces out and i make a comment to my sister in law like ooh im scared one of them got bit and my nephew was like some #girl bit me at school today and i told his mum and i stayed in my room and like an hour later i rang her like whats the update #and she was like oh yeah and came into my room to find my journal on zombie stuff and sge was like should i just cut off his arm and i was #idk try but if that doesnt work youre gonna have to... and she was SO CASUALLL !!!! and as she was leaving she started like picking things #up off the floor and i made a comment like your sons dying and youre sweeping and she was like way harsh tai and i woke up #that one was a commentsry on covid and also how i might be too mean to my sister in laws sometimes #3) i was in a library with friends researching smth and some asian guy sits on our table turns his back to us and talks to his friends. #then he starts playing music loudly from his phone and i move back to my table and as im walking he stops me and starts talking to some #girl on the table next to mine who he knows and is like hey i have an assignment due where i have to write a compelling narrative from my #own life ur clever can u help and she was a stem girly and went highschool with me and she pointed at me like ask her she does english #and he was like no u just tell me and she started helping him but i felt the advice she was giving was.. bad. so i interrupted like dont #you think that you should do __ instead and we had a discussion about it till i woke up. < that dream was a commentary on how useless my #degree is and how i wish it wasnt useless

@'mdmcloset: No one does it like @'mdm! According to @'toryburch she was one of the first to reach out to Miriam when the theme was announced and they've been working together on it for months. Miriam designed the dress and in her free time (when she wasn't at grad school or out of town) she would go to the tory burch headquarters and sew. On top of that she also designed Uma Thurman's look. Both looks were made entirely by recycled garments and other materials.

Who do you think developed feelings first? Wei or Bolin? And which of them fell harder?

I think it's most likely that Wei fell first. I adore the headcanon of Wei following pro bending broadcasts and having a tiny crush on Bolin while Bo was still in the Fire Ferrets.

I think that crush did get extinguished rather quickly after Wei actually meets Bolin and sees that 'oh. He's a a dorky loser who hit me with a pebble'.

Only to fall back in love for realsies with said dorky loser. When Bolin starts dating Opal, I think he does come visit Zaofu often, which gives Wei a lot off opportunities to unintentionally fall for him.

Of course, I think being in love with his sister's boyfriend would be agony, especially that I don't think that he'd be willing to jeopardise Opal's happiness so he just conceal don't feels it. I could actually see him compensating by trying to be especially standoffish with Bo. Thankfully Bolin joining the Earth Empire makes it much easier to dislike the guy.

Disliking Bolin becomes very hard again once Bo comes to the Beifongs' rescue and gallantly catches Wei in his big strong arms 😔

As for Bo, I think he would struggle immensely with the idea of being attracted to another guy. I've said this a thousand times before but he strikes me as very comphet. Also hes just. Well he's kinda dumb sometimes ok?

I think his relationship to Wei would be very new to him since it would also differ from Bo's other love interests because Bolin didn't immediately meet Wei and decide to pursue him. (Which he seems to just sometimes meet a woman and decide. Yep I am going to build this relationship. Look at that comphet go.)

So Bolin is in uncharted waters here, whuch I feel like his self preservation insitinct (or delusion and ego) would just not allow him to realise that he's fallen for Wei.

But once those roadblocks are mostly sorted out. Oh it is full steam ahead, babey! Bolin definitely fell harder. Once him and Wei get together, Bolin is probably very big on pda and just absolutely ecstatic about all this. To the point where Wei, who is pretty used to being one of two and not getting individual affection gets very flustered and overwhelmed at times.

but yeah it flew right over my head unfortunately 😔😔 BUTTT given your explanation about it raising a question regarding the couple’s relationship, i ask the question of whether the reader’s sister ever felt ashamed of heeseung being her boyfriend. like yes we see that the sister gives him the unemployed sugar baby life very happily. but would u say deep inside, she’s embarrassed to be with heeseung? he is just a loser who happens to be very sexy in the story. and that’s partly why she doesn’t want to have his child?? it seems like readers sister is complete opposite of him and would not go for an unemployed gamer, so it coulddd make sense in my head.

WELL, reminder that i wrote this fic specifically for my oomfie, she gave me the general idea and I took it and ran with it in terms of dynamics outside of heeseung and reader.

in my opinion, regarding reader's sister, it's not that she's embarrassed to be with heeseung, they're just at a point in their relationship where things are just....there's a balance. of course, she takes plan b for her own comfort and safety because she doesn't entirely trust heeseung to like, not cross a boundary (he wouldn't, not with her anyway.)

for me personally, i believe reader's sister is simply idle in the relationship. she does love heeseung, but she loves the comfort more and the possibility of a future where he is also working and hopefully growing as a person too. at the end of the day, her relationship with heeseung is a serious one, but one that cannot last. she simply ignores the red flags for the sake of their comfortable life for the time being.

i mean, not only does she not trust her boyfriend to not breed her, but he's literally fucking someone else behind her back.

she's not embarrassed to be with him, she's just simply ignoring that they aren't compatible. she likes to be needed though, and well, heeseung def fulfills that.

CW: this is a vent post. it actually doesn't really mention anything too upsetting but it's very personal and will be long so I guess some won't want to bear that.

Yall is 'brother issues' a thing lmao bc the guy i've been talking about keeps making me feel that way 😔😔😔😔

OK so the first thing is the reason why i opt for brother issues rather than daddy issues is because i see him as a big brother, not a dad or anything. And i also don't feel anything romantic or sexual towards him, like in the other post, i only feel (and crave) family-like affection from him.

I guess it's partly because i dont have a big brother or an older male cousin, and during my childhood no one really considered me a boy, so i have always been craving to have a cool big brother or an uncle who will treat me as the boy i am and show me simple acts of affection that men often do to their younger male family members, like hugging shoulders, ruffling hair, sth like that...

It's so nice here when i grew up and escaped from that stupid homophobic and transphobic where i spent my whole childhood and secondary school years and studied in a place where i meet people who respect my identity and really see me as a boy. Including him. And it's not common for me to be closer than a mere acquaintance to a man who is older than me (most of my friends are my age or younger), so being with him makes me have feelings. Like i wanna be important to him so fucking bad.

The "he" in the two pics above is a new close friend of mine. We met in a language class where "he" is the student and im the teaching assistance, and tbh "he" brought me to hella places like bars and pubs and stuff where i had one of the newest and most exciting experiences of my life. "He" is also the person who helps me and the guy i have brother issues about to get closer like we're now. But i feel like the only reason why that guy gets closer to me is just because of "him", bc everything we talk about is related to "him" lmao (besides work ofc).

Earlier this evening, the guy called me out to have a talk, and he told me the exactly things i wrote in the pics above. The feelings i had that moment sucked so bad. I feel jealous over one of my best friends for having an older man considering "him" as a younger brother, i feel like a loser for having such a feeling.

I mean he cared for "him" so fucking much that it's so fucking obvious. And given that one of the main reasons we're best friends is because of out similar family background: we all have sth with dads--"his" biological dad left "him" and "his" mom when "he" was a small child while mine passed away kinda early (my dad was a very great man, but bc of his early passing away i kinda felt-- u know what i meant), we both have to try to work to earn money and support ourselves, and we always care for (and sometimes it even reaches 'stressing over') our moms and sisters. So when that guy told me he wants to help and care for my friend as much as he can bc of "his" family background, i just feel jealous so bad, and i hate myself so much for that yk. Watching someone having the things that u'll never have. im supposed to feel happy for my friend for meeting such a great man, and tbh i do, but still i cannot help feeling jealous and i fucking despise myself for that.

I'm not the luckiest person with romantic love (in fact, my love life is just a pile of mess) and i've kinda given up on finding someone who really loves me lmao... and now even this i can't have. I feel like i'll have to take care of myself forever🥲🥲🥲🥲 like having no one to care for you like that guy with my best friend... It's like i'll never have what i wanna have and it's my fucking fate to keep watching other people having what i desire. All my life i've just been standing in a distance and watching people having those of things, having a big brother, having a close-knit friend group, having a healthy romantic love,... fuck it sucks so bad i hate my life lmao

I think that Geralt is someone that Roche feels a particular sort of kinship with. While it's true that most of the time they work together it's not personal as much as it is having roughly aligning goals, Roche does seem to at least enjoy Geralt's company. Regardless, the relationship is mostly transactional and tends towards being professional.

But I think that there's something in Geralt which Roche is able to identify very strongly with. Childhood abandonment, difficult upbringings, adopting and nurturing young girls in violence bc it's the only way they know how (Geralt with Ciri and in the books, Angoulême, and Roche with Ves and Anaïs.) In the case of Ciri and Anaïs in particular there are quite a few more parallels (last heir to a dying throne, valued for the ability to legitimize a claim to a throne more than who they are) which I think Geralt and Roche would both be at least passively aware of.

Geralt is one of the few people Roche will just drop everything for. He's a friend, and we know Roche views people he's close with strongly. Foltest was a father figure, Ves and the Blue Stripes are his family, etc. I have no doubts Geralt is in there too, in some complicated category which Roche won't ever name.

When I spend quality time with my sisters but is like better when we are the three of us being weird and nerdy talking over the hobbies we share that is watching anime/movies and reading books, comics and manga and the fact that the three of us are already adults so we are not afraid of sharing and talking about the questionable content we watch/read.

3. Reading about my very favorite characters I bias in the silly romance games I play. For the kind of person I'm in real life (very black cat) I'm soo much into romance stuff and it makes me incredible fluffy to read about my favs and getting audios and text msj from this characters. I'm confident I can do a tedtalk about this characters and games or write a powerpoint and I think all this is very funny.

4. Dancing alone when nobody is watching and dancing to weird music like bellydance/bollywood/balkan/tribal and salsa/bachata/zumba/etc... I don't know how to dance to half of this but I'll do it anyway.

5. Makes me really happy when I get to interact with my mutuals here even if I'm really shy because I think everyone is soo cool and I'm a loser lol but I really really like and share stuff from my mutuals because it makes very happy and I agree with them. Also makes me happy when I post stuff and I get a ton of notes from people and is all very positive feedback and I love when people spam my notifications because someone liked absolutely all my post about an specific topic, this people deserve more love back 🫶🏼
