Things that could have been adressed in Loki series but were not for some reason:
Lokis Jotun heritage
Thanos choking Loki to death
Thor and Loki reunion and the sun shining on them again
Lokis issues with selfdaubt, feeling unloved, feeling evil, hopeless and helpless
Some more Norse mythology
Loki finally making a ONE goddamn healthy friendship
What we got:
Loki being side character in his own series
More trauma
Selfcest and Toxic friendship/workmate
Nothing from the past adressed except destruction of asgard whish is actually more trauma no healing
Woke female Loki variant that requires making OG Loki weaker and dumber so she could seem strong and girlboss

It’s never easy to know who to really trust, especially when it was the God of Mischief but who else could he go to. The team had gone out on a mission and Bucky had been left to his own devices for the time being. He had tried to entertain himself with a good movie but he had never really been skilled at sitting still or so long.
The former Hydra assassin hesitated as he stopped at Loki’s room. He knocked. Bucky was expecting to either be yelled at to go away or to just simply not get an answer at all and so he was genuinely surprised when he was granted permission to enter.
Pushing the door open Bucky was met with the deep green eyes of the Norse God. “To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?” Loki asked in a polite but almost mocking tone.
“I got kind of bored, care for a round?” He muttered in question, shrugging a little as he pulled out one of his knives from a hidden pocket.
Loki raised one very inquisitive eyebrow. It was rare anyone ever willingly wanted to hang out with him let alone partake in a practice fighting session. Usually because he had a tendency to stab his opponent in the back for the sheer fun of it. Naturally he had his own suspicions as to why the Winter Soldier wanted to spar with him.
All the same, the dark haired Asgardian pushed himself off the chair he had been sitting on and nodded. “Should be fun.” He said rather enthusiastically, which was a very obvious and swift change in mood.
Bucky put his hand out and stopped him from leaving. “One condition: no magic.” He muttered firmly to which Loki just rolled his eyes and sighed a little in annoyance.
“Fine, no magic.” He repeated before pushing his way past Bucky and leading the way down to the training room.
Once they had both stepped inside the tension between them seemed to shift into a more light hostility.
Bucky had his wits about him knowing all too well what Loki was capable of. He quickly unsheathed his knife and backed up away from the God who was grinning and making him feel a little uneasy, yet it didn’t falter his usual controlled stare that was set upon his expression. Nothing would, keeping his composure was a habit.
Loki, being the God of Mischief magically formed his two little daggers in each hand, flipping them in unison. “Care to start or should I?” He politely asked as he prepared himself, the slight mischievous grin pulling at his lips as he watched the soldier closely.
What could he say? Sometimes Loki’s charms got the better of him. It took him a moment to realise what he was trying to do. “That’s not how fights work.” He muttered, swinging his knife in an attempt to be somewhat threatening.
Loki sighed and without another word decided to make the first move. He lunged at the soldier in which Bucky blocked the oncoming blow with his own knife before throwing a fierce punch to the his gut.
The Asgardian stumbled back a little from the force of the blow, letting out a strained laugh. “You got quite the power punch for a mortal.” He said.
It was almost as if he was refraining from letting himself go. It was just training after all. Plus he knew Thor would kill him for deliberately injuring the Captain’s best friend.
“I’m a super soldier, enhanced strength comes in the deal.” Bucky replied before he sliced the knife through the air in hopes of catching the God on the side of the face.
Loki of course dodged it with ease, lifting one of his daggers to block the attack only for the soldier to drop his knife out of his hand and catch it in his lower other one before swiping across and nicking his side.
Loki barely winced at the scratch but felt it, looking down in surprise before backing up. “What was that? Your signature move?” He asked sarcastically.
Bucky huffed gently, pulling away and taking a moment to give Loki a moment to heal. “Also comes in the deal.” He responded.
Loki raised a single eyebrow in the soldier’s direction. “Oh of course it does.” He murmured with a gentle smirk. “Like mischief comes in mine.” He added, disappearing in front of Bucky’s eyes and then reappearing behind him and wrapping his arms around him, resting one of his daggers against his neck.
Bucky barely had time to react and when he felt the cold metal pressed against his windpipe he froze, a growl rumbling through his throat. “You promised no magic.” He spat at the God.
“Firstly, you didn’t specify what kind of magic I couldn’t use, secondly, I am in fact a trickster, so promises are never set in stone.” Loki replied skilfully, unable to keep the grin from face as he placed his free hand on Bucky’s side.
The soldier stiffened, there was no way in hell that he was thinking what Bucky thought he was thinking. “Loki.” He said warningly.
Around that time, you had just arrived back at the compound, a little sour in mood but there was a reason. Steve had banned you from the mission after you had accidentally lost control of your newfound powers. He knew wasn’t like you had meant to cause any problems, but for the safety of everyone he had sent you home.
You made your way towards the training room since combat training was the only way you knew you could blow off steam without risking your powers unleashing.
Pushing the door open you walked inside, pulling your cape off of your suit and throwing it on the bench, barely even noticing the two men standing in the middle of the training mat.
“What’s the ma—” The God began but was quickly cut off when the sound of someone pushing the doors of the training room open caught both their attentions. Loki pulled away from Bucky in a hurry, spinning around to look at who had intruded on their session.
Bucky hastily stepped away from Loki and looked over his shoulder. His brows furrowed in confusion as he turned around to look at you properly. “Y/N, what are you doing back?” He asked with a slight tilt of his head.
You almost jumped, looking up quickly at the sudden sound of the older soldier’s voice. The moment your eyes landed on the God and the Winter Soldier you relaxed a little.
Loki watched you closely with his piercing green eyes as if he was trying to read you or something. In all honesty it made you feel a little unsettled but you brushed it off as him just being curious and so you shook your head and turned your attention back on Bucky.
“Steve benched me.” You replied simply to the soldier’s earlier question, not wanting to make a big deal about it.
Bucky walked over to you, his expression clearly saying that he wasn’t convinced with the answer you had given him. “Y/N, What happened?” He pushed, keeping his eyes firmly locked on you with all intent to find out the truth.
You sighed, lifting a hand to rub the back of your neck, giving in. “Alright, alright I might of lost control of my magic.”
“You know, if you had allowed me to teach you when I first offered this wouldn’t of happened.” Loki spoke up, turning away from both you and soldier as he magicked up his daggers and twirled them between his fingers.
You felt a pang of annoyance at his words and couldn’t help but scoff. “I already did! You turned the lesson into a prank war.” You retorted, crossing your arms and glaring at him.
“What is this lie? I most certainly did not.” Loki claimed, not making any move to face you.
You only became more annoyed by his stubbornness. “It’s no lie! You most certainly did and I won.” You replied mocking his words.
The raven-haired God stopped flipping his daggers and half spun around on the spot, looking down at the floor then up at you with that mischievous glint in his eyes and that infuriating grin. Either way you could feel yourself growing increasingly nervous.
“Oh? Did you now?” He asked, meeting your gaze with an expectant eyebrow raise.
Bucky was having an internal debate on whether to break up whatever this was but instead he kept quiet and watched.
“If I might recall you were the one who begged me to stop when I tickled you.” Loki pointed out slyly, his grin only widening.
Something inside you twisted and in that moment you lost it, a little burst of anger helping you to charge at the God, swiftly pulling out a knife from your pocket and holding it up against his neck while you drilled your gaze unit his. The only problem was there was a faint blush on your cheeks.
You opened your mouth to say something but nothing came out which only encouraged Loki’s eyes to shimmer with amusement.
“I must say, Y/N, your laughter is very beautiful.” Loki said teasingly although he meant it genuinely, making his daggers disappear so he could hold his hands up in mocking surrender.
“S-Shut up.” You hissed, pressing the knife closer to his neck. “No one else is meant to know, you promised you wouldn’t say anything.” Your tone was almost a desperate hushed mutter.
The Trickster smirked and gestured over at where Bucky was standing who was watching you both closely, now his brows farrowed into confusion and curiosity.
“What’s going on?” He asked, moving over to the pair, his gaze searching yours.
“Nothing!” You said a little too quickly stepping back and turned away from Loki. Bad idea though because a second later you felt a sudden squeeze to your sides which made you let out an embarrassingly loud squeal.
You spun around, smacking his hands away and glaring up at the God with a warning look. “Don’t. Loki I swear.” You scolded, backing up onto to feel yourself being blocked by someone.
Turning your head slowly you see Barnes grinning down at you. “Loki and I don’t agree on much but I think we can both agree this will be fun.” He murmured, his words making your stomach drop.
Out of pure instinct you pulled out a second knife and went to try and threaten them both off by slashing towards them but both easily caught your hands before your could plunge the knives into either of them.
The grip they had on your wrists was so tight that you dropped both the knives. Then, with a fair amount of effort they flipped you onto your back and pinned you to the mat.
“Get off me!” You demanded, feeling panic rise as Bucky moved to hold your arms above your head. “Let me go or I’ll end you both!!” You threatened, fighting against the super soldier’s strong grip.
Loki onto let out a huffed chuckle. “Ooh big talk coming from the one who is currently on their back.” He taunted, poking your side and making you flinch.
“Mark my words I will get you back for this Laufeyson.” You growled, trying your best to glare although it very quickly broke into a struggled smile, bitting your lip when the God traced a finger over your stomach.
The dark haired God smirked deeply as you began to squirm under his touch. He then suddenly went ahead and skittered all his fingers up and down your sides. You squealed again and couldn’t help but burst into childish giggles, a blush rising over your cheeks again.
“No- Lohokihi!!” You protested, pulling against Bucky’s hold to try and break free but having no success whatsoever.
“What’s the matter?” Loki cooed.
He climbed his fingers up your ribs, chanting ‘tickle tickle’ and emphasising the words by slowly digging into each one individually. You twisted your body in attempt to ease the torturous sensations, your laughter only escalating the higher he climbed.
“Beg for me.” He commanded lowly, grinning when it caused you to deeply blush and shook your head stubbornly, refusing to give him what he wanted.
Bucky just grinned down at you, finding the entire display rather entertaining. “Wow, so sensitive.” He muttered. Loki nodded.
“GEHET OHOFF MEHE!!” You demanded.
It was not the kind of response Loki was expecting and it caused his brows to rise in surprise. But he only chuckled mischievously and lowered his hand down quickly and hovered over the edges of your lower abdomen.
Your eyes widened and you shook your head, loosing all of your composure you had been holding onto as you tried desperately to escape.
Loki met your panicked gaze with his unbearable green mischievous eyes. He knew what he was doing. “This will make you beg.” He murmured with his ever present smirk.
“No Loki don’t- NOHOHO!!” You threw your head back and screamed the moment he drilled his thumbs into those particular spots, your laughter erupting into pure hysterics.
You bucked you hips wildly to pathetically try and ease the overwhelming sensations. You took it until you couldn’t. “OHOKAHAY STAHAP!! STAHAP LOHOKIHI PLEHEASE I- I CAHAN’T-” You finally begged.
The God quickly pulled away, standing back up and dusting himself with a satisfied chuckle. “You alright?” He asked, offering a hand out to help you up once Bucky had released you.
You lay there greedily gulping in air, taking a moment to regain your breath and composure before nodding and accepting his hand, the smile on your face not leaving.
“Right so, I get why you didn’t want to tell anyone, quite a weakness you for there Y/N, can’t let the team figure that out.” Bucky noted, to which you couldn’t stop yourself from blushing at his words.
The three of you all lifted your heads when the sound of Steve’s voice echoed through the compound. You were still out of breath from the previous tickle attack but you’d probably just chalk it up to a hardcore training session.
Loki nudged you gently. “I won right?” He asked, just wanting to hear you say it.
“Yes Loki, you won.” You muttered, deciding it was best you give him what he wanted, just so he would spill the beans to the rest of the team.
Loki smiled brightly and Bucky patted your shoulder before you lead them out of the training room and up into the main area where Steve was standing.
“There you are I just—” The Captain cut himself off when he saw both Bucky and Loki trailing closely behind you. “What is this?” He asked suspiciously, crossing his arms.
Your mind suddenly raced, a moment of panic racing through your body but all you did was smile gently and shrug, glancing over your shoulder at the older soldier and god.
“Training session with the knife-bros.”

More of the Takia Tom drama crap when there is NO evidence of anything. Plus its Marvel that schedules the promotion which was very light with the heavy lifters being Takia, Chris and Jeff. Reason Dark World was Tom heavy and Chris light was because Chris was working on another project. No proof at all of any drama, just fans creating some because they wanted more Tom. And FYI via polls Loki is still more popular then Thor. Having said that I do believe that Tom&Loki desevers better from Marvel.
Well I don’t like fabricated drama either. Taika is my man, Chris is my man, Tom is my man. If it wasn’t for Taika we wouldn’t have Ragnarok and that’s it. I loved Loki in The Dark World too, his part was the best, perhaps THE ONLY good thing about that film (and Thor in the scenes with him but ok).
Thing about Ragnarok is that EVERYTHING was perfect about it.
Sorry if this is my kind of superhero film, but it just is. Same as Guardians, same as Spiderman:Homecoming. Funny and dramatic and heroic. But mostly funny. And if the Russo brothers can pull a Winter Soldier/Civil War character drama on us with Infinity War, well, even better.
Exactly, it’s all a scheduling thing. I like my crazy headcanons and my crap theories but I’m only interested in the sexy parts, not the “who’s a bigger star” stuff.
Wow I hadn’t even noticed “The Dark World” was Chris light, thanks for pointing that out.
Well fans wanting more Tom should probably wait for that long-awaited Loki film like I do… I know fans who called Marvel cowards for not giving them a stand-alone Hulk film and instead “resorted to his appearance in Ragnarok”. So what? An early draft of Ragnarok was about Thor and Dr Strange, not even Thor and the Hulk, so honestly who cares what fans want, the result is the same: a brilliant film. I don’t always get what I want, that’s why I write and draw, and make sure to never pay for another ticket if  the final product doesn’t leave me satisfied. It’s all cool.
Yeap. Loki is stil super popular, but as I always say this is not a contest between Thor and Loki, who cares. I don’t.
I don’t want any of the “Loki is better than Thor” stuff, this is 100% a Thorki blog.
Not a Thor blog.
Not a Loki blog.
And weird as this sounds, my main crush is Loki but I’m partial to Thor. Does that even make sense? Lol. Maybe because I relate to Thor more as a character and at the same time I find Loki hot af. You know, sometimes in fanfiction you identify more with one of the guys and have the hots for the other, that kind of thing. Although I must admit when I write or think about them I’m head-hopping like crazy, unable to decide whom I like more.
I won’t pull my punches for them and I’ll take things as they come. I have my headcanons to make things right if Loki is not enough, so I’m cool.
So there’s no point in pulling a “Marvel vs DC” type of thing, we’re better than that. I’m always ALWAYS open to conversation here, it’s what I love most about tumblr and I’m open  to ALL kinds of opinions (even if I don’t agree with all of them) because I loooooove talking to people and discussing theories and characters, but while we are fighting over who’s better, who’s more popular, who should have more scenes in the film etc etcMarvel and DC are over there making more money. Our money.
Anon, I don’t know what your headcanon for Loki is, but yes he deserves better from Marvel. They’re always milking the Loki cow without doing much themselves, do they?
