because i am sickeningly fascinated with shadowvanilla's dynamic and am also fascinated with translation and linguistics, i've been using machine translation and my basic grasp of japanese to look through their kr and jp interactions. it's mostly for fun and curiosity and the nuances are definitely lost, so take them with a pinch of salt, but here's some interesting little tidbits:
in both kr and jp, when pv asks who he is, sm says something along the lines of how pv has been 'in my space, in front of my gaze', which feels a little more specific than the english and also makes it seem like sm has a claim over the space. interestingly, this is still followed by him later explicitly referring to the space as the abyss of pv's soul - though in kr, sm may call it 'where i looked into the abyss of your soul' rather than pv's soul itself. I don't have the korean knowledge to be able to try and verify that, though it would make sense, since the space is also supposedly the dark side of the moon
(though if it is the dark side of the moon, why is pv always there for his breakdowns? and if it is the abyss of pv's soul, how is sm there? through soul jam magic nonsense??)
when talking about their power, jp and kr describe it as 'the power you mistake for truth is just dancing in my giant palm of knowledge', which is really just a difference in metaphor but does give some cool ties to sm's whole puppeteer theme
in kr only, sm specifies that pv has never left his sight 'from start to finish'. it was kind of implied in the use of never anyway, but i do find the specification interesting, even though it still doesn't really give us any pointers as to when this supposed start is
in eng, after complaining about how pv snatched away half his power, sm laments that the light of truth didn't make pv any smarter ('baffling! befuddling!'). in jp, he specifically says 'after all, you are not a vessel that (can) hold the light of truth...so i'll take it back'. in kr, he says something along the lines of 'after all, you are not smart enough to hold the light of truth...i need it back'. the latter two are pretty similar, though the switch from take to need caught my eye
actually, it may just be the change in vocal delivery, but it feels like in kr and jp there's a more heavy emphasis on pv's intelligence? or it's a connotation thing since i'm more familiar with eng - generally where eng uses silly, jp and kr downright calls pv stupid and repeats things like 'how am i meant to explain this to you?' and 'do i have to explain in detail?'. very bluntly condescending, on all fronts, really hammers in the whole 'i am the master of knowledge itself' thing.
in both, when gingerbrave asks what sm did to pv upon waking up, sm says that it's been a while since they've met and that they 'spent some alone time together'. again, the gist is the same as him calling it having a little chat, though it emphasises alone and not much else. japanese in particular uses 「ふたりきりの時間」, which literally means "time for just the two of us"
after the biggest liar question is raised, where eng goes 'well well well", jp and kr ask 'are you worried?'. same taunting undertones.
when pv answers that he is the biggest liar, where eng says he 'really knows his stuff', kr and jp specify that pv can 'understand the intention of the person setting the question (sm)! amazing!' in jp, the verb 「理解しあう」 is used, which specifically means 'to come to a mutual understanding'. this is particularly mocking because sm essentially handed pv the answer by bullying him into it
in eng, the chapter title for their confrontation in the abyss is 'sweet whispers of lies'. in kr and jp, it's more along the lines of 'in the comforting embrace of lies' which. somehow sounds more intimate and is somehow even funnier. girl what comfort. that was five minutes straight of pv being subject to torment and ridicule.
it's not anything groundbreaking - and again, likely not fully accurate - it's just interesting to look at the little differences! it's also interesting to hear the differences in vocal delivery too. when the 'light of truth' is goading pv to cut the tree, in jp it sounds pretty mocking, like in eng, but the original kr sounds more... urgent? not quite coaxing, but definitely more encouraging. also, i haven't taken a look at the text, but if you haven't, i would highly reccommend listening to the taiwanese mandarin dub too because it's a lot of fun! sm's line delivery is a lot more aggressive generally, but his va is obviously having a ton of fun - he inserts a lot of additional laughs and huffs and general vocal character

Bringing my sin to the light
Dear man of many faces and user identities who cares more about his money, fame, and fading career than he does the actual people he claims to love...if you do not leave me alone and quit stalking me and my family, including my mom and daughter at different times, I will publically accuse you of what you've done basically since 2008. I will accuse you of being the "strap man" on youtube all those years ago...and having a sick fetish for little girls who wear guitar straps while they sing and play because, ya know, in your own words..."They sing and play better with a strap." But everyone knew you liked bondage. You really thought society was plum stupid, maybe you still do, maybe you think I'm a stupid commoner and that's why you can get away with doing this to me. I will accuse you of being the fake FBI agent who contacted me with threats because I wouldn't believe your fake story about your brother who was actually your alter ego also catfishing me. I'm sure in your dark, sexual-laden haste, over the last decade you've been catfishing me online, you've left some sort of trace...and I've saved EVERYTHING. I'm tired of your virtual games and your evil energy coming at me. I know you practice satanism or such stuff and I know you hate to see me happy or see Jesus bless me because you seem to hate Jesus more than me, but I will pray for your broken soul and ask you nicely to leave me alone...for the final time. But if you proceed to be obsessed with me and pursue me, after I've made it clear I do not want to be with you, then I also will make sure your mom knows about my accusation against you. Seeing as you said you told her about me...all the while, you stalked my mother via her Facebook and also catfished her as part of your twisted, psyche games. Did you happen to tell your mom the truth about how you've been obsessed with me and chronically stalked me for years online? Didn't think so. Now, I know that selling your soul to the system of man to gain fame and fortune is what did this to you, and I know that misery loves company, but I will not be dining in hell with you tonight, so please for the love of GOD, leave me be. If I hired someone to thoroughly dig into this, despite you using your drawer full of burner phones and fake numbers over the years, somewhere along the way, you've left little bread crumbs of your devious doings. I'm sure of it. As well, you admitted to me in your own, twisted way that I was right about who you are, but of course, you never would come right out and confirm the truth even though we both knew I knew...you would only drop blatant clues and then keep playing cat and mouse with my heart and mind. I guess this is why you were always afraid to tell me the truth about your identity because even you knew that lying and manipulating me all these years was shady and probably not something I would easily forgive. You're right...I won't forgive you. You're the one person I will never forgive. I will take my reasoning to judgment day with me, I guess. But I will not spend my life looking over my shoulder for the virtual boogieman. I felt for you the same way a person would feel toward their captor. You had me between a rock and hard place so I falsely fell for your lies. That's on me. That was my fault for being so stupid. I did wrong, too. I'm not saying I didn't. But I'm ready to move on and be finished with this dark chapter of my life. I don't want to pass your test anymore. I accept the failure of not being compatible with you, maybe it's time you accept it, too. Just because Adam used his real name in social media when he was contacting that model -- which made it easier for him to be discovered and get caught -- and just because you were smarter about being a stalker by using alternate identities and catfishing as your sole method of approach and engagement, doesn't mean you won't get caught and discovered, too. It won't be as transparent as it was with Adam...just attaching that shit to his name, I'll give you that, but you're not invincible.
Let this be a lesson to anyone reading...if you dance with the devil, you will get burned.

Cinder's actions in retrospect
For most of us volume 8 is over already and now we are left with the hiatus and lots of information to process. And if there was one character most debated about it was probably Cinder. Some said the last episode ruined all of her depth the earlier episodes had built. Sounds oddly familiar if you think back on volume 4 and 5 and how most of the fandom reacted there. But I'm not here to talk about people's inability to understand forshadowing and character growth in negative and positive directions.
I am here to talk about Cinder's behavior. Mainly onward from after the hiatus. I already saw plenty of takes calling Cinder cold, unfeeling, selfish, irredeemable and yes, Cinder is a villain, but she is also human. This volume wanted to show us that even more. It is supposed to lay a foundation. For years people claimed Cinder fans were reaching when we called the child abuse and her trauma dictating her quest for power and I don't expect it to change now, but how about we view our dear Fall Maiden's behavior from a different angle.
We know Cinder was chewed out by Watts, had to make good on her deal with Neo to get her on board, had a breakdown beforehand and lied to Salem.
Now let's think about this from the idea that Cinder actually liked Neo more than she liked to admit. They had their own unique and sassy dynamic going on.
Tumblr media
Before anything turns south for her, Cinder is sent to get what she wants after being tortured and gently prodded by Salem. Then the Whale blows up and she doesn't get an answer from anybody leaving her with Watts, who starts to rip into her and her deepest fears, making her cry and tells her that her trauma means nothing. And then someone does message her and at first she is relieved, until she sees it's content, Neo has betrayed her, stolen the relic to blackmail her, with her very own life at stake.
Tumblr media
So not only was Cinder incredibly stressed, she was emotionally vulnerable at that. Everything seemed to unravel. She was constantly failing, her past began to catch up with her...she was right back at the place where she had been...a scared helpless child yearning for love and freedom and people telling her she would need to be better, smarter, stronger, worthy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Neo messages her and something inside her cracks. She doesn't know why it bothers her...why it hurts, but it's there.
And yet when they meet, her child theme plays in the background. She acknowledges that maybe...she was at fault here...that she hasn't been a good partner. That she hadn't kept her word....
Tumblr media
She apologizes. She means it. This is fixable...she still doesn't know why she cares at all...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and then she finds out Emerald betrayed her as well. Someone she never gave any reason to do that in her mind. Something unexplainable...personal even. She saved Emerald...did what Rhodes didn't do for her...and she was still left for Ruby and her merry band of all people. The person responsible for Cinder's gravest loss in her mind. Everything feels like a lie. Emerald lied. She didn't care about her like she always said she did. Those were just empty words. it hurts even more this time. Cinder doesn't know what it is, but she doesn't like it. It weights on her. Anger would be easier and safer to deal with, but it never worked in her favor. She feels out of control.
If Emerald was able to betray her...then so would Neo...she already proved she could and would. They both didn't care about her at all. Emerald brought her back to the Whale to be tortured and Neo stole the lamp ready to have her killed by it.
So if she couldn't trust any of them, this time she would be one step ahead of them. This time she would betray them first before they would get another chance to hurt her.
She would cut herself free from all those strings that got wrapped around her heart.
Tumblr media
She gets Neo to fall into the void and at first it feels good. She can't ponder over her feelings at the moment. She is on a tight schedule here. Cinder feels Salem returning, everything falls into place just like she hoped and wanted. She doesn't get the powers. It stings, but she needs the relics more. She needs Salem. A fact she had tried very hard to drown out, had wanted to grow out of, but this worked better. She was better, stronger, worthy.
She summons Ambrosius and barricades Watts into the control station, locking him into Atlas like the Atleasians Elite he was. The man who thought his own drama outweighted Cinder's. Who called her suffering little. Looking down on her. Ripping away on her until she broke down in tears. Who dared to make her feel vulnerable. Who made her cry.
Tumblr media
Cinder is done trying to find herself. She has gone back to being the most competent version of herself. The one that imitates Salem. And extension of her master.
And one day she will realize that this is not what she wants at all.
So those were just my humble thoughts on the matter, seeing as the Cinder tag will be swarmed with hate posts again, I thought I share them. Stay safe Cinder fans.

THANK YOU for saying all of that about the sk8 fandom. I think it's mainly because it's a young fandom with a lot of young people, but yeah, they have zero chill. It gets kinda annoying when you actually stop and think about the show and realize that a lot of things are just,,, not the way they think they are/should be
Also, I have compared some Reki and Langa scenes to rinharu scenes, but it's mostly because I see them and think "nice reference Utsumi" because they remind me of them so much, but to say RL are in the same level as them, or any other couple they've compared then to is kind of a stretch. Reki and Langa are, at best, a very very tame version of any of those, and while is see why they would focus a lot more on the puppy love thing they have it really pales in comparison (although they don't really compare it to free! because they're so hellbent in calling it queerbait as though half of the scenes they claim are so romantic did not also happen in there before, because they really don't understand how romantic coding works in anime).
Anyway, your blog is amazing :)) You always come off as a very smart person who is also just so done with people's stupidity and I'm 100% here for that haha
Haha no problem, needed to get it out of my system anyways. It’s true, but also once again being young shouldn’t always mean you’re that stupid, let’s be real here. And if you are that stupid, they need to know about it at least, so next time they’ll maybe think twice before saying stuff they say.
Their main problem these days is their herd feeling, it’s like one says smth stupid, others, having no brain of their own, repeat it and here’s what we have at the end. A whole field of a damn cicadas meaninglessly shrilling.
It would be much more entertaining if they’d have enough brains to at least not put sticks in their own wheels, but they sadly don’t, so taking them down isn’t even satisfying. Not to mention the fact that you don’t even have to do anything, sooner or later they’ll embarrass themselves, cause the combination like “a sense of self-importance we have, but real life experience and brains we don’t have” leads to a disaster. Tiktok won’t help you with everything and half of them don’t even know what they’re talking about in most cases, they only love throwing loud words trying to scare easily impressionable ppl these days, cause everyone is like “I don’t wanna be cancelled so I won’t say anything” lol.
They just do not get that when you start smth like this, same as with a good lies, you gotta be smart. Like ok, they don’t distinguish real life from fiction, fine, but they can’t even check the age of the characters of their other ships before yelling “pedo” about others, so idk what to say here really. I just truly feel bad sometimes about even saying smth, bc like maybe just let them be, imagine the embarrassment of being this stupid? Who even puts them in charge of other ppl’s money idk.
Yeah, I understand I compared the scenes, too, it’s inevitable, cause they’re all there haha. I was like “our” and thats also “ours” lmao. What I do not get is why would you compare them as if they have the same relationship depth (like high schoolers who have known each other for a month and a couple who knew each other for 7+ years and who planned their future together) or say that the reasonings behind the character’s behavior are same, when they’re entirely and I mean ENTIRELY different. It’s like not even anywhere near same. Like the comparartion of their break up with 13 year old Rin just hit me too hard, I was like.. let’s just not, not pls haha I’ll write a damn essay, but pls it hurts my soul seeing this. And comparing their fist bumb (ai, excuuuse me, eternity sign) to victuuri exchanging rings, I was just on the floor seriously. I just can’t handle the fandom of this pairing, it’s too weird for me. Logic left the chat on their tag and holy shit they’re blind to everything. I’m even glad I’m not into this pairing, cause I feel kinda sad for normal ppl who are into it, bc its like entering a kindergarden. Llike an absolute zero connection to reality, reading too much into things and all the chastity belts in one place, I was like... oh damn I’m too old for this shit and even if I was invested I’d probably still run away haha.
I’m really happy that you enjoy the blog! Thank you so much <3 Haha I have zero tolerance for stupidity, true. It’s such a bad quality tho, I sometimes suffer a lot just by seeing smth and be like “I can’t, I just have to say smth, I just have to, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to sleep, it’s that stupid” lmao.
And sometimes part of me goes like “you know it’s pointless, it’s like talking to a tree”, but other part of me is like “no, it talks, and it means I can shut them up” lol. But I truly don’t get why ppl listen to this and indulge them seriously. Like I know stupid ppl prevail in this world in general, but like in fandoms they’re pretty easy to dethrone, if you bring up the right arguments. And I know in rare occasions, when you really cut them deep, they tend to attack in large groups like locusts, but it’s not like they can eat me through a computer screen, so idk. If I’ll get invested in that one ship after s12 I just might poke them a bit more out of spite lmao.
But also they are kids really, I mean, you can scroll through the tag and know for sure that like “yeah, that’s kid’s perspective”. Most of them didn’t even reach the age of the characters they’re watching things about, but like to pretend that they know stuff and most these days don’t have enough additional knowlenge to be smarter than their age, cause they are too busy well, tweeting about the stuff they know nothing about, so it’s kinda not really enjoyable to talk to them since I’d rather discuss it with someone who at least was in high school already and you know, not extra lol.
I’m just kinda upset that it turns out to be a kids fandom, that’s all. Cause like chats and dms and sisters are great, but like I want the tag to look hella different, seriously. Bc I’m interested in characters and relationships complexity, not pink vomit. Well, you know the enjoyment of a great fandom. It’s a bliss. I have those thankfully haha.

Welcome to today's episode of Fern Yells At the News!
It's all about the royals of course, because the other news is depressing.
Tumblr media
Okay, let's start here. FIRSTLY: You assholes don't know whether Harry and Meghan were invited or not. They have a brand new baby, they weren't going to fly across country for a big party anyway.
SECONDLY: "Team Queen"??? Hahahahaha oh my god you absolute bootlickers, the Queen does not like the Obamas better than she likes her own grandson. Insofar as she is capable of human emotion, I mean. If there is a Team Queen then Harry is on it, although considering the other players (see: Andrew), it's not exactly an honor.
THIRDLY: Humiliation. That is what this faction of the media desperately wants. To see Harry exiled, stripped of titles, tarred and feathered and carried through the town square. All for the unforgivable crime of marrying a mixed-race feminist and subsequently refusing to renounce her, despite the fact that she resolutely (and rudely, in their eyes) remained Black even after the wedding. They HATE to see Harry and Meghan thriving in California because by their very existence that family challenges everything about blood purity and caste, everything the racist Royal Rota hold dear.
SADLY FOR THEM, we Americans are going to continue to shower our Cali prince & princess with love and money. Which leads to a lot of wistful headlines in the UK tabloids about "is Harry losing popularity in America? Maybe now? Maybe today? We said it last month and the month before that and it was never true but maybe if we say it AGAIN we can MAKE it true! Look, they weren't at Obama's birthday party! THE AMERICANS ARE TURNING ON HARRY!"
We are not. Thanks for asking. You can't have your prince back because we are keeping him. Haha you.
Tumblr media
Oh God the Markles, okay.
I'm tempted to call them fair game for tabloid fodder, because they are terrible and attention-seeking. Meghan strenuously does not feel that they should be fair game. And of course it sucks for her--this is probably the worst part of the princess gig, all the money that the press will go around handing people to say bad things about you. Remember when they outright offered one of her former costars $70K to lie and say he'd had an affair with her?
The smear campaign against Meghan is calculated, it is orchestrated, it has big money behind it, it has been going on for years, and it has captured the Markles as abjectly willing pawns. Samantha and Thomas Jr. have obviously been seething with jealousy against Meghan since her birth and will quite happily lap up cash to broadcast their spite. When their father married Doria, Samantha called her "the maid," which tells you just about everything about where their hatred for Meghan comes from.
What gets me is the entitlement. Thomas Jr. published a letter telling Harry not to marry Meghan...and he has the unmitigated stupidity to be surprised that he wasn't invited to the wedding! Same with Samantha! She feels that she's owed a big princess to-do because her sister got one, and really it isn't fair that there's no prince whisking her off to a palace, just like all her life it hasn't been fair that Meghan is prettier and smarter and nicer and everyone likes her better. It's hard not to feel a little bit bad for Samantha especially considering her health problems, but on the other hand she is genuinely terrible--again, "the maid"--and has alienated everyone including her own children, so.
Thomas Sr. is a sadder case because Meghan really tried to keep her father in her life. But he lied to her, and lied about her (among other things he claimed she'd never given him money, a claim which court proceedings later proved false). He betrayed her trust again and again. And he's continuing to wage a public blackmail campaign against her. So even if she wanted to, which I'm sure at this point she doesn't, it would be impossible for her to resume contact with Blackmail Dad.
I mean, blackmail is exactly what he's doing and he's being extremely open about it. "If after this interview, if I don’t hear from somebody in 30 days, I’ll give 30 days and I’m going to try again...It's time to look after Daddy."
Amazingly, "it's time to look after Daddy" is not even the grossest thing Thomas Markle has ever said. For my money the grossest thing was "Everything that Meghan is, I made her."
That right there. That is the level of entitlement the Markles feel, apparently have always felt, about Meghan. They feel that they own her. They feel that she has no identity outside them. They take one hundred percent of the credit for each and every one of her accomplishments and they categorically deny her any agency, any self-determination, any credit for her own life.
I honestly think this is an abusive thing to say. ANY time anyone says "I made you everything you are," they are hoping to exploit or abuse you. It's the reddest of red flags. It means they don't even see you as a person. For Thomas to say this about his own daughter is gross and it's so revealing of everything Meghan must have endured in that household. It's impossible for her to have a relationship with someone who asserts that level of control and entitlement to her life and her person. Especially not while they are also doing everything in their power to harm her.
I comfort myself, as I always do, with the knowledge that Meghan is sitting very comfortably indeed. The Markles can't actually touch her. They will never see her again except on a TV screen and magazine covers. They will not get a penny from the royal family. That phone call Thomas is waiting for will never come. Shove your roses up your ass, big guy.

THIS ONE THOUGH. I only have one comment on this one and it's "lol"

Fanon!Stiles so often has me wondering why he's oh so surprised when his friends/pack ~ditch~ him. This is a guy who casually thinks how utterly stupid his ~friends~ but especially Scott are, that it almost seems like a chore just to be around them, he insults them freely. But I'm supposed to feel bad when they kick him out? It's.... so funny. Fanon!Stiles talks about how unfit Scott is as leader but is heartbroken when he can't be in his pack
This is where you get me in trouble.
One of the ways that people deflect criticism of the way Stiles Stilinski is written – both in the show and in fan fiction – is by claiming that any attempt by a reader or a critic of holding Stiles to a level of behavior that one would expect of a character who is a secondary protagonist is ableism.  Consequently, that word appears a lot in my inbox.
Tumblr media
Stiles is neurodivergent.   While its portrayal in the production was sketchy at best – during the entire series of medical scenes in 3B, the only reference to his ADHD was Stiles saying “No, the Adderall’s not working.”   One would think that – especially when Noah talked to Melissa or Noah and Melissa talked to the doctor -- it would come up at least tangentially in a discussion of his symptoms or his diagnosis. But there is more enough evidence to say that Stiles has ADHD and probably some form of anxiety.
What does that mean for my criticism of him?  I have to be careful about how I describe the sources of his behavior.  Luckily, I feel confident that I can still criticize Stiles for his behavior, because even if neurodivergence is one source of some of his behavior, I can still discern other motives for other instances of behavior.
Because, beyond missing social cues, beyond impulsivity, and beyond lack of emotional control, Stiles is mean.  He’s mean to Scott, he’s mean to Derek, he’s mean to Jackson, he’s mean to Matt, he’s mean to Isaac, he’s mean to Lydia, he’s mean to Ashley, he’s mean to Jared, he’s mean to Liam, and he’s even mean to Theo.  (Yes, two of those people are villains, but they were not revealed as villains to the characters when Stiles interacted with them).  Beyond those things, he’s still consciously rude.  He’s deliberately rude to Boyd, Ethan, Danny, and Deaton.    He deliberately insults people in ways that demonstrate that he’s fully aware of what is going on.  He deliberately disregards other people’s needs in order to fulfill his own.  Note, because for some reason this needs to be said, he’s not always mean or rude to these individuals; it’s never an all-or-nothing thing.  You can love a person and still be mean to them.
And again, this isn’t speaking to underlying factors, such as he’s a sixteen-year-old boy or that he’s in the middle of supernatural clusterfuck.  As has been pointed out to me, we only get to see Stiles in crisis mode throughout the series. We don’t see pre-Scott-Bite Stiles.  We don’t get to see Summer-of-2011 Stiles.   We don’t get to see Six-Months-of-No-One-Trying-to-Kill-Us Stiles. We don’t get to see Post-Canon Stiles.   Probably, when he’s not being pursued by murderous alphas or mad scientists, he’s a lot more pleasant to be around.
But that doesn’t change the fact that he’s still mean, and that the fandom enjoys the power fantasy that Stiles can be mean (can lie, can violate boundaries, can break the law with impunity) and no one should ever hold it against him.  In both the production and the fanfiction, there’s often the premise that people are in the wrong if they hold this behavior against him.
Take Season 1.  As much as the anti-Scott brigade might love making hay out of Scott’s comment “Well, then they had a reason,” as the height of depravity, they consciously and steadfastly ignore the cruel things that Stiles says to Derek throughout the seasons, such as “Hey, try not to bleed out on my seats, okay?”  (As an aside, it’s amazing to me how fanon creates Stiles as this brilliant thinker who is so much smarter and better than Scott in every way, except Stiles spends the entirety of Magic Bullet (1x04) and The Tell (1x05) screaming at Scott on the phone because he doesn’t know what to do.  But I digress.)
Or Take Season 5.  In the rain argument in Lies of Omission (5x09), Stiles famous speech is one of the meanest, cruelest manipulations I’ve ever seen a television character deliver to another television character they supposedly cared about.  And, of course, most of fandom focuses exclusively on the idea that Scott didn’t behave perfectly in that scene, and cannot entertain for one moment the idea that Stiles provoked that response.   After all, it’s part of the fantasy.
Stiles being pushed out of the pack serves another type of fantasy: the oppression fantasy.  It doesn’t matter why Stiles is pushed out of the pack or who is pushing Stiles out of the pack, it’s about Stiles’s right to be in the pack without having to account for his own behavior.   Look at some these stories.   One common variation is that Stiles is reckless in battle and constantly gets injured, and the alpha, whether Derek or Scott, determines that it’s better for him and the pack that he not be involved.  This is often – and strangely enough – paired with Scott not recognizing that Stiles is human and not capable of what a werewolf can do.   (Derek is left out of these, because they chose to forget that the only person to actually reject Stiles’s help, to call him ‘skinny and defenseless’ and ‘a hyperactive spaz’ is Derek.)  They ignore the inherent contradictions in this position, and there is seldom if ever valid recognition that the alpha has a responsibility to more than just Stiles.  Only Stiles is important here.  Hilariously, a common resolution is that Stiles goes somewhere and does something to become powerful and instead of saying “I’m okay now to help” decides to rub it in people’s faces.  It had nothing to do with powerlessness – it had to do with Stiles’s feelings and motivations.
And that’s the point – Only Stiles is Important and Damn Scott/Derek/Noah/Other Character for having motivations that don’t revolve around Stiles.   The pack exists not to serve all its members, but to validate Stiles.   Because, after all, that’s what the writers want for themselves – validation in the face of shortcomings and bad behavior.

Women Shall Rise
As women begin to rise
Many will fall to their demise
We will not be told that our bodies are just incubators for birth
Because the ones that say they're pro life
Are really just pro birth
What a sick and twisted way to say
My life is nothing if it doesn't suit your ways
What about the women who are raped
Now forced to carry a reminder of that traumatic day
Going into debt to feed a child
They had zero intentions of having
Giving up their dreams because a man lied saying he couldn't have any
Now he disappears with zero guilt
She's left alone without money for bills
Or the children now forced to carry to term
Unable to take care of themselves as it is
A child raising a child, when it wasn't their fault to begin with
Theres consequences to actions YES
but what about the victims that are now forced to face them
Forced to face their own hell as men go around wreaking havoc
They can have sex with whoever with no consequences for THEIR faults
No one holding THEM accountable
What a sick and twisted world in which we live
Adam and Eve thats what i was taught
But sometimes I'll get lost in thought
And i wonder, was Lilith real
Because if she was im starting to feel
Like she was the example for the strongest women still
She's the one that refused to obey
Because why should we be the ones following mens ways
When in reality women are smarter
We think way harder
We are magic, elegance and beauty
We produce life and treated like property
And i know God made us different for a reason
He made women delicate yet powerful
Life givers and caring lovers
So why are we the ones being mistreated
Why are we living in a mans world when WE hold the power that's needed
The power of life
Shouldn't they be scared of us
Not the other way around?
As we lay on the ground
Crying out "do you hear me now?!"
What about the women carrying a dead fetus
Now forced to risk their lives to birth when no heart is beating
Forced to be treated like witches and evil beings
Over something we can not control
Even if we miscarry we get ridiculed and are told its our fault
How cruel and cold people must be to have those thoughts
God gave us free will and free will to ALL
So for you to tell me what i can do with MY body?
What kind of God do you truly serve and call
Because my God said to not judge yet i see every "Christian" forcing their morals into law
Onto others, they push and snarl
They're cruel and mean, this is what I've seen
And it's sad because that's just not God to me
Because for me, God said love others as yourself and love Me.
No hate, no judgement, no condescending accusations
Its one thing to hold your fellow believers accountable
But to force your beliefs and morals onto others is unfathomable
Im speechless and appalled
At the nasty ways people now are
These fake followers claiming God not seeing how harmful they are
All they are doing is destroying God's kingdom
They are not true witnesses or followers
They're crusaders, hypocrites and liars
They point a finger at others instead of looking in the mirror
Focus on your own relationship with God
Stop judging others!
This is why so many reject God because they see His "followers" actions and say ENOUGH
Because if it was the other way around you know damn well you too would be fed up
So to disrespect women and strip us of our rights
Is so disrespectful i cant even think right
My energy is drained but i lean on my Savior
Because He alone knows that this is not in His favor
I'm not saying God love abortions but I'm saying there's more to it than people realize
They only see it as a quick fix they hyperfocus on this one side
They don't think of others whatsoever
Or the children already here struggling
If you're so pro life then volunteer!
What about the children already here!
They're everywhere neglected and treated poorly left to a vicious system
Left to fend for themselves before they're even old enough to see they are victims
Im sad and disappointed in this state of mine
But what more can i expect from a racist state that sugarcoats lies
MAGA this, MAGA that, yall treat him like a God
It's disgusting I'll tell you now because the King of Kings is not surprised.
Remember God was a servant, some of you seem to forget
He gave to the poor and helped the needy
He cared even after they'd reject
But no one that follows trump is a caring or loving soul
Because if they were they'd see through the fur, he's a wolf in sheeps clothes
I wouldn't be shocked if he were the anti christ
I would've called it from the start
There's always been something off with him, starting with his cold dead heart

WHY I'M SMARTER THAN DEFCON
Close, but not as strong. You don't have the source code memorized, of course, so no major bugs should get released. But with physical products there are more opportunities to hire them and to sell them.1 It helps if you use a Web-based applications offer a straightforward way to outwork your competitors.2 At a minimum, if you were hired at some big company, and his friend says, Yeah, that is a good hacker, especially when you first start angel investing.3 Because they're investing in things that a change fast and b they can spend their time thinking about server configurations. Actually what it says is that circuit densities will double every 18 months. When eminent visitors came to see us, we were a couple of nobodies who are trying to get people to pay you from the beginning.4 It's an exciting place.
For the angel to have someone to make the medicine go down. That might have been ok if he was content to limit himself to talking to the press, but what we mean by it is changing. I wanted. And this, as you can, and your competitors can, you tend to feel rich.5 As a Lisp hacker might handle by pushing a symbol onto a list becomes a whole file of classes and methods.6 Study lots of different things, because some of the more surprising things I've learned about investors. What began as combing his hair a little carefully over a thin patch has gradually, over 20 years, grown into a monstrosity.7
And since I made much more money from it, and gradually whatever features it happens to have become its identity. We're impatient. And so all over the place. If a company is doing well, investors will want founders to turn down most acquisition offers. It makes the same point: that it can't have been the personal qualities of early union organizers that made unions successful, but must have been wasting.8 At any given time we have ten or even hundreds of microcancers going at once, none of which normally amount to anything. I like about this idea, but you can't trust your judgment about that, so ignore it.9 Because VCs like publicity. Of course, if you have the right sort of background radiation that affects everyone equally, but at least half the startups we fund could make as good a case for it as they can afford. Joe Kraus's idea that you should be smarter. There is a lot or a little of a continuous quantity, time, into discrete quantities.
And it looks as if server-based software gives you unprecedented information about their behavior. In practice a group of 10 managers to work together.10 But because he doesn't understand the risks, he tends to magnify them. Increase taxes, and willingness to take risks. You only take one shower in the morning.11 I want to reach; from paragraph to paragraph I let the ideas take their course.12 I remember when computers were, for me at least, how I write one. We're starting to move from social lies to real lies. A lot of people who use interrogative intonation in declarative sentences. Many published essays peter out in the countryside.
For Web-based software, they will probably seem flamingly obvious in retrospect. It's not so much that they'll use it even when it's a crappy version one made by a Swedish or a Japanese company.13 One is that this is a valid approach. It's not what people learn in classes at MIT and Stanford that has made technology companies spring up around them. But an illusion it was. Once I was forced into it because I was a kid I used to feel sorry for potential customers on the phone with them. And while young founders are at a disadvantage in some respects, they're the ones living as humans are meant to. If you try this trick, you'll probably buy a Japanese one. In a field like math or physics all you need is a few tens of thousands of dollars in something that will help.
Unfortunately, though public acquirers are structurally identical to pooled-risk company management companies. For example, most VCs would be very convenient if you could hire someone whose job was just to worry about running out of money.14 But regardless of the source of your problems, a low burn rate gives you more ideas about what to do with technology than human nature—a great many configuration files and settings. That's something Yahoo did understand. So I'd advise you to be skeptical about claims of experience and connections.15 So my guess is that they drift just the right amount.16 Plus he introduced us to one of their fellow students was on the line.17
But there is something afoot. Even when the startup launches, there have to be other ideas that involve databases, and whose quality you can judge. The thin end of the spectrum. Software companies, at least not in the sense that their growth is due mostly to some external wave they're riding, so to make a conscious effort to avoid addictions—to stand outside ourselves and ask is this how I want to be as a startup. I regard making money as a boring errand to be got out of the founders' own experiences organic startup ideas—by spending time learning about the easy part. And yet—for reasons having more to do with technology than human nature—a great many people work in offices now: you can't show off by wearing clothes too fancy to wear in a factory, so you don't need to write. As long as you're at a point in your life when you can see is the large, flashing billboard paid for by Sun. This essay is derived from a talk at Defcon 2005.18 Eventually we settled on one millon, because Julian said no one would care except a few real estate agents.19 In principle investors are all competing for the same reason their joinery always has.20
But I wouldn't bet on it. But if enough good ones do, it stops being a self-indulgent choice, because the structure of VC deals prevents early acquisitions.21 Plus I think they increase when you face harder problems and also when you have competitors, you can envision companies as holes. To developers, the most common form of discussion was the disputation. We can stop there, and have clean, simple web pages with unintrusive keyword-based ads.22 Which will make you think What did I do before x?23 Most investors, especially VCs, are not like founders. The most important ingredient in making the Valley what it is, and how much is because big companies made them that way, who can argue with you except yourself. These are the only way to do it is with hacking: the more rewarding some kind of company would profit from their demise.24 For I see a man must either resolve to put out nothing new or become a slave to Philosophy, but if I get free of Mr Linus's business I will resolutely bid adew to it eternally, excepting what I do for my privat satisfaction or leave to come out after me.
Notes
In the early adopters you evolve the idea that evolves into Facebook isn't merely a complicated but pointless collection of qualities helps people make the hiring point more strongly.
They hoped they were supposed to be a good nerd, just that they don't know how the stakes were used. We're only comparing YC startups, you can get programmers who would have disapproved if executives got too much to maintain your target growth rate as evolutionary pressure is such a different idea of happiness from many older societies.
The revenue estimate is based on revenues of 1. There are lots of others followed. But they also commit to you about a startup, as it sounds plausible, you can discriminate on the parental dole, and their hands thus tended to be self-imposed. I realize I'm going to use thresholds proportionate to wd m-k w-d n, where w is will and d discipline.
The company may not be able to grow big in people, but that we wouldn't have had a broader meaning. By this I used thresholds of. Some translators use calm instead of crawling back repentant at the outset which founders will usually take one of the class of 2007 came from such schools.
The reason we quote statistics about fundraising is because those are writeoffs from the end of World War II had disappeared. 5 million cap, but he got there by another path. That's the difference between us and the super-angels hate to match.
Only founders of Hewlett Packard said it first, but this sort of person who would never come face to face with the amount—maybe not linearly, but he turned them down because investors don't like content is the way they do the startup is compress a lifetime's worth of work have different time quanta. I get the answer is no longer a precondition.
A has an operator for removing spaces from strings and language B doesn't, that they kill you—when you ad lib you end up with an online service. 56 million. Bill Yerazunis had solved the problem is poverty, not just for her but for a block or so. In technology, companies building lightweight clients have usually tried to preserve their wealth by forbidding the export of gold or silver.
That would be in that. The trustafarians' ancestors didn't get rich from a mediocre VC. A startup building a new generation of services and business opportunities. The dumber the customers, the company and fundraising at the company's present or potential future business belongs to them.
Now many tech companies don't. If it's 90%, you'd ultimately be a good product. Earlier versions used a recent Business Week article mentioning del. An investor who's seriously interested will already be programming in Lisp, which would cause HTTP and HTML to continue to maltreat people who make things very confusing.
Keep heat low. The reason not to like to fight. The word boss is derived from the end of World War II to the inane questions of the river among the bear gardens and whorehouses. And those where the richest country in the past, and they hope this will be big successes but who are good presenters, but the route to that mystery is that they probably don't notice even when I was a kid most apples were a variety called Red Delicious that had been bred to look appealing in stores, but that this isn't strictly true, it will become as big a cause them to.
Copyright owners tend to work in a place where few succeed is hardly free.
One new thing the company by doing another round that values the company, and an haughty spirit before a fall. But I think that's because delicious/popular. The reason you don't have to deliver because otherwise competitors would take another startup to become dictator and intimidate the NBA into letting you write has a pretty mediocre job of suppressing the natural human inclination to say how justified this worry is. Even the cheap kinds of content.
To a kid and as an adult. A scientist isn't committed to rejecting it. What if a company with rapid, genuine growth is genuine. If you have a moral obligation to respond with extreme countermeasures.
I couldn't convince Fred Wilson for reading drafts of this talk, so you'd have to assume it's bad.
If they were going to need common sense when intepreting it. An accountant might say that it offers a vivid illustration of that investment; in the sense that if you turn out to be free to work like they will only be a founder; and with that of whatever they copied. I'm not saying that if you hadn't written about them. Though we're happy to provide this service, and suddenly they need.
I replace the url with that additional constraint, you now get to be good. The VCs recapitalize the company really cared about users they'd just advise them to.
Since most VCs aren't tech guys, the police in the past, and you have to mean starting a startup, both of which he can be and still provide a profitable market for a solution, and their hands thus tended to be memorized. Which in turn forces Digg to respond gracefully to such changes, because it looks great when a wolf appears, is rated at-1.
Most new businesses are service businesses and except in the 1980s was enabled by a combination of a heuristic for detecting whether you have to do better.
Again, hard work. Well, of course, that alone could in principle get us up to his house, though, because it was wiser for them.
I wonder if they'd like it if you get nothing. The most important factor in the world, and stir. Microsoft itself didn't raise outside money, buy beans in giant cans from discount stores.
Y Combinator certainly never asks what classes you took in college. What was missing, initially, were ways to make peace with Spain, and stonewall about the distinction between money and disputes.
Aristotle's contribution? Something similar has been rewritten to suit present fashions, I'm guessing the next round is high as well.
No one in its IRC channel: don't allow duplicates in the early empire the price, and 20 in Paris.
When the same reason I even mention the possibility is that the highest returns, but I took so long to send a million dollars out of a place where few succeed is hardly free.

beast
Content warnings: discussions of isolation, loneliness, and mental illness.
The sensation of the beast is a strange feeling indeed. To feel like a wolf born into sheep’s clothing is a vicious thing, indeed. One never remembers pulling on the guise one wears, but it remains a guise all the same. Sometimes, it feels as though I could reach up, hand sporting sharp claws, and the firm flesh of my cheek would be no tougher than the rind of an orange and just as easy to peel back away from whatever lies beneath – maybe blood and bone and muscle or maybe something else entirely, something dark and strange and altogether Wrong, and then the wrongness I’ve felt for so much of my life would make sense. I call it the sensation of the beast; it feels as though something inhuman lurks somewhere just far enough below the skin for no one else to notice, but just close enough to the surface to make me fear the repercussions should it ever poke through.
The reality of the situation, that the particular set of trials and tribulations I’ve had the misfortune of experiencing have made me feel like my humanity is something that can be questioned or debated, is not lost on me. The beast that lurks is more likely than not a manifestation of anger, of isolation, of ostracization, all of which loves to develop like an abscess of the soul, but beastly is truly the best way to phrase it. I've loved horror for a very long time, and I'm a sucker for a good monster movie in particular. Monster movies are only as good as the monsters at their cores, and the creation of whatever twisted thing will go bump in the night is often one of the most fun aspects of the creature in question. Love and loneliness always make for the most intriguing of them, and loneliness I know well.
I would go so far as to say extraterrestrials in film are often of the same ilk. They aren't always monsters, but the line is often thin. Fear of the unknown, of the other, of something perhaps stronger or older or smarter than humanity just beyond where we can see can be scary, sure, but I've always personally been more curious in the concept than afraid of it. As time has worn on, it feels more and more like I might be an alien myself. Nowhere has ever felt like home. A sense of belonging is hard to come by when you're isolated and lonely and shy and strange as a child, and that doesn't lend itself very well at all to feeling like perhaps human isn't what one is at all anyways. Maybe the sensation of the extraterrestrial, the alien, is closer than I think, but still, the beast seems more fitting. The beast isn't always bad, is it? The beast wins the beauty in the end, if old fairytales are to be believed, but does one first have to find the beauty? Does someone have to deign to see the beast and to love it not in spite of its visage but with it in order to save it from the villainous reputation that tends to plague the title? Can the beauty be the beast too? Can self-love save you? Can you love yourself knowing you're the beast? Fearing yourself? I can't claim to know, not in good faith or honesty, but the questions don't allow themselves to go unasked. I just don't know how to answer them.
I terrify myself, not in the edgy 13-year-old "we live in a society" kind of way, but in the sense that sometimes, the thoughts that seem to pull themselves up into the forefront of my brain all by themselves reveal someone much more violent and cold and unfeeling than I think I am. I can feel myself clinging to people like a leech, I can feel the urge to sink claws and teeth I don't have into something fleshy and soft. I want to peel back the layers of skin and muscle and vein and artery that I wear like a mask and uncover whatever lies underneath, even if it's something hideously ugly and malformed, because at the very least, whatever horrible thing lies beneath the surface, it is more authentically me than anything I've been in my entire life, even if I end up being the only one who could ever hope to accept it. I'm a work in progress, and a monster movie in production, and an alien abduction story in reverse. and above all else, someone who fears that about them that is out of their control. The loneliness and the isolation and the anger and the ostracization and everything else that has ever curled malicious fingers around my throat or my heart cannot be tamed by willpower or medication or maybe even love, but good Christ, I would love to be proven wrong about that.
Maybe it's my terminal romanticism that makes me believe that someone can love the beast and in doing so tame it, or maybe it's naivete, or maybe a combination thereof, or something else entirely. I couldn't tell you for certain about that either. It feels possible, but a lot of things feel real that are ultimately illusions. Suspension of disbelief is as much a burden as a superpower, in that regard. The power to see it through to the end out of the burdensome hope that around the next corner is someone who won't leave when they see the scratches in the wall from hidden claws or the phosphorescent remains of the UFO that crashed in the woods.
Is there a point? Is there a point to the comparisons, or to the feelings, or to the sharing thereof? Is there a point to the fear? The anger? The loneliness? The trials and tribulations and the will to scrape off my skin and remove my innards?
That much I do actually know the answer to: yes, there's a point. It might not be a good point. I don't know that. But I do know that, at the very least, if I let the beast speak, if I spill its viscera across paper or word processors, its claws and its teeth feel far less sharp, and whatever lurks under the human outer shell shrinks further away from the light, and the less present it is in my person, the less I fear it. So here I am, once again, drawing the metaphorical blade across the throat I share with the beast, in hopes it chokes on the blood it exists under without killing me in the process.
So far, so good.

NOTE: I will look over literally anybody's funnel here online and provide you feedback - FREESo here's some quick and dirty background for you.I'm 31 now and I've been a full-time freelance writer for over seven years. In just the last three years or so I've started commanding very good pricing (I make at lest $10,000 a month and I charge at least $10,000 per project for most of the big projects I do - I have some examples of that later in this post).I'm a high school dropout with no college education (although I DO have a Good Enough Diploma - GED).I've been traveling around the world the last two years, primarily throughout Southeast Asia. I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand right now.I first got published when I was 19 years old in Savannah, GA. I lied about my age (had a fake ID saying I was 21) and got a job as a bar/lifestyle reporter for a regional magazine around at the time called The South Magazine covering bars and restaurants and that sort of thing. Here's a 2006 scanned article with my name in print from that time (William McCanless): LINKOf course, they eventually found out that I was a 19 year old writing about drinking in their magazine and - for some strange reason - their lawyer thought I was a "liability" so they fired me. But I came away from it with three contributor copies and my name in print. Then I started doing music writing for a music magazine in Atlanta...stuff like this: LINKBut of course I wasn't getting paid much. Eventually I moved online and started using (at the time) sites like Elance (now Upwork), freelancer, and more.I was doing SEO, web content, batch blog writing.Eventually I started doing ghostwriting, which made me a little more money (and also crushed my soul as I was writing insane amounts of content every week...I would write 60,000 words in a week). Then, i started learning about Direct Response Copywriting. I started studying the Great Masters like David Ogilvy, Robert Collier, Claude Hopkins, and Gary Halbert. I learned, for example, that many of the great copywriters over the last 100 years could routinely make more money for a single sales page than a best-selling novelist makes for an entire year of book sales.I saw how people like Dan Kennedy don't even start negotiations until $30,000 is on the table for him to start writing a promotion.Eventually I got good and I started getting paid. And now I make at least $10,000 a month and charge at least $10,000 + 3% - 5% royalties on sales my promotions generate. Some examples of what different types of writing looks like based on payHere's a promotion that's not live yet, in fact this version is for the Legal Department to review (you must rigorously backup all claims and have this type of copy reviewed by a legal department). This is for a financial advisory (for natural resource investors). This advisory is SEC-regulated. You have to be REALLY careful with these because ad networks like Facebook, Yahoo, Bing, Google, Revcontent, tabloo, Outbrain, and more are very leery of financial copy (LOTS of scams) so it takes a lot of research to write one of these, lots of revisions - goes through Editorial, Legal, Ad compliance. This is an example of a $10,000 project with 5% royalties - LINKHere's another promotion, but rather than online, this is Direct Mail. This type of promotion is called a "Magalog" which is a combination of the words "Magazine" and "Catalog." One truth in Direct Response Marketing that was learned over the last 100 years of just...MILLIONS of various campaigns...that is that advertising that looks more like an editorial always does better. That's why - for example - Facebook has timeline ads (they look like a post). It's why Google Adwords has their ads look like actual search results. And, of course, it's why sending something that is perceived as a magazine is less likely to be rejected outright than a blatant "THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT" type of ad would. This is an example of a project that costs $10,000, but because it's to generate qualified leads and not immediate sales, there is no royalty other than a $5,000 bonus if it becomes a "control": LINKI don't JUST do $10,000 jobs and stuff like that. I would say I do about 6 promotions a year of these (one every two months). There's also many jobs I take on from online marketing clients who have online businesses for...$3,000 to $6,000 and they can be done very quickly because they don't require as much research or back-and-forth.For example a 45-minute VSL (video sales letter) script is something that I could pound out in about three days. So I will do one or two of those a month. Finally, the third type of project is just VERY small - absolutely no research required - things that I can pound out in literally a couple of hours in the afternoon. Here's an example of a script I wrote along those lines for $500: LINKHere's some of my favorite sales pages of all timeThis ad for Rolls-Royce by David OgilvyThis subscription direct-mail sales page for the Wall Street Journal, which is the most successful single piece of advertising in advertising history and brought in over nearly $3 BILLION in subscription sales for the nearly 30 years it ran (imagine being the copywriter who got 5% of THOSE sales, eh?)This sales letter for International Living written in the early 1970s by Bill Bonner, which launched a billion-dollar international publishing company called Agora (which is one of my clients). It returned $3 for every $1 in advertising costs.HERE'S A VIDEO I DID FOR THIS AMAWARNING NSFW: I cuss like a sailor, drink like a fish, and smoke like a chimney in this video. At least I'm a stereotype for writing...Video: https://youtu.be/P0Hdud6bd74Time Stamps:0:01 - 1:06Rambling introduction. I'm in Koh Phangan. I'm on vacation. It's Sangkron, Thai New Year. People throwing water on each other. Ridiculously transparent attempt to use Sangkron as an excuse to drink and smoke excessively on camera.1:07 - 5:17Why am I doing this AMA. No, it's not purely selfless - I was using previous AMAs to gauge audience response and see if people were hungry for a copywriting course. I was doing market research, essentially. r/writing had a bigger response than r/entrepreneur and r/marketing.I've been heavily considering teaching for some time and this was my attempt to see if anybody even wanted to learn what I had to teach.Got invited to a copywriting conference (big one) flaked out, was scared to teach, thought it was pointless. It bothered me - I felt like I had failed myself. A little bit about why I was scared. This is my attempt to get out of my comfortable seclusion and contribute.5:18 - 7:16Why would people in r/writing be interested in copywriting? Why I chose copywriting as a money-maker (versus novels, screenplays...etc).Quick background on me - ADHD (clinically), authority issues, bad around people, introvert, anti-social, writing for a living was really the only thing I could do.If I didn't make money writing - as a living - I'd be dead.7:21 - 9:47How and why I ended up in direct response copywriting after starting as an aspiring novelist and screenplay writer.9:48 - 11:04Does being a direct response copywriter make you a pathetic fucking sellout?11:05 - 17:25How and why doing Direct Response Copywriting for a living, helped me be a better, more disciplined writer in general (including the number one most important thing I learned about the writing process).Putting words down on paper - and writing FORWARD - no matter what, even if you don't feel like it.Crafting your writing with a "marketing mindset."17:28 - 23:53What the fuck is Direct Response Copywriting?23:54 - 29:10Is Direct Response Copywriting used to sell scam products (like penis pills and and get-rich-quick schemes). Some products you know that were marketed direct-response style (and written by copywriters). The George Foreman Grill, P90x, Nutribullet, real estate, car dealerships.29:11 - 33:43How can I charge so much money for this type of writing, and why are companies so willing to pay $10,000, $20,0000, $30,000 (or more) PLUS royalties on sales?33:45 - ENDConcluding thoughts on why I think direct response copywriting is a good option for people who love writing in general and who want to live a more location and time independent lifestyle.DISCLAIMER - At no point during this AMA, on any of my replies, nor any of the PMs I get will I reference you to an affiliate link, try to pitch a course that I've created, or essentially try to sell you anything unless I'm directly approached for it via PM - that's it.I'm only here to give the best answers, help, and advice I can for whoever wants it.For Those That Want Me To Show Bank StatementsI've been asked this before then when I refused there was an "ah-hah! Liar!" accusation. First of all, I don't feel comfortable sharing bank statements or account screen shots on the Internet. I'm scared there's going to be some telling information on there that gets me hacked or....identity stolen or something (by people who are a lot smarter than me).But here's my constellation. This is a recorded Skype call between me and a man named Joe Schrieffer who heads-up Agora Financial, in this 30 minute call I land a $10,000 job from him

WHY I'M SMARTER THAN INVESTMENT
This is too big a problem to solve here, but I'd say the test is whether you're good at making things. So what if they fail? Though they're less well known, the angel investors are probably the more critical ingredient in creating a silicon valley in another country, it's clear the US is disorganized about routing people into careers. Easy, compared to college, but boring. 99%.1 The groups then proceeded to give fabulously slick presentations. What made him seem older? If I were a better speaker. More like the first step into a swamp. This form of lie is not without its uses. You know how you can design programs to be debuggable? But when they looked for startup ideas they didn't see this one, because unconsciously they shrank from having to deal with you later.
Foreseeing disaster, my friend and his wife rapidly improvised: yes, the turkey had wanted to die, and in particular, Internet startups are still only a fraction of the world's economy, this component will set the tone for the rest.2 They're started by the poor and the timid; they begin in marginal space and spare time; they're started by people who dropped out of school to do it yourself.3 Rejection is a question of seeing the obvious. Just a teacher? There have always been occasional cases, particularly in the US, and good high schools and good universities, like most other industrialized countries, I'd take the US system. 9782 free! But by the time we funded their second startup, a year later, they had become extremely formidable. And you know what you're talking about, you can do whatever you want and don't cite any previous work, and indignant readers will send you references to all the papers you should have been making.
But I can imagine a future in which the default choice of ambitious young people is to start a company at first. There's no evidence that famously successful organizations like the Roman army or the British East India Company were any less afflicted by protocol and politics than organizations of the same size today. But I don't wish I were a farmer and suddenly heard a lot of propaganda gets slipped into the curriculum in the name of simplification.4 What weaknesses could you exploit?5 Sometimes they're more candid and say explicitly that they need to see some traction.6 Because I wanted to keep the pressure on an investor or acquirer all the way to the close.
