#i just had my first 1:1 with my manager #…I have worked here for seven weeks lmaooo #i remember him being flustered talking to me in our initial phone interview and the final video interview after my panel #and just now he was flustered again lol and I’ve seen the difference now that I’ve seen him in meetings with other people #and it’s not even like ‘I’m attracted to this person’ fluster #it’s like ‘this person is way cooler than me’ fluster 😂#you know when you meet a person and you’re like ‘oh hell yeah! this person! wow! now that’s what I call Awesome’#like that’s the energy I get from him #also he’s the most laid back boss I’ve ever had as a professional #and in my career I have only had laid back bosses. I’ve been very very fortunate. so that’s saying something #he’s just straight up like yeah this meeting is for you feel free to cancel it even 5 minutes before #’you might not know me in ten years but you’ll know your kid. so anything you need to do for your family that comes first’#i haven’t heard anything about performance or company values or ANY corporate bullshit #(eta: I’ve only had laid back bosses in my software career. Hey, if you have speech impediments, you are so amazing.

If you stutter or have a lisp or misspeak easily or you have a flat affect or a limited verbal vocabulary or if your voice is AAC or if you just have a difference in your vocality, you are so incredibly important and amazing.

Just know that your voice is yours. Nobody will ever be able to truly take it away. Your voice is part of you, and you deserve to make it as true to you as you deem fit. I hope you have the space to grow with your voice and whatever about it makes it unique.

Danny and Damian are twins. Danny was killed by Damian obviously. The normal only one heir business.

When he was put into the pit. Either by a guilt ridden Damian or Talia late in the night. He vanished. Natural portal whipped him away. Right in the path of Jack and Maddie. They adopt the little 8 year old who has no memories of his past.

Normal stuff happens. Danny dies a second time becomes a halfa and befriends cujo.

Now cujo loves Danny and loves to visit him. Too bad cujo gets Damian confused with Danny. But hey. He had two people now. Double the pets.

One day Danny is playing with cujo and cujo unannounced decides his ppl need to meet.

Danny was clearly confused. First where is he? Cujo that was completely naughty behavior. Then there was a dude staring at him. A doppelgänger? Another clone? Like this dude looked nearly identical to him besides the eyes.

Now Damian. Damian recognizes Danny right away. Now he likely thinks this is a clone or something.

The fact that Leo can go literally anywhere on earth to be alone with his thoughts at a single moment’s notice is something that shakes around in my head all the time. Like, portals and teleportation are amazing and convenient abilities both in and out of battle, but they could also so easily be used to run away as well.

I don’t think Leo ever would, at least not most of the time. He loves his family too much, and is too dependent on their love and attention to cut himself off so suddenly like that, but it’s a very real possibility nonetheless.

It’s a good thing Leo’s overall temper is more on the mild side and he prefers going to his room or something to complete solitude, because it really is dangerous for a kid to have the ability to isolate themselves like that at their fingertips.

a headcanon that is very important to me personally is that mulder and scully’s strides start to change as they settle into their partnership. like even when they’re not around each other. scully’s get longer and mulder’s get shorter so that they can walk side by side easier. maybe in the beginning, mulder is rushing around and scully is always trying to keep up, but he learns to slow down so he can talk and listen while they walk. eventually, they unconsciously adjust and meet in the middle. it’s just one of the things that irons itself out as they grow and change around each other, and their relationship as partners and friends starts to take shape :)
