So my job handed out discount codes to get a discounted zoo membership as long as I enroll during the month of March and I was like !!!!!! because I've been wanting to get a zoo membership and make going and hanging out at the zoo a regular part of my routine since like 2019 and also I live much closer to the zoo than I used to so it would be easier than ever.

But part of me is like, "But what if I never use it tho."

My birthday is on Sunday but my aunt can only hang out tomorrow so we’re going to the zoo because I haven’t been before and I’m so excited among all the cool animals they have a cheetah and a dog that are best friends I’m obsessed 😍🥰

#literally this should be a children’s book the cheetah was the runt and was kind of rejected by it’s mom so the staff had to step in to feed #it and cheetahs are pack animals so they wanted to give him a friend and they were like well this other zoo did this thing with a dog #so they found a puppy that had been rescued from a high kill shelter and introduced them and they became best friends and now hang out #together at the zoo isn’t this the cutest thing #they also have sloths! and penguins! and hippos! and baby giraffes! I’m so excited!

It's interesting that with each new Madagascar TV show we keep going further back in time. The first show made (TPOM) takes place after the films, the second show (AHKJ) takes place just before the films, and the third show (MALW) takes place several years before the films.

While I'm happy that we've even gotten three different shows in the first place, and the backstory is interesting, I hope if another show is ever made that it goes forward in time instead of backwards.
