Prophet WIP
Hundreds of years after the six gods' potential death, a single prophet is born. When his twin brother is possessed by a holy sickness, a race begins to preserve or destroy the last relics of dead divinity, and refuse or give forgiveness for errors of the past.
Starring!
Theodore Novak (Theo): the prophet. Desperately does not want to be a prophet. A nervous wreck most of the time, becomes a little strange when he grows comfortable around you. Has not seen his brother for almost a year, and eager to apologise for previous cruelties.

Schizophrenic, and suffered from his brother unknowingly encouraging a delusion to dangerous levels in the past. Prideful and headstrong and terrified thrilled to now belong to the Blight.
The Blight: The divine sickness. Sourced from human anger and frustration at the gods. Recently escaped the trap the final god put it in, weakened and needing something to reside in as it gains power again. Exploits others anger and frustration to get what it wants.
Raya Glick: The student. Provided a place for Theo to go to when he was asked to leave home, and uses him as an assistant to her history PhD on exactly what happened to the gods. From an orthodox temple background. Drives around the country in a van, investigating the gods current forms. Straightforward and non-nonsense.

so what ur saying is Fischl has two new moms who are hazards to society ✍️
IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES HER AS TRANS THOUGH LIKE MOOD. transfem fischl 🤝 transmasc bennet 🤝 transneu razor
but also the awkward family dinner with Rhinedottir + Alice and their other kids and Fischl's parents 😭
Alice has to physically restrain Rhinedottir from commiting numerous war crimes the entire time but she's just like oh that's just how she is :) isn't she just adorable :)
also Oz is her service animal / emotional support animal and ill die on this hill tyvm
n Fischl & Klee are best friends canon proves me right once again. Klee thinks she's really cool n looks up to her especially once she gets basically adopted by Alice & Rhinedottir. because now she has a cool older sister and she tells EVERYONE. everyone will appreciate her super cool sister or else🔪 - eros
Tumblr media
oh my god chronically thinking of feral rhinedottir and unhinged Alice as her handler to make sure she doesn't commit mass murder
Bro i just want Fish to get the childhood she never got bc not to make this about myself I get so upset I didn't have the boy childhood sometimes, like bro i fucking hate gender roles but i WANTED that classic boy childhood man
So Rhine and Alice making Fischl the Princess she never got to be when she was little... I'm tearing up man. Rhine irl blocking everyone that makes fun of Fish or makes her uncomfortable or anything im <333
ALSO YES HI Oz is 100% the emotional support bird. I read Fischl's story on how she got her vision but it's been a while, I think he's a manifestation made by her vision??? Not too confident on that but either way he's her best friend! No matter what happens there's always Oz who will see her as Fischl, who will see her as a princess.
Meanwhile her parents don't understand why she wants to live out this fantasy, they gave her a good childhood, she should be grateful! But... it's not the childhood she wanted. It was good! But she just...wished it were different.
And that's what Rhine and Alice are giving her!
Klee is like "My sister is a princess!! She's so cool!!"
And fish acts all cool but every time someone calls her a princess or call her Fischl or any variation she just :> She thinks about it a lot
And then more and more people start doing it and soon it's a normal occurence and there's too many to think about-
and she's really The Prinsezzin of a faraway kingdom, one that Alice and Rhine are giving her. And her body, her personality, everything about Fischl that she once hated and ridiculed, are now something she can love.
Even if she's not "in-character" all the time, she's not ❏❏❏. She's still Fischl. She'll always be Fischl, because that's just who she is.
And even if some ridicule her and say she's not the Prinzessin, and even if Fischl sometimes thinks she's not a princess and she's just some stupid girl named ❏❏❏ with stupid fantasies of living a happy life, Alice and Rhine are there. Even if she doesn't think so, she'll always be a princess to them <3

Sksjdjjkskskskskksk
I know I should be focusing more on reqs, but I had to take this off my mind skskksskks (btw I'm rn in the underground belobog part of story) (I kinda called it SAHSR as in self aware hsr)
☆•°Self-Aware Honkai Star Rail°•☆
Tumblr media
Tw: no proofread, mentioned drowning(but it didn't happen), war, hate, religious themes, self awareness, kinda ooc, grammar mistakes because I am typing this at 12AM instead of sleeping, isolation
So, you know how in the beginning we play as Kafka? Yeah, I'm pretty sure she felt your presence. At first she was kinda weirded out, and was on guard. Who knows what you would do to her, while controlling her?
Oh look, you're helping her.. Hmm, maybe you aren't that bad after all. Still on guard, but thankful. With you she seems to fight more faster and is more efficient.
Same goes with Silver Wolf. They don't seem to mind your presence that much.
You even helped them to pick a trailblazer! But after picking them, you left Kafka and Silver Wolf. They didn't really mind it. They have been doing good without you, so it should be fine!
Meanwhile, the trailblazer is confused. First, they don't remember anything except their own name(or the name you gave them), then Kafka leaves and someone is watching over them. Oh how confusing and strange. But they caught early on that you're helping them. You're not an enemy.
During their "adventures" trailblazer starts thinking of you as a family. Kinda annoying since you control their body most the time (unless it's a cutscene) but you're cool nonetheless. They see you as a safespace.
Meanwhile March 7th and Dan Heng don't understand what is happening. Who is controlling them? Why after they met trailblazer? Why are you controlling them?
I think March would, just like the trailblazer, like you and find you annoying at the same time. Dan Heng would stay on guard (but also see you as safe space/nice person to hang with). Not as much on guard as when you first...met but still. It'll take him time to get off guard. The more time you spend with them, the more familiar they are with you, the more they like you.
Why annoyed, you may ask? Well, imagine you want to.. for example fight, but someone controls your movement and does it instead of you. Or goes the other way (aka exploring) instead of the path you've originally chosen.
They certainly would like when you make them stronger. No matter who is on your team, they'll like it (I mean, who wouldn't?)
But.. sometimes, even if they like you, they get tired of always being on the team. Thank you, yes, but they need to rest too. They mostly rest when you're offline, since..time kinda stops there. But when you're online? damnnn they walk and fight so much.. (I fr walk everywhere to find enemies to fight, so uhh, if you're like me, they would be tired and maybe annoyed at it)
I think some characters would even hate you. It doesn't apply to the main trio btw, they'll always like you. The reason some may hate you is that they have so much stuff to do, yet you choose them to walk around and fight all day. They're even supposed to be here! (For example, using Herta when fighting someone in Belobog)
If they could, they would scold you. But sadly game doesn't allow that.
It only appears in normal, self aware circumstances. Aka a normal self aware. Some like you, some hate you. You just kinda exist. (That one strange friend/sibling, y'know?)
But what if they would see you as a God? Something divine? Like in SAGAU?
Well, you're doomed, what can I say?
Everyone would want to be in your team. Oh, poor Gacha system.
They would hate it tbh. While in just self aware some would avoid you on purpose (aka busy characters), here? Where everyone sees you as a divine being? Oh dear..
Imagine several people trying to come through a single door, all at the same time? Yeahhh that's what happens. The standard and limited banner would literally fist fight while trying to get "home" to you. So don't be surprised if nobody comes home, at all.
But some may cooperate, and you may get more 5☆ or 4☆! Basically characters you wanted.
Those on your team would be proud! Mostly if the main trio are still there. Some would be envious of trailblazer. You're always with them, even if they're not on your team.(how could you?!)
Kafka and Silverwofl would be devastated. I'm pretty sure Silverwolf could possibly destroy the gacha system and come home. Only her (and maybe Kafka)
People in Belobog would hate the lore and everything game makes them do what they do. They're so happy they met you! You're here to save them! They don't want to fight you, so please don't be mad at them.
Honestly, if you were to get isekai'ed into hsr, I would recommend to the normal au.
The ones who hate you would just tell you off and never interact again, while your family/friends would hang out with you. Plus you could help a lot in Astral Express!
Maybe get Himeko and Mr.Yang some tea? Or help Pom Pom with whatever he needs?
If you get into the Worshipping Lunatics au..? I feel sorry for you.. You would never rest-
Whether you choose to stay at Astrak Express, or Herta's *I forgot the name* or whatever, they are all ready to wage war against each other. And if you decided to stay somewhere, that means you clearly favor them and their place more! Those who were chosen are happy/smug. While other try to improve their place/copy the place you've chosen to make you reconsider and stay with them.
The amount of gifts.. try to not drown okay?
They might even all agree to keep you in one place. Lock you in there and hope you won't be mad at them.
That's all for now
(Gotta work on reqs now or in the morning, they're still open btw)

i cannot stare at this document any longer it's 5.1k words, here she is, per request of @thisisew
cw for major character death (kind of) and ascended astarion and durge being Generally Kind Of Fucked Up I don't think anything is excessive but they're not good people
Tumblr media
He adored having you at his side - his precious little attack dog. He soothed your bloodlust, sating it as often as he could. There was no shortage of those who wanted to get in the way of his plans for the city of Baldur's Gate. He was happy to let you curb your hunger for violence on his political rivals.  Every so often though, things required a more thoughtful touch. He could just send you out with a name and a vague description and you'd be off like a shot. A few days later they would find a mangled corpse and blame it on the cult of Bhaal that still lingered beneath the city.  No, someone like this, someone this important needed a special touch. You deserved time to plan this one, to savor it. Part of him wished he could go with you to watch but he knew staying away was the easiest way to keep his hands clean. He knew you were more than capable of carrying out horrors all on your own.
Things couldn't have been more perfect. After surviving nearly two centuries of a living nightmare, Astarion felt he deserved nothing less than perfection. He had suffered so long, worked so hard, he had earned this.
He stood on a balcony of the former palace Szarr, basking in the sunlight that poured over the city - his city. He had killed the local vampire lord, freed the city from the clutches of a tyrannical bastard, and rescued the universe from the devastating power of the Nether Brain. He had everything he wanted and he was adored.
More than power, fame, or freedom, one obsession had gripped his heart in a way nothing ever had before. His dearest treasure, Chosen of Bhaal. You had sunk your claws into the very essence of his being. He needed you, craved you, claimed you.
The two of you worked in tandem, like a well oiled machine. His silver tongue and nimble fingers meant he could get most things he wanted. What he couldn't get his way could, more often than not, be solved your way.
No, someone like this though, someone this important needed a special touch. You deserved time to plan this one, to savor it. Part of him wished he could go with you to watch but he knew staying away was the easiest way to keep his hands clean. He knew you were more than capable of carrying out horrors all on your own.
He couldn't wait to tell you about your next target, it had really been such a long time coming. He was sure you'd be thrilled and he couldn't wait to see the sparkle in your eyes. Surely you were around here somewhere, he just had to find you.
Astarion turned on his heel, striding calmly back inside to search for his little love. It hardly even surprised him this time as he suddenly found himself with a dagger against his throat as soon as he had stepped out of the light.
"Darling, we really must work on your greetings." He purred, tipping his head back to glance at you
Your other hand wrapped around him to cup his jaw, fingers trailing delicately over his porcelain skin. "You don't like it?" You pressed the dagger just a bit firmer against his neck. "I can hardly stand it. Gods, I want to split your throat open and watch you bleed for me." You cooed, your grip on the hilt shifting as you struggled to resist the flame in you that ached endlessly, just yearning to hear your love's final breath.
But not yet. Not yet.
The threats that spilled from your lips sounded sweet as sugar to Astarion. He knew your hunger, knew that you meant every word. More than that, he knew your desperate longing to spill his blood was born of a twisted blend of the terrible love of death you held and the wonderful, perfect love the two of you shared.
Every prick of blood drawn with your dagger that was tenderly kissed away was as good as a love letter to him. He didn't mind when your fingers would find their way to his throat, trembling with the willpower it took not to crush his windpipe. It all felt like the most sincere displays of love and trust he could possibly dream of.
"Not today, pet." He wrapped a hand delicately around your wrist as you let him pull the dagger away from his throat. "I have something special I'd like to ask of you."
"Anything." You pressed in close to him, weapon still held tight as you rested both hands against his chest.
"I want you to destroy Wyll Ravenguard."
~*~*~
Your mind had spun with so many possibilities. Wyll had been such a good friend through your journey along the Sword Coast. He had attempted to comfort you in the times before your mind fully returned to you. When you rebelled against the violence that was etched into your very soul.
He was so kind, people loved him. He didn't deserve to die, and that made it so much sweeter. His death had to be perfect, you decided. You wanted it to be intimate and personal. A murder hand tailored just for your dear friend.
Of course, he hadn't stuck by your side once he had realized that his peaceful ways had no claim to the life you chose to lead with your beloved. You understood, of course. Not everyone could grasp the way murder was truly just an act of worship. After all, if everyone was a murderer, there could be no innocent victims and that would never do.
What sort of death was befitting someone like Wyll? Not only someone of such status, but someone so personally dear to you? Poison would be nice. Perhaps you could invite him to dinner. You could prepare something special, something that would have him frothing at the mouth before succumbing to the toxin.
No, no, that was far too unbecoming for someone as lovely as Wyll. Perhaps you could gut him? It would be so intimate but you didn't really want to hear him scream. It was so violent, so feral, such an ungraceful way for the son of the Grand Duke to die.
You wanted it to be soft, personal. You wanted to wrap your fingers around his beautiful neck and squeeze. Your hands twitched with your desire to feel his pulse fade under your touch. You could take him out for an evening stroll, a chance to catch up.
If you had to, you could lie about needing his help. Wouldn't that be sweet? "Oh Wyll, I'm a monster. I need help but I'm so frightened of what Astarion might say." The Blade of Frontiers surely wouldn't be able to help himself. You could almost picture the look of betrayal in his eyes already.
Yes, that was it. Lure Wyll out with a sob story, begging for his help. Then, crush the life out of him as the shock set in. Maybe if you were very lucky he'd die with your betrayal written in his eyes. It was perfect.
It was supposed to be perfect, anyway.
~*~*~
You were late. It wasn't all that concerning, not at first anyway. Astarion had expected you back within three hours. That was the time frame you gave him. Long ago, he'd learned to give you an extra hour as you seemed to be such a truly awful judge of time when you had your hands in your victims innards.
Even your extra hour was up now, though. Suddenly, his mind began to race with the worst possible scenarios. There was no way Wyll could've overpowered you. Unless he got lucky. Unless he struck first? Why would he do that, you were supposed to be lying to him?
So then where could you be? He had already resolved that the two of you would have to talk about your ability to stick within a time frame. Four hours was more than enough time to strangle someone to death. If he found out you lost track of time carving poems into Wyll's skin, he was going to be furious.
Every second that ticked by without you felt like a lifetime now. He had to go find you, he couldn't sit here anymore. What if something had gone horribly wrong and he was just twiddling his thumbs.
He practically sprinted towards the front door, only stopping short when it creaked open in front of him. He stopped on a dime as he watched you take a few, shaky steps into the palace before collapsing.
In an instant, he was at your side. He slammed the door shut behind you, barking orders to nearby spawn to get you medicine, bandages, healing potions, anything.
He bundled you into his arms, tenderly but with a near feral desperation. Dried blood stained your face, your nose was absolutely broken. You'd been stabbed multiple times and the entire right side of your body was scorched.
The way you crumpled to the ground, unable to even bask in the agony of your own wounds, something was horribly wrong. “My love… precious little love, what happened?”
He ever so tenderly cupped your jaw as you groaned quietly in pain. You squinted up at him, his eyes were so worried and you were in far too much misery to dream about plucking them from his skull. “He didn't come alone…”
An ambush? Astarion's grip on you tightened just a bit as a wave of anger coursed through his body. He had known what your plan was, what should've happened. Wyll hadn't trusted you, he didn't believe you. Of course, he was right not to, but that didn't make Astarions blood boil any less. “Who else was there?”
One of the spawn returned with a healing potion that he brought to your lips before you could respond. It wasn't much, but it was enough to dull some of the ache. You'd taken several blasts of force magic to the chest, you knew many of your ribs were broken. Definitely your sternum, you hoped he had more options that could mend that break.
“Gale.” You mumbled, blinking up at your darling. “Shadowheart, Karlach, Halsin, Lae’zel. I could've handled two or three but… six. Like he gathered everyone he possibly could…”
Wyll hadn't trusted you an inch, that was obvious. How disappointing. Another spawn arrived with more healing items that he gently administered. “Tell me what happened, darling.” He clearly had no intention of moving you just yet, he was so worried. You could practically smell the fear radiating off him.
It wasn't the same fear you craved. You craved the fear of death. The panic and knowledge that they were about to die always felt like an aphrodisiac to you. It was different when someone was afraid of someone else dying. Especially now that it was targeted at you, by your sweetest love, you could confidently say you didn't care for it.
“I thought it was perfect. He was listening, he seemed so genuine. I cried and begged him for his help, I don't know if he actually believed me.” You winced as Astarion gently started to wipe some of the blood from your face. “The instant I touched him I got a fire bolt to the chest. They swarmed like pathetic little rats.”
“Calm, darling. You need rest, you need to stay still.” His voice was even and measured. It was too perfect, you knew he was barely concealing a seething rage underneath that voice.
“They were going to kill me. Me. After everything I did for them, everything we did together. They all wanted to kill me.” The hypocrisy was not lost on you. You were there to kill Wyll after everything the two of you had been through. It was one thing for you to have murder on the mind, another thing entirely for the bleeding hearts of your ‘friends.’
“I barely managed to slip into the shadows. I could hear them hunting me still, though. I had to practically drag myself back here.” You were angry, so angry. It was supposed to be perfect. You had wanted so, so terribly badly to hear Wyll's dying breath escape his beautiful lips.
You felt Astarion move, gently and slowly, until he had his arms under you, scooping you up bridal style. You often forgot just how strong his ascension had made him, he held you with all the same effort one might hold a cat. Like you were practically nothing in his arms.
“You need to rest, my pet.” You could feel his hands trembling as he held you tight. His undead heart raced in his chest and you didn't even have the energy to fantasize about ripping it out. Rest sounded so nice.
Failing a hunt was always devastating but this was something else. You had been so excited, you never considered the possibility that Wyll would be smart enough to bring backup. You'd relied so heavily on his desire to be a hero, you really expected him to believe your sob story.
Before you knew it, your love has whisked you away to your bedroom, tucking you securely into the comfortable sheets. He sat beside you, gently brushing your hair for a moment as he watched you situate yourself and your broken body. “I'm sorry.”
You didn't expect an apology, that was interesting. “For what?”
“I should've gone with you. We should've been smarter about this and now- now look at you. They could've killed you. Tossed your corpse in the Chionthar, I would've had no way to get you back.” His eyes were dark and angry but you could see his concern written plainly behind them. He was terrified.
“I should be the one apologizing…” you wanted to reach out and grab his hand but your whole body felt so heavy. “I failed. Now they all know he's your target, we won't get another chance. And who knows what they might say.”
“They won't say anything.”
“How can you-”
“I'm going to destroy them. Every last one, understand? I'm so sorry, darling, I know how badly you want to end them but you need to rest. Please.”
“Astarion, you can't go out there, they're still going to be on high alert. They're probably closing in on the palace as we speak. There's still only one of you and six of them. I know they didn't burn all their resources on me, you can't.”
You understood his urge to kill, more than anyone in the world. Your heart broke in your chest with the knowledge that Wyll would survive the night. You had been so eager for his blood, you truly couldn't have imagined the night going this way.
In retrospect, one of you should've guessed that he wouldn't trust you. You should've been prepared for this. You were getting sloppy and that simply wouldn't do.
You tried to push yourself up a bit, fighting a losing battle against Astarion's firm hand on your shoulder that held you down. “Astarion, if you're going to go, you have to take me with you, if we're together-”
“No.” His voice was stern despite the concern that was woven through it. “You're in no state to be doing anything right now.”
“And you will die if you go out there now.” You reached out to grab his hand, staring at him, eyes wide with worry. “Please, please, I'd go mad if anything happened to you, I beg you don't do this. I'm sorry I failed you, please don't go out there.”
Astarion knew your words held a double meaning that made you far more desperate to keep him at your side. You didn't want him to go out because it was dangerous and you couldn't imagine your life without him. More than that, though, he knew if anyone else ended his life you would raze Baldurs Gate to the ground.
One day, far off in the future, he knew you would be the one to end him. You didn't have a plan, it wasn't going to be any time in the next few centuries at least. His blood belonged to you, though, as much as you belonged to him. He was going to be your magnum opus one day, he had to survive.
Leaving Wyll alive meant that he could spread rumors that you had tried to kill him. Your status in the city was… complicated. Some people revered you as a hero along with the others, some believed you were the head of the cult of Bhaal that still ravaged the city. Others still believed you were dead, that every claimed sighting of you was just another person.
None of them were entirely true, no one knew who you really were. You had helped save the city. You were important to Bhaal’s cult. You certainly weren't dead. You liked how vague it all was, it meant you could get away with things. But if Wyll was going to out you, things were going to change. Especially if he outed Astarion in the process.
Your friends knew how close the two of you were. They knew you were, together, something worth fearing. There was no doubt in your mind that one of the six people that had tried to kill you would spill this story. It would probably be in bold print on the Gazette tomorrow.
“You didn't fail me, my love.” He leaned in to place a gentle kiss on your head, breaking off the frustration and panic running through your mind. “I'll stay.”
~*~*~
He did stay, at least for a while. Just long enough for you to fall asleep. He knew you were exhausted, your body needed time to recover. You'd be out cold for hours.
Astarion stalked through the halls of the palace with an aura of malice that frightened each spawn and servant he passed. Everyone saw the flame in his eyes and no one dared to interrupt him.
How dare they? Who did they think they were? To attempt to take you away from him? They should've known better, they should've known that Astarion wouldn't stand for it.
They knew how much he loved you, were they stupid? They tried to kill you, like they didn't think it would bring the wrath of the vampire ascendant. He was going to destroy every last one of them. Did they not know you were his? Did they not realize the power he wielded?
Every second that passed by flooded his mind with images of your broken, injured body. The way they all seemed to have gotten a strike in on your beautiful, delicate skin. As though they had any right to touch you - any right to look at you.
His mind raced with “what if’s.” If you hadn’t managed to get away, if your wounds had been any worse - might he have lost you for good? At the hands of people who had once claimed to be his friends, your friends.
The idea of losing you was enough to drive him mad. His pulse raced as his attention honed in solely on making them suffer for what they had done to you. He couldn’t survive without his darling, he needed you like oxygen. He was obsessed, he knew that, he didn’t care. He had earned the right to be obsessed and now these people were threatening everything he had worked so hard for - suffered so long for. He wouldn’t stand for it.
He tossed open the ornate front doors to his palace, calmly striding out and down the steps with his arms folded casually behind his back. In his eyes, though, there was a dark malice that shone in the moonlight. “Wyll Ravenguard.” He called out, into the night. His voice was even, betraying only a hint of the rage he felt. “No use hiding, I’m sure you’ve all found your way here by now. We can discuss this like civilized adults.”
A moment passed as his voice faded away into the night air. Then a response. “The time to discuss anything has passed, Astarion.” Wyll stepped out of the shadows, blade readied. “You sent your attack dog to murder me in the streets, there’s nothing civilized about this.”
As he spoke, the others emerged into the moonlit courtyard, each prepared to strike. “I’m afraid you’ve mistaken this as a personal offense, Wyll. You are, unfortunately, a rather big obstacle in my plans for the city. I’m sure you understand, I’ve got nothing against you, personally. You simply hold a tragically high title. I know you’re no stranger to political turmoil.”
“You’re so full of shit.” Karlach spoke up, adjusting her grip on the battleax she wielded. “So the fuck what if it’s political or personal, you tried to kill him.”
Astarion sighed, rolling his eyes and folding his arms. “And you tried to kill my pet.” He bit back a grin at the revulsion that radiated off some of your former companions at his choice of words. “We've all made mistakes tonight.”
He was so calm for someone surrounded by powerful, angry warriors. He remained unfazed as they slowly closed in around him as well. “She’s too dangerous to live.” Gale spoke as he stepped closer to the vampire, hands sparking with potential magic. “Especially being wielded as your weapon.”
“And she is such an effective one too, isn't she? Well, when she isn't being betrayed, it seems.” He threw a pointed grin at Wyll.
“Betrayed? Because I'm not a gods damned idiot, I'm the betrayer?” Wyll retorted, bitterly. “I wanted to trust her. Gods, do you have any idea how hopeful I was that she genuinely wanted my help? I would've forgiven her in an instant, but I'm no fool, Astarion. Even if it had been genuine it would've taken a serious lapse of judgment to find myself alone with a Bhaalspawn at all.”
Astarion just tutted softly, looking back at him like this was all just some kind of silly game they were playing. “It's a shame, the Bhaalspawn would've killed you kinder than I will. At least with my darling, murder is such a passion. I, meanwhile, want to rip into you with my bare hands and turn you inside out for threatening to take my love from me. Do you understand that? Who you're fucking with?” His calm demeanor was starting to slip as his barely contained rage was bubbling to the surface.
Wyll seemed to recognize this, holding one hand up in defense, though the other kept his blade readied. “You're right, this is political. I don't exactly want to cause a power vacuum in the under city. I don't want to kill you or her. We were friends, once. We all were. But hasn’t she caused enough carnage?”
“What?”
“I can be quick. This doesn't have to be messy. You can't be stupid, Astarion, she wants to kill you just as badly as she wants to love you. One day it's going to be you on the receiving end of her bloodlust. We could end it now, though. Rid Bhaal of another chosen, scatter the cult. Hells, I'll let you claim it, add another notch to your fake hero belt.”
Astarion stared at him for a moment, taking in the offer that had just been laid on the table. Had he been a more sensible man, more reasonable, less utterly obsessed with you, perhaps he could've seen the logic in such an argument.
He wasn't a reasonable man, though. Instead, his eyes darkened with a fury that shocked Wyll into taking a small step back. “You're kidding? Right, you're joking? To attack my love and show up on my doorstep to demand I hand her over to be slaughtered?
“You think I don't know how badly she wants to destroy me? She spends every day itching to bleed me dry and yet, here I stand. Every morning I wake up to her sleeping peacefully beside me, it's just like falling in love again. I am her number one target and she chooses every day to spare me. I would sooner rend the fabric of reality apart than hand her over to you.”
Before he had even finished speaking, the magic that built around Gale erupted. A blue streak of lightning lit the night around them as the wizard loosed the first blow, nearly catching Astarion off guard. Nearly.
A moment before the lightning could connect, Astarion vanished. He reappeared behind Gale, lodging his dagger squarely between his ribs and twisting as he leaned in close. “You forget who you're dealing with, here. I am a fucking god.”
He shoved Gale forward, sending him crumpling to the ground. Shadowheart lunged forward, already channeling a prayer. She was stopped dead in her tracks with a snap from the vampire, however. “I suggest you reconsider.” He smirked as she straightened up, her prayer morphing and twisting. The healing energy that had been building around her coalesced into a deadly bolt of light that streaked towards the unconscious mage.
As Gale stilled underneath Astarion, the rest of the party came to life, all brandishing their weapons with the intent of taking down the vampire lord in his own courtyard. How quaint.
Their attacks narrowly avoided him, catching him not nearly as often as he struck them. Despite their best efforts, they were facing down an enemy that held more power than they could ever hope for. He wasn't truly a god, he had only a few dedicated worshipers but they could more accurately be called fanatics. Regardless, his power could rival some lesser gods.
It was different than facing down a Chosen. Power gifted to an avatar was nothing compared to what came from a gods own hand. Maybe if there had been a few more of them, perhaps if he hadn't taken out their wizard instantly, maybe they would've stood a chance.
He wasnt sure when it happened, at some point Shadowheart and Halsin disappeared. A tactical retreat or simply fleeing a fight they knew they couldn't win. It didn't matter, he could hunt them down later.
There was a feral part of him that so rarely got to see the light of day. Somewhere deep and dark in whatever remained of his soul. These kills didn't need to be clean. Perhaps, he thought, as he buried his claws into Lae’zel’s stomach, grabbing and ripping out what he could. Perhaps Gale had gotten off too easy.
Should he revive him after all this? He was so smart, he could be a useful spawn. Maybe he could even be a little gift to you. Your own little toy to torment as you pleased.
Karlach dropped to the ground, the rage and adrenaline that had been powering her through the multiple deep wounds she'd received finally giving out on her. That was all right, she could bleed out, Astarion didn't mind. Now he could turn all his attention back to Wyll.
The man stood before Astarion, despite sustaining several injuries. He still held his sword tightly, though it wavered ever so slightly. He didn't speak, his face was awash with countless emotions.
“Are you going to be a hero, Wyll? Stay and fight bravely until the bitter end? A stupid, pointless fight that's already killed two of your precious friends. And seems to be working it's magic on a third.” He nodded towards Karlach, still breathing heavy, still clinging to life.
Astarion had taken a few solid hits, he wasn't doing exceptionally well, but he was still faring much better than his old friend. “You don't have to be a hero.” He continued, watching him calmly as his wounds slowly knitted back together. “In fact, take her. Run. Go and survive and live to fight another day. You're no good to the coast dead, Mr. Frontiers.”
Wyll stared at him, eyes flicking to Karlach for just a moment. “I'm not an idiot, as soon as I turn my back you'll be on me.”
“Oh I don't know about that. I've thought of something far more fun. How about we cut a deal? I know you're a big fan of making deals that are bad for you, you should be an old pro.” The grin that spread across Astarion's face was enough to make a shiver run down Wyll's spine.
He'd seen that smirk before. That was the look of a devil who knows he's won. Something about seeing it on the face of a man who used to be his friend, it made Astarion far more intimidating than Wyll would've liked. “What… deal?”
“You leave now, I'll even let you take poor Karlach.” He threw a fake frown in her direction. “Or stay and I will gut both of you like the pitiful creatures you are. However, know that if you leave, I will hunt both of you to the ends of the world. It'll be like a game between us. One that will end with your mutilated corpses crushed beneath my boot. But you will live to protect your precious city another day.”
“Why? Just a minute ago you were content to slaughter all of us in your front yard. You won, why bother?” He didn't trust it, not an inch.
Astarion just laughed softly at him, cocking his head. “I changed my mind. Am I not allowed? No, I think I much prefer the idea of you spending the rest of your days hiding from me. I want you to go to bed every single night of your pathetic life wondering if this will be the night I put you out of your misery. Maybe I'll even send my Bhaalspawn after you to finish the job she started. Wouldn't that be fun?”
His voice was calm and collected, as though this were the most casual conversation in the world. He wasn't bluffing, and Wyll wasn't exactly interested in trying to test him. He bit his lip, his gaze shifting between Karlach and Astarion.
“Better pick fast, my friend. She won't last much longer, and I'm sure you don't want to leave her of all people with me.
“Fine. Fine, gods damn it all.” If only looks could kill, then perhaps Wyll mightve stood a chance alone against the vampire ascendant.
“I'll see you soon, my favorite little toy.” Astarion grinned like a madman as Wyll knelt beside Karlach, quickly casting a spell that teleported both of them away from the courtyard and out of view.
Astarion only chuckled to himself, rather pleased with the game he'd just made. He wouldn't even have to do much besides threaten him every so often now. And one day he would kill him, when he got bored or angry enough.
His attention turned to the two corpses left in the grass near him. Lae’zel and Gale, two incredibly powerful individuals. He could not wait until you woke up to find your new toys.

It's time ladies and gentlemen
Arcana characters as Disney's Hercules
I promise not all of these are gonna be Disney themed lol I'm just a Muriel simp (if you couldn't tell) and when I originally came up with the Disney princess idea Muriel as Hercules started rotting a hole through my brain so here we are! Also, we're gonna get some side character/familiar action here as well, yay!
Asra, Nadia, Julian, & Portia - the muses
Are there other characters that these four could fit? Probably
Am I going to fit them there? No
Someone needs to be the muses, and I choose these 4
From left to right (since none of the muses are named) Portia, Julian, Nadia, & the last two get subsumed into Asra
Tumblr media
Idk I think they'd have fun jamming out & watching Muriel do his thing
Lucio - Hades
Oh god I can hear the Lucio simps screeching at me in the comments already
But consider: am I wrong tho
Let's face it bro is the villain in every route but his own and the cynical, "better than thou" personality that they both share just fits so well
Plus this version of Hades is a Satan analog who makes binding deals with others for his own benefit, and doesn't that sound like a certain devil we all know?
Not to mention both of them are trying to escape the realms they've been assigned & make themselves god king of everything
Two words: ✨anger issues✨
Morga - Phil
And now we get to the fun characters outside the M6
I will admit, Phil is a lot nicer than Morga, but jaded older mentor figure trying to make up for failed prodigies fits
Plus, Morga was Muriel's mentor in his route
I feel like both also fit into the role of proud parent figure by the end of their respective stories
And both are disapproving of their pupil's romances lol
Inanna - Pegasus
Admittedly Inanna is a bit more no-nonsense than Pegasus is, but she can still be goofy and fun when she wants to
Incredibly supportive of their human companions, important assets in battle, their appearance started the main character on a path for a better and more fulfilling life
Not much else to say here it just works
Vlastomil and Volta - Pain & Panic
Honestly idk if I can fit Vulgora and Valdemar into the Hercules narrative, but at least I could get these two in here
Vlastomil is Pain and Volta is Panic; I realize both could probably fit into Panic's role as they are the more timid and mild mannered courtiers, but I've chosen things this way because Volta is a little bit more flighty and afraid to commit crimes like Panic, where as Vlastomil is a bit more bold (when he's allowed to be) and better fits Pain
There's also the whole shape shifting deal they can all do
Khamgalai - Zeus
This one.....is a bit weird ngl, I'm still not quite sure about it
Honestly this is the ONLY time I will conflate someone so near & dear to my heart with Zeus
Mostly this all fits into the "detached/secret family member" archetype
And....I mean Zeus in this narrative at least is actually very kind & caring, as well as a proud dad which is similar enough to Khamgalai to work ok
Plus they both act as a guide for the main character when they're trying to find/drifting away from the plot a little bit
Merf (my MC) - Meg
Ok
I know what you're thinking
And I'm going to state once again that I am a huge Muriel simp
My MC is also a self insert, and for as long as I can remember I've always identified the most with Meg, more than any of the other Disney women
Anyone who has read my fic, seen the stuff I've posted about my character either on this blog or others, or even just talked to me on the arcana discord started by @iliveforyouilongforyouvesuvia can probably see that our personalities are very similar
Meg is very special to me as a character and I'm literally writing a post about mashing together my beloved and one of my favorite Disney movies, I'm not apologizing for conflating her with myself

"On the Great Alkali Plain" part 2, from Letters from Watson, arrived in my inbox this morning, bringing with it a predictable cloud of dust from approaching horses (since this isn't a George R.R. Martin novel, so we're not going to introduce characters just to kill them off immediately).
But what a caravan! When the head of it had reached the base of the mountains, the rear was not yet visible on the horizon. Right across the enormous plain stretched the straggling array, waggons and carts, men on horseback, and men on foot. Innumerable women who staggered along under burdens, and children who toddled beside the waggons or peeped out from under the white coverings.
Either we're running late on the Oregon Trail (since Doyle did not have social media to live-blog progress across the dusty waste) or the year 1847 is important, and these are Mormons.
“Shall I go forward and see, Brother Stangerson,” asked one of the band.
These have got to be Mormons.
“Nigh upon ten thousand,” said one of the young men; “we are the persecuted children of God—the chosen of the Angel Merona.”
Tell me you're a Mormon without telling me you're a Mormon.
“We are the Mormons,” answered his companions with one voice.
OMG, they're Mormons.
This makes the geographic names a little dicey -- the Mormon Trail ran through Wyoming, similar but not identical to today's I-80, so the Rio Grande River should be nowhere nearby -- but Doyle didn't have access to Google Maps, and it's not like his readers in the UK would go factcheck. Even with the Transcontinental Railroad completed back in 1869, most places in the Great American Desert were still remote in the 1880s, and California on the far end was still feeling the effects of isolation. Doyle also misspells the Angel Moroni and uses a masculine-ending name on a Sierra, so he's working from popular myth and the memory of things he's read. I wonder how many letters with corrections he received.
(At the time Doyle was writing, "Mormon" was the term used by the group themselves. Since about the 1980s, church leadership started urging the use of "Latter-Day Saints" instead. When I lived in Phoenix, that's near a big LDS population in Mesa, so I wince at using the older term. From here on out, if I'm quoting Doyle, I'll use "Mormon," but if I'm talking, I'll stick to LDS.)
The big reason the LDS wagon train is headed west is because they practiced polygamy at the time, and this was considered both illegal and immoral in larger U.S. society. (That's not a critique of polyamory today, when enthusiastic concept and clear rules are normalized.)
So far Doyle's account of the LDS party is generally positive -- they're organized, efficient, knowledgeable about their surroundings, prepared for danger, and responsible toward people needing rescue, if a bit holier-than-thou -- but I can't believe he's going to handle polygamy with anything other than distaste.
Polygamy is the thing LDS have been known for (to their chagrin after the mainstream LDS church banned it), so at the end of this section, Doyle's original audience is split into two groups:
Readers who have no real idea what a "Mormon" is and accept it as just one more crazy American thing, who now figure Lucy is rescued and wonder what goes wrong later to lead to murder; and
Readers who know about polygamy and are feeling dread for Lucy.

So who are obsidian and jade?
so damien (obsidian) and adrien (jade) are two characters of mine that come from a series that is tangentially related to the undertale multiverse. it was originally called jade's multiverse, or jmv (because adrien, then jade, was the titular character,) but i've renamed it to be called 'polarity'.
this name comes from the focus on positive and negative magic that has roots in dreamtale (an undertale au). there were physical extreme manifestations of positive and negative magic, named radiance and corruption, as canonized in the 'toasty cinematic universe', which is a 100k-word-ish-long roleplay containing jmv characters alongside characters from other utmv aus (DINTIS and dreamswap)*. if you consider the spectrum of magic to be a magnet, radiance and corruption are the different polar ends (north and south, radiance and corruption, positive and negative, you get the picture). thus, polarity. im so clever
the tl;dr of damien and adrien is that they're both magical spirits that inhabit semi-human hosts and are a guardian of a magical tree that is the font of light and dark magic. damien is the guardian of dark magic, and adrien is the guardian of light magic. in the lore of polarity specifically, these guardians are quasi-immortal and do not die of old age or illness. when killed, these guardians will reincarnate into a randomly chosen family somewhere across the world of polarity, avatar the last airbender style. adrien is around 5 years older than damien, and both were born into separate families before being taken away and brought to the tree where they grew up together. later in the story, damien takes all the magic from the tree and becomes... basically a god, with all the power it gives him, and adrien, not wanting to leave damien or for damien to leave him, follows suit quite powerlessly as damien begins world conquest. there's a shit ton more of important context and detail (cough cough more lore and also like, character motivations) but this is a SIMPLE QUESTION being asked of me i will NOT go on for a million years
also important, adrien and damien's relationship has gone through a looot of iterations, mostly because i created them six years ago when i was a teenager and put like... so much edgy stuff in it without rhyme or reason. their relationship was originally a cesspool of one-sided abuse and trauma inflicted onto adrien, and it kind of still is, and the codependency is a huge theme i want to continue exploring with them, but to do that i have to like, rewrite their whole origin story, etc etc, explain how adrien came to live with damien, rewrite literally every other character because it's an ensemble cast and they also got Beam of Edgy Teenager that i need to fix, so on and so forth...
anyways i've been like. i've been thinking about them. can you tell
(*the tcu was important in experimenting with a lot of the polarity characters, but i no longer consider its events canon to polarity because a lot of the things i am going to rewrite into polarity will directly contradict things established in the tcu.)

The author had to kill off SOMEBODY the audience knew and cared about so it would have any impact. People like Funk Man, Eel Boy and Crust had no character work done on them. Midnight was chosen, but it could have been anyone from UA. But he wanted to keep using Mic and Eraserhead, so here we are. I think her death was absolutely pathetic because her supposed two best friends didn't even talk about her death! But we can devote loads of panel time to Kurogiri's situation, when they knew the guy for a small amount of time before he got died and resurrected. Think about it. The time he was their friend is barely a blip on the radar compared to the amount of time he's been dead to them. But Aizawa didn't want to talk about Midnight's death, and so he and Mic shut up about it forever. What's funny is that Midnight was also a complete nothing character outside of Vigilantes, which most MHA fans never read. She wasn't built up to be the Aizawa to anyone's Shinso. Even when Mina talks about her, it's about how she liked her classes. Absolutely nothing about knowing her as a person. She's avenging an acquaintance because the story didn't build any bonds between these characters!
I'm not even gonna lie, Midnight in the War Arc has been disrespected. She was never brought to visit Kurogiri despite Midnight and Shirakumo (Kurogiri before he became a Nomu) were best friends and Shirakumo even had a crush on her, it was just Present Mic and Aizawa who visited Kurogiri. You are right Midnight was never mentioned again by the students or her best friends, hell bringing up her death to Kurogiri might cause him to change. I'm pretty sure Midnight is just a fanservice-y character, but Vigilantes actually gave her depth which is why I prefer Vigilantes over MHA. Midnight in MHA mainly helped the students with their hero names, and ultimate moves, and was really just around before striking a smexy pose every third time she's on screen. When it comes to teaching Midnight mainly acknowledges and compliments the students' success. The last paragraph is without a doubt true, we don't know much about most of the cast aside from Deku, Todoroki, Bakugo, Aizawa, Iida, and Ochaco. Either some of them already had an arc and they're just around or some of them just didn't need one. That's the problem with having too many characters in one series because once their mini-arc is done, they're done. We don't know what their relationship is like with other characters, Horikoshi just has them be cool with each other and admire the Big 3. God knows how many times these characters suck the dick of Deku, Todoroki, and Bakugo.
If any of the characters would've died, it should have been Gran Torino. He trained Izuku and taught him everything, he's still powerful but not as powerful as he was before, and he even had a nice speech saying that "Death can be another form to save someone" after Izuku gave Torino, Nana's regards.
Gran Torino's entire arc was basically done and he's severely injured and old, I don't believe he's capable of fighting again. So what's the point of keeping him alive?

I made my character Bex from @thebonnevillegame a character in BG3!
I thought she'd be perfect as a tiefling in the BG3 world. I plan on doing Laura, Minty, and Ingrid very soon.
BEX
Full name:  Rebecca Elspeth McQuoid Name meaning:  Rebecca: to bind or tie; Elspeth: chosen by God; McQuoid: son of Uad (Gaelic form of Wat, short for Walter) Pronouns: She/Her  Race: Tiefling Age: 36  Orientation: Pansexual Romance: Astarion Class: Bard Subclass: College of Swords Origin: Entertainer Theme Song:  Smoke and Mirrors — Gotye
Personality Bex is intelligent, but flippant. Not very many things upset her, but when they do anger her, she goes from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye. She can typically diffuse tense situations simply by a lack of reaction or by telling a joke. She generally keeps a cool head, so much so it seems like she doesn’t care. In reality, she’s tired. She’s seen some shit and she is over it.
Her philosophy is life is hard, why make it harder? She’s way too tired for that shit. She tries to help people out and, while she’s not perfect at it, she tries to be encouraging. She's friendly yet apathetic to most people when she meets them at first.
She doesn't hate a lot of people either. Someone would really have to press her buttons or give her a reason to hate them. She’ll hate someone as vile as Cazador with her whole heart, or she’ll just really hate someone like Naaber due to pure annoyance. She’s the type of person who prefers to stick up for the underdog.
She struggles to trust people on a deeper level, yet she continues to seek out connection with others. Under all her bluster, she has a good heart. She's just used to taking care of herself with little to no help from anybody else. Some people see her as trashy and she'd tell them they're correct.
Although not cruel, she doesn’t always do or say what someone needs her to. She’s blunt, but she’s never intentionally hurtful. Sometimes she just sucks at wording herself. She’s never been one to brush off someone else’s hurt feelings with “I’m just being honest” either.
Although she’s intelligent, she’s good at playing dumb in order to get what she wants. She knows how to game the system and happily teaches people she trusts to do the same. When she feels wronged, she won’t hesitate to be cruel in retaliation. She can talk people into things and her charisma can get her out of sticky situations.
Background Bex is originally from my show @thebonnevillegame, but think of this as a multiverse situation. This is what would happen if she were born in Faerûn as a tiefling. Not to worry, there are not spoilers for Bonneville here.
Bex was born in Baldur’s Gate. Her family is, unfortunately, well known for being plagued by drama and heartache. She’s the bastard child of Garrick, a half-elf carpenter, and Sharon “Sauci”, a tiefling barmaid. Sauci believed that, if she got pregnant, Garrick would stay with her and they would live happily ever after. He didn’t.
Sauci was left to raise Bex alone, but she didn’t have much interest in being a mother. So, Bex spent most of her childhood taking care of herself.
There is more to her backstory, but I can’t reveal much else. It mirrors her backstory in The Bonneville Game a bit too closely. But she did start running with the wrong crowd and it would eventually bite her in the ass. She was also betrayed by someone she trusted and loved very dearly.
But prior to getting a tadpole in her head, she was working as a cook in Baldur’s gate.
Likes: Money, cooking, baking, discovering new foods and recipes, animals, working out, being outside, collecting cookbooks, and reading
Dislikes: Most authority figures, debt collectors, working directly with customers, large crowds, and being seen as “soft”
Fears: She’s afraid of losing her freedom and losing herself. She believes she deserves every bad thing that’s come her way, but it still scares her.
Quirks: Bex doesn’t usually bother to remember names at first. She gives nicknames or identifies people by specific quirks they have. I.E. If someone likes grilled cheese and pickles, she might refer to them as Pickles.
Once she thinks you’re sticking around in her life, she’ll remember your actual name. She’s too used to people coming in and out to let herself get attached too quickly.
Astarion: Knives Gale: Rocky (she found him in a rock) Wyll: The Hero or just Hero Lae’zel: Green Bean (how she survived being killed by Lae’zel, we’ll never know) Shadowheart: Shady Halsin: The second she found out he’s called Daddy Halsin, she grabbed onto that and refused to let go. Karlach: Firestarter
Mental Health:  Bex has a wall up. She has been hurt by various people in her life. She struggles to let people get to know the real her. She has an easier time helping people with their problems. It distracts her from her own and it means people ask less questions about her. She’s terrified of falling in love due to past trauma which means Astarion is trouble for her.
Halsin is less scary to her, at first, due to assuming he’s just a horn dog.
Favorite Foods: Homemade Bread, Potato Scones, Brownies, Macarons, and Paella
Favorite Drinks: Coffee and Mermaid Whiskey
Favorite Flower: Poppies and Selûne’s Tear
Height:  5’6”/ 167.64 cm
Skin: As a Tiefling (she’s a human in her OG story), she has pink skin.
Hair:  Her hair is a brighter pink, contrasting with her skin. (In her original story, she does dye her hair pink. In BG3, it naturally is.)
Eyes:  Demonic Orange.
Color Scheme:  As a pink being, she tries to find colors that complement her tone. Sometimes she defaults to black, brown, or grey just to avoid accessorizing. However, she’s a fan of blues, teal, and sage. She doesn’t like to dress in too much gold, but she thinks it makes for a nice trim on clothing.
Fashion Sense: She shifts between lazy and all dolled up when getting dressed. Some days she will just throw on whatever is in arm’s reach. Other days, she takes time for her makeup and clothing. When she knows she has a full day of cooking ahead, she prioritizes efficiency and comfort above all.
Family:
William “Will” McQuoid Bex barely knows her father and they haven’t interacted very much. He has quite an extensive criminal history that dates back to when he was 14. He’s gotten in trouble for fights, drugs, robbery, assault (including assault at a funeral), and a number of petty offenses. He’s a violent person, but he’s good at coming across as friendly when you first meet him.
Sharon “Sauci” McNamara Sauci is a terrible mother who is more focused on herself than her kids. She only had Bex because she believed it would make her father stay. When it didn’t, Sauci lost interest in her. She’s even been known to try to flirt with the people her daughter is dating.
Siblings Who even knows what’s going on there. Sauci only has one child, but Will has no idea how many he might have.

I love the Naruto World so much that I wish I was in it, I want to be a female Senju princess who's a god child to Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.
I'll love to be the last child of Tsunade Senju and Jiraiya Ogata, be the Sixth Hokage after saving the Leaf with Naruto Uzumaki, and is the main romantic interest of Sasuke Uchiha, a former student of Orochimaru Yashagoro.
I want Naruto to have a sibling, so I chose Deidara cause Uchiha Clan heirs tend to be rivals with Uzumaki Clan members and I don't to replace Hanabi for somebody else, so Hinata got a big sister now...how about Yume for the name...yes.
My name should be Misako, have a big sister named Akira who's the main romantic interest of Itachi Uchiha, and is the Chosen One with elemental bending powers as the Light Avatar who must destroy the Dark Persona.
I shipped myself with Sasuke, NaruHina for life, NejiTen, ShikaTema, SaiIno, KibaTama, ShiShi, ChoKaru, LeeAma, KankuAka, SoraKae, GaaMatsu, AsuKure, KakaHana, JiraTsuna, MinaKushi, Orochimaru X OFC, Itachi X OC, MY AU!Deidara X OFC!Hinata's Big Sister, ToneShion, IruAya, SuiKari, Sakura X OMC, GaiKao, KoteAnko, KabuGure, HayaYuga, IzuShizu, YamaYuki, ObiRin, Rin and Obito will be still alive, my dad's not gonna die too, Asuma deserves to live for his daughter, Neji stays living, etc.
There's ten tailed beasts from zero to nine; Satori the Reibi, Shukaku the Ichibi, Matatabi the Nibi, Isobu the Sanbi, Son Goku the Yonbi, Kokuo the Gobi, Saiken the Rokubi, Chomei the Nanabi, Gyuki the Hachibi, and Kurama the Kyuubi.
I want Team 02 [Yoruha - Hikaru, Nayumi, Migaku & Sakura], 03 [Gai - Neji, Tenten, Lee & Kaede], 07 [Kakashi - Naruto, Misako, Sasuke & Hinata], 08 [Kurenai - Kiba, Tamaki, Shino & Shiho], and 10 [Asuma - Choji, Ino, Shikamaru & Akane].
Sakura need to be shipped with somebody else rather than Sasuke, she was falling for him and broke her friendship with Ino for his heart.
If I was her, I'll choose my friend over my crush and keep my bond.
Misako got three childhood friends; Naruto, Hinata, and Sasuke...it's that clear and simple.
Misa doesn't like fan boys at all like Sasuke don't like fan girls, they're from enemy clans and are best friends who's secretly betrothed to each other as a way to form peace to both family trees.
Watching all episodes and movies, I've learned many shocking plots and twists throughout my childhood.
Itachi's an amazing big brother, I wish Naruto has a brother and I gave him one...named Deidara rather than Menma cause I see that alternative future son of our ramen lover if he was married to Sasuke.
I want Naruto to have his first kiss with Hinata, which leads to this scenario...what if Misako was between both him and Sasuke during the episode where they were finding out their teams.
Misako will kiss Sasuke...again, here's the catch, they shared their first kiss at a young age cause they liked each other and can see their futures as a badass power couple.
Itachi had already predicted that his little brother was in love with Misako...like he was with Akira, Akira will prevent Itachi's death and tell Sasuke the real truth herself with her baby sister by her side.
I've read a fanfiction on Wattpad that has an original female character portraying as Nezuko Kamado, her name was Misa, I loved it and saw the major changes they've done...it was glorious...shout-out to the author.
I know one way to make Sasuke feel overprotective to Misako like she's understanding with him, I've made three characters we know as original characters named Hikaru, Nayumi, and Migaku.
Hikaru will portray from Toneri or Seimei, Nayumi will depict from Shion or Sawaii, and Migaku...I got something for him...Yoichi or Ren.
Misako and Akira, two sisters with their father's white hair, their mother's brown eyes, their father's red markings, and their mother's beautiful looks and gorgeous figure...I got their character portrayals...Heinrich Prinz (Akira) & Eugen Prinz (Misako).
Indra & Asura was in love with the Kishimoto Sisters named...Luna & Kira...
Kira will be the light that guides Asura to the Sun and into the Spirit World for a bright star.
Luna will be the shadow that escorts Indra to the Moon and get him away from the Phantom Zone for a dark cloud.
The sacred ancestry continues to Madara Uchiha's lover and Hashirama Senju's wife...Mito Uzumaki & Himiko Hyuga.
Years have passed, I want Misa to become the Light Avatar since the Dark Persona was her complete polar opposite...they're destined lovers.
I honestly want Misa to have two sons and daughters; Daisuke (OMC: Haruto Uchiha), Mikoto (OFC: Amara Senju), Yuta (OMC: Isamu Senju), and Sayuri (OFC: Kiyomi Uchiha).
I'm giving Naruto another son and daughter; Menma (OMC: Soha Uzumaki) & China (OFC: Naruko Uzumaki).

you're so right Hori really half assed Hawks's storyline
Hawks is the type of character where if you think about him more than the screen time he's allotted you're like hey wait a minute why isn't He the narrative foil for society???? Because Izuku falls apart as a narrative foil immediately by getting his powers and losing the status of quirkless and instead becoming the special literal chosen one with superman powers.
Hawks is born into this society in a worse off situation than everyone save Eri. He has the animal type of quirk that the story insists was prejudiced against. He also somehow has all three quirks cause the wings are a mutation, the telekinetic control is from his mother and that's emitter even though she also had extra eyes, and the hardening of the feathers is transformation. His versatility is commented upon but that is kind of huge.
Anyways Keigo was purchased off the streets by the government and we see his innate desire to good somehow stripped away until the boy who wouldn't steal is now assessing who he needs to kill and how to kill them and is surprised to hear his own name. The boy who looked up to heroes was turned into a spy playing pretend in every aspect of his life. Being a hero is something the commission believed he didn't care about not really. And we simply I don't think will get to see what becomes of Hawks. He knows how to do nothing but Work. Fanfics give him other hero friends but he doesn't have those until incredibly fucked up things build a bond between him Endeavor and Best Jeanist. When the commission went down and his mother betrayed him he showed almost no emotion except to say he was glad they were gone. And then continued to do exactly what he was trained to which was sketchy espionage and used Deku to do it despite his reservations about children in war.
If Lady Nagant had been used as a mentor type figure we'd have seen more of how the underwokrings of society are Really upheld as we've been shown and told the Hero stuff is all a facade and generally not that useful. Hell they still have Police. Heroing is definitely for show. Hawks more than the high schoolers trying to conform to this society I think would have been an interesting avenue into the World Hori built with more maneuverability to understand the villains. Because from where the Heroes stand it's trying to convince the villains they're simply wrong about their goals because these teenagers Don't get what any of the villains are talking about. Which to be fair Shigaraki also had no clue what he was doing and Dabi's motivation was lunacy. Spinner gave up on his goals almost immediately. And Toga belives it's her god given right to have other people's blood so you know

Tumblr media
Another one
I KNOW this chart is for OCs but I had to make one for Belial.
There is severe scarcity of Belial content on Tumblr.
Elaborating on my choices below 👇
⚠️Huge wall of text incoming!!⚠️
For aesthetics, I chose a picture of someone's back with those black hand markings. I interpret it as the taking of Belial's wings (I headcanon he originally had angel wings 🪽 but were ripped off by Lucilius🤬) and I also interpret it as sexual abuse. Just think about it bro. Like almost every aspect of a primal beast is chosen by its creator, at least the prominent aspects.
Belial was made to be a seductress, which is a charming part of himself imo but the bad part about it is that during the beginning of his existence, it was also his job to be one, for who? I'm thinking for the Astrals.
My impression of the astrals so far is that they're all psychopathic dipshits, which was even confirmed in Heart of the Sun ( GBF anniversary event), that they don't see primal beasts as anything other than tools (according to Raziel). Belial had a purpose that couldn't be shared with anybody else, which was to incite a rebellion. To cover up for it, he had to have another purpose. Which was 1) being Lucifer's adjunctant, and 2) being the Astrals' sex toy.
Belial was an exquisite creation, like a demo of Lucifer (cause they both are similar regarding power). And of course, a primal beast needs to be approved by the council of astrals before usage. Lucilius could've proposed both the functions of being Lucifer's adjunctant and tracking machine, and to make it more appealing, a toy with endless stamina that won't break after being used 😂👎👎 (I imagine the astrals like Greek gods who plucked humans and 'used' them, given their sadistic nature). So Belial, both visually appealing and with an alluring personality, would be the perfect unbreakable toy. A tool and a toy, 2 in 1! Approved!! Awful. A toy who won't fight back, a toy who can't say no, a toy who won't break... ughhh. Primal beasts are obviously sentient, despite their inability to reach human complexity. He was literally built to be unable to connect with others, to be sincere, or to just live a normal life like the other archangels have adapted to. That's cruel 😭
So yeah, I don't care if Belial was made to enjoy what they do to him no matter what, I still consider it sexual abuse because Belial is sentient.
Lmao ok that was for aesthetic picture #1 ☠️ Let's proceed with the rest. For the second aesthetic picture, I selected a white snake wrapped around an arm. The snake represents Belial, the serpent. And the arm represents Lucilius. If you're familiar with WMTSB, you are well aware of how tightly Belial is wrapped around Lucilius' finger, and only hangs on tighter and tighter to the man who named him "worthless" lol. (One of the meanings of "Belial" is worthless).
And the third aesthetic picture I've chosen is that of a snake in applussy. The image represents temptation and lust. Pretty much it. You know the drill, Belial serpent, and the apple of temptation.
Now, we have the favorites. By favorites, it means: favorite color, favorite movie/show, and favorite animal.
For his favorite color, I just went with purple cause that's one of his main colors. It's just a headcanon. He changed his white, gold, and red uniform for a black and purple one. He must like purple🤷‍♀️
Next, favorite movie, I didn't know honestly. But he strikes me as someone who'd like the absurdity of 1980s horror films. So I chose the Shining. Maybe he'd like it.
And for his favorite animal, I think he'd like cats. They probably remind him of Cilius. Same gaze, same personalities, meow. And it's just cute to imagine him with cats. 🐈‍⬛
Character inspirations. LMAO. So the first one is that dude Lucifel from El Shaddai. Let's face it, Belial is that guy but with a huge feather boa and huge tits chest and meaty thighs. Massive upgrade tbh
Next up is obviously, Belial the demon. I just put that cuz yk, the name. No need for more explanation.
Then there's the snake of Eden. Belial is the serpent luring others to take a bite out of the apple 🍎 we know this.
The songs are more like what I think of him rather than what I believe applies to him. But at the same time most of those apply to him imo. I don't needa explain just check out the songs yourself, you might like some😁 And that's it.
And finally, there's Lucifer. I know Satan was the snake as well but I'm separating them for the sake of interpretation. By that I mean, Belial is both the serpent and the fallen angel. If you know what I'm saying.
💕Thanks to everyone who read this wall of text💕

answering some of these questions, b/c i feel like it
what is your favorite line you’ve ever written?
a couple:
1: Sitting on Tillman's couch in his dingy apartment, Declan wondered to herself: After nine official dates, fourteen non-official dates, and countless make-out sessions, was it still too early to say "I love you?" (tilldec blaseball)
2: She looked… tired. Beyond tired. Tired in a way it didn't understand, but knew one day it might. (blaseball, it's hard to explain? basically a series of interviews of "star players" but i felt like the OC i made for it was too cringey).
3 (a long one): "Alright, then maybe you should stop rescuing animals until you get glasses," Marcus replied.
"What is so terrifying about it that I can't see right now? It can't be that bad." Tanya rolled her eyes and it took every ounce of restraint in Marcus's body to not grab her by the shoulders and shake her.
"Okay, well, for starters, it looks more like a human than a dog. That straight up looks like a naked-ass dude."
"No, it doesn't!" Tanya squinted, trying to get a good look at it.
"It does! It has arms and legs and a nose– a NOSE, not a snout! And it's sitting like a kid that got put in time out."
"Well, if it's a person, it doesn't speak much English."
"Much?"
"Yeah, it said something earlier that sounded like 'BEWARE' when I put him in the kennel-"
"Tanya, you are fostering a whole ass demon. That is a whole ass demon you are trying to rehabilitate. I don't think you can rehabilitate demons."
"Well, has anyone tried?" Tanya asked in a sing-songy voice.
"If anyone's tried, they haven't lived long enough to tell the tale! Because demons fucking kill people!"
(^this is from a creepypasta fanfic where someone "rescues" the rake to rehabilitate it.)
tell us about a character who’s very different than you who you love a whole lot
my ocs: martín!! he's kind of a prankster guy who gets tortured to the point of insanity and decides to kill a couple ppl about it. he's fun. he's too tumblr sexyman-ish for me to feel comfortable sharing LMFAO
fic: tillman! it's hard for me to write tillman because writing embarrassing things is hard for me. also, yuniesky, because i am a very earnest person and it's hard to write people who are convinced they can stop having emotions if they ignore them long enough
how do you name characters and places?
characters: most get a placeholder name, and sometimes that placeholder name sticks. a lot of my characters' names are chosen by culture. like my jewish characters are named Rebekah, Ezra, and Edith. my latine characters are named Martín, Marco, Josefina, Francisca, Catalina, etc etc etc. however, these can be difficult, because most baby naming websites are run by american moms that do not know what they are doing. so when i'm trying to find Chilean names (this family is from Chile), i have to jump thru 93919495392929487 hoops to find names that are ACTUALLY used in Chile. and if i change where they're from for Plot Purposes, i'll probably have to change some names, too. god bless that one italian mommy blogger that painstakingly explains italian naming traditions. now i just need this for several central and south american countries. anyway, i compile a list of names (and their meanings, if there is one) and choose from those. i have a giant note in my notes app of me naming characters. usually, bits of it will look like this:
Tumblr media
the concept for this character was a friend for my protag, Gwen. I had been sitting on the idea of an 80s-esque, neon-loving hijabi for a long time, so i made her one of Gwen's friends. I'll probably have to change Dhia's name, since I've been considering changing what ethnic group she's a part of.
places: i start by writing out a description, then shorten it down until i have something i like. here's an example:
The Regular and Plain Dimension
ThRegAnPlDim
ThReAnPlaDim (Threan-Pladim)
ReAnDim
RePlaIm
→ Pladim
→ Replaim
I decided on Pladim.
For towns, I go to a town generator and write down bits i like, then mash them together into different names. I usually don't like the whole name, since the whole names they give tend to be... odd (Cape Neotsfailouise?? Brixcray and??) but there might be little parts of the generated names that i like. for example, i might decide to use Cray somewhere in the town named based off of Brixcray.
i may post more later o7

Okay, slithering back in here again💕💘💞💗💖💘💕💞. I'm a linguistics freak. I need to know if you have plans for language(s) in your work.
Are there any characters with distinct speech patterns, maybe using different sorts of words than others (due to heritage, education, geographic location)?
Do you ever use modern slang or local vernacular when writing? Is it a conscious or unconscious choice? Do you take influences from any real world english dialects in your work?
My god hello I love this ask so much thank you for the interest ily.
I DO have language things, but I absolutely have NO linquistic background and don't really know how languages are put together most of the time but what i DO have is very specific ideas about what they SOUND like so. Bear with me
Each species has their own native language, and most everybody is also fluent in a common language, Solan (they might be SOME exceptions but you would be hard pressed to find someone who didn't know it)
I don't have a TON of specific stuff about Solan, but generally it's a mishmash of words from each individual language, warped over the centuries into a more distinct set of sounds. It began as more of a pidgin language, very disconnected, mostly just enough to serve the purpose of interspecies communication without a whole lot of personality or flow. As time (LOTS of it) passed, some parts of Solan evolved in one way while other languages evolved another until it is now distinct, but you could still trace many words back to their roots in their language of origin, if you wanted.
The species languages are still a work in progress, but I have pretty set ideas about a few of them. Disregard my names if you want because I don't know if i'm gonna want better etymology for them later or anything (right now it's just... what sounds nice to my ears). Montaran (fauns), Arbor (satyrs), and Praetar (ipotanes) are all in the same family, kind of like romance languages or whatnot, but don't draw from each other quite as much as, say, italian and spanish, for example. But they're formed with generally the same collection of sounds, with similar enough grammar structures (particularly Arbor and Praetar) that they are more coherent to each other than to any of the others.
Montaran in particular is the one of these I've fleshed out most thus far: it is heavy in repetition and is mostly hard sounds. I don't know if any of this will make sense because again- no linguistic knowledge in this brain- but Montaran uses the repetition of a base segment, usually a vowel sound, as a distinction between meanings. This is especially evident in names, which all follow a sort of consonant-vowel-repeat-at-will format. (where most non-name words follow a consonant-vowel-consonant format. I know that sounds extremely similar, but the difference is mostly in how they end. Non-name words end in consonants). For example, Natakala might be the name of a town: that's four segments, each with the same vowel sound. Place names are typically long, whereas people's names are typically actually rather short- just two or three syllables, because of the way that fauns use them among families.
This is getting a little off topic now but fauns typically have children in sets of twins- just a little biological quirk (like having litters of kittens or whatnot). Because of this, twins will typically be referred to as one whole, rather than two separate entities. They have individual names, but they are built within each other so as to be used as one- let me give another example because I don't know how else to explain it: you have a twin named Sumaya and a twin named Suna, those twins, as they would typically spend lots of time together, would often be referred to as Sumayasuna, like one single being. That name, and their individual names, were chosen to be part of one another, they are named to be meshed, or rather, they are given an enmeshed name which can be split. And both their individual and twinned names follow that consonant-vowel-repeat format, because that's the rule of faun names.
I feel like this is really long already but you asked and I love to deliver so the other language I have anything concrete on is Shotali (nightlings). They're unique in the sense that the other humanoids have distinctly mammalian phonetics, either because they're mammals, or, in the case of iarans (a species of merfolk- I'll get into nix later), because they evolved to mimic the sounds made by those mammals. Nightlings do utilize much of the same phonetics (again, driven by mimicry), but because there is an evolutionary gap where they did not mimic other humanoids, because they were separated from them, their is a distinct avian aspect to their languages that other species lack. This is also something that makes me have such specific ideas for what nightlngs' voices sound like, but that's another thing entirely so I won't get into it.
Nightlings have an odd ability to make this clicking sound at the back of their throat- like clicking your tongue, but it makes the sound from something specialized for that sound, rather than just jury-rigging something with your tongue and the roof of your mouth. This, naturally, forms a part of their language. It's used much like a glottal stop, but whereas a glottal stop is the absence of sound, this click is an additional one and so is almost treated like a consonant. The only time it's used in conjuncture with another sound is in hard consonants, which are rare in Shotali (it's mostly soft consonants and vowels), in which the sound, say a K or V, is made at the same time as that click. Nightlings new to speaking Solan, particularly early post-cataclysm, as otherwise they would learn it throughout childhood like the other species, may pronounce this clicking consonant even in Solan as part of that accent.
Merfolk are the other species that has Things, because I just have yet to have any concrete ideas about how Arbor, Praetar, or Homonic (humans) function. Iarans, as vocal mimics, can and do speak, but they actually lack a verbal native language. What they do have is a visual language, stemmed from nix, who lack vocal chords. This sign language (I just... I just called it Handspeak but that sounds stupid so,,, i'll come up with something better maybe eventually) isn't quite like any terrestrial sign, real-world or otherwise, but it IS the linguistic precursor to Solan sign, used on land across species as needed (the only language to not have a 'home' species). Because they use it underwater, it's slower, with less focus on movement than in asl (i'm using asl as an example because it's the one I know, but a lot of sign languages are similar in structure, especially french sign language). Rather, handshape has much greater meaning and is more complex, less repeated, because fast movements underwater are harder to make, so rather than exist in a general-handshape and specific-motion format, Handspeak exists in more of a specific-handshape general-motion form. That 'base motion' is typically slower and larger- accounting a little for decreased visibility in water.
Solan sign, or just Sign, made it's way out of water and is used across the continent, but is very concentrated on coasts, because it's used to talk with merfolk (particularly nix). It's more common than sign languages typically are by hearing folks in the real world, but it's still not necessarily a language that lots of people are familiar with, especially inland. It has a very different structure than Handspeak, as it isn't hindered by water and is used in a different context. Sign typically does follow the more familiar general-handshape specific-motion pattern, so it's a bit easier to learn and moves quicker than Handspeak. A lot of the words use the non-dominant hand as a 'base' of sorts, providing a center point for the other, by which the motion of the dominant hand and its position in reference to the base define the meanings of the words. Another example because I don't know how to explain: Think of the ASL word for 'year' (google it assuming you don't know, handspeak.com my beloved). The 'base' hand is like the one that stays in the middle, while the dominant hand is the one that revolves around the other. So in Sign, that base could be held in the center of the body, or to the right, or wherever you want that's convenient, and the hand that's doing the motion is defining the word by it's relation to that base. If you only have one hand free, the base is assumed to be the center of your body, which requires you to be a little cleaner with your signs, but you can easily do it one-handed, which is useful for when you're busy with other things. ASL relies a lot on placement in relation to the body: one thing by your head means a different thing than if you sign the same motion with the same handshape by your chest, or up in the air, etc. Sign relies less on that, and more on a base hand, or the implication of one, in the case of one-handed signing. Not to say it never uses the body because it does, but not as much, and not as inherently.
Oh god oh fuck I'm writing you an essay.
I haven't played as much with distinct speech patterns as I probably could have, because i'm really uncertain how i would want to go about it???? I mean, i guess i do a little bit but not quite consciously. Like I've written a few things with Julian and/or his family, and in my quest to find a good 'god.' substitute in a christianless environment (lol) i gave them a weird little specific curse that I now realize nobody else has ever used and i don't like enough to extend across others, so it now sounds like either his family specifically, or the region he grew up in, has this way of cussing that nobody else does. And I don't like it as a world thing, but i do like it as a family thing, because then that's a little something specific to just them that I can play around with.
Or say, Reiji speaks very formally. Not in the sense that he's overly stuffy or even... formal isn't quite the right word, but he's very deliberate about his choice of words most of the time. In an attempt to minimize misunderstanding, he is overly specific and/or tries to capture exactly precisely what he's trying to say in a way that is satisfying, which sometimes leaves more questions than if he said something less accurate to what he wants to convey, but more broad and thus easier to understand. He is usually very clear, very little grey area for interpretation, but when even he isn't sure what he's conveying, he gets really confusing really fast if whoever he's talking to can't make the logic leaps that he can in those connections.
And then like the thing about modern slang and local vernacular is that i almost certainly incorporate it into my writing without even meaning to, because that's how I talk and think and hear people talking and thinking. And I am also subject to using hyperspecific words because I want things to mean exactly what I'm thinking and that's how i start to become best friends with words like 'rouged.' The same with dialects, I don't on purpose take influence from them, but the ones I hear and use make their way into my writing because I have different associations for each one. I can't think of a really good example right now but I mean,,, is writing not just returning all the words you've read and heard and said into something else? Into something that's hopefully a little bit more than the sum of its parts?
I'm going to thank you once more in the actual body of this post because this ask made me go "FUUUUCK YESSSSSSSS" and i'm so glad you like to hear about my fucked up world in my fucked up brain or whatever the hell. if you (actually have knowledge of linguistics) want to recommend things or say something doesn't make sense or say literally anything about literally anything PLEASE DO. I LOVE INPUT AND COLLABORATION AND YOU ARE A REAL ONE <3 <3

Hi! This is a sideblog for updates on the story I typically tag on my main blog as #adira. This story, in fact, is a series which I love very much. My main is @catkin-morgs
The first book (title chosen but redacted bc I don't want it to be too easy to find my under my author name lol) deals most with Adira's struggle in finding faith. Here's a summary of characters and themes and things.
Main themes:
Truth, what it is, how to find it etc
Integrity, staying true to what you believe in no matter the cost
Trust, who to trust especially as connected with the whole matter of truth
Stillness, characters struggle to be calm and still and await God's prompting and they are working on learning that
Important characters:
Adira. The protagonist. Lively, happy and tumultuous, with an unshakeable determination to find truth in whatever form it takes. I need to write a better character sketch of her.
Emily. Side/prominent background character. Complicated relationship with Adira, as she's adopted by Adira's parents but they aren't particularly close (they were as children) nor do they consider one another family. In previous drafts they were far closer, but it doesn't fit so much with how it's seeming at present.
Tom. Side/co-main character. Introduced during the first book and quickly becomes a beloved friend. Struggles with an illness (?) that has caused him to miss a year of school entirely and forces him to rely to some extent on Adira to help him with his classes as she is a whiz at his worst subject, history. Whether illness or injury or what, Tom ends up with a permanent disability that is walking-related.
Dorothy. Adira's mother. She may or may not be an important character in the first book depending on how much of her POV exists - she has some very important stuff that happens which sets up foreshadowing for later books, but worldbuilding may make it little enough that it's not worth including. Hence, she may be important or she may be merely background.
Neil. I don't even know what he's doing during most of this draft. He is introduced during the story and is important in one section - hence I may introduce him quite late or even find a way to work around needing him and introduce him between books.
Mr Saunders. Helps Adira with her doubts and has a complicated, unknown history with her mother. Neither will elaborate, but there's a lot of emotion between them.
Tom's family. They're important to help with the overall sense of community I want to build in this book, but I don't know how well that will translate or how long I'll spend on them.
Current progress: I've written so far three separate first drafts of the first book, one in 2018 (111k, abandoned), one in 2020 (52k, somewhat scattered), and one in 2021 (93k, not entirely coherent). I'm currently overhauling it (including rereading my 2020/2021 drafts which I may draw directly from) and plan to begin rewrites once I've completely re-outlined it and kept the bits I plan to keep. I'll likely at least somewhat outline the next few books as well, at the same time. I also need to do extensive research to ensure I portray Tom correctly, apart from anything else.
Book summary:
This is our world, but in the future, so to speak: a world which, once wracked by war, has settled into peace, with one Ruler, one hierarchy and one religion. The internet is a legend, a distant memory read of in books and wondered about. Everything in this world seems good. But there are dark things underway, and a system that will stop at nothing to preserve the status quo. Despite its seeming stability, pressure in the wrong ways could bring it down, and those who benefit from it are determined to make sure that is not the case. It is a system built on lies… what will they do to prevent the truth, once discovered, from getting out? And what, in any case, is truth? Adira has been confident she knows, all her life: but when another point of view comes into her life, it throws everything she thought she knew into disarray. She must discover the truth of the world before the uncertainty tears her apart, when friends and family are pulling her in both directions.

Vestige AFO/Outside AFO
Firstly--this isn't a meta so much as it is a prediction, since I'm seeing the topic of Shigaraki vs. AFO and what that's gonna look like since there are TWO AFO's to get rid of.
So now that we can pretty much safely assume that AFO is definitely gonna be the final challenge for EVERYONE (heroes, kids, civilians, AND the LOV) on the outside, I wanna touch on what I think is gonna be the difference between the outside AFO and the vestige AFO battles.
This is just how I personally see things going, of course it can go differently. But based on what we know so far, I see several different factors that can be included, but all basically have the same set up:
The biggest difference between Shigaraki vs. AFO outside and Shigaraki vs. AFO in the vestige, is that one is a physical battle, and one is a mental battle.
I'm sure it's obvious which one is which: Vestige= Mental, Outside= Physical.
So in the vestige we have AFO fusing with Shigaraki (ew). Seemingly they're becoming this confusing mesh of a person, where neither AFO nor Shigaraki can tell who is who. But one thing we know FOR SURE without a doubt, is that somewhere in there, there is still a split between the two, dividing them and keeping them somewhat separated:
Tumblr media
If one can take over the other, then both are still in there. Even if only split by a hair. Backtracking to the end of the war arc and the Deku solo rogue arc, there was a lot of words said about what exactly is keeping Shigaraki under AFO's control in the vestige. It's not a battle of strength in there, it's a battle of wills. And what's keeping Shigaraki unstable and unable to take control is his emotional instability and, as said many times, his hatred:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this is backed by the hand on his face in the war arc triggering that AFO awakening:
Tumblr media
Yes I understand AFO was gonna take over regardless, but THIS was the moment it happened. Not any time before, not even during the vestige moment with Nana and Yoichi. That hand. Those severed hands have been reiterated time and time again to be triggers of his trauma, and that hand was chosen specifically to be associated with the precise moment AFO fully took over. So basically my main point here is that this battle over who controls the body is mental, not physical.
SO where does that leave the way of defeating both AFOs 🤔
On separating ShigAFO in the vestige:
That's mostly set up to be a Deku task. For one, I mean he's the main character this is what he said he wanted to do, but also he's literally the only one who is physically capable of even doing it. Nobody else can access this vestige realm. A lot of other more in-depth reasons I think this but I'm just gonna stick to stating the obvious: Who else can literally physically do it? And, he gets there, how? I mean, that requires a whole meta on its own and god I've made plenty on this topic, but something something about words and coming to an understanding and being a hero who doesn't sweep someone's pain under the rug anymore etc. etc. etc., I could go all day. But the appropriately named talk-no-jutsu so many haters wanna shit on is what I see happening here. Shigaraki can gather himself and hold himself together enough to take control again on the outside, maybe we're shown this by him decaying vestige AFO to break free of him (following through on what he tried to do in the war arc but couldn’t) and start using his own body to fight alongside the heroes to fight a common enemy.
Now there's an AFO on the outside, but still an AFO in the vestige. Both need to be dealt with. The physical AFO is a task for the kids and the LOV to deal with together, in a way. This is the redemption part of the LOV arcs.
This is where it could honestly go ANYWHERE, and at this point I just don’t know, but there are a couple details to wonder about:
There is this fucking door that was getting weird attention drawn to it back in the rogue arc:
Tumblr media
Sooooo...possibly that door will connect OFA and AFO. Maybe how Deku gets to Tenko? Or maybe how all the users can help fight the vestige AFO. I've no idea what the hell that door is for tbh. Because Yoichi was behind a vault door, I think it’s something like that again. Tenko being behind it (not literally but like, symbolically I guess, Deku opens the door to get to him when the time comes to save him). Idk, an idea I’ve thought about a lot.
Then there’s All Might basically being down for the count in the physical world, but possibly being useful in the vestige world along with the other users. Mostly because I don’t see him being completely irrelevant like he has been lately in this final arc.
Nana and Shigaraki being set up to meet each other again. That’s gotta happen.
Yoichi and AFO coming face to face again, obviously in the vestige. That also has to happen.
So I’m partially believing that the rest of the users will help with vestige AFO once Tenko is able to gain control over his body, leaving the only issue to be vestige AFO needing to be dealt with.
Anyway--I don't think the two AFO's will both be dealt with by just Shigaraki. Not completely.
I really, really think that physical AFO is going to be decayed by him--because that's how Shigaraki can put a stop to the destruction AFO is causing. That's how he redeems himself and helps save everybody. I mean Shigaraki decaying AFO has been a popular prediction for a loooong time, and I just don't see that moment being dedicated to the vestige realm where NOBODY will witness it besides Deku. Yes we would see it, but the background civilians wouldn’t and therefore wouldn’t change how they view the LOV. Meaning saving them is kinda pointless if it doesn’t lead to them being seen any differently than they were seen in the last war. Shigaraki, and the rest of the LOV have to openly fight for the civilians and show they've changed. Or show that they don't want to dedicate their lives to snuffing out everything around them, not anymore at least. So that's why I really think the physical fight will be a Shigaraki thing, while the mental fight will be a Deku/Shigaraki thing, where it’s mostly kept there and not interfering with what’s going on outside of it.
I think this got way more specific than I intended it to. Honestly my MAIN POINT was just this:
Vestige AFO= emotional aspect of this fight, handled through Shigaraki and Deku in the vestige---then when they're done, by the vestiges to get rid of him for good
Physical AFO= the actual battle aspect of this fight, the redemption part of the LOV's arcs, the big battle for the UA kids---handled by Shigaraki and Deku (possibly Bakugo too, probably tbh)
