I love Ranking of Kings and I thoroughly enjoyed season one but I would be lying if I said the whole Daida/Miranjo thing wasn't weird as hell.

#like age gap aside #there was no romantic lead up to Daida asking her to marry him #like nothing #and also... girl is traumatized as fuck #she has been through some shit and DONE some MAJOR SHIT #one little ass prince treating her nice is a good start but that shit isn't going to heal her lul #and also she like... kinda sorta raised Daida? Honestly people just have a veil over the eyes like i had no idea you could ever be that way but by the gods its possible to not even notice sexism

So like for context

We went to see Barbie with my mum, and there is the whole big message about unrealistic expectations about women and how you can never achieve them, and how you have to be nice and grateful and you get looked at like a piece of meat

And its very nice and emotional and my mum turns to me right after it with words “well i never experienced it in my life” and i have to spend like a ridiculous amount of time to at least explain to her what it meant and what situations she might have been that are similar

And she honestly goes “well yeah it is how world is you dont have to make a movie about it, like no one ever told me i cant do something or else i would have done it anyway”

And boy oh boy

I cannot even explain yo yall properly how i cannot rven begin to adress all this

Granted with how 8 ended it doesn't make sense for Rose to not be in it at least. Like... Rose isn't my favourite, she's kinda lame, but she's Evie 2.0. Literally. She's being trained to be a bioweapon (is my assumption)

Unless Shados of Rose is all we get for her. Which would suck cuz that DLC is pretty ass imo.
