imagine the soulmates (or lightmates?) being only detectable by the guardian's ghost. the shape of the light of their own guardian matches perfectly or completes itself with the light of their soulmates. and two guardians finding each other in spite of the long lifespan they have and the many chaos and loss they experience, its very very rare.
-and a guardian picking stasis might affect their light, either separate them from the soulmate or affecting the other too-
Imagine if the ghosts can see not only shapes but colors as well. A blend of greens, blues, and purples for some. Reds, oranges, and yellows for others. Some are purple and orange, some yellow and blue, some green and pink. The combinations go on, accentuated by the shapes. Some arc high into the air, others dance around their feet. Some swirl around them in tendrils, others like a heavy mist that encompasses them.
Imagine if they only have one color per guardian and when they meet their soulmate, the closer they get to them, the more their colors begin to bleed into one another, twisting around and around until eventually, they share the same Light.
Stasis freezes those swirling colors, dulls them, prevents any progression toward the blending of their Light.
And then there are the guardians that never meet their soulmates because they're long gone, they aren't born yet, or they haven't died and risen yet. Imagine their light if their soulmate has died their final death, the color draining until it's nothing but monochromatic hues of grey.

Task 1
1.Shallow depth of field (dof)-
Shallow dof since most of the image is out of focus, but the camera in the foreground is in focus and clear.
2. Extended dof-
I have never heard of extended depth of field before but from looking at a Google search it seems to be photographs which some of elongate a subject, using leading lines and having one end of the subject fade from blur into focus, created using aperture.
3. Fast shutter speed
This is an example of fast shutter speed (example: 1/100 of a second) as the Apple has created a splash of water which has been captured in the moment. By using a fast shutter speed the water appears frozen in time.
4. Slow shutterspeed
This is an example of slow shutterspeed (example: 2 seconds) because the slow opening and closing of the shutter has captured the dogs movement over a longer period of time causing it to blur.
5. Low ISO
This is an example of low ISO (around 200) since there is no noise on the image, it is crisp and clear.
6. High ISO-
An example of high ISO (maybe 1600) since the image has a lot of noise/grain and none of the colours are crisp and clear

A Dream
Context: Anthony Ramos and I were near-royals, Percy (My GF IRL) was a step below us and not really featured, my mom was a servant of the actual royals but was close with me, Anthony, and Percy. Lightmates are this universe's version of Soulmates.
There was a public party when there was a display of Anthony and I becoming lightmates. Somehow someone died and we were blamed for it, so we had to go on the run. (Even Percy blamed me and I was scared.) Anthony told me to “follow The Call” and ran off so we were separated.
The people chasing us were singing either a rock/metal cover of either “Defying Gravity” or “Into the Unknown,” but it sounded more like a battle chant. Then I heard “The Call” that Anthony was talking about. It was the riff that we hear throughout "Frozen 2" and especially in "Into the Unknown."
For some reason, it was Brendon Urie singing the riff. When I found him, he pointed me to hide in the hidden pool that was there for some reason. He kept singing the riff as I snuck into the pool.
For some reason, the people looking for Anthony and I gave up. I go to the other side of the pool, get out, and somehow go to a hidden section that is right underneath it. Anthony was already there, and he smiled at me.
“I told you to follow The Call,” Anthony told me.
Anthony and I had to just chill but us was a montage without music. If there were music, the song would be "Bored in the House and I'm in the House Bored."
We somehow got ahold of a radio. We heard Jasmine Cephas Jones giving a speech about how Anthony was innocent. She said nothing about me, but I realized that Anthony had to go back. I told him to go because even though we're both innocent, I knew that he could enter safely back into society.
He didn't want to, but he did. I woke up sad because Percy blamed me for a murder I didn't commit and my “lightmate” was seen as innocent and I was not.
Post-Thought: I talked to my mom about the dream. She said that Light Mates could be like an angel on earth for you. She said that Anthony or someone like him could come into my life just to be there, or they could come into my life to help me creatively.

I tried to use the prism to create that brandonwoelfel look. The unfortunate thing about film is that you won’t be able to see the result after taking the shot. I had to bet on my knowledge on aperture and shutter speed to estimate and just take that leap of faith. Turns out, it was a success and I really love it! Q1 WHAT DOES A HANDHELD LIGHT METER MEASURE? HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A CAMERA LIGHT METER?
A hand held light meter measures incident light, the light which is falling in your subject, measures the intensity and then calculates exposure. Where as a built in camera meter measures the light reflected from the subject into the camera. This is not as accurate as a hand held as the light intensity will not be the same since there is a distance between the camera and the subject. Some light will be lost.
Q2 CHECKING IF YOUR EXPOSURE IS OVER, UNDER OR CORRECTLY EXPOSED ALLOWS YOU TO DO WHAT FOR YOUR IMAGE?
Allows you to make sure you are not losing anything within the shadows or highlights in the image.
Q3 WHY DID JEFF ROJAS SET HIS SHUTTER SPEED TO 1/200TH OF A SECOND AND HIS ISO TO 100?
To freeze everything in frame and eliminate any blur from his subject and/or their clothing.
Q4 BY ENTERING THESE SETTINGS INTO THE LIGHT METER, WHAT WILL THE LIGHT METER CALCULATE?
According to the exposure triangle, three controls which you must take into account are aperture, ISO and Shutterspeed. Since Rojas determined the ISO and shutterspeed, the light meter work calculate the appropriate f stop to use to create correct exposure.
Q5 WHY SHOULD YOU HOLD YOUR LIGHT METER AGAINST YOUR SUBJECT?
That way you get a more accurate reading, the light being read is equivalent to that falling onto the subject, which is what you’re trying to measure.

The Rule of the One and the Realms of Death.
As the One is the only remaining ruling deity. Both the Exiled Ones, the Caravan, and the Members of the Society worship it. Though historical records dating back thousands of years exist. It seems that whatever the One’s original name was, it was expunged from all records. But, otherwise nothing else seems to of been changed. To this end, no one knows how to call upon the One without knowing its true name. And thus its title remains accurates for it is the One-with-No-Name.
In the historical texts, it is said in the time where many Gods walked the face of Gaia. So too was there many religious beliefs and as such there were multiple records in a handful of these God followings. That a single person or group of persons were to be chosen to be the bridge between humanity and the Gods. The historical texts give these people various names; Apostle, Avatar, Priest. So too, the Ruling of the One-with-No-Name isn’t any different from these past beliefs.
A single entity is chosen in what was originally was the best of the Seven Saints. It is widely known when the Old Civilization became arrogant in their place within the realm. They challenged the Gods for supremecy whereby the One descended and made war with man. And like a great flood, humbling man’s arrogance by expunging most of it from the face of Gaia. The children of this society were then selected by the One to rebuild upon the new foundation. Free of corruption and vice. And so Utopia was built to house the Members of the Caste known plainly as the Society.
That first generation who had built the city became close advisors to the One and made up a Council of Mankind. The One decreed the Council to have Seven leaders made up of the best of them. Elected by their peers and by the teachings of the One. They chose the prime example of the Society to become those closest to the One. These Seven were to be known as the Seven Saints. However, as with all things, the Seven began to bicker and contend with one another in a jealous ploy to gain the One’s attention.
This resulted in one of the Seven accidentally murdered when the tension boiled over and the fallen tried to stop of the bickering. From this, the One descended upon the remaining Seven with a rebounding fury. Proclaiming that from then on, only the martyr would be close to it. Performing a resurrection miracle before the remaining eyes, the fallen Seventh was risen from the after life and becoming a demi-deity in the process.
She was proclaimed to be the first, whose name was also expunged from records. And forever to be known as plainly as all other things, She-Who-Is-Divine. From that point on the now missing Seventh was replaced by a member of the One’s Angelic Followers known only as the Lightmate.
From then on the Seven broke into Seven Noble Households. Six of Mortal and One of Lightmate. Despite being reborn as demi-deity, She-Who-Is-Divine was still finite in her existence. So, it came to be that near the end of her life. In retribution for the Sevens jealousy, the Seven Houses would open up a tournament for all the join. They would put forth one of their own to fight and die in the tournament. With the last remaining becoming the next She. Regardless of gender, orientation, background. The tournament was open to Exiled One, Society Member, Caravan Merchant, Lightmate, Utopian, or even one of the vile Necrofiend to take part in.
Whomever was to win became a sort of spouse of the One. The bridge between humanity and the Gods. So has it always been. So was it all to be.
But, once the tournament was over, the fight is far from. First to ascend, She must commune with the previous She. Through her blessing, She is granted the remaining life force. As the previous Divine succumbs to mortality and ascends to the Realms of Death. The newly cristened She is to venture the Realms of Death.
Which is as follows:
The Five Realms of Death, is their title but an inaccurate depiction. For the One had four other siblings and they are to watch over Four of the Five Realms. With the One watching over the Fifth. The Realms are assembled in Four Sectors with a Fifth Pillar in the Center. Each Sector made up of Four Realms with the Pillar being made up of the various levels linking the Realm of Death to Haven above and the Inferno below. Thus these pillars and these sectors make up the Five Realms of Death. To ensure, that no souls headed for judgment escape these Realms. In addition to the Guardians of the Sector each singular realm has a Warden who represents the One in that Realm each Warden being a Fragment of the One and thus being true Avatars to the God.
The First Sector is watched over by the Eldest of the One’s Youngest Siblings, the White Conqueror of Gods, Zangyaku the God of Carnage. So named for his hand in singlehandedly murdering the Olympian deities during Abyss’ Coup against Aurora. Embodying the Horseman of Conquest. He watches over the Sector known as the Inevitable. Which holds Four Realms of Inevitablities that All who spark life will encounter or succumb to.
The Realm of Time: The Realm of Time is Wardened by Baron Samedi and his Court of Guédé. This realm holds all those who die naturally from the passing of time or rather by old age. The Baron rewinds time bringing the tired old souls to their prime. So that they may prove what they learned in their long lives. Should the Baron find their answer or skill worthy, they are allowed to ascend to Haven. Should he find them lacking, they are sent to wander the Realm until they discover something of use if they cannot return to the Baron within Four Years. They are demoted to the Inferno.
The Realm of Disease: From birth, everyone struggles against the endless and inevitable fight against bacteria and disease. Though we may try to lengthen our lives, we may inevitably succumb to it. Therefore, this festering realm gives birth to the souls who died from this encroaching plagues. So they might purify themselves of all the sickness they carried with them in the afterlife. Once they have done this, they travel to meet the Warden of the Realm. Kalma upon giving her the proper reverence in their death and respect that is given. She allows them to ascend to Haven, but should they disrespect her or their state of death at any time during their purification or reverence. They are dropped into the Inferno.
The Realm of Syndrome: Sometimes a mortal isn’t given a far shake at life. Sometimes the individual succumbs to something they were born with or grow into. Growths such as cancer, diabetes, or similar such appearances that plague the body. Humans are imperfect so it is inevitable that they would also come out imperfect. But these souls are to be honored and commended for fighting these battles all the same. Therefore, these souls are sent to this realm after facing their trials. To once more do battle with the syndrome and rise victorious. Upon victory from the struggle and purifying their souls, they are met by Odin. Who invites them to dine in his halls and after living one last day in a life where they weren’t held back by such things. He guides to the Haven. As usual, however, should the soul lack manners or discipline they are cast into the Inferno.
The Realm of Youth: Many beings grow to live a long full life. Some see every aspect of it. Some see very little. But, all souls have that choice. Except those who die young. Babies, Infants, Toddlers, Adolensce, Teenages--Children. It is a sad truth that many die young as much as many die old. This Realm is to watch their spirit bloom into young adulthood. These souls are particularly special, for being denied a chance to grow up to what they wish to be. The Warden Dis Pater, helps them with their growth and lets them choose between ascending to Haven or remaining on Gaia to become a Lightmate.
The Second Sector is watched over by the youngest of the One’s kin, Tristitia the God of Blight. Over looking the Realms of Sin as the Horseman of Pestilence. The Sin of Man ever growing and spreading, the first true pestilence of man, Vice. Unlike the other Sectors of Realm, these Four are directly connected to a Circle of the Inferno. As such their Wardens also communicate which the respective Circle’s Prince. As such a tug-o-war exists with each realm where the Prince tries to corrupt and the Warden tries to absolve.
The Realm of Intoxication: Also known as the Realm of Indulgence or the Realm of Lust. This is a realm where those who gave into drug addiction, unwanted sexual thirst, or to ready committed to an idea. This realm appears as if it was a giant bar. Souls intermingling, dancing, drinking, and indulging in their vice as if they never died. The Prince of this Realm like most Circles of Hell, is Lust incarnate as Luxuria Asmodeus Sang. Who serves the Souls drinks, whispers of sexual delight, and other such notions of wanton intoxication. While the Warden of this Realm is Anubis. Who watches the souls strictly, if one gives in too readily to the Prince’s promises. They are thrown into the Second Circle of the Inferno to burn in the fiery whirlwind. If they reject the Prince’s advances, Anubis ushers the soul into Haven.
The Realm of Greed: Con artists, panhandlers, frauders. This is the Realm those souls are sent to. Meeting the Kingpin of All Money Practices, the Prince and False Deity himself, Avaritia Mammon Pródigo. The entire realm looks like a casino. Mammon gambles with the Souls and uses his false deity power to appear everywhere and nowhere. Infinite amount of tables for infinite amount of souls pouring in. Playing poker, blackjack and other such games enticing the souls to go all in and to make mistakes that cost them all their money as the soul arrives with as much money as they had in life, in death. On the same token, the dealer of the gambling and bouncer for the casino is Charon. If a soul wins the gamble or was charitable in some manner gaining humility. They are ferried to Haven. However, if they remain greedy, if they cheat or lose all their money, they are sent to the Inferno. Where all the money they accumilated in life is placed on their back. And they forces to crawl up slopes bearing the weight of their misdeeds. Despite this, there have been a couple of tales where Avaritia will bribe Charon with a coin to let them keep playing to earn their money back.
The Realm of Rage: Also known as the Realm of Anger or the Realm of Wrath. Those mortals who died fighting a unnecessary fight throwing their lives away when they gave into their anger. Those souls remain here and fight one another. Watched over by Ira Amon Vicious the Prince of Wrath. If they challenge him, Ira beats their spirit into a bloody pulp. And they are dragged off to his Circle in the Inferno by the Warden, the Great Kali. If they break free of their blood lust, they are carried to Haven.
The Realm of Hunger: Also known as the Realm of Gluttony. This festering realm is filled to the brink with food for the hungry souls to eat. Devour and gorge themselves in. Their hunger and starvation greatly multipled by the personification of hunger itself standing over the Realm. Gula Beelzebub Kuroyuki, the Prince of Gluttony. After a time, the Warden Guaiwang visits the buffet. And asks each soul to stop eating, those who are able to fight back their hunger may follow him to Haven.
