Hunted
Paring: Liam Dunbar x reader
Warnings: Swearing, blood and injury
Chapter: 5.13
Beacon Hills high school was much creepier at night than you imagined it would be. Sure, you’d been there before late at night, but this was different. You weren’t going to stalk Parrish while a serial killer werewolf was on the loose.
When your uncle texted Scott saying Parrish was on the move in his hellhound form and heading towards the school, you, Liam, Scott, and Stiles left to go find him.
“Hey, can I ask you something?” Stiles asks quietly.
You nod. Scott and Liam were walking ahead of you and deep in their own conversation, so you were curious to know what Stiles was wanting to ask.
“Have you always called Kate Kate and Gerard Gerard?”
“I used to call Kate Mom, but I stopped when she stopped visiting me at my boarding school. I only ever called Gerard Grandad when I was made too-” You stopped talking when you noticed your very pissed off looking uncle marching towards you. “Oh shit, he looks mad.”
“You brought her here?” Your uncle Chris asks Scott before looking directly at you. “I told you to stay home. It would be safer for you there.”
You roll your eyes and bite your tongue. You definitely didn’t feel safer in your uncle's apartment alone with Gerard, who kept trying to poison your mind against the Hale family.
“Where’s Parrish?” You ask, changing the subject.
“I lost him. He’s moving too fast.”
“Scott,” Liam says, looking at something in the distance. “Those guys are not moving at all.”
The five of you walk towards the body of a young man lying outside the school building. The man’s stomach had been split in half by what looks like giant claw marks. The sight made your stomach churn. You take a few steps back and turn to look away as you gasp when you notice another body. “Oh my god!”
“What is it?” Liam is beside you within seconds.
You point at the two other bodies and say, “The beast is leaving a trail of bodies behind.”
You start to follow the path the bodies are on until Liam suddenly stops you and whispers, “Look.”
You follow his line of sight to the back of a school bus, which is open. It takes you a moment to notice what he’s looking at, but once you do, you feel your blood run cold as glowing eyes stare back at your group. The beast is surrounded by dead bodies, too many to count.
“Help me,” a dying boy pleads as he struggles to lift his hand up.
“It's a trap.” Scott starts to walk towards the boy, but Parrish cuts in front of him. “You can’t help him.”
Parrish’s eyes and spine light up red, with flickers of ash falling from his body as he reaches the bus. Liam pulls you back protectively when the beast suddenly cuts the dying boy in two.
“That’s big,” Stiles says, in disbelief. “No one said it was that big.”
“I did,” Liam whispers.
You unintentionally cling to your boyfriend when the beast lets out a loud roar. Parrish growls loudly when his body fully catches fire and starts to chase after the beast.
“What the hell is going on?”
A look of dread spreads across your uncle's face, “it’s getting smarter.”
“Remind me again why we are sleeping here?” Mason asked while placing pillows and a blanket on Liam’s bedroom floor.
“It’s so we can all be together,” Liam shrugs. “Like a protection circle. If someone or something tries to attack you guys, I can protect you.”
After everything that had happened in the past few weeks, you thought it was completely reasonable that your boyfriend wanted to make sure you and Mason were safe.
Mason stared at him, still looking confused. “I get that, but why here? Why not Lu’s home? She’s got a pull-out bed in her room, so we wouldn’t need to sleep on the floor. Plus it’s full of guns and other awesome weapons.”
You tried not to laugh, knowing the reason Liam wouldn’t sleep in your uncle’s apartment anymore.
“Okay, firstly, my floor is comfortable,” Liam says defensively. “Also, have you seen the people who are holding the guns?”
Mason looks at you, hoping you’ll explain further. “Liam is scared my uncle or Gerard will kill him for being a werewolf, or Derek will spontaneously return and kill him for sharing a bed with me.”
“Okay, but I thought your uncle stopped hunting werewolves when Allison started dating Scott.”
Hearing your cousin's name sent an unexpected pain through your chest. You did your best to hide it. “Technically that isn’t true. He only stopped when he found out Kate burned down the Hale house.”
“That’s intense,” Mason says, his mind rolling with questions he’d need to ask you one day.
You plopped down on the ground, and struggled to get comfortable. Liam lays down beside you, and Mason does the same thing on the spot closer to the bedroom door.
The room was silent until Mason asked, “So is the beast really getting smarter?”
You and Liam reply at the same time, “yes.”
“Hey!” you jump when Mason comes running up behind you. “What’s the rush?”
“It’s frequency.”
“What is it?” You make awkward eye contact with Corey when he runs up behind Mason. You give him a polite smile, which he returns, but you still can’t shake the creepy feeling you get knowing he’s in Theo’s pack.
“Every time the beast shows up, there’s frequency involved,” Mason says. “Liam and Hayden saw it at the cell transmission towers. The attack downtown happened beside the radio station. Deaton was attacked by the beast at an army base which has huge rarer arrays.”
“The beast always shows up near a transmission source... like that one,” you say, pointing to a reporter’s van. “This is going to be bad. I've got to go find the others. I’ll catch up with you later. Stay safe till then.”
You find Stiles, Scott, and Lydia in the library and text Liam to join you. When he does, you explain Mason's theory about the high frequency causing the beast to shift.
“I don’t think it’s just that,” Scott says, worried. “Last night, Argent said that it’s getting smarter. What if the dread doctors are trying to make the beast grow faster by shifting?”
“So the frequency is just the trigger?”
“The important part is when it shifts into the werewolf,” he says, nodding. “When Peter was an alpha, he got stronger every full moon. Eventually, the burns healed and he was back to normal.”
“The dread doctors don’t want to wait for the full moon,” Liam adds.
“They want the beast to be as strong as possible and as fast as possible.”
“Why now?”
Liam looks lost in thought for a moment before answering, “It’s Parrish. They sense the threat of a hellhound and are panicking.”
“So what do we do?” Lydia asked, and it was the first time she’d spoken since you joined them. The redhead always seemed unusually quiet whenever you were around. You’d catch her staring a lot. You assumed it was because you reminded her of Allison.
“We’ve got one clue to go on,” Stiles says as he pulls a picture of a shoe print out of his backpack. “This came from the hospital. Whoever's lurking inside the beast is wearing a size ten of indeterminate make.”
“Indeterminate?”
“It means it’s a partial print,” he confirms. “Basically, it was all we were able to get considering all the fire, blood, and carnage.”
Liam claps his hands together as his fear for everyone’s safety grows. “So are we going to try and get the game canceled?”
“No,no, we’re going to play, but we’re just going to hope really hard that it doesn’t turn into a blood-soaked massacre,” Stiles says, with a faint hint of sarcasm in his voice.
“Okay but, um…” Liam looks up at Scott nervously. “Aren’t we kind of missing out on a chance to catch this thing? We don’t have the who, but we have the where and the when.”
“He's got a point,” you agree with a nod.
Scott thinks about it for a moment before shaking his head, “There are too many people.”
“And we still don’t know if it’s going to happen. It just might end up being a regular lacrosse game,” Lydia adds. “It’s possible, right?”
“Yeah, it’s possible. But we should still be getting the game canceled.”
“We’re getting it canceled,” Scott repeats the words, and he motions for Stiles to follow him. “I think I know someone who could help us.”
You sat down beside Lori as you waited for the lacrosse game that Scott and Stiles failed to get cancelled and smiled at her. You chatted to her about her brother Brett and Liam's ridiculous rivalry.
“Hey, guys.”
You shift uncomfortably as Hayden joins you. You did miss your short friendship with the brunette, but you didn’t know how to be around her anymore knowing she was still with Theo, even after he tried to kill you and Scott. You couldn’t trust her anymore.
“So, are we just not going to talk anymore?” Hayden asks quietly.
“We can’t, not while you’re with him.”
The dark-haired girl shakes her head, before muttering, “I still care about you guys. I miss hanging out with you, Liam and Mason.”
“You choose to help someone that’s crazy and dangerous over us.”
“It’s not that simple,” she quips back. “You have friends, family, a boyfriend, and a true alpha looking out for you. I have no one else besides Theo. Without him, I’m as good as dead.”
You feel a rush of sadness for her, not because what Hayden said was true, but because she believed it was.
You watch in sheer astonishment as Kira is sent off the field for almost attacking another player. “I should go check on her,” you say, standing up. Kira wasn’t an aggressive person by nature, so she must have become really riled up by the game. “Make sure she’s okay.”
“I’ll join you.” Lori follows you down from the bleachers and towards the school. She suddenly stops walking when a figure starts to walk towards you, “Who’s that?”
“Derek? I didn’t think you’d be back so soon.”
He smiles, hearing the genuine happiness in your voice. Lori excuses herself and goes on ahead to look for Kira. Derek raises his brows, “Chris told me about the beast. I had to come back to make sure you were safe.”
You opened your mouth to reply but got cut off by a loud crashing noise followed by a scream from inside the school.
“Stay here,” Derek said before running inside.
Of course you didn’t listen to him and followed in his direction into the school.
Of course you didn’t listen.
Your stomach dropped when you burst through the doors and ran into one of the science classrooms to see Kira hovering over Lori with a sinister look in her eyes while holding a broken lacrosse stick above her head.
“Kira?” She briefly turned to look back at you, and you saw her eyes were glowing orange. She ignored you and got ready to swing her arm, causing you to let out a loud yell, “Kira stop!”
Kira spun quickly and kicked you in the stomach, forcefully pushing you into one of the glass cabinets, causing a shard of glass to go through your back and into your stomach. You feel nothing until your body falls forward and you hit the ground. You let out a loud scream as the feeling of all the tiny shards of broken glass dug into your skin. Before you can comprehend what’s happening, your surroundings start to move around you.
“Scott! Scott!”
When everything stops moving, you release Derek’s carrying you. When you reach another room, he gently puts you on your side to avoid the glass going any deeper. The sounds around you start to become hazy, but you can make out the sounds of Kira crying and a male voice yelling about how much blood there is. You look at a small mirror that’s hanging on one of the walls and watch as blood drips down from the table onto the floor.
“There isn’t time!” Derek hisses. “If you don’t do this, then she will die!”
“I’m sorry, but there’s no other way.” Scott delicately lifts one of your arms. He gives you an apologetic look before biting you.

In Which Ondine Sorta Gets Drunk
“That was you?”
“Sorry, Odie.”
“I slept in the living room for a week!”
Word Count: 4k
Pairing: Liam Dunbar x Female OC
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ondine would turn sixteen in two days. The anticipation was close to driving her insane. Olivia said that the change isn’t anything to be scared of, and that she should look forward to it.
“It feels like you’re regaining a part of yourself you never knew you lost,” she’d said wistfully just yesterday. Ondine tried to follow her advice and not worry, but it was futile. What if it didn’t work? And what if she does kill someone?
She hadn’t spoken to Liam or any of the pack since their meeting in Derek’s apartment a few days prior. Ondine no longer sat with Mason and Liam in any of their classes, much to Mason’s confusion. When he asked Liam about it, the boy just shrugged and changed the subject.
Though there seemed to be an unspoken agreement among the siren and the wolves; we are on the same side. It was almost unnoticeable to Ondine aside from the occasional concerned side glances she’d recieve from Scott, Liam, and even Stiles. It would have been weird if she hadn’t been giving them similar glances.
Like now, in the school library, when Ondine was hyper aware of Liam and Mason studying across the room. It wasn’t odd for Ondine to be in the library with her sister during homeroom and lunch. She had nowhere else to be.
“Are you gonna eat that?” Levi’s voice broke through her stupor, and the girl blinked before handing him the apple he’d pointed at. “Thanks, Odie.”
Liam’s head tilted to the side and he looked over, so Ondine assumed he’d been listening in. When he caught her staring, a teasing grin came to his face as he mouthed, ‘Odie?’
Discreetly rolling her eyes, Ondine mouthed back, ‘Shut up. It’s a long story.’
It wasn’t a long story. When she was a baby she couldn't pronounce her name right, so it always came out as “Odie.” The nickname had stuck, as much as she hated it.
Quick as lightning, Ondine averted her gaze back to her lunch before Olivia could see where she was looking. Though soon enough she found herself meeting Liam’s eyes again. And again. And again. It was becoming annoying how magnetic it was, and she was all too glad when the bell rang and she had an excuse to leave.
But then, as she was packing up her bag, Ondine saw Liam standing behind a bookshelf, waving her over with a serious look in his eyes. Conflicted, she shoved the rest of her things into her bag ever so slowly, before finally giving in and telling Olivia and Levi that she wanted to check out a book before class.
She had a feeling she was going to regret this.
After she was sure the two were far down the hall, Ondine slung her bag on her shoulders and walked down the fiction aisle, finding Liam standing at its shadowy end. He was leaning against the shelf, his hands shoved in his pockets, with a scant smile. “Hey.”
“Hi.” She smiled back at him, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “What’s up?”
A shrug was his initial answer. “Well, your birthday is in a few days, right?”
“Yep. It’s on Friday.”
“You nervous?”
“Pfft. Me? Nervous? Please, I don’t know the meaning of ‘nervous.’” The joke fell flat when her face softened a bit and she started gnawing on the inside of her cheek. The disbelieving look Liam gave her didn’t help. “Okay, fine. I’m terrified.”
“Don’t worry,” Liam said, placing a hand on her forearm. “If you go on an angry rampage around town, I’ll come stop you.”
Ondine looked at where his hand rested so casually on her arm, a light blush dusting her cheeks. “I’m sure my mom will love that. While you’re at it, tell her how I snuck out of the house to swing by Derek Hale’s place for a midnight chat.”
Liam chuckled, rolling his eyes as he let his hand drop to his side. “Okay, good point… Besides, I’m in no place to go saving anyone.”
The Beck girl tilted her head at the way his smile faltered when he said it. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t have control on full moons yet, and when I get mad I lose control then too,” he said, ruffling his hair. “I guess I know a thing or two about midnight rampages.”
“You said you don’t have control yet. How do werewolves keep their cool?”
“It’s something about a metaphorical anchor; someone special to you that keeps you anchored to your human side.”
“Do you think that could work for me?” She wondered who her anchor would be. Her mind first went to her mother, but although she loved the woman very much, the trust wasn't all there as of late. Giorgia had mentioned that sirens gain control by focusing on their fear, that being afraid keeps you human. Ondine didn’t like being afraid, so she was open to whatever this anchor thing was.
“Maybe. I don't know anything about sirens…” Liam’s voice trailed off, and Ondine was aware that she could hear his heartbeat hammering in his chest without having to focus on it. She searched his face, seeing his now panicked eyes flickering to something behind her.
Furrowing her brows, Ondine peered over her shoulder. There was nothing there, just an empty library and Liam’s beating heart echoing in her head. She blinked, and suddenly one of the beastly men that had attacked the hospital was standing in the corner, staring right at the two of them.
She whipped back around, reaching for Liam’s hand. “Do you see that?” Her whisper was soft, and she was startled when she looked behind her again to see that the beast was gone.
“You can see it too?” Liam asked, squeezing her hand slightly.
Ondine shook her head slowly, pure confusion written on her features. “I did, for a second. But now it's gone.” She raked her other hand through her hair, still holding onto Liam. “Maybe it has to do with my birthday being so soon. I–I can hear how fast your heart is beating. Maybe this is the calm before the storm.”
“The storm being whatever happens on your birthday? That’s comforting.” He looked over her shoulder again, swallowing hard. “So… what? I know that berserker is just my imagination messing with me. Do sirens read minds?”
“Olivia said that's one of our abilities… She mentioned that our mind reading was mostly used to see what our victim’s are afraid of.”
“Oh.” He looked sheepish all of a sudden, and took his hand from Ondine’s to rub at the back of his neck. The girl just gave him a lopsided grin, hoping it was comforting.
“It’s okay to be afraid, Liam. It doesn't make you any less brave.”
It was then that the bell rang, and the teens’ eyes went wide. “Shit,” they said in unison, scrambling out of the library to reach their respective classes.
****
“Hurry up or I’m leaving without you,” Olivia said kindly on the other end of the phone.
Ondine sighed, trying to maneuver unlocking her locker, holding her backpack, and talking on the phone all at once. “Yeah, yeah. I’m goin’ as fast as I can.”
“You’ve been texting me just that for ten minutes.” She hung up after that, leaving Ondine with one less thing to worry about. She hurried to get the rest of her things from her locker, eager to see her sister and ask the question she'd been pondering ever since lunch ended: how did their power over the mind work?
She froze upon hearing a loud voice echoing down the near empty hall, “What the hell is this?!” It sounded like Coach Finstock, loud and angry per usual.
It drew her curiosity a little more than the question of her powers, and Ondine found herself walking toward the origin of the sound. She raised a brow when she turned the corner and saw a hoard of papers flooding out of Coach’s office. The sound of a printer whirred through the air. From around the other corner, Liam and Scott appeared, also drawn to their teacher’s aggravated yelling.
She made it to the office at the same time the boys did, nodding in greeting. Ondine bent down and took one of the sheets off the ground, her throat going a bit dry when she saw what it was: a copy of the Dead Pool.
Waving Scott and Liam over, she showed them the paper and watched as their shoulders tensed almost simultaneously.
“It’s like what happened to my printer,” said Liam as he peeked into Coach’s office. More copies were still being spit out of the machine. Liam tugged them away from the door so they wouldn’t be seen, sighing as he pointed to the paper. “You see the difference?”
Ondine quirked a brow and leaned over to see what he meant. Her eyes found their way to the bottom of the list, where three Beck names were typed. It took her no more than a second to realize that her price had been upped big time.
“Derek’s not on the list anymore,” Scott pointed out hollowly, looking from his beta to the siren standing at his shoulder.
“And I’m not worth three million. It’s eighteen. Eighteen million dollars.” Liam’s voice broke a little, and it caused Ondine to drag her gaze from the paper to the boy. He looked rightfully nervous.
She noticed her own voice had a quake in it as she spoke up. “Um, not to one up you or anything, but I’m worth twenty-three.”
The two wolves could smell the anxiety coming off her in waves. Liam noticed how she was digging her nails into her skin. So he slipped his hand into hers to keep her from hurting herself.
The action surprised Ondine so much that she couldn’t hide her blush in time, much to her embarrassment and Scott’s amusement. The alpha hid his grin behind his hand, saying he had to go do something that Ondine didn't catch.
Her skin felt hot where he touched her, and her face was burning, but she didn’t want to let go. Not yet anyways. She squeezed his hand tenderly, not seeing the way his smile grew.
****
“Finally!”
Ondine hopped into the truck’s driver seat, which Olivia had forced her into for more practice behind the wheel. She turned the key, backing out of the parking lot with shaky breaths. Whether her nervousness was from finding out that she was now worth more than her own house or from driving, she wasn't sure. “Sorry. I lost one of my books so I had to go to the library to find a spare and–”
“I don’t care,” Olivia snapped, rolling her eyes. “Just drive please.”
Her sister’s bad mood was becoming contagious, so with a huff she turned a little too sharply onto the main road. Olivia was quick to criticize her driving, only worsening the younger girl’s mood.
“So,” Ondine said after a few minutes, her voice snippy. “Remember when you said we can read minds? How does that work exactly?”
The previous bitterness was forgotten immediately at the prospect of sharing what she knew. “I’m so glad you asked. When we read minds, it's like… hearing their thoughts. You find out how to get to their hearts, and whether that be through pride or fear depends on the human. But we don’t go around searching for people to lure to watery depths anymore, so I never have any reason to use it a lot of the time.”
“Uh huh,” Ondine nodded, trying to soak all the information in. “And how do we ‘lure’ people?”
“Illusions, remember? Mom told me that it's possible to craft entire realities in human minds, showing them their ideal life and trapping them with it. I’m only able to cast tiny enchantments though, so they’re almost like really realistic shadows that follow you around.”
“... Hey! Last year I kept seeing a monster in my closet! That was you?”
A near evil cackle was her answer. “Sorry, Odie.”
“I slept in the living room for a week!” Ondine was filled with anger at the sound of her sister’s unsympathetic laughter.
The older girl wiped a tear from her eye, a wide smile spread on her face. “I’m sorry, all right? It was a joke. Sigh. I made it go away after a while, didn’t I? … Okay, I wanna tell you something. But don’t tell Mom, because she doesn't like when I mess with people’s minds. Promise you won’t tell?”
Ondine spared a glance at the girl beside her, feeling uneasy about the sinister smirk she saw. “Sure.”
“You know that boy we saved from the well? The werewolf? I noticed how he kept bothering you, so I pried into his mind a little bit and found out what he's afraid of. Turns out he’s scared shitless of those berserker guys. So I formed a little illusion to follow him around everywhere. You should have seen how petrified he was the first time he saw it! Ha! He had his tail between his legs and everything!”
Unbeknownst to Olivia, Ondine was utterly and completely livid. Liam, sweet Liam, did not deserve to be tormented like that. She wanted to scream at her sister, yell curses until her throat was raw. There was a compelling temptation to attack her sister until she swore to do away with the mental manipulation she’d done on Liam.
Her hands tightened on the steering wheel, her breath becoming heavy. Right when she had almost made up her mind, Ondine blinked, realizing the thoughts she was having. She hadn’t felt that angry since those men had threatened her father.
“Ondine? You good?”
Sucking in a sharp breath and steeling herself, she grinned tightly. “Yeah, I’m good.”
She wasn’t good. Ondine had to find a way to get rid of Liam’s ‘shadow’ as Olivia had called it. With a grimace, she realized the perfect place to find him would be at the lacrosse team’s annual bonfire to kick off the new season.
****
Ondine couldn’t believe she was doing this. The music was too loud and obnoxious, and the smell of alcohol burned her nostrils, but somewhere in the crowd was Liam Dunbar, and she was determined to find him. Maybe knowing that it wasn’t his own imagination but her sister’s that was making him see that berserker would help him?
Ondine: You at the lacrosse party? I need to find you.
Liam: ...
No reply. Gritting her teeth, Ondine squeezed between two dancing teenagers and tried to find him the old fashioned way. She went up on her tiptoes, trying to see over the many heads. Too bad she was 5’1 and everyone else was a freaking giant.
Someone caught her arm, and she whipped around, hoping it was someone she knew coming to her rescue, only to find a tipsy girl she’d never seen before. “Want a drink?”
“No thanks,” Ondine said, watching the girl shrug and down the drink in her hand. Hastily walking away, Ondine crossed her arms over her chest as she got closer to the bonfire burning brightly at the center of the party.
She wandered around to the other side of the fire, relief washing over her when she caught sight of Malia Tate dancing wildly with a flask to her lips. Ondine hadn’t spoken much with the werecoyote, but she could probably point her in Liam’s direction.
“Malia!” Ondine yelled over the music, catching the girl’s attention immediately. Bless that super canine hearing.
“Hey!” Malia smiled at her, not pausing in her dancing as she took another sip of what was most likely an alcoholic beverage. Her face fell a bit after, and she tossed the flask aside. “Scott said we can’t get drunk. Disappointing, right?”
“Oh yeah,” the Beck girl agreed instantly, wanting to get her question out as fast as possible. The sooner she could leave this party, the better. “Have you–”
“You know, Liam talks about you a lot,” said Malia out of the blue. “He says your smile is nice.”
The bluntness caught Ondine off guard, her jaw falling slack as she took in this unexpected information. Her neck burned red, and she tried to brush it off. “That’s nice. Um, speaking of Liam, where is he?”
She started to point behind her, only to lose her balance and start to fall. Ondine lurched forward and caught her arms before she could hit the ground. Malia’s eyes were slightly out of focus as she stood up straight again. “I thought you can’t get drunk?”
Malia laughed in reply, shrugging like it was no big deal. “I guess Scott was wrong then.”
Ondine latched onto the older girl’s arm, not wanting the drunk coyote to get into trouble. Her eyes scanned the area, and finally she found Liam. He was sitting at a picnic table with Mason and a concerned looking Scott, but something was wrong; Liam was tilting to the side just like Malia had. He was drunk too.
An uncomfortable groan passed Malia’s lips as she leaned onto the siren. “Is this what drunk feels like? It doesn’t feel as good as I hoped.”
“Scott!” The alpha’s attention was caught, his eyes darting to find Ondine dragging a slumped over Malia toward him.
“What’s happening to them?” She sat Malia down gently next to Liam, directing her question at Scott.
All he could do was shrug, panic crossing his face. “I don’t know.”
Ondine met eyes with Mason before kneeling in front of Liam. She snapped in front of his face, seeing his eyes flutter open and closed every few seconds. With pursed lips she asked, “How much has he had to drink?”
“Not enough to get him like this,” Mason replied incredulously, obviously having no explanation either. The three sober ones—Mason, Scott, and Ondine—all shared a perplexed look. And though she knew she hadn’t had a lick of alcohol, Ondine began to feel off.
She reached out for something to support her, leaning onto the table as the world shifted around her. Nausea overwhelmed her senses in an instant, a sharp headache coming on. “What the hell? I never… I never drank anything.” Despite the sureness in her voice, her words slurred together.
“Neither did I,” said Scott, though his voice sounded far away. He was holding his hand in front of his face, almost like he didn’t recognize it.
Wincing, Ondine squeezed herself in between Malia and Liam, her mind getting foggy. “That music is really bad… can’t they play somethin’ like The Beatles?”
Ondine’s rambling gave Scott an idea, and his hazy eyes moved to the DJ. He caught the guy turning up a nob, and as it slid up the sound board the ringing in his ears got worse. “It's not the drinks… it's the music.”
“I have… I have to cut off the music,” he said to Mason. “Don’t let them out of your sight.”
The alpha stumbled away, leaving three seemingly drunk supernaturals with one human who had no idea what was going on.
Ondine rested her head on Liam’s shoulder, having no idea what was going on. Scott said something about the music, though it hadn’t registered in her mind. The ringing in her ears was making her head spin, and she hardly realized it when two security guards started to drag them away from the party. Her hand lazily reached for Liam’s, just barely grazing his skin before she slipped into unconsciousness.
****
When Ondine opened her eyes again, her head felt clear. That awful music from the party was gone, and she was lying on the floor of the school’s hallway. With a groan she sat up, massaging her forehead. “That is the last time I ever go to a party.”
A chuckle to her left drew her attention, and she dragged her dreary eyes over to see Liam sitting beside her. He gave her a lazy grin, and she sent him one back. They helped each other up, standing shoulder to shoulder and slightly leaning onto each other.
Upon seeing Derek Hale, she gave him a tiny wave, to which he grinned in reply.
Scott offered to drive her home, but Ondine didn’t think that would be wise. She’d just ride her bike back home (it was the least noisy option for transport). Right before Liam could leave with his alpha, Ondine caught him by the arm and dragged him a little ways away. She knew every one of them could overhear, but she didn’t really care.
The truth about why he kept ‘imagining’ the berserkers coming after him did seem to put Liam at ease, she could tell by the way his face softened a bit. “Will I keep seeing them until your sister takes the enchantment away?”
“I think so,” Ondine replied, sorry she couldn’t help him. Suddenly lighting up, she had an idea. “Hey, she only created an illusion of the berserkers because you’re afraid of them. So I bet if you get over you fear they’ll go away.”
“Easier said than done,” he murmured, ruffling his hair with his hand. He seemed to do that a lot when he was nervous.
She wasn’t sure why, but his downcast expression made her want to fix it. With a smirk and a brief wave of confidence, she nudged his shoulder. “Malia says you like my smile.”
Liam stumbled over his words, not sure whether to deny it or laugh it off. To his luck, Scott called his name before he could say something that would surely make him even more humiliated.
He looked down at Ondine, taking in her amused grin and mischievous eyes. It wasn’t an expression he saw regularly, and he almost wished he could see it more often. She seemed less cold this way. “I gotta go.”
Ondine flashed him a smile; a full teeth, wide smile that stretched across her face. It nearly took his breath away, before he stuttered a goodbye and raced off so Scott could take him home.
All Ondine could do was laugh at his response, making her way outside and toward her bike that she’d hidden in some bushes. Liam was… something else, that was for sure, and not just because he was a werewolf. The way he made her feel so happy was terrifying, and Ondine wasn’t sure if these feelings were a good thing.
Her mother hated him after all. Besides, she heard from Olivia that crushes come and go all the time. She’d probably wake up in a few days and be weirded out that she ever blushed at the thought of Liam Dunbar liking her smile.
Then again, she’d blushed really hard.

Derek furrowed his brows, considering what Scott had just told him. “She was affected by the music the same way you were?”
“Yeah,” Scott said, not sure what his friend was thinking. “What about it?”
“Sirens and werewolves are very different creatures. We aren’t wired the same way. The music shouldn’t have affected her at all if it was meant to disable werewolves.”
A brief silence followed his statement. “What are you saying, Derek?”
The Hale werewolf looked up from the ground, his thoughtful eyes meeting Scott’s. “I think there’s something different about her. She’s not like the other ones.”
“... Is that a bad thing?”
“Not necessarily. Ondine said she wants to trust us. Hopefully, that means she won’t be in the business of attacking us.”
Indeed, attacking them was the last thing Ondine wanted to do. Though she often laid awake thinking about what her mother would do if she found out she’d been speaking to the very people she warned her to stay away from.

"Go back to school." Derek says as Boyd. Isaac and Julia show up at his place.
"Well actually we can't. Boyd, Julia , and I are incredibly and unbelievably sick." Isaac tells him as Derek then says with brain damage.
"Well, I have a migraine, Julia is throwing up, and Boyd here has explosive diarrhea." Isaac points at them so Boyd explain his plan to Derek.
"So why is Julia here if this plan can kill her if something goes wrong?" Derek asks as Boyd lets the water run.
"We did think that." Boyd says looking over at her sitting on the table looking at what Stiles texted her about Deaton.
"I'll be fine if I stay out of the water. And the third person taken was Deaton so Scott and Stiles are trying to find him before it's too late." She lets them know.
"You should go help them." Derek tells her.
"How am I supposed to help? I just predict and know when death happens." She tells him as Stiles texts Julia saying they needed her help finding Deaton since she can seek out supernatural things.
Julia: Just get Lydia to try to do it. It will give her some practice into what we are. I'm busy helping the others.
Stiles: Fine, you're such a pain!
Once the room had enough water Boyd threw the line into it, "Is this gonna kill them?" Isaac asks looking at the water.
"I hope so."
"You feel anything?" Derek looks over at Julia.
"You mean death wise?" She asks him, "Not so sure yet." She closes her eyes to pass the time. "Hey, isn't the light on that supposed to be on?" Julia point out after some time.
"Yeah." Derek says not happy.
"What does it mean if it's not." Isaac asks him. "Derek, what do we do now?" Isaac takes Julia's hand into his.
"We fight." He makes his eyes red and the boys get behind him while Julia stays off to the side as the alphas show up.
She wondered what she would have to do to get him alone so Aiden and Ethan enter holding Jennifer. Kali says that the fight will be between her and Derek with no interference or the twins will tear Jennifer apart. Derek sends Isaac and Boyd away.
"I'm going to rip your throat out with my teeth." Derek says leaping at her.
Julia texts Cora letting her know the plan didn't work since they cut the power and now Derek was fighting Kali alone.
"Now." Isaac picks Julia up running through the water before the electricity came back on.
Once they get to Ms. Blake he goes to protect her while Julia watches as Boyd is thrown into the fray by the surging current. Kali and Derek both go down from the shock.
"BOYD!" Julia screams his name getting the bad feeling as Kali is the first to recover and orders the twins to grab Derek and hold him with his hands cupped while Kali lifts Boyd up and drops him onto Derek's claws.
Since Julia screamed his name so loudly, Stiles and the others could hear her from where they were, "That means only one thing." He sighs as Cora and him take off running so Lydia follows.
Cora runs past Julia, who was just standing there because she knew she couldn't do anything and wish she felt it earlier. Stiles rubs her back before going over to Derek. When Lydia gets to the doorway she looks at her sister just standing there before turning to leave.
-
It's been a few days since Boyd was killed and Derek went MIA and Julia and Stiles learned more about Derek's past from Peter when they were younger. Julia still felt that she could have stopped Body from dying so she's been awful quite around most people.
At the moment she was at school alone at night because she had a the instinct that she was finally used to. There she found Tara lying on top of the school name.
Not much longer the other four show up because Lydia called them saying she's experiencing the same thing as the pool. None of them saw Julia or the dead body until Scott walks a few feet away from the group, "Guys, Julia found the dead body."
"What?" Stiles rushes over to see her standing there just looking at Tara. "Julia!" He calls out for her so she turns to face them.
"It's Tara, Stiles." She walks over to join them.
"What?" He looks behind her.
"I just called it in so your dad will be here soon with the others."
Later in the day at school during class, Julia didn't pay attention since she was drawing in her notebook. She was so zoned into what she was doing she didn't pay attention to Stiles and Scott talking.
After class the three of them go look for Ethan while Lydia distracts Aidan. "Why are you even talking to me? I helped kill one of your friends. How do you know I won't kill anyone." Ethan says looking at Stiles.
"Is he looking at me? Are you threatening me? You know what I'm going to do. I'm gonna break off an extra-large branch of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane and roll it in mistletoe and shove it up your freaking-," Julia stops Stiles from going on.
"We get it." She pats his chest.
Ethan tells them the story him and Aidan. That they had been Omegas within a pack. They were badly abused by their Alpha and their pack mates who Ethan claims were all brutal killers. Stiles wanted to know why the twins didn't just become Voltron Wolf and fight back, but Ethan explains that they didn't know how to do that back then. He explains that they owe fealty to Deucalion because he helped them develop their innate ability to merge their forms. That they were then able to kill their oppressors one by one, saving their Alpha for last. Ethan explains to Scott that all of the Alpha Pack's original emissaries, with the exception of Deucalion's, are dead.
Ethan suddenly seized by a sharp pain in his chest saying he is feeling the damage that Aiden is having. They all run to the locker room and Scott and Ethan stop Aiden from killing Cora.
Cora tells them she had to do something since they weren't expect finding the bodies before leaving. Stiles and Julia look at each other before following Cora to make sure she gets home okay. On the way taking Cora home, Allison calls Stiles saying he had to tell his dad literally everything.
At Stiles' house he paces his room back and forth with his dad in the room with him, Cora, and Julia trying to figure out how to explain everything to him. He comes up with using the chess board to show how he's never seen the whole board before.
"Scott and Derek are werewolves? And Kate argent was a werewolf?" Noah asks.
"Hunter." Julia corrects him.
"That's- Purple's Hunter." Stiles adds.
"Along with Allison and her father." Cora adds.
"Yeah, and-and my father Deaton. The veterinarian is a Kanima?" Noah says so Stiles is explains what Deaton is.
"So who's the Kanima?" Noah asks confused.
"Jackson."
"No, Jackson's a werewolf." Noah points out.
"Jackson was the Kanima first and then Peter and Derek killed him and he came back to life as a werewolf. Now, he's in London." Julia explains to him.
"Who's the Da-rack?"
"It's Da-rock." Stiles corrects him.
"We do t know yet." Cora tells Noah.
"We don't know yet." Stiles and Julia say pointing at Cora at the same time.
"Bug he was killed by werewolves?"
"Slashed up and left for dead." Stiles answers.
"We think." Julia adds causing Noah to sigh.
"Why was Jackson the Kanima?"
"Cause sometimes the shape that you take reflects the person that you are." Stiles explains.
"And what shape would an increasingly confused and angrier-by-the-second father take?" Noah looks at his son.
"That would be more of the expression on your face right now." Julia points knowingly this wasn't working.
"Yeah." Noah gets up.
"Dad-dad, would you- I can prove it, okay? Look, she's one of them. A werewolf." Stiles tries to get his dad to listen to him but it doesn't work since Cora passes out.
"Call an ambulance." Noah tells Stiles so he does so while Julia stays with Noah and Cora.
Cora ends up getting a hospital room while Stiles and Julia wait and get a call from Scott saying that these sacrifices are teachers. Even still at the hospital Stiles tries to get his dad to listen to him but Noah still doesn't believe it. Stiles and Julia leave the hospital to get to the school to try to stop the third teacher from getting killed.
"Hey, where is my sister?" Julia notices as soon as they get to Scott.
"What?" Scott looks around.
"Where did she go?" Julia panics rushing outside yelling for Lydia, "Scott can you sense her?" Julia looks around.
"She's not answering her texts." Stiles looks at his phone.
Julia panics looking around before letting out a shriek causing Scott to cover his ears and Stiles. "Julia..." Stiles looks at her as she starts to rush off so he follows her then Scott does the same knowing where she was going.
Scott has of course runs past her and as she and Stiles gets to the door Jennifer blocks the door so they can't get in. And by the time they do Jennifer disappeared with Noah.
"Lydia!" Julia rushes over to help her get free.
"So we really are Banshee..." Lydia just stares at her.
"Yes, we are."
Julia takes Lydia to Allison so she can go help the guys tell Derek about Jennifer. When she gets there she plays dumb but Scott uses mistletoe to prove it. Jennifer tells Derek she was the only person who could save Cora.
They all head to the hospital but Stiles and Julia still had a bad feeling about things going on because of how Jennifer had a look in her eyes.
"What's that?" Scott sees Stiles with a bat.
"Well, you got claws. I got a bat."
"What about me?" Julia asks.
"Just stay behind us." Stiles tells her.
As they all get out of the elevator Peter is thrown through doors saying they had a big problem and it was the twins. Both werewolves go at Ethan and Aidan and Julia spots Cora on the ground, "She's our job." She rushes over to Stiles gets Peter to help them.
"Stiles! What are you doing?" Julia sees him to go stand by the door. He uses the bat on the twins but it breaks, "Now get your ass over here." She tells him as they run off.
They all hold up in a room and the guys talk to Ms. Blake as she shows up. As they talk, Scott moms comes through the sound system saying Deucalion wanted Jennifer in ten minutes.
While Derek takes Cora to the ambulance with Stiles, Julia, and Jenifer, Scott and Peter hold off the twins. Hearing Kail, Stiles shuts the ambulance doors while Derek and Jennifer run off.
"We're sitting ducks here without anything to protect us." Julia says with her eyes closed.
"They aren't after us at least."
"Stiles, She's not breathing." Julia notices Cora making him panic before performing mouth-to-mouth until she begins breathing on her own again.
Once she was stable, he says the next time he put his lips to her mouth she better be awake making Julia laugh at him, "Shut up." He glares at her.
"It's funny. And the situation we're in, I need a laugh." She sighs then sees him fidgeting with his hands so she takes one into hers, "We're gonna find you dad..." She says so he looks at her, "Alive. I know we will." She gives him a little smile, "I can't say I know for sure but I have a very strong feeling we will." She squeezes his hand then wipes his tears away with her free hand.
Stiles just stares at her with a million of thoughts running through his head before pulling her into a hug without saying a word. But he didn't need to say anything because Julia knew what he wanted to say just by how tightly he was hugging her.
They stop suddenly hugging when they heard growing outside the ambulance. Carefully looking they see the twins as one still so they lean back to stay out of view. Not much later they hear footsteps getting closer but it was just Scott with Peter. Stiles explains the two problems they have before Scott leaves them again.
"God I wish I was safe with Lydia right now."
"Honestly, yeah. I wish you were with her somewhere safe but no you choose to join Scott and I." Stiles agrees with her.
"I wanted to help so my bad." Julia rolls her eyes causing the two to quickly start to bicker while Peter watches them closely.
Scott texted Stiles saying that Isaac was going to pick them up to get Cora out of here. When they hear the car Julia opens the door jumping out first while Peter puts Cora in the car. "You get the front." Peter says running to get in the back on the other side.
"Stiles, come on." Julia says as he was looking at something.
"Stiles!" Isaac yells at him as he runs off so Julia takes runs to see what he put together and gets it herself running after him as Isaac yells for her too.
She catches up with Stiles so they rush after Scott to see him with Deucalion and he leaves they to go with him. Julia takes Stiles' hand into hers and he holds it tightly as they stand there alone till they go back to wake Derek up.

Feigning Innocence - Liam Dunbar
Tumblr media
Y/N's POV:
Liam couldn't sleep after facing the berserkers and every night for the last three weeks has been crawling into my bed to stop the nightmares and for the most part it's been working. Except waking, cuddled up to the pup has led it a few awkward moments between us but honestly? Liam's pretty fit, it's just the somewhat questionable academic gap as I'm two years above him but age... he's barely a year younger than me.
This time I'm woken by the young pup moving about shuffling about, grumbling to himself about how he just can't get comfortable let alone sleep making me groan in slight annoyance. I love the pup but boy if he doesn't stop moving I'll kick him out. Not wanting to really do that I'm rolling over before I can realise what I'm actually doing, grabbing him and manhandling him until we're spooning, my body wrapped around his. One of my legs ends up between his, his head resting on my left arm while my right holds him around the waist.
"Stop wriggling," I whisper, a shiver running through me when he whines softly before shifting a bit more so his back is pressed against my chest and his right hand comes to rest over mine on his waist until he's finally still. I can't help myself when I press my face into the back of his neck, feeling him tremble slightly until he's falling back to sleep and I follow shortly.
Waking up with Liam is always amazing because he's always there and always pressed into my side. Today he's currently snoozing on top of me, his arms loosely holding on any part of me he could grab so one of my hands and the other on my shoulder. I want to move but at the same time I can't disturb the pup as he just looks so cute and innocent so my free hand cards through his soft caramel locks. My heart melts and I fall even further in love with him when he lets out a soft sound, wriggling around until his face is buried in the crook of my neck and suddenly I'm glad it's Saturday.
I know Liam is awake when he begins to shift his hips, feigning innocence as I try to hold in a groan because he knows exactly what he's doing by the smile I feel against my neck so I hiss in mock anger, "I will kick you out of the bed if your don't stop moving," causing him to let out a quiet laugh before stopping his movements for only a few seconds, "Liam," I add warningly and he just whines, making me realise I would give Liam anything he ever wanted.
"I'm hungry," He mumbles against my neck, causing me to involuntarily roll my eyes as they wolves are always hungry, "Stiles is cooking."
"Go on down, I'll join you in a moment..." All thoughts leave my mind when Liam's lips attach themselves to my neck, sucking and lapping lightly at the vein just below my jaw line, drawing a moan from my throat as that's a weak spot for me. He bites lightly before his tongue soothes over the now tender skin.
"I'll see you down there," He leaves me there, climbing off the bed and making his way towards the door. Before he can even open the door I'm up and spinning him before slamming his back into the wall, "Y/N?"
"You do not get to tease me and just leave it at that," I growl out, pinning his hands above his head, knowing full well that he could easily get out of this with his werewolf strength if he wanted to. The gasp hitching in Liam's throat when I bring my lips close to his but not quite there is enough to let me know he's more that okay with this, "Good boy," The low whisper makes him whine before I'm pressing my lips to his, relishing in the sweet taste that is just Liam.
"Y/N." He whines again when I step away and just open the door, leaving to see what exactly Stiles is cooking and looking forward to the future Liam and I have now.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.

Chapter 69: Negotiations and Blame
Liam, Lori and Sam rush down the tunnel turning a corner only to come up to a fork in their path.
“Which way?”, Liam asks Lori. “There’s gotta be something. Did he leave anything for you to find, l-like a signal, or more rocks?”
“I don’t see anything… I don’t hear anything.”, Lori worries. Liam gives her a small reassuring smile. “We’ll find something. He’s gonna be okay.”
“How do you know?”, Lori asks him with glossy eyes.
Liam looks for an answer. “'Cause–‘cause he’s strong. He’s really strong. He’s knocked me down on the lacrosse field more than once. Now, when I see him coming, I do everything I can to get the hell out of the way.”
Sam smiled at him before closing her eyes to feel for bodies. Once she feels a heavy presence, she turns to the path that's closest.
“Brett actually started playing lacrosse for me.”, Lori tells Liam as they follow Sam. Liam looks at her with a confused expression. “For you?”
She nods, “I didn’t have any friends at my old school. Devenford Prep needed lacrosse players, and Brett practiced all summer. And he got a scholarship and told them that they had to take me if they wanted him.”
Liam places his hand on her arm. “Hey, we’re gonna find him.” He looks at Sam who looks back at him. "Found something.", she says and leads them down the path.
As they walk further, Liam's face scrunches. “Do you smell that? It’s… it’s sour.” Lori nods. “It smells like something’s rotting.”
“I think it’s poison.”, Liam says, making Lori smile. “That’s how we’ll find him.”
They take off further down the tunnel, crossing more and more paths. “They all look the same. Are you sure we’re going the right way?”, Lori asks Sam. "I'm feeling someone's body. They're alive, but…", Sam says.
“This is her power. We're gonna need it as much as we can.”, Liam reassures. Lori sniffles. “I hate this scent.”
Liam stops the girls, coming to a freeze. “Wait. I hear something. It sounds like…”
“…a heartbeat,” Lori and Sam says and they follow the sound as it gets louder and louder.
As they come up to a wide area of the tunnels, they see a body leaning up against the wall near some containers. “Brett!”, Lori exclaims, speeding up to the body.
Brett turns to her with a grimace of a smile. “You found the rocks.”
“Yeah, I found the rocks.”, she tells him as tears of relief prick at her eyes. The other two come up to the siblings and Brett looks up to them. "It's you guys…"
Sam nods at him and Liam kneels near them. “Hey, we’re going to get you out of here.”
Brett tries to give Liam a smile but the blood exiting his body makes him seem like he's wincing instead.
As Lori and Liam grab his arm to pull him up, Brett looks at him. “You’re a dumbass for doing this.”
Liam smirks. “Oh, is that your way of thanking me?”
Brett lets go of his hand and scoffs. “No, that’s my way of calling you a dumbass, but… thanks.”
Before Liam could respond, he pauses at the sound of Sam's growl. He turns to her to see her back facing him.
Her heart raced. She knows the sound of a rumbling engine. Someone was here.
Liam makes a noise and steps forward, his face softening “Sam?”
Sam looks to the side as she feels footsteps. “Get Brett out of here.”, she says.
“What? Why–”, Liam gets cut off as Sam lifts up a shadow barrier, blocking a canister from being thrown towards them, but the smoke from the can quickly fills the area. "Go!", Sam yells. Before they could move, all four werewolves covered their ears as the familiar sound of Argent’s emitters started going off.
“They’re coming.”, Lori bellows. Liam looks at Sam. “Go with them, I’ll hold them off.”
Sam looks at him with wide eyes. "Are you insane!?" Liam doesn't respond but shoves Sam toward Brett and Lori. “Just go!"
"Liam!", Sam yells but Lori grabs at her. "Let's go!", she yells before grabbing her brother's arm. Sam takes the other and drags him down the tunnel.
Making it easier for the girls, Sam helps Brett float with blobs of her shadow and moves the two faster to a ladder ahead.
Lori reassures her brother. “Hey, we’re almost out of here.”
Lori and Sam help Brett up the ladder to move the manhole cover. He peeks around before exiting the manhole and Lori follows upward. Sam turns as she hears footsteps, ready to fight but relaxes as she sees Liam.
"You're okay.", Sam says but Liam shakes his head. “It's a trap. No one's down here–”
The sound of car tires rumbling above the tunnels could be heard above, making their eyes widen as they look to see Lori finally escaping the manhole. “Shit…!”
Liam starts climbing up the ladder. “Lori, come back!”, Sam yells, following him.
“Lori, wait!!”, Liam climbs up faster but before he could reach the opening, a screeching sound stops them as they hear two thuds.
Liam's nose flares in anger as he climbs faster. "Liam, wait–!", Sam calls but the boy launches out of the manhole with a loud growl.
Liam roars, his pain and anger reverberating into the night air. Sam climbs up and peeks to see a crowd of people gathering.
She looks at him with wide eyes. “Liam, shift back now!", she exclaims. "No!", he roars. Sam feels her phone vibrate in her pocket and she takes it out to see a text from Lydia.
Lydia - Nolan attacked Corey in the library, stabbed him in the back of his hand! in front of people that SAW HIM HEAL RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR EYES
What the hell was happening….?
Before she could put her phone away, she felt someone grab her foot and jolted. She looked down to see Scott looking at her with wide eyes.
"Where's Liam?", Scott asks. Sam frowns and looks up. "They're all on the street.", she says and his eyes widened.
“We have to get out there!”, Malia asked.
Sam shook her head, much to the other two's surprise. “It was a setup, Scott. I can't tell if they're actual people or hunters but Liam's up there pissed...shifted…”, she said, trailing off.
“What else happened?”, Malia asked. Sam gives the two her phone, waiting as they read the text and their eyes get even bigger.
Scott's eyebrows furrowed. “Why would Nolan want to hurt Corey?”
“I don't think he was trying to hurt him. I think he was trying to expose him.", Sam said looking at him. "The hunter used the fog and the emitters to probably corner us or to get us to go up this ladder to be exposed too.”
“But why, what’s the purpose of it all?”, Scott asks. Sam frowns at him. "They're toying with us. They're making people afraid of us and giving reasons for us to be killed."
Scott's shoulders sag in realization.
However the next day, they decided to go back to the tunnels.
Sam looks at Scott. “Liam doing okay?”
Scott nods, giving a small smile. “He’s going to go to school.”
She tilts her head as if she didn't hear him. “Excuse me, what?”
The girls look at him to continue and he does. “Yeah, I told him he needed to be like Clark Kent and pretend like nothing happened.”
“I'm sorry, did you forget that he wolfed out in front of a shit load of people and roared at them? That's enough to let anyone know he wasn't human. Not only that, the shitshow with Corey just adds onto our problem pile. If they saw what happened to Corey, what makes you think news about Liam won't come out?”, Sam asks.
“They won’t do anything to him because no one has proof," Scott shrugs. "I mean, it was nighttime and who’s to say that anyone saw anything?”
He walks over to the tunnel with Malia following behind her. Sam gives Lydia a look who returns it with a knowing nod. The two ahead turn around to see the girls unmoving.
“I don't know about you, Scott, but I'm pretty sure you're not sure.”, Sam says. The reassured look on Scott's face drops. He sighs. “Look, he's taking Brett and Lori’s death really hard…”
“So are we.”, Lydia speaks up. Scott frowns. “We are because they were great kids who didn’t deserve that, but we didn’t know them like he knew them. We’re trying to save lives, which is why he needed to go to school and pretend like nothing happened, because if he doesn’t go, more people could die.”
Sam frowns. "No one's there to protect him or Corey. Mason can only do so much. If we're not there… I don't know…", she says, worriedly. Scott frowns sadly. "Sam…"
She looks at him, nearly trembling. "I let two people die when I could've helped. If Liam had died and I had done nothing, I don't know what I would do. It's like it won't stop. Almost everyone we know has either moved on or has been murdered and I'm sick of it, Scott.”
Scott walks up to her, bringing her into a hug. “We're gonna stop them, okay? Then we'll have our lives back. We always do.”
Always…
It never lasts. Ever. Everytime they look up, they have to find something and fight. It wasn't fair.
Sam lets out a sigh anyway. “Okay.”
Scott lets go and leads them down to the Argent bunker. Once they arrived, Chris turned to them, having to wait and asked for info on the night before.
Scott drops a lacrosse stick onto the table they stood around. “They were murdered. Killed by the new hunter in Beacon Hills.”
Sam looks at Chris. “I know you said you were done hunting or that you haven't done any hunting in a while, but the hunter that killed that Hellhound…I thought it was just a coincidence. But these methods from last night were too thought out."
Chris nods, looking shameful. “Gerard.", he says, making the teens' eyes widen. "Which means this is my fault. I’m the one who let him go.”
“You couldn’t have done anything.”, Lydia said. Malia shakes her head. “He could’ve killed him.”
The other four frowns at her. Malia shrugs. “Just saying…” Though, no one could blame her. It was a validated thing to do at this point. The man needed to be stopped.
“We are not executioners.”, Lydia scolded. Malia turns to her. "You are when it comes to war.”
“That’s why we’re gonna make peace.”, Scott says and Sam frowns at him. “Peace? With Gerard? Who made you help turn him into an alpha? Who threatened your mom? Are you sure we're talking about the same person?”
Scott leans on the table. “Sam, you know as well as I do, what's coming. It all leads back to–”
“War.”, Chris concludes. Sam frowns at the man. “Okay, so what stops a war from happening? A compromise?”
Chris nods. “A peace summit.”
Scott agrees. “Right. We meet face to face with Gerard, find out what he wants, and then we stop all this before it gets any worse.”
Scott muttered. “Last time Gerard was at a peace meeting was with Deucalion… he blinded him and then killed everybody else, including his own men.”
Chris turned toward the teens. “I’ll go. I mean, he’s not going to kill me.”
Sam frowns at him. "I recall his words being, "I'll kill my own son if I have to", or something along those lines. You have too much faith in him."
Chris gives her a small smile with a shrug. She had a point. “All we need is to find out what he wants, then we can bargain.”, Scott says. Chris frowns once more. “Even if he does agree, his terms might be difficult to meet.”
Scott shrugs, looking at them. “Well, that’s why it’s a negotiation. I don’t expect to get anything without giving something up."
Chris thinks for a moment before speaking up. “Then you’re gonna have to figure out just how much you’re willing to give, and how far you’re willing to go to stop a war.”
After Chris went to meet with Gerard, Liam informed Scott about his time in the guidance counselor’s office. He mentioned seeing scratches on Tamora Monroe’s neck and saw books about the supernatural on her filing cabinet.
When he asked how she got the scratches, she said from a branch in the woods when she was running. He pressed her with questions, only to come up with one conclusion. She had to be the new hunter.
Sam frowned when Scott had told her what happened. "What?", he asked. She shook her head. "I dunno. That name just sounds familiar. My mom talked about this girl she named "Tammy" because apparently she's been a regular lately."
Scott frowned at this new information. The only thing they could do was inform Chris of the information. As they walk up to the McCall house, they pause at the voices of Chris and Melissa discussing.
“As far as I can tell… genocide.”, they heard Chris say.
Scott and Sam look at each other with wide eyes. Melissa scoffs. “He just wants to kill them? All of them?”
Chris sighs. “If you’re looking for rationality, I think he left that behind a long time ago. In his eyes, Scott has killed half his family, turned his daughter into a monster, and turned me, his only son, against him.”
Sam nods at Scott, agreeing with Chris. “So, I’m supposed to just tell them to give up?”, Melissa asked.
“I’m not asking them to give up. I just want them to survive.”, Chris presses.
Melissa forces out, “I’ve never told those kids to run and hide, and I’m not going to start now.”
Chris counters back. “Melissa, Sam was barely able to control her powers last year and almost lost her life because she was overworking herself. I can't imagine what my father would want with her. And Scott, he was dead in your arms once before, and you had to bring him back yourself. What if this is the one fight they don’t come back from?”
Before Melissa could respond, the young adults walked in. “There doesn’t have to be a fight.”, Scott says.
Chris sighs and looks at them. “Do you two know something I don’t?”
Scott lifts up his phone and shows him Liam's text. “Someone. Tamora Monroe… she’s the new Hunter.”
After discussing with Chris, Sam went home to see her mother look at her worried. Sam's eyebrows furrowed. "What's wrong?", Sam asked.
Denise took a breath before standing. "You'd tell me if something was happening, wouldn't you?", she asked her daughter. Sam looked at her confused before realization filled her.
Something happened.
"What happened?", Sam asked, walking over to her mother. "Tammy came in today and had two other people with her. They were – they looked scared? I think? Like they were looking for something specific and then got upset when they couldn't find whatever they were looking for."
Sam frowned at the news. To see her mom in distress and to know that Monroe had gone into the shop…
It pissed Sam off. Sam settled her hands on her mother's shoulders. "Everything's gonna be okay."
Denise looked up at her daughter with glossy eyes. "How do I know that? How do I know you're not getting yourself into more trouble?"
Sam didn't know how to answer. She wasn't sure either. She didn't want to make any empty promises. Especially ones she couldn't keep.
She gives her mom a hug anyways. "We'll be okay."
A moment passed, and Denise had finally fallen asleep long enough for Sam to slip out of the house to go to Scott's house.
Once she walked in through the back, she saw Malia sitting on the couch, looking conflicted. "Where's Scott?"
Malia looks up. "He said he was going to meet with that Monroe girl.", she said. Sam frowned. "What the f -- alone???"
Malia nods, a sad look coming to her face. Sam softened, sighing. "He must've told you to stay back."
Malia nods again. "I just… I don't know how to tell him how I feel. About him, about all of this! It's… hard.", she says, dejectedly. Sam's eyebrows rose a bit as she walked closer to the werecoyote. "I think it'll get easier once all of this is over.", she says.
Malia looked at her. "How'd you do it? With Derek, I mean."
Sam's cheeks burned a bit as she stammers. "I – well, I can't say there was a lot of talking. I mean, we didn't really talk about it," She frowns as she remembers. "Now that I think about it, I'm starting to think I was doing a little too much talking…"
Malia frowned. "So we shouldn't talk about it?", she asked. Sam looked at her, shaking her head. "No, you two definitely need to talk it out. At least you'll have the chance to."
Malia let out a groan. "It's so complicated for no reason."
Sam nodded. "Welcome to life." She shakes her head. "Anyways, let's focus on the task at hand. I'm pretty sure even if he doesn't get hurt, we'll still have to get involved."
Malia looks up at Sam. “So we're not going to let him go alone?”
Sam frowns, "Hell no. Let's go get Lydia."
Malia, Lydia and Sam walked through the tunnels, quietly following the path towards the heartbeats they heard.
"She didn’t come alone.”, Malia muttered. Sam frowns, annoyed. “Of course she didn’t. This'd make this too easy."
Malia stops and looks at the girls. “There’s a guy armed with a taser gun around the corner.”
Sam lifted a darkened hand, but Lydia stopped her as they heard Scott's voice. “Trust me, he’s not the kind of person that you want to follow. He’s gonna lead you off a cliff.”
“Following me? No one here is following me, Scott. I’m merely an adviser.”, they heard Gerard. “This is because of you?”, Scott asks.
“That’s right. You’re negotiating with me, Scott.”, they hear Monroe taunt. Malia's small growl rumbles from her chest.
“Okay,” Scott sighs. “Tell me how to settle this. What do you want?”
“I want to see a werewolf beg for peace.”, Monroe tells him. Scott quickly agreed to her wishes. “Fine – okay, I’ll beg. I’ll–I’ll do whatever you want. Just tell me that we don’t have to kill each other. That we can find a way to make peace.”
Monroe lets out a chuckle. “That wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.”
“People are dying.”, Scott urges. Monroe counters him. “They’ve been dying. You only care now because it’s your people.”
Scott sweats. “You have to want something other than seeing us all dead. What if we leave Beacon Hills? All of us?”
“If you leave, we’ll follow you. We’ll hunt you down until every single one of you is gone.”, Monroe tells him. Scott frowns. “Some of us have actually been protecting you.”
“Don’t listen to him. He wants you to be afraid.", Gerard tells her but Scott argues back. “But you shouldn’t be afraid of us. We protect people. People like you.”
Monroe scoffs. “People like me? You don’t know anything about people like me.”
“So help me understand. Tell me what made you hate us so much.”, Scott pleads. Gerard found his begging entertaining. “I don’t think you want to press that button, Scott.”
Scott does so anyways. “Something happened to you, didn’t it? Something bad.”
A second passes before Monroe answers. “Bad doesn’t even come close. There was a faculty meeting that ran late one night. We were complaining about the new course rubric. I thought that was the worst thing I’d have to deal with that year. I was wrong. We all heard it, this sound coming out of the shadows. ‘Probably an animal’, they said, but not like anything I’d ever heard. When it moved, it moved faster than anything I’d ever seen. I saw teeth and claws, fangs… and then there was blood everywhere. I couldn’t believe I was still alive.”
The girls looked at each other with confused frowns on their faces. The beast hadn't been their fault to begin with. They were just as shocked to know about it.
“If one of us had been there…”, Scott sadly says, but Monroe cuts him off. “You were there, Scott. You, your friends, and the deputy. Don’t you remember?”
Scott doesn't say anything, so she continues. “Did you even think to check if anyone was still alive?”
Scott almost trembles. “I didn’t know–”
“You didn’t care.”, Monroe says. “How many people have to die so you could keep your secret? So your friends could carry on as if nothing ever happened? I was there. Lying under those bodies. Hiding and waiting for someone to finally find me.”
A moment of silence waves over before Monroe speaks up again. Malia and Sam's eyes widened at the clicking sound of a gun. “You shouldn’t have come alone, Scott.”
“He didn’t.”, Malia calls, and kicks the hunter with the taser gun in his chest, causing him to crash into the wall, watching as he falls down.
Sam's hair shines into a platinum white as she summons a large resin to stop the hunters from moving. Lydia stands behind her, arms ready to launch her screech if she had to.
Sam glares at Monroe as the hunters struggle to move. “I don't know why you think you're the only one to have gone through some terrifying shit. I don't know if Gerard told you, but we were teenagers when all of this started.”, Sam told her.
Scott looked at the girls. “We are not here to fight!”
Gerard smirks. “Well, then you came here to die.”
“We’re trying to protect you!”, Malia growls. Gerard looks at Scott. “You might want to control your Beta, Scott. She could get you all killed.”
Sam glares at Gerard, "You'd love that. There's something out there that's bigger and worse than you, Gerard."
“Something worse than supernatural cannibals?”, Monroe tells. The teens look at her and her face turns into satisfaction. “Yeah, I know everything now. Wendigos, Oni, were-coyotes… people being murdered as human sacrifices?”
“We weren’t even doing the sacrifices. If anything, we tried to stop them–” Monroe cuts Sam off. “And how many people lost their lives while you were trying?”
Scott frowns sadly. “Too many.”
“It was twelve!”, Monroe shouts. “There are people here who have lost their sons and brothers. And all that came out of an official report was an animal attack.”
“We lost people in those sacrifices too! But guess what, we still stopped it!”, Sam yelled, and walked up to her, only pausing when Scott grabbed her. “Us! We stopped it! Teenagers doing things the adults could've been doing! These past few years have been a shock as to why we even graduated, because we were too busy doing what you couldn't do.”
Monroe falls into silence, so Sam continues. “I never asked to get bit. I never asked for extra powers. I never asked to get beaten by his daughter," Sam points at Gerard. "Way before I got bit. He caused that. We never asked to be used as playthings to bring chaos into this city. We didn't cause this shit."
Monroe's face falters a bit. “We lost people. Kids our age.”, Sam says and looks at Gerard again. "He didn't tell you he'd almost killed his granddaughter just to get her out of the way."
Gerard remains stoic. "But who got her killed?" Scott looks down shamefully. Sam faces Gerard. "She died a hero. She died doing what your family loved doing. If she hadn't been trained to be a hunter, maybe she'd still be here.", she says, making Scott look at her with wide eyes.
Gerard raises an eyebrow. "And what of the Sheriff’s son? That poor innocent boy–”
"The poor, innocent, human boy who you almost beat to death because you couldn't get your way like a child?”, Sam asked, making Monroe's eyes widen. "Yeah, he's not here. He's living his life like he deserves."
Sam walked up to Monroe. "Actually, you should be thanking him if he were here, because without him, you'd probably be dead. He actually helped us take out every single thing that threatened this city including what happened 4 months ago."
Monroe frowned. "What happened four months ago?"
Lydia speaks up. “A Nazi Alpha werewolf from the 1940′s was chemically kept alive by these Dread Doctors who were responsible for bringing the Beast here. Things happened and he escaped the chemical coma, brought these memory erasing cowboys, who snatch people out of a city until the entire city is forgotten, only to be his supernatural army. They almost succeeded in making Beacon Hills a Ghost Town and you’re looking at the people, minus three, who stopped that from happening. However, unless you read up on the Wild Hunt in your supernatural research, you wouldn’t believe me.”
The hunters behind Monroe trembled, and their faces gradually turned fearful as they tried to look around the tunnels.
“What's…”, Malia muttered to Scott, but he tried to plead with Monroe once more. “We’ve all been through horrible situations we shouldn’t have. We’ve all lost somebody and you wanna get revenge. I get that, but just listen to me. Something escaped the Wild Hunt–”
Lydia's scream shocks Sam, distracting her from the hold. “Scott – Scott, it’s here! It’s here right now.”, Lydia yells.
“What?”, Scott asked. Sam looked at her in confusion. "What's here!?"
They turned around to see a bloody, skinless figure standing behind one of the hunters near Monroe who gained her feeling back and aimed her gun at the figure. “Get down!”
Scott pulled at the girls down a different path of the darkened tunnel crouching behind a wall. “Hey, stop! Stop shooting!”, they hear Monroe yell. Scott mutters to the girls. “I think that thing’s making them panic!”
"What the hell even is it?", Sam asked.
Malia gets up, growling. "Malia!", the other three yell as she rushes at the figure, and when she slashes her claw at it, it didn't damage anything. It was as if her hand caused it to disperse into the air.
She looked at her friends in confusion. “What are we supposed to do now?” Before anyone could answer, they looked up to see a lit flare dropping into the tunnel.
Scott grows his stance into defense. “What is that?”
“Backup.”, Lydia grins as Parrish jumps from the open grate and lands near them, his eyes glowing bright orange as he roars deeply at the skinless figure.

Stiles and I took the file that Melissa had with her and took it to Deaton. Why we took it to Deaton, I wasn’t sure, but here we were; walking with him through the clinic as he looked at the file.
“Vanishing twin syndrome?” he asked.
“This is part of your expertise, right?” Stiles asked.
“Babe, the man deals with animals and supernatural creatures, not humans,” I said.
Deaton looked over at us. “She’s right.” He looked back down at the file, setting it down on the exam table.
The back door opening had all three of us looking in that direction. What I didn’t expect to see was Scott and Liam bring in the Surgeon Dread Doctor.
“He’s still alive,” Scott said. Him and Liam laid the Surgeon on the table. “Can you keep him alive?”
“I’m not sure he technically is alive,” Deaton said, going to unbutton the Surgeon’s shirt.
Stiles put his arm around my waist, pulling me against him as I stood between him and Scott.
“Screw keeping him alive,” Liam said. “How do we get him to talk?”
“Personally, I don’t think we utilize torture nearly enough,” Stiles said.
I leaned my head against his shoulder. Not getting enough sleep was exhausting.
Liam looked up in our direction. “Did you hear that?”
After a few seconds, the Surgeon jolted up from his lying position, emitting a high-pitched noise that had all of us covering our ears, bending forward. Everything in the room shook like there was an earthquake happening. I closed my eyes tight, feeling Stiles trying to cover me as best he could with his own body. I still had my eyes closed, a headache forming from the noise. I felt two pairs of hands on me, moving me out of the way of whatever’s happening.
Uncovering my ears, I turned and saw that every piece of metal equipment and table was against the door.
“Stop,” Deaton said, stopping Scott and Liam in their tracks. “It’s electrified.”
Scott’s body language told me that he was listening in on the conversation taking place outside.
Stiles wrapped his arms around me, asking quietly, “Are you okay?”
I nodded my head, staring at the back of Scott’s head.
“The cane,” Scott whispered.
“But they took it. They took the cane,” Liam added.
“Mind filling the ones who don’t have supernatural hearing in?” I asked.
“Argent took the cane,” Scott said.
“Well, that’s just peachy.”
~~~
Scott started looking through the file after we moved everything back in place once it became demagnetized… or non-electrified. “Maybe there’s something in here. Something about how he was a Genetic Chimera.”
“Mason had a vanishing twin,” I sighed.
“Now we’ve got a vanishing Mason,” Stiles said.
“What does that have to do with him turning into a 250 year old French guy?” Liam wondered. “How does that even happen?”
“Hold on, Scott might have something,” Deaton said, pointing to Scott. “Mason’s twin wasn’t entirely gone. That’s what made him a Genetic Chimera.”
We all looked at Scott, who said, “The DNA was still there.”
“Metaphorically speaking, the DNA of Mason could still be inside Sebastien as well.”
“How?” Stiles asked.
Deaton looked at me, nodding to give me the go ahead to start explaining. How he knew I knew, I’ll never know… wait.
“Life is energy. Energy doesn’t just disappear,” I said.
“The Dread Doctors may have found a way to break the rules of the supernatural world, but there are some rules that simply won’t break,” Deaton added.
“So Mason can’t just be gone?” Liam asked.
“Somewhere in Sebastien he has to still exist in some form,” I said, leaning my hands on the table in front of me. I watched Stiles pick up the mask, looking at it as I continued. “A spark of energy, a flicker of memory.”
“Hang on…” Stiles said. “Liam, you said Mason said something right before he turned.”
“He said, that’s not my name,” Liam informed.
“He finally remembered his name,” Scott said.
“Damnatio Memoriae,” Stiles and I said.
“That’s what they wanted,” Liam said. “They wanted Sebastien to remember his name.”
“Scott, you know the myth of what happens when you call a werewolf by its given name?” Deaton asked. “Emma, since you have werewolf blood in you, this applies to you as well.”
Scott and I looked at each other, knowing what it meant. He only knows because I told him after doing all that research after he was first bitten. “It turns back to human.”
“What does that mean?” Liam asked. “Someone can just walk up to the Beast, yell Mason’s name and turn him back?”
I felt three pairs of eyes on me with Scott’s next words. “Not someone…”
I looked at Scott, Stiles and Deaton, rolling my head back with my eyes closed. “Why is it always me?”
Stiles grabbed his phone from his pocket and texted our dads, letting them know about Sebastien while Mom picked me up to head to the station to meet up with Lydia. But not before giving Stiles a kiss.
~~~
Hayden and I got to the station at around the same time, walking through together. We looked around, seeing her sister, Sheriff and my dad on the floor.
I looked over at Lydia, seeing Sebastien coming at her, claws and fangs on display for the entire station to see.
Right before Sebastien got to Lydia, I pushed her out of the way and faced him, letting out a high-pitched scream that took over as he dug his claws into my neck. My scream was so powerful that it sent him crashing into the wall behind him.
Feeling the blood coming out of my neck, I put my hands over the wounds, dropping to my knees. Lydia rushed to my side just as Sheriff and Dad were getting to their feet.
Just as I was starting to fall back, Dad wrapped me up in his arms, carrying me bridal style out to his cruiser, Sheriff and Lydia following.
Dad drove as fast as he could to the hospital, Sheriff and Lydia helping me out after Dad put the car in park. He ran to my side, picking me up bridal style again and rushing into the building, my godfather and best friend following.
I still had my hands around my neck, whimpering in pain as Sheriff called out for Melissa.
~~~
A few hours after I had, yet another surgery, Sheriff and Dad left so that I could get some rest, but Lydia, as always, refused to leave my side. I had fallen asleep sometime after, tired from the last few days.
I woke up feeling someone sitting on the side of my bed, holding my hand. I grunted as I looked over at Lydia.
“Hey. You alright?” Stiles asked.
“Did-- did you find… something else?” I grunted. It hurt like a bitch to talk. “Another solution?”
I heard Lydia’s heels click on the ground as she walked to my other side, putting her hand on my arm.
Stiles sighed. “No. Well, maybe.” He looked up at Lydia then back down at me. “It’s you and Lydia.”
I looked over at her, smirking a bit. “Badass bitches on parade.”
I felt Scott and Liam somewhere in the building before Scott walked into my room.
“Hey, Em. How you feeling?” he asked.
I gave him a look, then turned my eyes over to Stiles.
“She can’t really talk. Sebastien almost got her vocal chord,” Stiles answered for me.
Scott nodded and looked down.
“Scotty,” I groaned. He looked up at me. “It’s not your fault,” I said, voice going in and out.
“Em, if I’d had just--”
“You can’t protect everyone, Scotty.”
Lydia smoothed my hair down, shushing me. “Try not to talk too much. Doctors orders.”
“You know she never listens,” Stiles said.
The four of us chuckled, me barely.
“Alright. I’m gonna update Liam. He’s worried about you,” Scott said.
I lifted the left corner of my mouth, letting Scott know that I appreciated it. He walked out of the room, giving that same small smile I’d just given him.
Lydia moved towards the door, grabbing her purse. Stiles placed a long kiss on my head before looking me in the eyes. “I’ll be back. I promise.”
I nodded and patted at his stomach, hearing it growling. He chuckled and placed a sweet kiss on my lips before pulling away and walking out the door behind Lydia.
A few minutes went by before Scott and Liam walked in my room and over to either side of me.
“We’re gonna help you sit up,” Scott said, him and Liam placing their hands on my shoulders. “Ready?”
I nodded, both werewolves helping me sit up, gently. I groaned in protest, the pain in my neck causing discomfort.
The door opened, Melissa, Stiles and Lydia walking in before Lydia closed the door.
Melissa walked to my left side, Liam moving out of the way. “Emma, this is gonna have to be just between us, since I can get fired for it.”
“It’s a cortisone shot. It’s gonna bring the inflammation down,” Scott informed.
I nodded, watching as Melissa pulled said medicine from her sweater pocket, uncapping the needle. I put my arm out, thinking she was gonna put it in my arm.
“Not there,” she confirmed.
I gave her a look that said I wasn’t happy with that answer.
“I can hear the sass laced in your voice with that look,” she said. She sighed and put her hands up on my neck, pulling the tape and gauze back, a groan coming from my lips.
“Oh, yeah, okay, babe, I love you, but I’m gonna need to leave,” Stiles said.
“You’re not going anywhere. Get over here and hold your girlfriend's hand.”
“Okay, fine. I’m not leaving, but I still might faint.”
“What are you gonna do when you two have children?” Lydia asked.
“Faint,” Stiles said, grabbing my hand and lacing our fingers together.
“Okay,” Melissa said, softly, gently taking a hold of my chin. “Here we go.”
I took a few deep breaths, not taking my eyes off Stiles. Melissa didn’t even get 6 inches to my neck before we all heard a thud, a space where Liam was standing. I rolled my eyes before Scott went to move.
“You, stay by her side, I’ll get him,” Lydia said.
Scott grabbed my hand in preparation.
“Okay, Emma, this is gonna hurt like a bitch,” Melissa said. With that little bit of a warning, she stuck the needle in my neck, whimpers coming from me, and hand breaking for my best friend and boyfriend.
As she squeezed the medicine in my neck, I took in a deep breath, wanting this to be over as fast as possible. When the medicine was out of the syringe, she removed it from my neck and replaced the tape and gauze.
Lydia walked over to my side, helping me off the bed. Stiles rushed over to my side, as well, helping Lydia dress me in my regular clothes after Melissa and the werewolves exited the room.
After getting into the elevator and going down to the first floor, Stiles, Scott, Lydia and Liam helped me walk out.
~~~
“Okay, I’ll get Malia. Text me when you find Parrish,” Stiles said, giving me a quick kiss on my temple.
“Hold on,” Scott said.
Liam and Lydia held me up as Scott let go to give Stiles something from his jacket pocket.
Stiles took it, looking back up at Scott. “What is this?”
“Something I’ve been working on for a while,” Scott said. “Just make sure Malia gets it.”
“Okay. Is it a Plan B?” Stiles asked, moving over towards me.
“It was Plan A,” Scott said.
“Plan A never works,” Stiles said, putting his hand on my upper arm.
I looked back and forth between the two best friends.
“This one will,” Scott said.
“Okay,” Stiles said, looking down at me.
I looked up at him, giving him questioning eyes.
“Be careful. Please,” he said.
I pursed my lips together, hearing a chuckle from Lydia. “She’ll be fine,” Lydia said. “She’s with me. Another badass Banshee.”
“Fair enough,” he said, kissing my temple once more before turning around to walk off.
I whined in protest, causing him to turn back to me… with a chuckle. I had my lips puckered, wanting one more kiss from him before he left me to be a hero. He placed his lips on mine, a sweet kiss following.
He pulled away, looking deep into my eyes. “I love you.” “I love you, too,” I mouthed.
He turned around again, actually making his way out of the hospital.
We piled into my Jeep that my Mom had apparently dropped off and drove to the tunnels, getting out and trying to find our way to… wherever the hell we needed.
“Scott,” Liam whispered.
We were standing by a grate as I looked around.
“Do you hear that?”
“I heard that,” Lydia said. “Em?”
I shook my head. “No.”
“Emma, save your voice,” Scott said. More like demanded.
Liam stepped forward a couple steps, water splashing a little bit at his feet.
I heard what sounded like electricity. “I hear it now.”
“Em, Lydia, get out of the water!” Liam said, pushing Lydia out of the water… who pushed me out of the water.
Just as soon as Lydia and I touched the wall and pressed ourselves against it, Liam and Scott got electrocuted by the water, both of them going down to the ground and screaming.
Lydia started guiding me away from them before we came face to face with Theo, who grabbed my arms. “Sorry, Emma,” he said. I gave him a confused look before he placed a kiss on my forehead, turned us both and pushed me over Scott and Liam and into a hole. Thankfully, Scott reached forward and grabbed my right wrist before I could fall the whole way down.
I reached up and grabbed his arm with my left hand, holding on for dear life… literally. “Don’t let go, please, don’t let go,” I whimpered.
“Save your voice. Em, save your voice,” he said.
I watched as Theo knelt by Scott, digging his claws into Scotts side. I gasped as Scott groaned at being stabbed.
“Feel that, Scott?” Theo asked.
Scott gasped as I let out a breath.
“Kanima venom,” Theo said, listening to Scott’s breathing. “Just let it happen. Let it go.”
Scott’s grip on my wrist started to loosen, so I let out a small scream, shaking my head.
“Let everything go.”
“No!” Scott groaned, both of us letting go of each other as I fell the rest of the way, screaming as best I could. I felt a pain on the left side of my chest, feeling the area. Nothing was there. I got up from my fall, feeling around the walls to watch where I was going in this dark area.
I felt a door handle and tried to slide the door open, but to no avail. I reached up and placed my hand on the gauze. I looked around the area that was dimly lit, realizing that Lydia wasn’t near me. I guess Theo didn’t do anything to her like he did me. I guess she was still with Scott and Liam.
I turned back to the door, grabbing the handle and trying my best to yank the bitch open. Still didn’t work. I strained and pulled at the door, but it still wouldn’t open.
Something coming through the side of the door caught my attention. I smiled a little at recognizing the katana. I heard her sword clanking against the door before I moved from it before it fell. I looked up at the source and smiled.
“Sorry I’m late,” Kira said.
I ran up to her, giving her a hug, Lydia coming up next to us. We engaged in a small group hug before we parted. I gave Kira questioning eyes, her nodding her head. “I’ll explain everything later.”
We started running towards where we thought Scott and Liam would be. Stopping at hearing Sebastien’s voice, I looked at Lydia who nodded at me. I looked back over at Sebastien.
“Mason,” I said, to which Sebastien looked over at me and started walking towards us.
“I think you’re gonna need to try it a little louder,” Kira said.
I sighed and looked at Lydia, who nodded her head again. Sebastien’s eyes glowed white as Lydia put her hands on my shoulders.
Sebastien transformed into the Beast, Lydia and I yelling, “MASON!”
It was weird because you could see the power of our voices together, almost like a soundwave going towards the Beast, knocking him down to the ground before essentially exploding into black smoke.
I gasped, seeing Mason running out of the smoke and right into Corey’s arms. Wait, Corey was here? He’s gotta stop doing that invisible mess. I smiled at seeing Mason again, but something else caught my eye.
What was left of the Beast, screaming as it floated through the tunnels around us, Parrish catching it, yelling out for Scott.
Said Alpha jumped forward, grabbing the pike off the ground and hurling it towards Parrish and the Beast, said pike impaling the Beast.
The Beast vanished in Parrish’s arms, his flames dying out and looking at us.
I ran up to Scott, engulfing him in a hug, which he returned.
“Is everyone okay?” Scott asked.
“Not everyone,” Theo sneered from behind us.
I looked to my right, seeing Theo standing with electricity crackling all over him. Scott growled and moved me behind him.
Kira jumped in front of us, twirling her sword around and sending the electricity that Theo tried throwing at us right back at him, her eyes glowing Orange. “The Skinwalkers have a message for you, Theo.”
Theo stopped his crackling, looking absolutely terrified.
“Your sister wants to see you.” Kira stabbed her katana in the ground, cracking the concrete all the way to Theo, a hole forming before him. A hand popped out from the hole, scaring the life out of me. I put my hand on Scott’s shoulder, seeing what I guessed to be Theo’s sister crawling out of the hole.
“Remind me to never watch The Ring with Stiles ever again,” I whispered in Scott’s ear, to which he nodded.
Theo’s sister grabbed his ankle, twisted him and started dragging him into the hole with her. “Scott, help me!” Theo screamed. “No! No! Scott, help me! Scott! No! Scott! Help me!”
His sister was relentless as she pulled him in the hole, not caring that he was crying for help. After they were both back in the hole, the concrete went back to normal; no cracks, nothing, it was like nothing even happened.
~~~
I took Scott and Liam to the clinic, feeling that Hayden was there. Since she was a new pack member because of her relationship with Liam, I could now feel her presence. Same with Mason. I knew that Hayden was at the clinic, anyway, because she texted me, letting me know that she was there.
I went to the station, surprising my parents, who were worried sick about me… as they should. They carefully wrapped me in their different hugs, careful to avoid my neck.
Dad pointed to Sheriff’s office, letting me know that Sheriff wanted to see me. I turned and locked eyes with my godfather, running into his office and giving him my own hug.
Sneakers squeaking on the floor let me know that Stiles was here… well, I already knew. I felt him coming into the building.
I turned and smiled at him, running the few feet to him. I jumped in his arms, careful not to damage my neck anymore. “We did it,” I whispered. I pulled back and looked him in the eyes. “We saved Mason.” I smiled as he let out a breath.
We both walked into the office, sitting down on the couch. We watched as Sheriff packed some stuff away in a box.
“You both saved their lives,” Sheriff said.
I wrapped my arms around Stiles’ right one, resting my chin on his shoulder, smiling.
“Mason. Malia. Half the population of Beacon Hills,” Sheriff continued. “That’s gotta feel pretty good.”
Stiles turned his head, lightly pressing his lips to my forehead. He sighed as he turned his head back to look at his dad. I rested the side of my head on his shoulder, feeling him rest his head on mine. “It did. For a while.”
“But it’s something you want to feel again,” Sheriff said.
“Yeah,” Stiles said. “Yeah, I think so.”
“Welcome to your future career in law enforcement,” Sheriff said, Dad joining in.
We lifted our heads up, me turning to look at my dad.
I turned my head back to look at Stiles, him doing the same as I said, “Deputy Stiles Stilinski. Got a nice ring to it.”
“So does Attorney Emma Thomas,” Stiles said.
I smiled at him, putting my hand on his cheek, leaning forward to press my lips on his.
~~~
Stiles and I left for school, not really wanting to be here. We just wanted to skip today, spend some time together at home.
Right before our class ended, I got a text from Scott, saying that Kira was with the Skinwalkers, and that she’d be back whenever she’d figure out how to not let the Fox take control.
“She’ll be back. She still has to graduate,” I said, lacing mine and Stiles’ fingers together as we walked down the hall.
“That’s the thing, baby, I don’t know,” he said. “When we started this school year, I was so stressed about everyone ending up in the same place after we graduate.”
“I know. I was there,” I sassed.
He sighed. “But I don’t think it matters. We always seem to find each other anyway. Even Allison.”
I stopped walking, tugging on his hand as he kept walking. He turned around, facing me.
“He didn’t tell you,” he said.
“I would know if he did, but he didn’t.”
“It was in the tunnels. When Sebastien had his hands around Scott’s throat. The guy probably didn’t even know what he was doing. His claws got into Scott’s neck. He was going to kill him, but then he stopped and he said a name… Marie-Jeanne.”
“He saw Scotty’s memories,” I said.
“He saw Allison,” Stiles whispered.
“They must’ve looked like each other. I mean, maybe exactly like each other.”
“It gave Scott a chance to break free. She saved him. Allison saved his life.”
I smiled and started walking with him towards the library, finding the table that Scott set his stuff down at.
Lydia sat down next to me as I sat across from Stiles, who was sitting next to his best friend.
I watched as Scott came down the steps, and patted Stiles on the shoulder as he sat down in front of Lydia.
I looked at my boyfriend and best friends, wondering where life would take us. We had a few more months of Senior year left, but that didn’t stop me from wondering. These next few months were going to be some of the best of our lives.
I could feel it.

Monday in the morning. The beginning of the long course of the week. For most of the young people it meant the beginning of a long week full of classes, homework and school responsibility. But it wasn't the same for Austin, his situation was different from most.
After leaving Beacon Hills for more than a year (to learn to control and use his new powers at all) he urgently needed to be back here in the town that saw him grow up surrounded by his pack, of course he knew that members of the pack The community of the town were supernatural beings, quite the opposite of them not knowing that he is an incubus and would prefer that he continue like this for a longer time.
Breaking out of his thoughts he saw in the distance the pair of boys he was looking for not far from where he was. They were walking up the stairs so he quickened his pace to reach them, apparently both boys were too focused on their own conversation that they didn't notice the boy behind them.
´´And we hugged the rest of the night´´ mentioned the pale boy as he nervously played with his hands.
´´That sounds good´´ answered the Latin boy, both boys would have continued with their conversation if it were not for the fact that their vision was interrupted by a pair of hands that were positioned over their eyes.
At that moment a third voice was introduced into the conversation ´´Hey guys it's been a while´´ the words were purred in the ears of both in a playful way causing them both to give a little cry and jump at the same time due to the recent unexpected stimulus.
They both turned towards the owner of the voice expecting to see a man's face, on the contrary their range of vision gave direct to the largest pair of pectorals they had ever seen inside a person's black shirt so they had to raise their gazes to meet the boy's face. At first glance it was the face of a young white-skinned man with dark eyes and hair of the same color. The two stood paralyzed looking questioningly at the subject for almost a minute analyzing almost everything, the eyes of the pair of friends crossed and their expressions showed confusion wondering who this guy was and why he had scared them like this out of the blue.
´´Mmm ok are you going to say something or are you just going to look at me as if I were a complete stranger´´ Austin looked at both of them expecting a positive response from him, instead his faces looked more confused than before. ´´Wait, do you really not recognize me? Come on guys I was only gone for a year, there's no way they forgot about my existence so quickly.
Both heads began to roll their screws at almost the same time as mentioned above. ´´Wait a minute, Scott don´t tell me that he is DON´T-TELL ME THAT YOU ARE!!´´ exclaimed the pale boy almost shouting as he turned his head to see between Scott and the almost two meter tall boy who they had in front of them. For his part, Scott proceeded to use his enhanced werewolf sense of smell to confirm his suspicions, at that very moment the characteristic scent of his old friend entered through his nostrils, clearing any doubt about the boy's identity. Present.
"A-Austin?" asked the young alpha coming out of his recent astonishment. Austin responded to the question with an effusive nod to the boys, earning a strong and charged hug from Scott and a more surprised look from Stiles, the boy's mouth seemed to get bigger with each passing second that seemed funny to Austin at the moment . ´´Old good heavens you look so different, the last time we saw you you were a little shorter than us but look at you now you are as tall or even a little more than Derek himself´´. Every word that came out of Scott's mouth sounded full of wonder and longing as he continued to hug his friend.
For his part, Stiles was still trying to process what was happening, he didn't understand how a short, skinny boy who didn't seem capable of carrying his own weight now looked like a giant reinforced wall made of pure muscle. He was snapped out of his amazement when he was pulled into a hug with the rest of his friends.
----------------------------------➸-----------------------------------------
Austin had chatted with his two friends for a moment as they walked to his classroom, during the walk he was bombarded by hundreds of questions from both of them, most if not all of them focused on the drastic change in his appearance to what he he could only answer that it was because he had undergone a demanding exercise program and also part of puberty, clearly he couldn't tell them that it was because his Incubus nature had come to light in that period of time resulting in that surprising change, they were informed of everything that had happened in their absence from the bad news of Allison's death to the fact that Derek Hale was currently the same age as them, that was surprising.
To Austin's discontent, he was not allowed to continue his conversation with the boys because they did not share the first class together that day and he had realized it just when they arrived at the classroom, so he had to leave leaving the boys in the class history having the one to go to math class.
Crossing the corridors he noticed that he was not the only one who was arriving to class, in the direction he was going one of the sexiest boys he had seen so far appeared at his sight, the closer he got he noticed that the boy seemed lost, maybe he could do his good deed for the day by helping him with the problem that he was sure was just for that and not because his incubus side was demanding that he feed on the boy's sexual energy.
´´Hello, excuse me, do you have a problem?´´. He said as he shook his hand in front of the boy he was holding and looked with a confused expression at what looked like his class schedule, at that moment he was looked at by the most beautiful pair of blue eyes he had ever seen as well as he could feel his hole He began to self-lubricate eager for sexual action, he pushed those thoughts away for the time being the boy looked too innocent to try to get that from him. "My names Austin and I'm sorry but I couldn't help but notice you look a little lost." If he was only going to help him as a good person, although it was getting more and more difficult having the blonde so close, it was easier to fall into temptation since his masculine scent was within his reach, which gave off both the parts of his body in sight and the ones that weren't visible, the defined shape of his biceps that showed that the boy took care of his physique, the broad shoulders covered by that simple shirt that could be torn off without much effort, his marked Adam's apple that if you looked further down you could see the start of his collarbone that looked delicious to look at, he couldn't forget about the jackpot either… even though the boy was a bit shorter than Scott compared to his height the difference was quite a bit even so he could notice the indisputable bulge on the Between the boy's legs, it was clear that his cock was not erect at that moment, but for the eyes of an incubus, clothes were not an impediment to seeing humans as they were with or without clothes, and the blond boy had a good look stay even if he was in a resting state.
The boy looked up from the timetable, startled and a little amazed at the stature of the man addressing him. ''H-hello I'm Liam, eh yes, it's a shame that it's so obvious''. Austin found Liam's nervousness adorable, because of this he started planning how to get rid of that confused smirk on his mouth by looking for a flirtatious one instead, but the big blue eyes could stay.
He got as close as he could to him placing his hands as close to his as he checked Liam's schedule, as soon as he located what he was looking for he got to work. ´´Don't worry Liam, when I was also new to these corridors it was confusing at first but you'll see how you get used to it in a short time, but I can help you for now, I'll tell you the easiest way to get to your class´´. He took advantage of the situation to place one of his hands on Liam's shoulder while he explained the way, at the same time his powers began to work the moment he touched the boy, his hands began to send waves that were undetectable to anyone but his kind as he continued to give directions, he could feel Liam's body heat increasing, especially between his legs. ´´´Woah Liam are you ok? Your face is a bit red. The fact of being next to the boy in this state that he is in made him feel full in more ways than one.
´´Ha and-I don't know, I feel a little strange´´. Liam felt that his body was boiling in a good way but he could feel it more in his cock that was starting to wake up, for some reason his most basic reproductive instinct was starting to activate causing his brain to look for the closest female to leave his offspring causing her eyes to focus on Austin. He knew that the other was a man not a woman as his brain associated and apart from that his common sense told him that he shouldn't feel so turned on by being so close to the other boy since Liam is Straight he had never felt love attraction for a guy. man and much less in a sexual way, but his reasoning was losing the battle against his sexual desire, he was beginning to imagine how Austin's big bulging chest would feel, how those pretty lips would feel and most importantly how tight that ass would be taller guy's fat if it was around his fat milky cock.
The next thing that happened was confusing for Liam from one moment to another step from receiving instructions from Austin to lifting the other's shirt and sticking his mouth to his nipple while with his other hand he played with the right nipple of that big tit that he could easily surpass in size if compared to any of the girls he had been with before.
´´Mmm wow cute puppy you´re just a hungry baby´´. Austin moaned in pleasure as he felt the shorter man's mammary actions on his breasts, he was filling himself with too much pleasure even though they were still in the foreplay but the fact that he was seducing a straight man made the satisfaction level rise to a notch higher level. It took all of her willpower to stop Liam temporarily, not that the idea of her ass being stuffed by this man in the hallway at school wasn't tempting but she didn't feel like having to explain herself right now. in case someone discovered them acting like a pair of animals in the act of reproduction. ´´Wait Liam´´ Liam's sad and confused look at being interrupted from this pleasure almost took away his sexual appetite because of how cute the boy looked… but only almost. "Let's continue this in a more private place daddy." Thanks to that last word Liam got a great boost sucking with all his strength the nipple he had in his mouth proceeding to pull it with his lips as hard as possible and then let it go causing the sound of plop and a groan from Austin.
----------------------------------➸-----------------------------------------
Liam was leaning against the wall inside the janitor's room while words like ´´fuck´´ ´´shit´´ ´´more´´ ´´please´´ came out of her mouth. For his part, Austin had his face glued to the large bulge that had formed in Liam's jeans, the Incubus was sniffing and licking the visible outline of the big fat cock of the male that he had at his desire, when he decided that enough of punishing Liam was enough. He reached out to unzip those damn pants that kept him from his prize but when his fingers reached the zipper he stopped and looked at Liam. ´´Tell me what you want Liam´´. Those words seemed enough for Liam to conflict on the one hand he felt his fat cock so swollen and in need of love it required all the attention in the world but a small part of him knew this wasn't normal he was still straight it wasn't right that he was acting like a schoolgirl giving her virginity to the popular boy in school let alone this boy who was almost twice his size who seemed so willing to help him release all the pressure from his hot heavy cock.
Seeing no other option she swallowed his pride. ´´I-I need you to please suck my heavy cock Austin I need it so much, more than anything in my whole life´´. Liam said feeling the weight leave his shoulders and he was able to breathe better but he felt a sudden attack of shame wanting to cover his face for the vomit of sincerity he just released but leaving it just as an idea since Austin had ordered him to lean on the wall and stay still, he felt that he should obey the orders that came out of the mouth of this boy he had met less than an hour ago, a boy who was about to take all his cock who was looking at him with that pair of eyes that they made him feel safe, that pair of eyes that for a millisecond he could swear had glowed a vivid pink replacing the black but the change was so brief that his mind instantly dismissed it as a hallucination of the heat of the moment he was going through .
Austin without further ado proceeded to remove Liam's pants along with his underwear as fast as he could, at that moment a fat cock from the force exerted emerged bouncing in front of Austin's surprised face, seeing it through the clothes was one thing but having it face to face with nothing to work as a barrier was another story, right now I could appreciate it in detail, noticing everything about it, the main thing was the shape and size from the trunk to the tip, it seemed that that cock had been made by hand starting with the base that is covered by a thick layer of pubic hair of a slightly darker blonde color than the hair on the head of its owner, the beginning of that cock was normal but it was getting thicker as it followed the route of the middle of the trunk to the big dark red head that was glistening from the pre-seminal fluid that was starting to seep out of its opening, that big fat uncut cock that was a different tan color. Leaving in an attractive way in view of the rest of its owner's complexion, in addition to having a large path of highlighted veins that demonstrated its power, apart from the fact that it was an indomitable 12-inch beast that had a pair of balls that were almost the size of Austin's hand… right now he thanked any higher being that he was an Incubus capable of withstanding this delicious challenge instead of a mortal who would no doubt have to sell his soul in order to handle half of this monster.
He was sure of one thing he was going to give Liam Dunbar the best sex of his young life.
"Oh, you are so big!" Austin said, watching with delight as he stroked Liam's cock in his hand and felt it shake all hot and sweaty and hard. For his part Liam was a mess of moans and occasional tremors due to stimulation. The boy was freaking out, he was in a situation that he never expected in his life, a man is jerking off his cock and he was getting the most sexual pleasure he had experienced to this day.
The Incubus took the head of his cock between his lips and began to suck. Austin had prepared a lot for this moment. Ultimately, all the training he had during that long year of his departure would be worthless if he couldn't show her a good time and give he pleasure like he had never felt before from her first straight man, and Austin wouldn't let that happen. . Now he had this sexy boy's cock in his mouth and it was time for him to show her that there was no woman in comparison who could take better care of her than he could.
Austin licked and sucked on the tip for a while before sliding his lips lower and beginning to suck, and once he started sucking on it he didn't back down he wanted him to see how eager he was to suck his cock, and in he opinion the best way to show he happiness at being on her knees in front of him was for he to fully commit. He didn't just shake his head at him; he threw himself to the ground and leaned back so hard that he risked aching his neck with the aggressiveness with which he shook his head. However, Austin knew it would be a temporary pain since one of the benefits of being a sex demon was quick recovery from any exertion.
His sloppy blowjob was leaving the poor boy wanting more. The relentless lowering of his head that saw him take it almost to the bottom of his throat each time made Austin's handsome face drip with his own saliva, and he didn't care one bit. He thrust past any gag reflex any human could possibly possess but that was no problem for him as far as he knew if he put his mind to it he could take up to five cocks in his mouth at once if that was the case. His pleasure was all that mattered, and he only had to look at him to realize that Liam was already his property. He still looked shocked, but now it was for a very different reason.
However, he still wouldn't be satisfied. He was going to exploit every advantage he had to satisfy Liam, and one area he was sure he beat Liam's exes and just about any woman around was the size of his boobs. He took his mouth off his cock for a moment so he could pull her shirt over his head in less than six seconds. Liam's eyes immediately fell on the large breasts he had previously tasted and squeezed with an irresistible need to hold back, and Austin smiled. He was used (since his sudden physical change) to men (and some women) ogling at his chest, but he almost felt as if he had been given such a large pair of breasts specifically to please to any straight man. Certainly Liam seemed to enjoy looking at them enough.
He continued to watch as he bounced his breasts playfully up and down as both boobs were making the boy drool, but he didn't give her much time to gawk at his bare breasts. His breasts weren't just for show, and he'd taken them out for a reason. If Liam had been impressed with his blowjob, he was going to be absolutely amazed at what came next.
He pushed his massive breasts together around his giant cock, trapping it between his tits before beginning to slide them up and down and give him a proper handjob. There was already plenty of lubrication provided by the messy blowjob he'd been giving her, so he had no trouble building a good rhythm that had him moaning quickly. He didn't say it, but he was thinking to himself that this was an act some previous girlfriend of Liam's couldn't perform for him. No one wouldn't be able to do it like that anyway. Very few women could compete with the size of Austin's breasts, be it from the best porn actress of the moment or just in general, and he was exploiting that fact.
Liam moaned deeply in appreciation of his titjob, and Austin had a feeling he wouldn't need to hold on much longer for him to come. The thought of him shooting he cum onto he breasts was incredibly arousing for him, and it was something he wanted very much.
Austin has to stop himself from laughing at the wide-eyed look of surprise on his face as he speeds up the handjob with his massive tits, giving him pleasures he thought weren't there before as he leans back and moans. So soft…so warm…and so wet, thanks to how much he drooled and spit all over his chest. And he continues to do so, his tongue sticking out and providing a steady stream of saliva to lubricate his tits as he begins to move them up and down.
He was doing a very good job, Liam's head fell back and moans came freely from his lips as Austin continued to use his huge breasts to masturbate him. Even though he wasn't looking at him at the moment, Austin made sure to keep his tongue off of him, not because of the saliva, his breasts were already quite wet. No, he was doing it because when he made his Liam come, he wanted to give her a nice target to blast with the load bubbling out of his balls. The fact that he wanted to taste it as much as he could was a given at this point.
An evil idea occurred to him at that moment. One almost as delicious as the presaminal liquid he had been lucky enough to taste before.
“Are you going to cum daddy? Are you going to cum on my slutty face and my tits? Paint your little white slut with your big fat load- AH!
Austin was interrupted when Liam suddenly came, the first stream of cum exploding from the tip of him and hitting him right in the eye. He closes it immediately, just in time for more to fall on the lid, sealing it with hot cum.
The first impulse was far from the last. Austin doing his best to make him come as hard and as hard as he could. Ignoring the burning in his arms as he continued to move her heavy breasts up and down. Ignoring his own desire to swallow the cum that lands in his mouth, in favor of keeping he mouth open and waiting, making sure to keep his face as attractive a target for his facial as he can.
Thread after thread very hot lands on his features. His mouth, cheeks, nose, eyes and even his hair were covered in cum, making it impossible for Austin to open his eyes, his face almost unrecognizable under the mask of cum. Thick drops fell from his face onto the tops of his tits, adding to the wetness that already coated them.
Liam limply begins to slide down the wall until he drops to the ground, gasping for breath as his mind tries to catch up with everything that had happened. One second he's looking for the right way to his classroom, the next a strange man is sucking he dick like his life depended on it.
And now his face was unrecognizable beneath the mess he had…burst upon him.
He could feel his softening cock contracting as he looked at his cum-covered features, his swollen, freshly-fucked lips. All topped off by the enthusiastic smile all over he face, making no move to wipe it off, as he remains on he knees, giving him a good look at the mess he had made of him. And making sure he saw how much Austin loved what he had done to him.
Liam was silent, stunned silent, while Austin rose all the semen he had on him began to go as if it had a life of its own towards the interior of the boy's mouth, when there was no more trace of semen in Austin he began to get his shirt. This barely seemed to be able to contain the boy's breasts that seemed to have increased a little more in size highlighting the nipples through the shirt.
“We'll see each other again soon darling, when I'm hungry again. At any moment…” Using his fingers to cup Liam's chin bringing his lips to the boy's still on the ground, it started as a slow kiss to turn into a heated battle of tongues each seeking to dominate the other by doing in the process of Liam tasting the remains of his cum from Austin's mouth. After a few minutes the incubus separated from Liam leaving the boy wanting more. ´´Don't be greedy puppy we will have more fun later, now you better go to class and put on your pants I don't want anyone else to see what belongs to me´´. The incubus placed a quick kiss on the tip of Liam's tired cock causing a groan from him, before greeting him with his fingers and a mischievous smile on his lips.
He walks back out of the janitor's closet, a bit of his own natural lube running down his thighs and sweat on his face, the happiest person in school.
After watching Austin leave, there was only one thing Liam knew. He was definitely going to need to have sex with Austin again.
Jeez… "Ah…fuck…yeah…just like that…that was just…wow…"

Hunted
Pairing: Liam Dunbar x reader
Warnings: Mentions of blood
Chapter: 5.07
You watch as Theo flips the jeep back over. Sighing, you look down at your phone that has somehow survived with only a few scratches again.
𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝙻𝚒𝚊𝚖:
𝙿𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚋𝚎 𝚖𝚊𝚍 𝚊𝚝 𝚖𝚎. 𝙸 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚡

𝚃𝚘 𝙻𝚒𝚊𝚖:
𝙿𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚕𝚎𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞’𝚛𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚏𝚎 𝚡
A knot twisted in your gut, something was wrong. Liam would never let you worry about him; he’d always reply.
“You guys should go to the hospital,” Theo says, turning to face you. “You took in a lot of smoke, and that’s a lot of blood coming from your arm.”
You flinch from the pain as you fold your arms over, “I’m fine. We should get cleaned up and look for the others. Find out what’s going on.”
When you get to your feet, Theo reaches out and puts a comforting hand on your shoulder. “We’ll find them okay, I promise.”
You nod in agreement, “I know we will.”
Things go from bad to worse as you learn Liam and Hayden were both taken by the dread doctors and Kira was wanted for a murder she wasn’t sure she actually committed or not.
“Is Kira okay?” You ask Scott when he enters his living room.
He ignores your question and storms upstairs to his bedroom. You, Theo, Stiles, and Malia chase after him and find Scott with his claws buried deep in Corey’s neck.
“What is he doing?”
“Tapping into Corey’s memories,” the redhead explains. “It’s usually something only alphas do.”
Both Scott and Corey’s faces twist with pain. You vaguely remember reading about this once and how dangerous it was for everyone involved. Scott’s eyes change from red to brown as he falls back.
Corey’s eyes are filled with fear as he looks over at the alpha, “What the hell did you do to me?”
“You’ll be fine.”
You watch as the boy rubs at the back of his neck, then looks at his hands and says, “There’s blood!”
“You’ll heal,” Scott snaps.
“Scott…” Stiles starts but is cut off.
“He’ll be fine!” Scott starts to draw what he saw on a notepad. “I think it worked. I saw something. There were tunnels and pipes along the walls. There were these two huge blue pipes at the entrance. Two on both sides.”
“Wait a second,” Stiles says, looking at the drawing. “I’ve seen this before. I used to skateboard in one of these tunnels.”
“It’s the water treatment plant,” Lydia chimes in.
“That’s where we will find Liam and Hayden.”
You held back a groan of frustration as the group debated who was to stay and who was to go find Liam and Hayden.
“There’s no way you're coming with that,” Malia says, pointing to your blood-soaked sleeve.
You’d tried your best to hide your injury, but it was impossible in a house full of supernaturals with a heightened sense of smell.
“She's right, Lulana,” Scott says, apologizing, sensing how frustrated you are. “You should go get that checked out at the hospital.”
“We can bring Theo,” werecoyote suggests.
Theo hesitates, “Maybe I should stay here. You know, in case the doctor decides to make a house call for Corey.”
You watch from the corner of your eyes the look on Theo’s face as Lydia points out how badly he could have hurt Corey. Although he looked guilty, Scott left to find his beta without apologising. The bond between the two of them was unimaginably strong, and you couldn’t judge Scott for acting the way that he did. Especially not with your own plan in mind.
“Theo, can you give me a ride to the hospital?” You raise your brows. Immediately, he catches onto your line of thinking and agrees.
Stiles looks confused and says, “I can drop you off. I’m going to the hospital anyway.”
“No offence Stiles but I’m not stepping foot back into your jeep with the memory of it being flipped is still fresh in my mind, I’ll catch you later.”
Theo leads you to his car and, once inside, questions you, “What was that about?”
“Cut the bullshit,” you say bluntly, earning an amused smile in return. “I know you recognised the place Scott described. Let’s go.”
“Are you really going to go against Scott’s orders?”
“Liam is my boyfriend. I’m not going to sit around and do nothing while he possibly gets killed. Besides, helping me helps you.”
Theo looks genuinely intrigued by what you have to say. “How so?”
“What’s a better way to get in with the alpha than saving his beta?” Theo had a smugness about him, like he was a naughty child hiding a secret. Usually it would make you question his motives, but right now you didn’t care. “You know something the rest of us don’t, and right now I don’t care how or why. I just want to find Liam and Hayden.”
“Will you ask the others to stop being so suspicious of me?”
“I swear to God, just drive, please!”
“Since you said please. On the way back, I'm totally dropping you off at the hospital to get stitches, by the way,” he says as he pulls away from the McCall house with a smirk on his face.
“Stay behind me.” You do as Theo says and follow him through a maze of tunnels until he stretches his arm out in front of you to stop you from going any further. “I think I heard them.”
You brush past him, “Liam? Liam?!”
“Lulana?!”
“Where in here!”
Hearing Liam and Hayden’s voices, Theo runs by you and towards them. You rush into the room behind him just as he grabs hold of an electric fence. The bolts send him flying back and he lands on the ground with a thud. You kneel down beside him, “Theo? Theo? Are you okay?”
He lets out a grunt and sits up, “Yeah, I’m fine.”
The scene in front of you physically hurts your heart because Hayden and Liam appear terrified, and there was nothing you could do to help them.Not with the electric fence blocking your way.
Liam sniffs the air before looking at you panicked, “Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine.”
He doesn’t believe your lie but ignores it for the time being, “Can you get help? Where’s the rest of the pack?”
“We kind of went rogue,” you admit.
Theo gets to his feet, “I am the help.”
You watch as he steps forward and grips the fence again, but this time he withstands the pain of being electrocuted and pries it apart so Liam and Hayden can escape.
Liam heads straight for you, and as he gets closer, you can see that he’s studying you. His eyes widen when he spots the blood dripping from your sleeve. When he reaches you, he wraps his arms around your waist and presses a kiss to your lips. When he pulls back, you can make out the pain behind his eyes, even in the darkness. “I’m so sorry Lu, I thought I was doing the right thing.”
“You're okay,” you sigh, pressing your forehead against his. “That's all that matters.”
Hearing a groan of pain, you step back and see Hayden is gripping her side that is covered in a black liquid. Liam leans into you and whispers, “The dread doctors did it. I tried to take her pain away but it didn’t work.”
He links his fingers with yours as you follow Theo and Hayden out of the tunnels.
You sit in the backseat of Theo’s car with your head leaning against Liam's shoulders. “What happened to your arm? You're not fine.”
“I cut it on something in Stiles' jeep.”
You ignore the glance Theo is giving you. Liam didn’t need to know the whole truth just yet, not when he felt like beating himself up already. “This is all my fault. I should never have left you-”
“Don’t,” you cut him off. “If I had gone with you to the school, I probably would have been taken with you, which would have been a lot worse.”
You lean in to give Liam a reassuring kiss, but something is different. When he kisses you back, the pain inside your body starts to disappear. “I can't feel it anymore,” you say as you pull back and roll up your sleeve to see if the cut is still there.
A look of disbelief washes over his features. “I took your pain away.”
You smile and kiss him again.
You step out of Scott’s kitchen with a freshly bandaged arm, courtesy of Lydia and the first aid kit she found. You place your hand on Theo’s back and say, “Thank you. Not just for coming with me to the tunnels but for getting them out as well.”
He returns your smile, “no problem.”
You return to the couch and sit beside Liam, who is starting to fall asleep. He wraps his arm around you as your head leans against his chest. You lie like that until you fall asleep with Liam running his fingers through your hair.

In Which Ondine Breaks a Promise
“Don't worry. No one’s gonna run your girlfriend off.”
“She's not my–she’s not my girlfriend.”
Word Count: 2121
Pairing: Liam Dunbar x Female OC
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last thing Liam expected that morning was to be pulled into a musty broom closet by Ondine Beck. But when his eyes adjusted to darkness he found himself nose-to-nose with her. Her hands rested on his forearms, holding onto him like she was scared he’d run away.
“Hey,” he said a little breathlessly. She didn’t reply, her eyes searching his face. For a stupid moment, Liam was scared she was going to kiss him, then she reached behind him and flipped the light switch.
They both winced at the sudden light, but Ondine recovered quickly and got to her point. She was still holding him close. “Liam, I need to tell you something weird. Crazy even. But I don’t think you’ll think it's crazy because I think that you’ll understand and maybe your friends will understand and then maybe they can help me but my mom told me not to talk to you—but I don’t want to not talk to you.”
All Liam could do was blink. “I think that’s the longest sentence you've ever said. Like, ever.”
Ondine squeezed his arms as a frustrated look crossed her face. “Shut up… just don’t freak out.”
He nodded immediately, before he looked around and realized once again that they were standing in a broom closet. Liam tilted his head a bit with a thoughtful frown. “You said your mom doesn’t want you to talk to me? Why? I didn’t do anything, did I?”
“No, you didn’t,” she said, seeming to choose her words carefully. “But I think another werewolf did, and now she doesn’t trust any of them.”
Liam backed away from her as much as he could, which wasn’t much in the cramped closet. His reaction made Ondine wince, and she let her arms fall to her sides. “I meant to say that a little more carefully.”
“I–I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You’re a terrible liar,” Ondine said matter-of-factly. “Listen, I want to talk to Scott. I wanna know if… if werewolves are really as evil as my mother says.”
“We’re not,” Liam answered, meeting the girl’s gaze quickly. The way her eyes were pleading with him to not run away made him calm down a bit. “So what are you guys? The others and I figured your family isn’t human, but we can’t figure out what you are.”
She avoided his eyes, turning a bucket over and sitting on it. Biting her nails, she stood up again and kicked the bucket aside. Not even a second later she pulled it back over and sat back down. Her restlessness was putting Liam on edge, and as she prepared to stand once again he gripped her shoulders and shook her slightly.
“Ondine, you're freaking me out.”
“You said you wouldn't freak out!”
“I lied!”
With a huff of annoyance she decided to just spit it out. “We’re sirens.”
It came out as a whisper. She was shaking slightly, like admitting it had sent a shock through her.
Liam listened to her heart beat like Scott had taught him to; she wasn’t lying. And then he was hit with another wave of confusion. “Siren? Like a mermaid?”
“No, idiot. Like the bird women from Greek mythology.” She grabbed his hands from her shoulders, holding them in front of her. “I literally just learned all of this last night, and I don't understand any of it. But I do understand that there's a Dead Pool with my name on it. I’d like to see it.”
“Yeah, okay. Done. But—how did you not know you’re a siren until yesterday?” That question had been bothering him for a while. Why would her family not tell her she’s not human?
Ondine raked a hand through her hair and stared at the floor. “There’s a tradition that we’re not supposed to find out what we are until we turn sixteen. That’s when we come of age and go through this weird metamorphosis thing.”
“When do you turn sixteen?”
“Next week.”
“So… what? On your birthday you’ll turn into a bird lady?”
“Pretty much.” Ondine tried to laugh it off, but her forced smile fell almost immediately. “It's gonna be pretty hard for me to meet up with you guys without my mom finding out. I’ll give you my number so you can text me a time and place. I’ll find a way to get there.”
After she put her number into his phone, Ondine took a deep breath and shook out her shoulders. Right as she prepared to leave the closet first, her hand hovered over the handle and she whipped back around to face Liam. She looked conflicted, before she blurted out, “I don’t think you're a heartless monster, by the way.”
Liam wasn't sure how to reply to that. He settled for nodding a bit awkwardly and a quick, “Thanks.”
With a tiny grin, Ondine slipped out of the closet. Liam waited a minute before he too left, running into Scott almost immediately. His alpha had been standing around the corner, listening in on the entire conversation. Scott looked just as perplexed as Liam did.
“Lydia was right. It did handle itself.”
Liam barely heard him, his mind on overdrive as he attempted to process everything he’d just learned. So far, the girl he was kinda-sorta friends with knew he was a werewolf. She didn’t seem to care and wasn’t afraid of him, so that was good. That same girl was a siren, which he didn't know much about but was planning on doing intense research on the subject later on. Lastly, her mom hated werewolves and forbade Ondine from going near them. Though it seemed that Ondine didn't care too much about what her mother said.
But hey, on the bright side, he got her number. That was a step in the right direction.
****
It was that same day that Liam texted Ondine the address to Derek’s loft, telling her to be there at midnight.
The nervous boy was standing with Scott, Derek, Stiles, and Lydia. He checked his phone for what seemed to be the thousandth time: 11:55 pm.
Derek rolled his eyes at the younger wolf’s anxiety. “Would you relax? She’s almost here.”
“How do you know? She never texted anything back,” Liam reasoned, slipping his phone into his jacket pocket.
“I know because I can hear her outside in the parking lot,” Derek said, only making Liam stress even more.
He tugged at his hair and gave each of them a serious look. “Okay, she just learned about the supernatural world yesterday, and she seemed really freaked out earlier, so don't scare her.”
“Don't worry,” Stiles said with a teasing glint in his eyes. “No one’s gonna run your girlfriend off.”
“She's not my–she’s not my girlfriend,” Liam snapped a little too quickly, glaring at his friends' smirking faces. “We’re not even friends. Not really. She doesn’t want to be friends.” He tried not to sound bitter, but what Ondine had said to Kira and Malia had not been forgotten.
Before anyone could tease him any more—thank goodness, Liam’s face was already bright red—Ondine Beck strode in with sleepy eyes and a green bike helmet tucked under her arm.
“Just so you know, I’m sacrificing my sleep schedule for this,” Ondine said, her eyes sweeping the room and landing on Liam. She grinned at him, and the sight made him warm inside. “You have the Dead Pool?”
Stiles spoke before Liam could reply. “What? No ‘hey, how are you?’”
The girl gave him a sour stare, moving to place her helmet on the metal table at the center of the room. “Hey, Stiles. How are you?”
“I’m–”
“Oh, wait. I just realized that I don’t care.” She sent Stiles a fake smile and walked over to Liam, standing beside him with crossed arms. “Can we get to it? It’s only a matter of time before my parents find out I'm gone and contact the national guard.”
Lydia reached into her pocket and pulled out the folded sheet of paper. It was the second half of the Dead Pool; the one with her family’s names on it. Ondine’s eyes flickered back and forth as she read the names one by one, her lip slipping between her teeth.
Liam gently bumped her shoulder with his own. “Hey, you okay?”
It took a moment for her to reply, and it wasn’t what any of them expected. She scoffed suddenly, looking at Liam with a bewildered scowl. “Olivia is worth five million? But I’m only worth three! What’s she got that I don’t?”
“Okay, I think we need to have a long talk about priorities,” Stiles said when her outcry was met with silence.
Ondine shrugged and gave Lydia back the paper. “Don’t bother. Besides, my mom’s worth eight million, which means those assassins must have thought they’d hit the jackpot by attacking us.”
“Assassins?” Scott questioned at once, concern crossing his face. “You were attacked.”
“Last night,” Ondine said with an air of nonchalance. “I technically wasn't supposed to find out I come from a long line of half sirens until I turn sixteen next week, but being nearly killed sped up the process.”
Lydia gave the Beck girl a thoughtful look. “So what happens on your birthday?”
All Ondine could do was shrug once again as she fiddled with her hoodie strings. “I’m not sure. My mom hasn’t told me that much, but the gist of it is I’ll grow wings and talons, my eyes will turn purple, and I’ll…” with a gulp, she forced herself to continue. “I’ll have the urge to kill anything that moves.”
As to be expected, this received some upset responses from the others. Stiles ran hand over his face, looking a tad bit exhausted. “Great. Perfect. Now we can add you to the long list of people trying to kill us.”
“Shut up, Stiles,” Liam growled, his eyes flashing yellow for a split second.
Ondine took a step back, shoving her hands in her pockets as a defense mechanism. “My mom won’t let me hurt anyone. We have a cabin upstate, far away from any humans. That’s where I’ll go on my birthday. Mom said she’d explain it better soon, but… I don’t think she trusts me very much.”
“Don’t say that,” Liam said. “I’m sure it’s not that.”
“Maybe.” Ondine was getting tired of shrugging, but she did it a third time anyway. “Er, I should get going. Thanks for meeting with me so late, it means a lot.”
Derek stopped her before she could leave. “I know your mother doesn’t like our kind, it’s become common knowledge for werewolves to stay clear of your property, so why would you blatantly defy her by talking to us?”
The question threw Ondine off, and she struggled to gather her wits off the floor. Derek could have sworn her eyes flickered to Liam before she stuttered out a reply. “My mother is validly paranoid. She shut everyone else out of our lives in an attempt to keep us safe… but I want to be better than her. I don’t want to shut everyone out. Besides, I’ve got no reason to hate werewolves. You guys seem pretty chill to me.”
That seemed to satisfy Derek, and when Liam and Ondine left (the boy had offered to walk her back downstairs), the remaining pack just gave each other amused looks as they left.
“So Liam’s whipped?” Lydia surmised, her eyes still on the door where the two younger kids had disappeared through.
“Pretty much,” Scott replied with a smirk. In a weird way, the obvious crush his beta had on the siren reminded him of himself and Allison: a newly bitten teenage werewolf falls for a girl whose family hates his kind. History really does like to repeat itself.
That thought made his smile fall. Hopefully, it won't repeat itself too much. Scott couldn’t let another him and Allison end so tragically.
****
Climbing back into her room through the window, Ondine didn’t bother with changing into pajamas and flopped onto her bed face first.
She was half asleep when her phone buzzed from where it still resided in her pocket. Groaning, she pulled it out and squinted at the bright screen. Her foul expression fell once she saw the text was from Liam.
Liam: did you make it home ok?
Ondine: yep :)
Liam: ok, sleep well
The short conversation left a smile on the girl’s face. Ondine set her phone on her nightstand, turning over in bed to attempt to get some much needed rest.
In the morning, Ondine did some Oscar worthy acting when her mother searched every nook and cranny of the house, swearing she was catching the scent of wolves.

For cross country, Julia was first to be outside before the guys join her. "You know me being a virgin is literally a threat to my life." Stiles walks up to her.
"Excuse me?" She said not caught up.
"Oh, right. The three killings that have happened all have happened to virgins. God, your lucky you aren't at risk."
"Huh? Why do you say that?" She laughs at him.
"You and Isaac. Scott told me about you guys." He tells her.
"We never did any of that... We had a few heated make outs over the summer and that's all. I'm still a virgin just like you buddy." She laughs patting his back.
"Okay, well, we need to find people to have sex with so we don't die." He makes her laugh more.
"Three's, Stiles. Deer, Prada, and Birds. Heather, pool boy, and girl in the woods. I'm sure we're onto a different set of three's now."
"We can't be so sure." He huffs.
"Okay, so come over to my house after school and let's get it over with." She jokes with him since it would weird him out.
"Excuse me?" He looks at her with wide eyes. "Not, funny. I just had Danny joke with me."
"I'm serious. No strings attached. One night and done." She still plays along making it seem like she was serious, "Bonus since you aren't unattractive and I'm a Martin. I may be known as the odd one but I'm still considered attractive." She laughs.
"Why is your heart racing so much? We haven't even started running yet." Scott joins them chuckling at Stiles.
"Shut up." Stiles ignores the two.
While running Scott runs off so Stiles and Julia run together till they all come across the boy that went missing last night, dead body.
"See the way the twins looked at him." Isaac says as the four walk away.
"Yeah, like they have no idea what happened." Stiles says making Isaac say they knew. "The kid was strangled with a garrote, all right. Am I the only one realizing the lack of werewolfitude in these murders?" Stiles looks at us.
"You think it's a coincidence that they show up and people start dying?" Isaac says pointing back at them.
"Well, no, but I still don't think it's them." Stiles says.
"I actually agree with Stiles about them not killing them, but I also agree with Isaac on about they knew what's happening." Julia looks at the two.
"I don't know yet." Scott says as the boys ask him for his opinion.
"You don't know yet?" Stiles asks him.
"Well, he's got a point. Seriously, dude. Human sacrifices?"
"Scott, your eyes turn into yellow glow sticks, okay? Hair literally grows from your cheeks, and will immediately disappear. And if I were to stab you, it would magically heal. But you're telling me you're having trouble grasping human sacrifices?" Stiles makes to paint at him 100% agreeing with him.
"Also that you had to put a torches to your skin to have your two rings tattoo..." Julia adds.
"Sorry I can't can't have a tattoo like you where it heals normally." Scott rolls his eyes.
"How do you know she has a tattoo?" Isaac gets sidetracked.
"Huh?" Scott looks at him.
"Her butterfly tattoo." Isaac crosses his arms.
"Well, it's a Moth. Not a butterfly." Scott corrects him, "And umm, I went with her." Scott lies.
"Whatever her tattoo is... I don't care about Stiles point.. They killed that kid. They killed the girl that saved me. And I'm gonna kill them too." Isaac says walking off.
"Okay, changing the topic. Why did you tell Stiles I was with Isaac? Because I never said I was." Julia eyes Scott with her arms crossed.
"I told you not to say anything." Scott looks at Stiles.
"She said the most they did was heated make out sessions over the summer." Stiles puts his hands up making Scott cross his arms now.
"Exactly when did it start and end?" He asks thinking about the timeline.
"Why do you care?" She tilts her head and Stiles watches them confused and lost.
"I just wanna know."
"Oh, so you know where it placed?" She catches on so she laughs.
"Exactly!"
"What?" Stiles looks between the two. "Also, you have a tattoo? And you went with her?" Stiles says never having seen it.
"I'm not telling you now." She smiles at Scott walks off to the girl locker room.
"Please, fill me in." Stiles begs Scott but he ignores him.
In the next class it was just Stiles and Julia so he kept trying to ask her questions about what her and Scott were talking about and her tattoo.
"Yes, Stiles I have a tattoo but you can't see it. It's hidden because my mother would lose her mind. And Scott and I were just being annoying to each other. We did that over the summer when you weren't with us."
"You two hung out without me?!" He whispers shouts.
"Get over it." She laughs at him.
For lunch break, Stiles wouldn't give up on the fact they hung out without him. "Why did Scott go with you for you tattoo? Why didn't you invite me?"
"Because of your fear with needles. And we were already hanging out and I said I wanted one so we went." She lies to him.
"You're lying." He stops her.
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you are. When you lie you bite the inside of your cheek. I can see it go in some." He tells her.
"Creep, watching me that close."
"Why are you lying to me?" He crosses his arms.
"Fine! Since you must know! We were hanging out one night talking about random stuff and he kissed me. I kinda just gave in and we made out so he saw my tattoo." She just lets him know the secret.
"Scott kissed you first? And you kissed him back?"
"Yes, but it's was nothing just like me and Isaac. It was just fun with no meaning behind it." She explains to him.
"You've kissed Isaac and Scott." Stiles says feeling something he didn't like.
She grabs his face pulling him down till their lips met for a few seconds before she pulled back, "Correct. And now I kissed you, Scott and Isaac." She laughs walking off.
"Umm..." Stiles watches her walk off before puckering his lips trying to look at them.
"What are you doing?" Lydia walks by looking at him confused.
"Umm, nothing." He stops.
"Are you sure? You don't look like it." She laughs at him.
"I'm fine." He shakes his head going off to spy on his dad with Kyle's girlfriend.
As Stiles gets slapped by her while Julia was walking down the hall and sees it happened holding back her chuckle. Then waits on the side as his dad raises his voice at him about the murders.
When Noah walks away, Julia goes over to Stiles, "We need to find the new pattern. The more people get murdered... it's gonna be harder on your dad." She tells him so he turns to face her.
"The other question is how many sets of three's will there be?" He shakes his head.
"Sadly I'm not a psychic so I can't answer that." She looks at him.
"I feel like if you were you would be a lot more helpful than what you are."
"I would rather be psychic too but I'm not that lucky. Come on, let's go see if we can get anything from Kyle's locker memorial." She links her arm with him as they head down the hall.
"Okay, what's on here that gives us any clue?" Stiles looks at Kyle's locker with her as Boyd comes up to add something. "Whoa. Hey, Boyd! I didn't know you were back at school."
"Yeah, I would have told you, but we're not actually friends." He tells Stiles.
"Little rude but how well did you know Kyle? I see you guys were in Junior ROTC together." Julia asks him looking at what he added.
"Oh, so you guys were friends?" Stiles asks.
"I only had one friend. She's dead too." Boyd walks off from them.
"Well, he wasn't very helpful. But we know he was in ROTC if that's anything." Julia looks back at the locker.
"So we have to wait till someone else of found dead to see if they have anything in common?" Stiles asks her crossing his arms.
"I don't wanna say yes but probably." She makes a face, "Now, I gotta find my sister." Julia leaves his side so he just follows her. "Why are you following me?" She loos back at him.
"Scott is busy with the twins so..." He keeps following her as she finds Lydia.
"Lydia, so I'm gonna remind you again. Next time you have a hookup coming over try for me, shush." Julia gives her a smile.
"I'm sorry but he knew some things. Now, why are you following Julia like a lost puppy dog?" Lydia keeps walking by her sister's side with Stiles still behind them.
"Because Scott's dealing with the Alpha twins." Stiles says causing Lydia to stop, "You don't know about the twins?"
"Alphas?"
"Ethan and Aiden." Julia gives her a smile knowing about her liking Aiden.
"Oh, yeah. Yeah, I knew about them." Lydia lies.
"Okay, good. So look, here's what we've been thinking. That the murders maybe come in threes. Ancient people love things in threes, right? So maybe first, it's three virgins, and then, I don't know. Maybe it's three people who own little dogs."
"We own a little dog." They all stop walking.
"Technically Prada is yours. I wasn't and still not allowed a pet." Julia points out.
"Technically Prada is yours as well because you help take care of them and they seem to let you love on them more." Lydia points out as well, "And we're not getting rid of our dog." Lydia adds to Stiles.
"Would you two just think about getting rid of your little dog?"
"No. And by the way. You cannot discern a pattern by a single data point. So stop trying." Lydia tells him.
"So what? I'm just supposed to wait around for someone else to die, then? I'm just supposed to sit there and watch them die? Just wait for them to wither up and die right in front of me?" Stiles asks so Lydia tells him it's not his job.
"For starters, you're a human as well. Completely normal. But these are sacrifices and it seems like an Alpha pack has a bit of knowledge about it. So it's not for someone normal to figure out." Julia looks at Stiles.
"You have a free period at the end of the day right?" Stiles asks her.
"Yeah, why?"
"We're gonna go talk to someone that's human and knows a lot about the supernatural." He walks off so she follows him now.
They end up going to Deaton in hope he could help them in anyway about the sacrifices. Turns out he already knew but wasn't try to forget about the Druids. Julia gets a phone call from Lydia telling Stiles they had to go back to school because a teacher was taken.
Deaton goes with the two and listen to the recording on the phone and try to find anything to connect this threes. They find out what the next set was and it being warriors. Lydia points out Mr. Harris could also fall under the category of a military connection. They end up in his class room to find him gone but his papers he graded spell out Darach.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.

Chapter 35: Death of a Tomahawk
Sam didn't know what to make of it. She knew her friends were crazy, almost borderline senile, even. But this???
She frowned as she looked in Scott's tub to see a tape bound Liam who looked both angry and scared.
"What…In the dark hell am I looking at.", she says, looking at Liam. "We didn't know what to do.", Scott said.
"So you tie him up and throw him in here?", she looked at her best friends in disbelief before walking up to Liam.
He scooted away as much as he could in fear and she shook my head, reassuring him. "Don't worry, I'm not like these two nut jobs. I'm gonna get you outta here and we'll explain what the hell happened and why.", she reassures, pointedly at Scott who looked down at his feet.
Scott and Stiles grabbed Liam and sat him in a chair at the end of Scott's bed in a chair. This was a bad idea. Liam was either gonna have to accept that he's now a werewolf or he was gonna freak out and run. Most likely, he'll be going for the ladder.
"Liam, we're going to take the tape off your mouth. If you scream it goes right back on, if you talk quietly it stays off, got it?", Stiles asked him, Liam looked at Sam and nodded. Stiles ripped the tape off and Liam exclaimed painfully and growled.
"You couldn't have been gentler than that?", Sam asked Stiles. "Okay Liam, now you've seen a lot of confusing things tonight and more confusing things are going to happen because of the confusing things that happened tonight, do you understand?", Stiles asked him, making them look at him in confusion.
"Not really.", Liam replied, glaring at him.
"Good, that's good.", Stiles said and Sam shook her head. "I don't understand either.", Scott said.
She frowned, pointing at Scott. "You better tell him what the hell you just did and why.", she scolded and moved towards the door.
"W-Wait, where are you going?", Scott asked, nervously. Sam turned to him. "I'm getting fresh air. This is a little much.", Sam says before leaving, much to Liam's dismay.
Sam walked downstairs to contemplate.
They didn't know a thing about Liam. What if he's another Isaac? Or a mini Derek. What if he's just naturally a hot head? She couldn't see him being anything like Jackson. This was so confusing. Way more confusing than dealing with a freshly bitten Scott.
This was stupid. How could Scott do this?
She sighed and walked back upstairs to Scott's room.
"Shouldn't have said that.", Stiles said as Liam looked at them in shock. "What?", Liam responded quietly and started sniffling. Sam stormed up to them. "What did you two do?", she fussed and went to console Liam.
"Liam, it's okay, you're going to be alright, you're not going to die.", Scott said, trying to console Liam.
"Probably not.", Stiles said. "Stop it.", Scott hissed.
"Okay possibly not.", Stiles corrected. Sam looked at him in disbelief. "Stiles!"
"Would you just help me untie him?", Scott asked him. They got Liam up and untied him. "Liam, are you okay?", Scott asked him as he stood.
"We're sorry about that, we're really sorry.", Stiles apologized. Liam picked up the chair and hit Scott with it, knocking him down. Sam's eyes widened as Liam punched Stiles and ran out.
They chased him down the stairs but he was already out of the house. She sighed as she watched Scott and Stiles wrestle each other on the floor.
"I got him!", Stiles exclaimed, holding onto Scott's leg. "I got him, I got him!"
"You guys are idiots.", Sam said, making Stiles stop and see it was Scott's leg. Scott glared at him and pushed Stiles' foot off his head then looked at the door.
"Your plan sucked too." Scott said then turned to glare at Sam. "Why didn't you stop him?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't bite him and tie him up, scaring him shitless.", she replied, leaving the house and going home.
The next morning was awkward as Sam sat next to Kira and Lydia in class as they looked over notes.
"These are your math notes?", Kira asked Lydia as she looked at her computer. Some code was downloading on her computer. "No wonder Malia's failing. She can't understand that.", Sam says, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Um, some of them are my notes, the rest I think might actually be a code…", Lydia said.
"So you don't remember writing it?", Sam asked her.
"Not in the slightest but considering my drawing of a tree that led us to the Nemeton, I should probably figure out what it means before it tries to kill us.", she says, making me look at her in disbelief. "Uh, please do that.", Sam says, uncomfortable.
"Maybe it's like the Enigma Code the Allies used.", Kira chimed in as we looked at her in confusion. "Remember, my dad was a World War II buff and my mom was, well, in it."
"I think this is a variation on something called the Vigenere Cipher."
"Do you know how to crack it?", Sam asked Lydia.
"With a key.", she replied just as her mom walked up and held out a set of keys.
"Remember the rules, no more than six people allowed in the lake house, stay out of the wine and if anything gets broken, it's getting added to your credit card debt."
"Fine." Lydia agreed, going to grab the keys but her mom quickly pulled them away.
"And lock up the basement, from all the scratch marks I found on the walls it looked like a pack of wild animals got down there."
Sam hid a smile as Lydia was handed the keys.
The girls shared a look as Lydia's mom walked away. Sam snorted at them before getting up and walking to her locker. On the way, she could hear Scott and Stiles once again talking to Liam so she walked over to them.
"The bite…the bite is a gift.", Scott tried using Derek's words, making her chuckle softly.
"Scott, stop, please stop.", Stiles fussed, walking over to Scott and pointed at Liam. "You, you– we're trying to help you, you little runt."
"By kidnapping?", Liam replied. "Which again was a bad idea from the start.", Sam says, leaning on the lockers and making them acknowledge her.
"Liam, we've gone through this before.", Scott said, nodding at her before turning back at the boy. "Something's happening to you, something big."
"Nothing's happening to me!", Liam exclaimed, then held up his arm and ripped his bandage off to reveal his unbitten skin. "Nothing!"
He walked away from the trio, leaving Scott, Stiles and Sam to share a knowing look. The bite already kicked in.
They quickly called a small pack meeting in-between a couple of buses and met up with Lydia, Malia and Kira.
"I'm not sharing my basement.", Malia refused.
"Actually it's my basement.", Lydia corrected. "And my mom noticed how you tore it up last time."
"Alright, she's still learning.", Stiles defended.
"But we're going to use the boat house for Liam, it's got support beams we can chain him to one of them.", Scott said.
"But how are we going to get him to the lake house if he doesn't trust us?", Kira asked.
"I'd say if it keeps him from murdering someone, we just chloroform the little bastard and throw him in the lake.", Stiles replied as Malia agreed and Sam looked at both of them in disbelief. "We are not killing him!", she exclaimed before turning to Scott. "Or kidnapping him again."
"Then let's be smarter, we tell him there's a party and invite him.", Lydia suggested.
"So you're going to ask out a freshman?", Stiles asked her.
"Oh, no, I'm done with teenage boys.", Lydia replied. Stiles turned to Sam. "Don't even look over here. It's not happening.", Sam says, shaking her head.
They smiled at Kira as she looked around, noticing their eyes on her.
"Who, me?", she asked. "No way, not me."
"Yes you. You know what they call a female fox?", Lydia replied, smiling at her. "A vixen."
"Me?", Kira repeated in disbelief.
"You can do it Kira, be a vixen.", Lydia encouraged as they all grinned at her.
After school, Sam told Stiles she was gonna check up on Derek before heading to the lake house. Just as she walked in, Peter fell to the ground grunting in pain.
Sam hid a smile while Derek helped him stand. "He said he was after you.", Peter told his nephew and Sam raised an eyebrow.
"How does a guy with no mouth say anything?", Derek asked him before she could.
"With this.", Peter replied holding up some sort of glove.
"What are you two talking about?", she asked. "I was stabbed with a tomahawk by a guy with no mouth.", Peter clarified. Sam's eyebrows furrowed.
"Wait, is this the same guy who killed Sean and his family?", Sam asked.
"Seems like it.", Derek replied, looking at the glove.
"And now he's after you.", she sighs and rubbed her face as Peter got dressed and left.
"This just adds more shit to our pile.", she muttered, walking over to the table and looking down at the axe that sat on the table.
"I wouldn't touch that.", Derek warned. Sam held her hands up in surrender. "I wasn't gonna touch it.", she scoffed.
He raised an eyebrow as he walked over to her. "Okay, I was curious. But I wasn't gonna touch it.", she said and leaned against the table.
"We have to figure out who the guy is. Who attacked Peter, and why's he after me. So we need to go see the Sheriff.", Derek said. "Why the Sheriff?", she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"He was already looking into this guy and asked me to help when that Sean kid was killed on the roof of the hospital." Sam raised her eyebrows as he raised one in return. "You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?", he asked.
Sam shook my head. "Why?", she asked. He tilted his head, crossing his arms while giving her a knowing look. "I smelled Scott which means Scott was up there and you left to go see him. Something happened. Fess up."
"Scott gave me a rundown of what happened, and there was someone else up there but it's not my place to tell.", Sam says, shrinking.
"What happened?"
"Can't tell you.", she grimaced. Derek let out a sigh and rolled his eyes as he grabbed his keys. "Let's go.", he said. They got in his car and headed to the Sheriff's station to show Mr. Stilinski the glove and told him about the guy with no mouth that nearly killed Peter.
"I still don't get how this guy has no mouth.", Sheriff said as he picked up the glove Derek had put on his table. "I mean how can he eat?"
Derek looked up, blinking. "Peter didn't get a chance to ask, he was fighting him off with a tomahawk buried in his chest.", Derek replied, sarcastically. Sam snickered as the sheriff casually ignores his sarcasm.
"Yeah and who goes around with a tomahawk?", Sheriff asked us just as Parrish walked in.
"I carried one for IED removal in Afghanistan.", he said. "It's military and so is that.", he pointed at the glove. "Do you know what it's used for?", Derek asked him.
"Well this one looks like it's been modified.", Parrish replied. The Sheriff looked at Sam and Derek as he went and closed the door again before turning back to Parrish.
"Show us.", he asked Parrish.
Parrish started logging onto a computer trying to pick up an IP address while we all waited. "Okay I think I got an IP address.", Parrish said after a little while of digging.
"That means we can find him right?", the Sheriff asked and stepped forwards to look at the screen.
"Definitely, especially if…" Parrish was cut off then the glove moved its fingers, making me back up.
"What was that?", Derek and Sam asked in unison.
"I think I found a message." Parrish announced when he looked back at the screen "Does anyone recognize the handle 'Benefactor'?"
"Money transferred.", Derek said. "What does that mean?"
"That means this guy is not just a killer, he's an assassin.", the sheriff said.
"Great…", Sam muttered. They found out the IP address was coming from the school's Wi-Fi so they quickly rushed over there.
As they walked in, Sam immediately closed her eyes, as she sensed for another body. There was something here.
The sheriff was holding a flashlight and his gun up scanning the hallway.
"You know just because this guy connected to the school's Wi-Fi, doesn't mean he's still here.", Derek said, dragging her along. "There is something here, though.", Sam muttered.
"True but I've seen enough of this school to keep a gun in my hand when walking in after dark.", the sheriff said.
Sam was glad she wasn't the only paranoid one.
"Like blood…" Derek and Sam looked over and the Sheriff immediately pointed his light at a pool of blood under a door.
"That doesn't make any sense.", Derek said as the Sheriff turned around scanning the hallways.
"Yeah no kidding.", the sheriff said.
"No, that's not what I mean. I should have caught the scent before we walked in.", Derek cleared, walking up to the door. Derek went to open the door but the Sheriff stopped him.
"Hold on.", he whispered. "You being nervous makes me nervous.", the Sheriff said before looking through the window on the door before slowly opening the door an inch.
Derek looked inside when he saw a wire attached to the handle. Sam caught onto his line of sight and their eyes widened. Derek and Sam looked down at the contraption that connected the wire to the handle.
Shit.
"It's an explosive. A claymore.", Derek said and turned his head. "Get down!", he yelled, grabbing the Sheriff and Sam just narrowly dodging the tomahawk that was thrown at them by the guy with no mouth.
They started fighting, dodging the tomahawks in his hands, and the Sheriff was knocked to the ground. Derek got the upper hand, holding the assassin's arms behind his back while the Sheriff was quick to pull his gun out.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law, you have the right to an attorney, if you can afford one–" the sheriff read his rights coming behind him with handcuffs but Derek saw Peter running at them.
"No. Peter, no!", Derek yelled, pulling the Sheriff and Sam out of the way as Peter started attacking the assassin, completely clawing out his throat. The three were morbidly shocked as Peter dropped the mute's vocal cord. The Sheriff pointed his gun at Peter as he stood up and wiped his claws.
They all stood up and watched Peter shake his head at the Sheriff, giving him a knowing smile before walking away. "We've learned a better way.", Derek growled out at his uncle.
"I'm a creature of habit.", Peter said, nonchalantly walking out as the Sheriff lowered the gun in relief.
Sam sighed, turning away from the sight and shaking her head. "I hate him. Have I mentioned I hate him?"
Derek sighed and shook his own head. They couldn't even get an answer out of the guy. Derek took her back to his place and she set her shoes by the door before she went to sit on the couch.
They thought they'd seen some pretty gruesome shit before but Peter was way out of line.
Derek glanced at her from where he stood. "You okay?"
"Other than nearly having my head chopped off by a psychopath with tomahawks and nearly getting killed by your equally insane uncle once again, I'm peachy.", she gave him a short smile. He sighed and sat next to her.
"You hungry?", he suddenly asked. She looked at him in disbelief. "You're gonna ask me that shit after what we just saw?"
He shrugged with wide eyes. "It's a reasonable question to ask. Did you or did you not have your necessities today?", he asked.
Sam sighed. "Derek, I don't even have an appetite. If anything, I'm tired."
He sighed again. "I'm sorry.", he apologized. Sam shrugged and slid over to lean on his arm. He moved his arm to wrap around her shoulders.
"You can't apologize for his actions. I'm just kinda glad the psychotic trait doesn't run in the family.", Sam says, making Derek's chest rumble with a chuckle.
"Yeah, well, you'd probably just kick my ass if I did end up like him.", he says. She turned to him, amused. "You think I could?"
He shrugged. "I mean, the impossible is apparently possible, so maybe you have a chance."
She lets out a chuckle, leaning back into his chest. "You're an ass.", she muttered, making him huff in amusement. "Just saying.", he responds.
They stayed like that for a moment before she got sleepy. Before she could get up to leave, he sensed her fatigue and picked her up, carrying her over to his bed.
Not bothering to argue with him, Sam laid down, watching him go to his side and lay down next to her and pulled her close. "Go to sleep.", he said, nuzzling his chin above her head. He didn't have to say more as she let her eyes shut close for the night.
The next day turned out more complicated than it needed to be.
Lydia cracked the key for the code and it turned out it was a dead pool with their names on it. These killings that had already been happening were just getting started.
Scott, Stiles and Sam were standing in the Sheriff's office showing him the list. She frowned as she looked at it. Scott, Lydia, Kira, Derek and Sam were all on the list but it didn't make any sense.
"It's a dead pool.", Scott said, snapping her out of her thoughts. "A list for supernatural creatures, this is only part of it, the rest still has to be decoded." The Sheriff sighed as he started looking down the list and she looked at it again.
Sean Walcott 250
David Walcott 250
Michael Walcott 250
Christina Walcott 250
Lydia Martin 20
Scott McCall 25
Samantha Wilson 26
Demarco Montana 250
Derek Hale 15
Carrie Hudson 500
Kayleen Bettcher 250
Kira Yukimura 3
Elias Town 250
"Who found this list?", the Sheriff asked.
"Lydia.", Stiles replied.
"How?", he asked, rubbing his forehead.
"She wrote it. Actually, she transcribed it without realizing it.", Stiles said and his dad nodded.
"Banshee?"
"Banshee.", Stiles nodded, happy his dad was understanding now.
"Beautiful, alright, what are these numbers next to the names?", the Sheriff asked them.
"We're getting to that. First you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key.", Stiles explained.
"Wait, you mean like a, like a keyword?"
"It was actually a name."
"Allison.", Scott mumbled sadly and Sam rubbed his shoulder. "Her name broke a third of the list.", Stiles said softly.
"And we think there's two other cipher keys.", Sam says.
"Which will give us the rest of the names…" The Sheriff nodded. "Okay, so how do we get the cipher keys?"
"Same way we got the code.", Stiles replied.
"Lydia." Scott and Sam said in unison. "She's been at the lake house all weekend trying to find the other two key words.", Scott said.
"You didn't know about Demarco or Carrie?", the Sheriff asked them. Sam shook her head.
"And what about these other two names on the list, uh Kayleen Bettcher and Elias Town, they're werewolves too?"
"We actually don't know.", Sam replied looking at Scott who nodded.
"But Deaton said the Nemeton would draw supernatural creatures here.", Scott said.
"Here being Beacon Hills or Beacon County, the population of Beacon Hills is just under 30,000 citizens.", the sheriff said.
"And dropping.", Stiles mumbled, making her frown at him.
"But if we're talking Beacon County then you're looking at close to 500,000. Look, how many werewolves, banshees, kitsunes and whatever the hell else is out there are we talking about?", Sheriff Stilinski asked. "And what happens if the next cipher key uncovers not thirteen names but a hundred?"
"We don't think there would be that many, there's a limit.", Stiles said.
"Because of the numbers, we think that once we decode the names the numbers will add up to a hundred seventeen." Scott added.
"A hundred seventeen what?"
"Million.", Sam said, looking at the list again. Stiles grabbed a pen and the list and started writing letters next to the names.
Sean Walcott 250 K
David Walcott 250 K
Michael Walcott 250 K
Christina Walcott 250 K
Lydia Martin 20 M
Scott McCall 25 M
Samantha Wilson 26 M
Demarco Montana 250 K
Derek Hale 15 M
Carrie Hudson 500 K
Kayleen Bettcher 250 K
Kira Yukimura 3 M
Elias Town 250 K
"One hundred and seventeen million dollars, dad.", Stiles said when he finished.
"Which was stolen from the Hale vault.", Sam muttered.
"And is being used by someone to finance all these murders.", Stiles added.
"Somebody who wants every supernatural creature in Beacon Hills dead.", Scott said.
"So the coded list goes out and somehow these professional assassins get that list-"
"And the cipher key", Stiles cut his dad off.
"And then they go after the names on the list, they being killers with no mouths, tomahawks, thermo-cut wires that can take your head off.", his dad finished.
"Let me see this.", Stiles said looking at the photos from Carrie Hudson's murder. "Carrie was also stabbed, what's this mark?" He pointed at the mark around the stab wound on the picture.
"We're not sure yet, we're waiting on the ME's report, there's one other thing I don't get, how did the new assassin know that Demarco was going to be at the lake house?"
"Everyone knows he delivers kegs to teenagers for a little extra cash.", Scott replied.
"Ah, so you ever ordered that keg to kill Demarco?"
"Yeah, it was someone at the party.", Stiles answered.
"A student.", Scott said.
After figuring out the numbers, they went to school. Well, they, being Sam and Derek who hid in the locker room so he could see who Liam was.
He hadn't said a word the moment they got there.
"Are you mad at me?", Sam asked Derek, who looked at her in confusion.
"What would I need to be mad at you for?", Derek asked, leaning on a row of lockers across from her, twisting a lacrosse stick in his hand.
"I didn't tell you that Liam was there. At the hospital. Scott took him because he bit him.", Sam says and he smiled a bit.
"Like you said, it wasn't my place to know. I can't be mad at that.", he said. He looked down at the floor. "If there's anything I learned about you, it's that you're loyal. I respect that. I ad–"
He stopped as they heard Liam approaching. They glanced at each other before Derek led Sam to the sound of Liam's frustration. Derek smirked and dragged the tip of the lacrosse stick he held along the lockers which caught Liam's attention.
His blue eyes angrily stared at them.
"Is this yours?", Derek asked him, twirling the stick in his hands before snapping the pole in half and throwing the pieces at Liam's feet.
They could hear Liam's soft growls and huffs as he looked up with glowing gold eyes. Liam charged at Derek but Derek easily grabbed his neck and pinned him against the lockers as Liam started snapping his teeth at him, but stopped as they heard Scott.
"Liam.", Scott's soft voice rang out through the room. Liam gradually calmed down enough as Scott walked over to them.
"You're right, he is angry.", Derek said, amused before dropping Liam who huffed.
"This one's yours.", Scott said holding up Liam's lacrosse stick then threw it at him. Liam turned to them still with a glare as the bell rang. "Get to class Liam.", Scott said.
Liam glared at Derek, only for him to raise his eyebrows at the boy before Liam finally left. Sam looked up as Derek started smiling and so did Scott who looked at him in confusion. "What are you smiling about?", Scott asked him.
"You're gonna be good at this.", Derek said, proudly.
"Are you kidding?", Scott scoffed. "I am totally unprepared, remember how you said you could teach me a few things? I think right now I could use a full-on training manual."
Sam chuckled, walking over to give Scott a hug.
"I'll tell you one thing. That anger he's got, it'll make him strong.", Derek replied.
"And dangerous.", Scott added
"Very.", Derek agreed. Scott sighed and sat down.
"This was supposed to be the semester where we could focus on school again." Derek sat down beside him. "But Kate's back and now I've got a Beta and there's a dead pool."
"If all our names are on that list, then that's what we should be focusing on.", Derek said and shook his head. "Do you think Lydia can get that second key?"
"She's working on it.", Scott replied, standing up and leaving. Sam frowned as she watched him leave. He was worried. All of them were.
Derek stayed silent. "What're you thinking?", Sam asked. He looked at her in disbelief. "You're worth twenty six million dollars. You, of all people, are worth more than the rest of us."
She shrugged. "I don't even know how or why, but I guess.", she says and he shakes his head at her.
"You're not worried about this?", he asked. She sat down next to him. "Of course I'm worried. But we're all sticking together. That's my push. That's my reason for staying alive.", she says, smiling at him. "I'm sick of my friends dying on me. I'm sick of seeing you in danger, especially when I'm not there to help like I said I would.", she tells him and he frowns.
"I'm not letting it happen again.", she declared. He stares at her for a moment before sighing.
"Sam–", he gets cut off by the second class bell. "You should go to class. You're late."
"I don't care about class.", she argued with a scoff. He smiles. "You should. We'll… we'll talk later, yeah?"
She sighed and got up. "Okay."
"Wilson, you're six minutes late.", Coach said as Sam walked in and sat behind Scott. "Sorry, coach.", she says, unapologetically. Sam looked over at Stiles and saw his head down, looking at the murder photos of Carrie, making her grimace.
"Economic disparity exists in all forms," Coach started. "Well, take sports for example. Some teams have better training…"
She frowned and softly tapped at her desk. Who's doing these requests of kills….
Why were they specific people? Some of the people on the Deadpool she hadn't even heard of. She understood Derek and Scott. Lydia wasn't even on there even though she's a banshee. Why specifically them, including Kira who wasn't werewolf…?
Sam jumped out of her thoughts as Coach slammed the lacrosse stick he was holding on Stiles' desk, making him jump as well.
"You know, Stilinski," Coach bent down and picked up one of the photos to look at. "If I could grade you on how profoundly you disturb me, you'd be an A+ student."
"Thanks Coach…", Stiles replied.
"Put those pictures away.", Coach said, hitting his desk again with the lacrosse stick and pulled away but Stiles suddenly grabbed the end and pulled it towards him then pulled off the soft cap on the end of the stick.
"What the hell are you doing…?", Sam whispered.
"Stilinski." Stiles started looking back and forth between the photos and the end of the stick.
"What the hell is wrong with you?", Coach exclaimed in confusion as Stiles was still holding the lacrosse stick before he finally yanked it out of the boy's hand. "Don't answer that.", Coach said before walking away.
Scott and Sam both looked at him confused but the look on Stiles' face made them frown in worry.
"It's a lacrosse player.", Stiles said.
"The killer's on the team.", Scott said in realization.
After class, they all went into the locker room and gathered everyone's lacrosse sticks and checked every single one, pulling the soft caps off looking for one with a blade in it.
It was kinda stupid, considering if the killer was smart, he wouldn't leave the stick lying around.
"Maybe instead of trying to find a lacrosse stick with a hidden dagger in it, we should be trying to get the game cancelled.", Kira suggested.
"The game is the best way to catch him red-handed.", Scott replied.
"But what if he's red-handed 'cause his hands are covered in the blood of the person that he just stabbed to death.", Stiles said. "Which, by the way could be either of you guys.", he said pointing at Scott, Kira and Sam.
"Or Liam.", Scott said. "Well, we don't have the whole list and he could be on it."
"We don't know anything about the list. How it's made, or how it's updated.", Sam says.
"Exactly. Who's been out taking a supernatural census anyway?", Stiles asked.
"How do they even know about me?", Kira asked. "Exactly.", Sam says. It was ridiculous.
"They know about everyone.", Scott replied.
"Alright I think Kira's right, I think we should stop the game.", Stiles said. "I'm not afraid.", Scott said as he looked at Kira. "Neither am I.", she agreed.
"Well I'm terrified and I'm not even on the list.", Stiles exclaimed. "Guys, these are professional killers! It's their profession. One of them's got a thermo-cut wire that cuts heads off, who knows what else they have?"
"I kinda agree with Stiles.", Sam says, making Stiles do a little fist pump.
After our discussion, Sam met up with Malia and Lydia.
Sam had asked her if she figured out the key to the code but that was a bust. They told her they had tried going to talk to Meredith Walker.
"Eichen House says Meredith can't have visitors without permission from a family member.", Lydia said as they walked down the hall.
"That's not going to be easy since her whole family is dead.", Malia said.
"Welp.", Sam says. This was definitely a bust.
"Okay, maybe we can go back to the art room or music room?", Malia suggested looking at Lydia.
"I'm not plucking piano strings for two hours waiting for some supernatural inspiration.", Lydia argued.
"Fine, what else do banshees do?", Malia asked her.
"You think I know?", Lydia asked, incredulously. "I can't just turn this on. I'm not like you guys, I don't have claws or glowing eyes or super senses, I just have voices in my head." Lydia went on to explain and they noticed a few students had stopped and stared as Lydia walked away down the hallway.
Now, she definitely looked like a nut job.
Sam left Malia to follow Lydia and ran into Scott and Stiles who was watching Liam talk amongst a few Davenport Prep lacrosse players who had showed up for the upcoming game.
"I just wanted to say…have a good game." She heard Liam say as he held out his hand towards a kid he called Brett, who just laughed.
"That's cute Liam, is that what they told you to say in Anger Management?" She frowned.
"Apologize and everything's fine? You demolished Coach's car.", Brett said.
"I paid for it.", Liam replied. She could tell this was gonna get bad. She stepped up in front of the boys as they looked at her in confusion.
"Yeah you're going to pay for it.", Brett said. "We're gonna break you in half out there and it's gonna be all your fault."
Sam glanced at Liam's balled fists as droplets of blood dripping between his fingers and she rushed to him, Scott and Stiles following in suit. Scott and Sam pulled Liam back as Stiles talked to Brett. Sam rubbed Liam's back as he continued huffing.
"Hey, what's going on prep students? Welcome to our little public high school, how you doing?", Stiles introduced, holding out his hand to Brett. "Stiles." Brett didn't return the hospitality.
"That's a firm handshake you got there, uh were very excited for scrimmage tonight, uh but let's keep it clean all right, no rough stuff out there, alright see you on the field." Stiles turned, pushing his friends toward the school. "Go."
They quickly pulled Liam away and into the boys locker room, getting him underneath the showerhead as he started changing and growling at them so they turned on the tap on with freezing water while Scott and Sam held him underneath it.
"Okay, you calm yet?", Stiles asked him but he roared at them. His fangs stuck out threateningly so they pushed him back under.
"Okay, okay!", Liam said, panting as they let him go. Stiles turned off the water while Liam leaned against the shower wall before sliding down to sit on the wet floor.
"That car you smashed, I thought you said it was your teachers?", Scott asked him.
"He was also my Coach, he benched me for the entire season."
"What did you do?", Sam asked him.
"I got a couple red cards.", Liam replied, shamefully.
"Just a couple?", Stiles asked but Liam didn't answer so Scott crouched down to his height.
"You gotta be honest with us, what else happened?"
"Nothing.", Liam said. "I got kicked out of school, they sent me to a psychologist for evaluation."
"What did they call it?", Scott asked him.
"Intermittent Explosive Disorder", Liam replied. Sam's eyebrows raised at the information. It kinda made sense as to why he was cocky. He wasn't cocky, he was proud of himself.
"I.E.D, you're literally an I.E.D. That's great, that's – Scott, you gave superpowers to a walking time bomb.", Stiles says, sarcastically giving Scott a thumbs up.
"Stiles, stop it.", Sam scolded.
"Did they give you anything for it?", Scott asked Liam.
"Risperdal, it's an antipsychotic.", Liam informed.
"Oh this just gets better."
"Stiles.", Sam hissed.
"But I don't take it.", Liam said.
"Obviously.", Stiles replied with a smile. Sam slapped his arm. "Okay, okay.", he said.
"I can't play lacrosse on it, it makes me too tired.", Liam told us.
"Okay, I think you should bail out of the game, tell Coach your leg is still hurting.", Scott replied. Liam's eyes got wide as he stood. "No, no! I can do this, especially if you're there."
"But Liam, it's not just about the game.", Scott quickly glanced at Sam and Stiles. "We think whoever killed Demarco might be on our team."
"Who's Demarco?", Liam asked in confusion.
"The one who brought the beer to the party, the guy who was beheaded, remember?", Stiles replied.
"We think the person who ordered the keg killed Demarco.", Scott said and Liam looked down.
"What's the matter? Do you know something?", Sam asked.
"I don't know who ordered the keg…but I know who paid for it.", he said.
"Who?", Sam asked him.
"Garret, he's a freshman.", Liam told them. Stiles, Scott and Sam shared a look.
