Rewriting The Season 5 Halloween Arc

A TMNT 2012 Rewrite

The Halloween arc in TMNT 2012 (S5 Ep14-17) was an exciting 4 part arc where the Turtles team up with their time traveling friend, Renet Tilley, and with her help they travel to different time periods to stop Savanti Romero from recruiting history’s greatest monsters and take over present day New York City. The whole arc was entertaining, seeing the Turtles fight these iconic monsters, but a disappointing detail, in my opinion, when watching this spooky arc was the exclusion of April O’Neil and Casey Jones.

I feel the inclusion of April and Casey helping the Turtles and working along side Renet was wasted potential. I was hoping we were going to see Renet’s dynamic with April and Casey, but sadly that hope was taken away when April and Casey were turned into vampires in the first 5 minutes of the arc, casting them off to the side and missing out on the adventure.

So for this rewrite I ask the question: What would’ve happened if April and Casey where involved in the Turtles and Renet’s Halloween time traveling adventures?

Lets start with the beginning of the episode, cause I’m rewriting that whole opening of April and Casey trick or treating. Instead the episode opens with a familiar scene, the ending scene to the season 3 episode Tale of the Yokai.

The arc starts where the episode Tale of the Yokai ends with Renet bringing the turtles back to the present day, Renet kisses Mikey goodbye, and leaves through the portal.

We then see what happened to Renet as she went through the portal and left the turtles after the episode, returning to her time, she takes a deep breath as the portal closes behind her. Once it closes she lets out an joyful fangirl scream and begins expressing how thrilling it was for her to work alongside the “turtle warriors of legend”. She talks to herself about how much of an honor it was to actually meet them along with the flattery that Michelangelo had an romantic interest in her. Renet blushes as she reminisces about what happened between her and the young turtle just moments ago and there potential blooming romance.

“I can’t wait to see him again!” Renet cheers happily.

“Oh no you won’t!” An angry voices call out as someone grabs Renet’s ear. It’s Lord Simulantius, finally seeing his true human form (not as a floating head, but as he appeared in Renet’s flashback sequence in Turtles in Times)

Lord Simultaneous rips the Time Scepter out of Renet’s hands and begins dragging her by the ear across the Time Masters’ Temple (like an angry mother with her in trouble child at a grocery store). He immediately begins lecturing her about taking the Time Scepter and Savanti Romero almost taking over history with it, calling her foolish and irresponsible. Lord S. then comments that she was lucky enough that the Turtle Warriors of Legend helped her but she shouldn’t be getting involved with their history especially with Mikey’s, since now he’s fallen for her. Renet comments that she likes Mikey back and that there is no harm in having a crush. Lord S. tries to shoot down her ideas of being with Mikey by saying he’ll one day fall for a girl named Shinigami and many more potential partners will come his way that he’ll fall for.

(Note: In this rewrite their would be a sequence during the Kavaxas arc were Shinigami rejected Mikey’s love confession, which has Mikey realize that Renet is the girl for him. I actually have a short fanfic on this that you can read HERE)

The two Time Masters are both unaware that Mikey will be rejected by Shini in the future (which we the audience would already know), Renet feels heart broken, but still shows that her feelings for Mikey are still there, but with more sign of resentment, regret, and feeling used. She begins thinking that if he’s gonna flirt with others, there’s no harm in her flirting with others too.

Lord S. punishes Renet for her “screw up” by having her do scouting reports of banished time criminals they sent to other time periods. First on her list is Savanti Romero. Worried she’ll lose the Scepter like last time Lord S. gives Renet an emergency time travel device before sending her off. We then see the scene that was originally a 2D flashback sequence in the original show of Romero attacking Renet with a dino army and stealing her emergency time travel device. Instead of it being a 2D flashback it’s a short action sequence of Renet fighting Romero, but (like in canon) he escapes and times travel to a different period.

The scene ends with a panicked Renet, realizing she has messed up (once again) as she says in a worried defeat, “Oh Groak…”

CUE THE INTRO!

It’s Halloween night in present day New York where we see April and Casey trick or treating and with them is a little girl with black eyes and long black hair tied into two ponytails dressed as pirate. It’s Casey’s little sister! (Because I think this would be a cute little cameo so we can finally meet her). Her name is Angel and through dialogue we learn that Casey’s dad made him bring his little sister with him for trick or treating, he apologizes to April for the “third wheel” but April says she doesn’t mind, she loves kids. We would even see through the little dialogue that Angel is spunky, bold, and full of attitude, defiantly a mini female Casey Jones.

Like in canon, Casey pulls a “trick” on someone for not giving him candy (for this imagine instead someone was mean to his sister and refused to give her candy) and the three are laughing and having a fun Halloween. As they walk down the street we see a mysterious figure lurking in the shadows watching them.

Soon just like in the episode the vampires and other monsters attack. Casey’s little sister gets bitten and turns into a vampire. April and Casey fight them off the best they can, but soon they realize there are far too many of them. They are surrounded.

Suddenly a bright portal appears in the sky and April and Casey get saved by a girl in weird clothing holding a strange looking device. It’s Renet!

She instructs them to follow her. With no other choice, April and Casey run off with her. Once they are safe up top a building’s roof, they ask her what is going on and she says there’s no time to explain and how she can fix everything before matters get worse.

"It'll be easy,” she explains, “I just need to find Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo."

April and Casey’s eyes widen with suspicion.

"I-I'm sorry?" April asked.

"You know..." Renet says coy. She then leans in towards them and whispers, "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Tu-"

Before she could finish her sentence, April and Casey draw their weapons, April with her tessan and Casey with his hockey stick, and aim them at Renet, cornering her.

"Okay listen, we don't know who you are or what the heck is going on, but how to you know about the turtles?" April asked aggressively.

“Yeah!” Casey adds, “Start talking, headdress.”

"Oh... I-I... Well, um... You're right. I'm sorry. Let me start over," She clears her throat, "My names Renet Tilley, I too am a friend of the turtles."

"Funny," Casey glares, "They never mentioned you..."

"They don't tell you a lot of things. You'd be surprised of the secrets those boys keep from you," Renet smirks. April and Casey share a quick look as she continues, "Listen we have no time to waste, here's this criminal, Savanti Romero, who wishes to take over your time and later mine. I know the turtle warriors are the only ones who can help me stop him. They've done it once, they can do it again. So please.... will you take me to them?"

April and Casey look at one another. They can hear the screams of the people down in the streets being attacked by the monsters. If what this girl is saying is true then they have no choice. April then pulls out her T-Phone and calls Donnie.

We then cut to the turtles in the lair getting ready for Halloween. The scene will play out in canon: Leo’s Spaceheroes fanboying, “Smooooth Donatello~” and Mikey’s fairy princess costume suggestion to Raph.

(Note: I’m changing that “Smooooth Donatello~” joke, Donnie is still dress as a pimp surrounded by the TMNT girls (April, Shinigami, Rook), but replace Karai with Mona Lisa, because WHY IS HE IMAGINING HIS SISTER IN THAT FANTASY?? Also all the girls are dress in pretty purple dresses to match his mask. Add the funny idea of Raph glaring at Donnie in the background, hinting that Raph knows Donnie imagine Mona in that fantasy and he is NOT happy.)

As they discuss their costume ideas and express their excitement for their favorite holiday, Donnie gets a video call from April and answers it, "Hey, April! We're just getting ready- "

"Yeah, that's great Donnie, um, look, there's some weird things going on up here." April tells him through the video call.

"Yeah, weird, but metal!" Casey said popping from behind her excitedly.

Donnie's brother's hear what April said. She sounded worried but also confused. They huddle around Donnie as they look at April in the video call.

"What do you mean weird?" Leo asked.

"There's these monster, vampires, werewolves, everything! They tried attacking us!" April turns her phone to quickly show the turtles the monster attacks from the streets below.

"What the-?! Are you alright?!" Donnie panics.

"We're fine. Thankfully we got some help. She says she know you guys."

"Who?" Leo asked.

April moves the camera of her phone and aims it at Renet. She smiles and happily waves, "Hello Turtle Warriors!"

"RENET?!" The turtles all cried out in shock.

"O-Okay! We'll be right there!" Leo tells his friends through the call.

"Just hurry!" April hands up.

"Knowing that Renet is here she must've been the cause of what’s going on." Raph comments.

"Looks like Halloween is on hold tonight," Leo says, "Let's go ninjas!" and the turtles head off.

The turtles then meet up with April, Casey, and their old friend Renet up on a high roof top.

"It's so great to see you again, Renet," Mikey said happily hugging Renet, "We haven't seen you in, like, a year."

"Really?" Renet asked with a surprised look on her face, "Huh... Well, for me it's only been about two... maybe three hours."

"Fascinating..." Donnie says, "It makes sense for you since you're from the future and have the technology to travel to any time period you wish."

"I'm sorry!" April said confused, "Future?! Time Travel?! What’s going on?!”

“Yeah, and how do you know this chick?” Casey adds.

There was no time to explain, for Savanti Romero arrives. He attacks and Renet creatures a time portal to escape, sending her, the turtles, April and Casey to Ancient Egypt.

The rest of the arc will go out as it played in canon: Same order of time periods they travel, Raph turns into a vampire (April, Casey, and Donnie all will too later on), Mikey befriends Frankenstein, etc. And yes, when the gang travels to Transylvania, April and Casey will also get their own monster hunter outfits from Renet just like the turtles, because April and Casey deserve more outfit changes! I like seeing them in different outfits!!

I imagine their monster hunter outfits would look something like this:

I also want to note a little detail of dialogue of when Raph is bitten but not a vampire yet, April would make comments about how she can sense something is wrong with Raph, how his aura is off. Maybe she would even try to use her psychic powers to get through to Vampire!Raph, but fails because Dracula’s control over him is too strong to break. Her powers can only temporally break free from Dracula’s mind control. If they want to free Raph from the vampire curse, they have to kill Dracula.

Lighting Round! (cause this is already a long post) Like I said, everything plays out like it did in canon. I just have some little details I wanna add that involve Renet, April, or Casey (or all three):

Because of meeting Renet and her comment that their are things about the turtles that they don’t bother telling them, it makes April and Casey question their friendship with the turtles and they wonder what else have the turtles hide from them or haven’t told them about. They are all growing up and sometimes growing up means you drift apart.

While in Egypt and later in Transylvania April and Renet get to talking. April starts by trying to make small talk with Renet, but slowly realizes that Renet and her have some things in common. She also starts to take note of Mikey’s flirtatious actions towards Renet. “Weird...” April thinks to herself, “I thought he liked Shinigami.” This would make April realize that she doesn’t fully know the turtles, that Renet was right. There are some things that they will keep from her.

Casey would end up getting flirty with Renet, causing Mikey to get jealous.

Casey: That Renet girl is impressive. She’s pretty smart.

Mikey, looking out at Renet lovingly: Yeah! Isn't she amazing?!

Casey: And she’s fun.

Mikey: Totally!

Casey: Cute too.

Mikey: Gorge-

Mikey: *death stare at Casey*

Casey: ¬‿¬

Mikey would begin to take notice of Casey’s flirtatious behavior towards Renet and Renet even starts to flirt back. This causes him to get jealous, while Donnie is happily relieved that Casey is no longer putting the moves on April.

Later Mikey would ask April to tell Casey to stop flirting with Renet. April would say no and call Mikey out on his Shinigami situation (because now she has the full story from Renet and realizes that she and Mikey were kind of a thing when he was putting the moves on Shini). Mikey tells April he thought there was no harm in it since they aren’t “technically” dating so he can flirt with whoever he wants, to which April tells Mikey that if that is true then Renet has a right to flirt with Casey if she wants to. This makes Mikey question what his relationship with Renet really is. Does he want to start something serious with her?

I can even imagine Mikey and Renet have a short moment to talk about their relationship and what will become of them in the future. Renet tells Mikey she does care about him, but whether or not they have a future together is now all on his decision. Should they try dating? Or is it best that they just stay friends? Mikey has to make that decision, because Renet has made up her mind either way.

To sum it up, April’s role in this arc is basically:

I think you all pretty much got a good gist of how I’d rewrite this arc, it’s mostly the beginning of the arc that takes a drastic change. After that it all plays out like it did in canon just with the inclusion of April and Casey in the beginning, they still have their moments to shine and fight along side their friends and get to show off their skills. The two would still become vampires shortly after Raph officially turns, mostly likely when they return to their time period or before that in Frankenstein’s time, and then Donnie gets turned by being bitten by Vampire!April later on.

I even imagine their would a moment where we and a the gang learn through Renet that April and Casey are historical legends as well, well known for helping the turtles in many battles throughout history. This info explains why Renet looks for them in the beginning of the arc and not the turtles themselves. April and Casey are historical legends just like the turtles!

By the end of the arc, instead of Renet saying goodbye, kissing Mikey, and just going back to her time period, instead the Turtles and their friends offer if she would like to join them on their trick or treating before she leaves. Lord S. who was going to escort Frankenstein, the gypsy man, and Renet back home, agrees as long as she returns to the future once she’s done, showing that Lord S. is starting to have more faith in Renet and letting her actually act her age. Maybe he even adds the comment “Its not everyday you befriend turtle warriors of legend and their comrades. This is an honor you should enjoy.” Renet smiles and the arc ends with Renet happily running off with her new friends (holding Mikey’s hand, hinting that they going to try a long distance relationship) as they head off to go trick or treating, all cheerfully shouting “Booyakasha!!”

MHA: Kiyomi x Todoroki Relationship Timeline (Part 4)

Here is the fourth part of the full story of my canon x OC ship, Shoto Todoroki and Kiyomi Aida. This will run through how they first met, became friends, and fell in love. I'm only gonna go through Season 1 to Season 5 (at least up to the Endeavor Agency arc), as well as cover the two films. As I am writing this, the third movie isn't out yet, but I will explain what their relationship status is at that point. :3

Alright, this is obviously for (most of) Season 4, but a few things I wanna talk about before we start:

The Shie Hassakai arc (in this perspective) will be titled the "Remedial Course" arc, since that will focus on Kiyomi and Todoroki taking this course to get their licenses.

The arc that follows (the real "Remedial Course" arc) will be renamed to the "Winning Hearts" arc... for a couple of reasons.

I had originally thought of a "school dance" arc following the School Festival, but they're not a common thing in Japan. A little rewriting on the storyline had to be done, since a past bad experience with ex-friends played a part in Kiyomi's story.

We saw Kiyomi and Todoroki have a rough start, but they become friends, and quickly bonded throughout the summer. Now, let's see what happens when the mysterious force known as "love" comes into play.

Note that this is canon in my BNHA OC storyline, which is just the canon My Hero plot if my OCs were in it. (I didn't want to make a lot of drastic changes like with TMNT 2012 to fit my OCs)

START OF A NEW SEMESTER (S3 E24 - S4 E1)

After Goku (who also failed the exam) teases Todoroki for not getting his license, Kiyomi quickly defends him yet again.

While Class 1-A was battling Togata, Kiyomi also sat out with Todoroki and Nori, because she made the decision to record her classmates to use as footage for combat. (this surprised Todoroki because she had the option to look away whenever Togata was nude but she couldn't look away. XD)

The night after Tokuda visited 1-A, Kiyomi decided to talk with Mina privately, admitting to her that she was in love with Todoroki. Mina was made to promise to not say anything to the other girls, and she told Kiyomi that she'll be rooting for her and Todoroki.

REMEDIAL COURSE (SHIE HASSAKAI)

On the day before the first combat training lesson of the course, Todoroki noticed Kiyomi practicing her hand-to-hand combat skills with Alex and Uraraka.

When Todoroki talks to Bakugo about them, Nori, and Kiyomi need to catch up when Midoriya, Uraraka, Kirishima, Tokoyami, Tsuyu, and Alex were offered Work Study positions, Bakugo's reaction to the comments made Kiyomi laugh. Todoroki, however, didn't quite understand why it was so funny to Kiyomi.

After a combat match during their training lesson, Kiyomi noticed how Todoroki got injured and got concerned for him. Goku notices this and decides to pick on her of how she's "always dependent" of Todoroki, and he rudely reminded her of how it cost her from completing the exam. This, and her failing a combat match in the lesson, made Kiyomi begin to question her decision on becoming a hero.

Todoroki had noticed that Kiyomi has been sad lately and distancing herself from him. He overheard how Goku has been making fun of her lately and decides to deal with him.

Todoroki told Goku that if he dared to make fun of Kiyomi because of how brilliant she is and the amount of growth she's had, he would have to deal with him first. Afterwards, Todoroki thought about what he told his Mom about Kiyomi and realized that she means a lot to him, but is unsure of what.

Late in the night before the first written test of the course, Todoroki found Kiyomi by herself and decided to talk to her. He told her that how he confronted Goku and that he'll be there for her like how she's been there for him.

Kiyomi has also revealed to Todoroki how she was scared of making friends after how she was treated in middle school, and how going to UA was a chance to start new, including making new friends like Todoroki.

While Kiyomi talked about her path, she referred to Todoroki as "Shoto", shocking them both (she didn't call him by his first name because she feared that it would remind him of how Endeavor addressed him). Todoroki had no problem with Kiyomi calling him by his first name, which Kiyomi will continue doing from this point on.

On the day of the written exam, both Kiyomi and Todoroki passed and she thanked him for helping her regain her confidence. It was after that moment when Todoroki realized that he may have fallen in love with her.

WINNING HEARTS (REMEDIAL COURSE)

Kiyomi noticed Todoroki walk outside to answer his phone call when the raid team returned and follows him out to check on him. This is when Kiyomi finds out that Endeavor will be watching Todoroki during their next training lesson.

Knowing that Kiyomi never met Endeavor face-to-face, Todoroki told her to "stay close if he tries anything". He also promises to deal with his father if Kiyomi gets hurt.

After Kiyomi was introduced to Camie, she was shocked and jealous of how her social skills and flirting with Todoroki.

After Camie used her Quirk to trick a little girl during the special trial, Kiyomi was completely flustered, and Camie noticed how she reacted and discovered that Kiyomi had a crush on Todoroki.

While Bakugo, Yoarashi, Todoroki, Kiyomi, Camie, and Nori played with the kids after successfully winning their hearts, Kiyomi looked to see Todoroki showing his fire to a couple of kids and smiled sweetly, happy to see how much he has grown since the start of the year.

Before the girls met up with the boys to depart, Camie pointed out how Kiyomi was really interested in Todoroki and said that she'll be the "luckiest girl in Japan" if she dated him. She also added that chances that the two would date are high.

When Endeavor told Todoroki that he wants to become the father he wanted him to be, Todoroki also responds by telling him to respect his friendship with Kiyomi.

SCHOOL FESTIVAL

This excitement continued when the class continued to plan their gig and the Stage Team was made (Kiyomi and Nori were in the team along with Todoroki, Kirishima, Sero, and Koji).

Kiyomi was genuinely excited and shocked when Todoroki brought up the idea of a rave to the class when they were brainstorming on a gig for the Festival. This drowned out her feelings about her past Festival experience (she was ghosted by a couple girls who were once her friends during a Festival, making her nervous and worry about something similar happening).

During a brief break (when Eri came to visit UA for the first time), Todoroki suggested that Kiyomi should be the head of the stage team, recognizing how Jiro and Mina lead the band and dance team and that it was within their comfort zone.

Kiyomi gladly accepted the offer to be the stage manager and helped her team come together with a plan for their gig. Although he wasn't as excited, Todoroki was happy to see Kiyomi be excited and passionate.

Todoroki helped Kiyomi calm down before their class could start their gig, having faith that the concert will go as planned.

After the concert, Kiyomi and Todoroki spent the rest of the day enjoying the festival with their friends and classmates. When the festival itself was over, Kiyomi gave Todoroki a pendant she bought at one of the stands as a gift.

That night, the students all gathered to watch the fireworks to close off the Festival. Kiyomi and Todoroki sat together with some of their friends.

That does it for now! Next part will be a bit untraditional, since I cover pretty much one entire season in each part. However, for Season 5, it'll have to be divided into two parts since a lot will happen. But I will say that we'll focus on a couple bumps the two will face now we know that Todoroki has also fallen for Kiyomi.

April: 15 years old, trans and bi. local fifteen year old telepath finds out that not everyone is able to feel what other people are feeling, something she’s been able to do since she was six after she played in that one weirdly glowy puddle (early Kraang mutagen attempt that only managed to mutate April in the sense that it gave her telepathy, was originally intended to make humans become part of the Kraang hivemind). she’s largely unfazed by the existence of mutants and aliens, taking it in stride, and finds out about the Kraang - and meets the turtles - while snooping around TCRI business (aspiring journalist that she is) and accidentally witnessing the mutation of Snakeweed. her telepathy, which later as she grows in power alongside the turtles extends to telekinesis and basically possession, is very useful whenever she gets into a scrap since she can predict what moves her opponent will make, thus letting her dodge their blows effectively. personality wise she is a very determined and driven young girl, incredibly curious (and cannot mind her own business, she wants to know all the drama while not having to be part of it... which makes her very fortunate to be a telepath. listen she’s 15 she’s allowed to misuse her powers a little bit. as a treat.), playful, and cheerful, and she’s an extroverted autistic. in her spare time between her studies, she likes to play bass, sing, read, and write. that, and investigating whatever shady business is going on in town, and she makes it very clear to the turtles that even if they weren’t going to deal with the Kraang, she’d continue to try to stop them herself. she would like to not live under the threat of her or her loved ones getting mutated, thank you very much! and, you know, it’s kind of exciting. kind of.

i know it’s bc i have brain issues when it comes to parent figures but i am very much leaning towards Splinter not being... a good dad. i don’t think 2012 Splinter is a good dad anyways but i’d probably amp it up, make him a mix of 2012 and idw probably. i’m still mulling it over but like, remember in the season 1 finale when leo is watching his show and thinks the captain guy making a totally unnecessary sacrifice is a heroic move, and then Splinter tells leo (his fifteen year old child) that leo should know what or who to sacrifice, more or less telling him to sacrifice his brothers’ lives, potentially?? i know there was a lot at stake but hello??? i remember watching it and being like me: ah i see, this is showing that splinter is wrong and there is no need for any sacrifices as seen in the show when the captain Goes Down With His Ship for no reason other than just sacrificing himself, and leo will see that- leo: *tries to sacrifice himself twice in the finale, both times being kind of unnecessary/seemed like if he had just hurried or done something slightly different there would be no need to stay behind, and he gets out fine with no consequences, seemingly no injuries, and does Not learn anything, his brothers don’t even get sad when they think he died or get mad at him for pulling such a dumb move) me: surprised_pikachu.jpeg

like that moment haunts me. has any other splinter told their sons to sacrifice himself or his brothers? has any other splinter put that on them??? idw doesn’t count if he has bc he’s more explicitly supposed to be bad so???

sometimes writers think they’ve made an uncle iroh but they really, really, really haven’t. also his backstory is the same as in the show

anyways. Donatello: 15 years old, bog turtle, nonbinary (he/they, doesn’t mind being called brother but doesn’t like to be called “boy” or “girl” or whatever), bi. he isn’t in love with April. no creepy incel shit here. donnie is instead more like a mix between his Rise and 2003 self. he has trouble expressing himself and is pretty introverted, but he is very altruistic, kind, and compassionate. a lot of his inventions are made to help people and he was driven to learn about science and engineering because he wants to find a way to reverse splinter’s mutation, to give splinter his life and humanity back. he feels like he needs to know if splinter would just abandon them if he wasn’t a huge rat man, needs to know if there’s any part of splinter that blames them for being constant reminders of his mutation. other than that, he also likes to make inventions because he’s a dreamer and wants to experiment to see how much of the unknown he can push beyond. also, the best liar out of the turtles. also fairly good at compromising and prefers to solve conflicts without violence he can get a little... “obnoxious 15 year old genius” at times. even when he’s helpful it can come off as a bit “poor dear isn’t as smart as me”, and while he usually gets along well with Raph, he doesn’t handle Raph’s temper well at all (calls him “Wrathael/Wrath” and thinks he’s being super clever) and gets really dismissive of Raph’s “outbursts”.

Michelangelo: 13 years old, diamondback terrapin, unsure about the gender and sexuality thing but he doesn’t think he’s exactly cis and definitely not straight. a bouncy ball of sunshine and surprising emotional maturity and emotional intelligence! more so than his emotionally constipated brothers, at least. it’s on his thirteenth birthday (it was leo’s idea for them to pick dates that would let them have their own birthdays instead of sharing the “Mutation Day”, Mutation Day being another special “holiday”) that the Plot would be set in motion, as he’s finally allowed to go to the surface same as his brothers, and on this first night out they meet April and the Kraang and other mutants. he is a goof still, but he’s capable in his own right and gets frustrated when people treat him like a baby or an idiot because he’s not. he doesn’t always treat everything with the seriousness it should but like. he’s thirteen, he’s having fun. even so, he’s very insistent of taking responsibility whenever he does do something wrong and gets mad if someone tries to take the blame for something he’s done. definitely the most compassionate and empathetic out of the turtles, he’s quick to make friends and is very persuasive due to his earnest nature and good heart. much like donnie, he prefers to solve conflict without violence but does enjoy knocking skulls a lot more than donnie. unlike donnie, though, he is almost overly forgiving and not petty at all. he’s well aware that his kindness and forgiveness may be taken advantage of, but he still likes to approach people with an open hand, even if he knows that it may end up getting bitten. oh, and his hobbies include drawing, cooking, singing, and dancing. he likes to express himself!

Raphael: 14 years old, mississippi map turtle, trans, bi. all his fury is compressed within his tiny body, that’s why he’s so angry all the time! no, he’s not angry all the time, but he does have a short fuse. he absolutely hates his anger issues which leads to a lot of self-loathing, and a lot of frustration as his family members either don’t take his anger seriously or don’t have the tools to help him with it. he’s the physically strongest out of the bunch and the least agile. he loves animals and plants a lot and keeps a lot of flowers in his room, hoping that he can one day become a gardener. as his idw self, he wants to watch things grow, but no matter what he does he seems to be best at destroying things. he’s also the one most self-conscious about how the human world perceives them, as he greatly fears rejection, and is the first one to see something positive with people getting mutated - namely, that maybe this way mutants will be more well known and finally accepted by society, so he’ll no longer be trapped in the sewer until the end of his days. so yeah, he’s a huge optimist, in truth. also he’s great at knitting - great at creating and taking care of things in general - and there’s no leo and raph rivalry this time around. he can get mad at leo but not really more than he gets with his other brothers.

Casey: 15 years old, nonbinary (they/them), bi. teen vigilante who gets inspired to fight mutants and the big time criminals (no beating up pickpockets or shoplifters or whatever, just the ones that are really hurting people) and gets roped into the turtle fam after meeting raph and becoming unexpected friends (everyone was expecting it, once Casey realized that mutants are people and not weird monsters. well, not all the time, anyways). they struggle a bit in school not because of a lack of trying but a lack of time, as their parents work full time jobs and someone has to take care of casey’s little sister. their parents are very loving, but they only have so much time, so casey takes it upon themselves to take care of their little sister when their parents are busy and/or burned out from work. that, and they run into the classic dilemma of vigilante work clashing with school work. as always, they have a short fuse, they’re pretty cocky, they like beating ass, and they like hockey a whole lot. hockey, vigilante work, school, and taking care of their little sister... yeah, they have a lot on their plate. oh, and making their little inventions like the taser glove and their puck bombs, something that they bond with donnie over.

Leonardo: 17 years old, Central American wood turtle, trans, gay. he doesn’t fall in love with his sister oh my god. ahem. so, leo is raised from the start to be a Leader and has to mature very quickly, learning to be an adult way earlier than he should’ve, and as such he is very stoic and quiet, and doesn’t seem to have any hobbies, instead just doing chores and training almost constantly, and when he’s not doing that he’s reading or sleeping in his free time. he’s incredibly protective of his younger brothers and his other allies/friends, even if he acts distant and detached most of the time, and removes himself from situations where they’re having fun to not be the stick in the mud. he loves his brothers and admires them greatly, believing they could be So Much if the surface world would just accept them, and as a result he tries to be The Soldier so his brothers won’t have to. alas, they still get caught up in the Kraang and Shredder business, which frustrates him internally. he is the best fighter out of the turtles on account of having more years to train (and convincing Splinter to wait a few more years before they got Real training bc Come On Dude They’re Kids) but it’s the Only thing he’s good at, along with stealth and his sharp eyes. he absolutely sucks at talking when it isn’t about a mission or something he can script easily in his head. in his mind, he’s supposed to be more of a weapon than a person, an idea that isn’t exactly encouraged by Splinter... but not exactly discouraged either. his arc would be very paralleled with Karai’s, as they would both learn to hate their dads... also, absolutely down for murder, and a lawful neutral at best, putting his family and friends’ safety above all other things and following a strict personal code. doesn’t care too much for society’s laws, though.

Karai: 16 years old, demigirl, lesbian. same backstory as in the show, she’s born as Miwa but gets taken by Oroku Saki and raised as his daughter. however, she doesn’t exactly want revenge against Hamato Yoshi because she believes that he killed her mother. she never knew her mother, so it’s much more difficult to hate someone for taking her mother away, even if it does mean that she never got to know her mother. especially since her father rarely spoke of what her mother was like, and much more about how much he hates Yoshi. instead, her need for revenge is more for the possibly idyllic life she was robbed of, since she believes that maybe, just maybe, her father Saki would’ve been a kind father that would’ve let her have a normal childhood and not be molded into a warrior from the start if her mother still lived. and hey, maybe Tang Shen would be a nice mom too. being trained in the art of deception, Karai has a tendency to talk a lot and say very little, or at least very little that is true. she is rarely ever sincere and acts as if she’s taking nothing seriously, which is part of her defense mechanism to never let anyone close or see her true self. she mocks pretty much everyone, ally and enemy alike, but especially likes to make fun of her father’s henchmen and is always the first to point out their failures. while she does value honor to some extent, she is a bit “flimsy” when it comes to loyalty, especially after the truth about her father is revealed. when that is revealed, she at first just feels very numb, learning that not only has she been nothing but a tool and a weapon for the Shredder from the very start, but also that the idyllic fantasy where her mother still lived, perhaps her life wouldn’t be so different after all. she looks at leonardo and sees a reflection of herself, that her “real” father chose to train his sons the same way the Shredder trained her. she feels stupid for feeling like she’s been robbed of even a fantasy, but it still enrages her. of course, this also inspires her to stay with the Foot Clan... just to get the kill on Shredder.

... yeah. that got long. ahem. i’m very passionate about this unfortunately!! anyways i might draw/write more for it because no one can stop me and i’m having fun

Podcast 5 Summary and Ideas

Summary: Instead of taking place in Manhattan, New York, the family Du Bois moved to California for about three months. And while settling there with a new life. Dipper Pines, the only son of the family, has met new friends. But the strangest he met was 4 giant mutant turtles that can do ninjutsu. See what adventures turtles and Louds are launching!

Hi everyone, Rayman20 here, today I plan to do a crossover series TMNT, Bart Lisa Simpson, Gravity Falls, SpongeBob, Mario, Youtube, Phineas and Ferb and Mortal Kombat titled "Podcast 5". Here is the summary:

In the USA, the family Du Bois moved from Danville, California about 3 months ago. Dipper Pines, the only boy in a family of his twin sister, feels very stressed and worried about his new life on foot and new friends like Bart, SpongeBob, Milhouse Marc and April. But one day, as he was pursued by purple dragons, he was saved by 4 strange strangers who turn out to be 4 giant talking mutant tortoises who can do ninjitsu! With these new friends / brothers, Dipper, his sisters, April, his friends and turtles will live with the difficulties of normal life and embark on many adventures and fight against the ninja, mutant, extraterrestrial and mystical threats, all remembering the importance of family. This is a series of crosses that shows the connection between two unusual families.

Notes from the author: · The idea of making this crossover series was influenced by the story of Gemturtles' The Ninjas Turtle and The Loud, which is a crossover series between TMNT and TLH. Just like its history, it also takes place in another universe where the 2 series coexist with each other. I first thought of this idea when I saw the episode of LH "One of the Boys" where the older brothers had the voice of turtles and more, they all love PIZZA ! So I said to myself, and if Jean Crytpe, (me,) (Leonardo) Moketo (Raphael) and Koretech (Michelangelo) and they have the same voice of turtles? At first, I wanted to be a simple single crossover, but I just wanted them to interact as much as possible and see how well they work together. I could imagine Dipper, Mabel, Bart, SpongeBob and Milhouse seeing the turtles as the coolest "superheroes" with them being pretty much like a nice monster, and they would probably have the same interest (reading comic books , playing video games, watching cartoons, etc.) The Albert, Jean, Wendy and the other Podcast team will meet them from the Turtle Bow 2 for spending a lot of time with the small team of Dipper. I want to see Dipper and Mabel's classmates and even the teacher trying to help turtles fight evil while interacting in different life situations, which is difficult for turtles since they have to stay in shadow. So I thought about doing something similar to Ninjas turtles and the Loud and got that idea. In addition, Bob Sponge and TMNT are both properties of NICKELODEON, so it is possible that we could see a cross with these 2 someday. But for the moment, I would like to create this series.

· Rob Paulsen plays the role of an unknown character · I told myself that what will be different from this series between TMNT and Gravity Falls and Phineas and Ferb (The Wood Family) is that instead of Danville and New York in Manhattan, the TMNT characters will all live in California because it's an important parameter for Gravity Falls characters. · Like The Turtle Ninjas and The Loud, this series will be divided into arcs with about 10-12 stories each instead of 26 episodes each season as both Podcast 2016 and 2017. I intend to adapt some stories from the suite of MK and GF to my series and rewrite them so that they have a more accurate continuity than the current show and I hope not to add as many "Dipper Wolf" since I want to do this less mean and more authentic, I also plan to reduce the amount of toilet-humor (I do not particularly like this trope). So there will be some that I will not do that I do not like (like Making the Case, The Green House, Brawl in the Family, No Such Luck, etc.). As for the TMNT side, which will be very interesting about this crossover, I will not use any previous incarnation of TMNT (Mirage, 1987, 2003, 2012, etc.) but to make it a new incarnation, so I can create the own version of TMNT 2018 characters to interact with the characters TS, MK, GF, BL, SMB and Youtube. Now, I do not know how many arcs will be created, it all depends on how long the TLH show can go or how many TMNT stories I can adapt.

· Leo in this series will be more influenced by his counterpart of 2018, but he is also a lover of extreme anime, mostly listening to classical music, creates fans art with his name of the designer. He would not be a bit like the "Star-Lord" of the TMNT series, so he and Robbie would get along well. In addition, he will also have a wonderful relationship with Bart, Milhouse, SpongeBob, Dipper and Irving as he would likely consider Leo as his personal hero and a true role model, and Leo would look at him to never give up for a child his age. . · Mikey is also the same goofball joker we all know and love, and who will be the most open minded character in the series. He collected stickers to put his shell. · Raph will be the same leader and hot as he has always been, but he has a sweet and friendly side for Robbie, Marc, Moketo and Tambry. · Donnie would be the kind nerd with a big brain. For him, I thought he'd be a little smarter than Lisa, Martin and Dipper, but he'd be more of a nerve wreck and a clean monster like Ed's Double D, Eddy and Eddy. I also think that it could also not have gynophobia (fear of women) of a traumatic experience. While he will be used to April, it would give him a hard time with Cassie and Sarah

· April would also be a teenager like her counterpart of 2012, she will be at the age of 16. Unlike meeting them as in previous incarnations, she would have met the turtles at the age of 11 and parents and pupil of Splinter. She would also have developed some training as kunoichi. She is friends with Tambry and Mabel, but she would still be friends with the Podcast team. And instead of Cristina, I thought Irving would have an un-shared crush with April for the first few episodes, until he got in touch with Mabel Pines. · I am still wondering whether to make Splinter who was mutated into a rat or reincarnate Yoshi and his sons in turtles and rats as in the IDW comics, as well as the origin of Baron Draxum. Splinter will not only bring wisdom to the turtles, but also to Dipper, his sister and his friends. · There will be violence in the street, blood and intense battles in this crossing. · I also thought Dipper, Mark, Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, Mabel, Candy, Grenda Lisa, Jessica, Moss. Jeff, Kumiku, Mario, Robbie, Moketo Tambry and April keep the secret turtles on the Podcast team until the end of the second bow and Irving's mother, Socrate's mother, Johnny, etc. do not notice it until the third · I also want to make multiple crossings in the future too; such as Ghostbusters, Batman, Usagi Yojimbo, etc. · Like April, I'm going to change the skin of youtubers except Koretech, Alison and Cosmo That's essentially it. Bro- imagine if in When Worlds Collide we had a fight scene of just Sal and Newt and that Newts backstory is the same like Tai Lung. He thought he could be the best fighter ever and make Sal proud but when that wasn't true he began becoming more violent and killing more people just to prove to Sal he is the best and amazing. And Sal blamed himself for feeding his ego and beliefs. And right when Sal is about to be killed by Newt he says sorry and shows remorse just like Shifu did. And we get a scene where Newt seems conficted over his actions but he goes back to trying to kill Sal because he himself knows that it's too late. He can't save himself he is already a horrible and terrible person. And then Mikey or Raph if Raph got the electrical powers instead comes to fight Newt and yeah. Imagine how badass that would have been! Kind of based on how you said you thought of Newt's and Sal's relationship as Shifu and Tai Lung.

Okay I wanna focus on that last part you said cause that's a whole ass rant for me. I will forever stand by this and I'm still mad the writer's didn't go this obvious route:

RAPH SHOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE TO GET THE ELECTRIC POWERS! NOT MIKEY!!

The whole When Worlds Collide arc starts off with is being focused on Raph, from the very beginning it felt like a Raph focused arc, similar to how the Kavaxas arc felt like it was a Leo focused arc. I really thought each arc in season 5 was gonna focus on each Turtle, give them a finale conclusion and Rpah kinda got that in When World Collide but what ruined it is Mikey taking away his spotlight and getting electric powers and eventually saving the day. It should've been Raph. Mikey had nothing to do with this arc till the very last minute it made no sense other than him (and Leo) being the writer's favorite.

Also, one more thing, this arc was technically the conclusion of the season 4 space adventure, but you know what's missing that would've made the arc way better? BRINGING BACK FUGITOID!!

5 Characters The 2012 Writers Could Have Shipped 2012 Leo With Instead of His Sister

Because as much as I love TMNT 2012, it’s biggest flaw (in my opinion) was the awkward uncomfortable forced romance between Leonardo and Karai.

I’m gonna start this list with two characters from other TMNT incarnations that the 2012 writers could’ve added to their show and make them the love interest for Leo, then I will give a list of current 2012 characters that could have been good potential love interests for Leo (with some rewriting of course) that I feel would be better than him being shipped with and crushing on his sister.

Lotus Blossom

Originally from the 1987 series, Lotus Blossom was a female ninja Kraang hired to replace Shredder. Lotus was given the task to capture Splinter and defeat the Turtles and when first meeting her Leo was entranced by her beauty and skills as a swordsman.

Lotus only made two appearances in the 87 cartoon and never reappeared in other versions of TMNT (as of now), which is a shame because her and Leo have a cute dynamic and played off each other very well as both friends and romantic interests, so the 2012 writers could’ve brought this classic 87 character back like they did with so many others like Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko.

I personally have two ideas for 2012 Lotus, one being she’s a warrior from the past that the Turtles meet while on another time travel adventure with Renet, OR she’s Mr. Murakami’s niece and she comes to New York to visits her uncle to help him with his restaurant and befriends the Turtles.

Koya

Bare with me, I don’t read the comics so I’m using knowledge from Wikipedia

Similar to 2012 Alopex, the writers could’ve brought another famous and beloved character from the IDW comics into the 2012 series. in the IDW comics Koya was Shredder’s pet falcon who eventually got mutated and became a scout and bounty hunter for The Foot Clan.

It is hinted that their is a romance between Koya and Leo, mostly from the character Lita who says that Koya has feelings for Leo (something Koya claims is a lie) and Lita even says that the two are together romantically in the future.

2012 Shredder already was growing his own army by recruiting mutants like Tiger Claw, I’m surprised he didn’t continue this by finding or creating Koya for his army.

Casey Jones

Could’ve ended the dumb capriltello love triangle. And who doesn’t love the reckless bad boy jock x nerdy responsible popular boy trope?

I’ve been getting really into Caseynardo lately and I think this would’ve been a fun pair to see in the show. The two rarely had moments together and its a shame cause even as buddies they are fun to watch.

I’d imagine that this romance would start to blossom by season 3. Casey is getting over April and starts spending more time with Leo while everyone else trains, keeping Leo company since he can’t join in because of his injury. Casey would offer to Raph for him watch over and take care of Leo while Raph continues to train his brothers and April, as a way to get some stress/responsibilities off Raph’s shoulders. During the farm house arc Casey would hang with Leo and the two would bond and learn they have more in common then they think (both are the older siblings of their families and would do anything to keep them safe). This would start their growing friendship and later blossoming romance that would develop more during the rest of the series.

Shinigami

Even though I headcanon Shinigami as a lesbian and I ship Shinirai hardcore, let’s consider Leogami so a moment. Leo would still get himself a goth kunoichi from the Foot Clan as a gf, but this time with the bonus of her knowing magic, and hands down being one of the most beautiful female characters in the show fight me

I mean seriously, they could’ve held off on Leo getting a love interest until Shinigami comes along. Also why give Mikey a second love interest when he already has Renet, creating a random love triangle, and never acknowledge/do anything with it??

Just replace all of Mikey’s scenes/moments of him showing attraction towards Shini and replace him with Leo and then BOOM, both problems are fixed! No pointless Mikey love triangle and no Leo simping for his sis.

Miyamoto Usagi

Hear me out! 2003 fans are probably already on board, but 2012 Usagi would need some rewriting if this were to happen if the 2012 writers consider this instead of leor*i.

Though his age is never confirmed in the 2012 series, it is speculated Usagi is a young adult in this version. Here’s what the 2012 writers should have done, rewrite Usagi as a teenager like they did with so many other classic characters for the 2012 series and have him and Leo build a friendship during the Samurai Turtles arc in season 5, with there being hints of a romance blooming between the young samurai and ninja by the end. But again, this would only work if Usagi was rewritten.

If they can turn April into a teenager and ship her with Donnie then they could’ve done the same thing with Usagi!

I don't suppose you know why the creators brought Alopex into the show for one episode and then never brought her back again or so much as mentioned her in any of the later episodes? It has been bugging me for awhile.

It was obvious they had an idea for her and Tiger Claw, but didn't have time to fully explore it most likely due to Nickelodeon cancelling the series and wanting to restart and make a brand new TMNT series with ROTTMNT, so they had to rush with season 5 and get all their finale ideas out that they couldn’t put into the main story. That’s why season 5 is just a random collection of side stories (or tales) or “What if?” stories instead of actually continuing the story from previous seasons.

I would've LOVED to have Alopex return. She was an interesting character with a lot of potential. Out of all the TMNT female characters she was the most robbed. At least Mona Lisa and Renet were given more then one episode. Alopex seemed like she was just there to answer the "What happened to Tiger Claw's tail?" question (which didn't really need to be answered, it could've remained a mystery) and to give Tiger Claw an upgrade by her cutting off his arm and him later replacing it with a metal one.

If Alopex did return the perfect opportunity to bring her back could've been during the Kavaxas arc in season 5 when Tiger Claw started a Shredder cult. I say after the 2nd episode Leo could've decided that they are out numbered, they just sent both Casey and Shini to the hospital after the fight with Tatsu, and he's realizes Kavaxas and Tiger Claw are greater threats then he could ever imagine. So Leo decides to find Alopex and team up with her to help his team take down her brother. Alopex would be with them for the rest of the arc, helping them out in the fights, learning more about her and TC's story, maybe her trying reach out to TC's and fix their broken family, and maybe even Alopex becoming a mother figure/new mentor to the turtles.

The post is kind of old but my ideas still stay the same with a few added ideas I thought of over time.

I do want to write it one day as a full on fanfic but I already got other fanfic ideas I wanna work on so it may or may not happen.

However I did write something a while back, so to get my idea out there enjoy this sloppy narration of how I would make the first half of TMNT 2012 When Worlds Collide rewrite would go down!

The story/arc will open differently with a flashback to a few years ago. We see a younger Sal Commander in a brutal fight. Covered in fresh scars and is struggling to stay on his feet but he’s still fighting hard. We discover who he’s fighting and it’s (a younger looking) Newtralizer. The two young Salamandrian men continue fighting as Sal tries to reason with him, saying things like “We were once friends,” or “You were once a respected warrior and now you’ve chosen a dark path,” or “You would actually terrorize your own planet?”. Newtralizer ignores his words and knocks Sal down to the floor, his weapon aiming at the soldier. Sal then asks him what he has done wrong and why he hates him so much. Newtralizer stays silent. He evilly smiles and through Sal's point of view, we see Newtralizer swing his blade at the young soldier and it cuts to black.

We then find young Sal Commander in an infirmary, covered in bandages and stitches. He survived the attack. We see he has a patch on his left eye and on the side of his left stomach (with that we learn how he got the metal eye and the metal patch on his stomach). A young worried couple soon comes bursting into the infirmary to see him. It is revealed that they are some of the students that he trained and are close to in the military. They inform him that he’s been in a coma for a while and Newtralizer has escaped and he’s been missing ever since the fight, theorizing that he's in hiding. Sal Commander vows that because of his loss to him he will find him and reclaim his honor by turning him in and receiving justice for his crimes.

After some small talk the woman tells Sal that they want him to meet someone. Hiding behind the Salamandrian woman we see a little 5 year old Salamandrian girl, holding on tight to her mother's tail. Sal discovers that his two dear students and friends got married and now have a child of their own. The couple lift their daughter up and have her sit on the bed, having her face to face with Sal. She’s obviously nervous and a little scared from all of his scars but Sal assures there’s nothing to be afraid of. The little girl begins to warm up to him and Sal asks her for her name. The little girl shyly says her name is Y’Gythgba, and with that we learn that this is how Sal Commander and Mona Lisa first met. They share a sweet moment as it cuts to the intro.

After the intro we are now in the present day. We see Newtralizer return, zapping through the New York outlets and electric poles, revealing he now has electric powers. He monologs to himself how he has finally mastered this new ability and vows to destroy everyone who has wronged him: Sal Commander, the Utrom, the Turtles, and even Slash.

We then go to Salamandria to see present day Mona Lisa, now nineteen, and Sal Commander, older and scars fully healed. We learn through their conversations that Salamandria is healing after another invasion from Lord Dregg. During their conversation we discover that Mona’s parents left her under Sal’s care while they went to war against the Triceratons, but they never returned, signifying that they were killed in battle. (Finally giving Mona backstory!)

During this time we learn a little about Mona’s life on her planet, constantly training or working, never having a break or a chance to just relax and act her age, but instead has to grow up quickly and act mature. We get the idea that she’s starting to get bored of her life and wants to do something fun. We see moments where the men on her planet make advances at her but she doesn’t give them the time of day. We see the females spread rumors about her, showing that she doesn’t really have any friends, for word has spread that she’s been wooed by “some lowlife being from an uncharted disgraceful planet” and that her relationship with this guy was the reason for Dregg’s invasion in the first place (referencing back to the Evil of Dregg episode)

That’s when Mona and Sal are called in to see the head general who informs them that after fourteen years Newtralizer has finally come out of hiding and has been spotted on a worthless planet called Earth.

Cue Mona thinking of Raph doing push ups.

While Mona continues day dreaming, Sal Commander is assigned to go to Earth and capture Newtrailzer and bring him back so he can face his long awaited trial for his crimes. Sal agrees and heads off to his ship, bringing Mona along with him as backup. In the ship Mona, trying not to be too obvious, suggests that since they are going to Earth they should contact the turtles and ask for their assistance in their mission. Sal doesn’t want them to get involved in dangerous tasks, but Mona convinces him that with their help they can easily take him down. Knowing that secretly her real reason is to just see Raphael again, Sal agrees.

We then finally go to Earth, finding Raph watching Spaceheroes: The Next Generation with Leo. After watching the main hero, Captain Ryan, lose the woman he loves we see Raph have sympathy for him, silently showing us that he understands that pain. Leo however shrugs if off, saying Captain Ryan will get over it, but Raph gets angry and storms off to find something else to do, calling the show stupid.

He goes to see if Donnie wants to hang out, but Donnie is hanging out with April in his lab, working on a new science project together, but there more focused on training than working. He tries calling Casey, but he tells him he’s got a “hot date”. Then Raph goes to Mikey’s room to see if he wants to hang out, but Mikey is busy chatting with Renet via holograms.

It's when Raph overhears Mikey say that him and Renet are now in a long distance relationship, that’s what gets to him. Raph storms off to his room. To take out his frustration we see Raph play with his drum set. After he’s done, Raph starts to rant to Chompy, making fun of his brothers for being lovey dovey with the girls. That’s when Raph gives his lone wolf speech and how he doesn’t need love or romance in his life, but before he finishes his false claim, his old space helmet begins to buzz. Raph gets the call from Mona and tells him that her and her commander are coming to Earth for a mission and need their help. Raph gets excited and runs into the door just like in the episode.

We then get a moment of Raph calling his brothers, April, and Karai (who is now at the lair stopping by for a visit) in the main room of the lair where he excitedly explains to them that Mona (and Sal) are coming to Earth. Raph explains that Mona sent him the coordinate to where and when they’ll be landing and that they need to meet them there. April and Mikey have a fanboy/girl moment, happy their OTP is reuniting. Karai, confused, looks at Leo and asks him “Who’s Mona Lisa?”. Leo smiles and jokingly but also seriously says “Raph’s girlfriend,” and walks away leaving Karai with a shocked look on his face. The scene ends seeing the team leaving the lair as April and Mikey continue their freak out, Raph freshens himself up to look good for his lady, as Karai screams, “Why did no one tell me my brother has a girlfriend?!?!”

We then get a short moment of seeing the Utrom living a happy peaceful life, for they have reclaimed Dimension X as their home. The happy moment is interrupted by Newtrailzer who begins attacking the Utrom. We see the Utrom council watching this occur through and screen and worry for their people, wondering what they should do. That is when another alarm goes off informing them that more Salamadrians are entering the Milky Way Galaxy and are heading towards Earth. The Queen, worried that they are a hostel like Newtailzer, sends Bishop to capture these other Salamadrians and see what they want, for they already have one Salamandrian problem and they don’t need another.

We go back and the episode goes similar from there. Raph and Mona reunite, the team splits up to find Newtrailzer, Raph and Mona shortly catch up (with an added bonus of Raph bringing his flirt on and more focused on Mona then the actually mission), Bishop joins the fight, but then things get different. After the team escapes Newtrailzer and hides out in the Utom base they don’t get attacked by Newtrailzer like in the episode. Instead the council gives the team the weapon that can stop Newtralizer and absorb his powers. During their conversion to devise a plan the council suggests they need more reinforcements. Raph then comes up with an idea, knowing the perfect person to help take down Newtralizer.

With their new weapon, the team heads to the Mighty Mutanimals lair, where we find Casey and Shini also hanging out with them. Sal and Mona meet Slash and his team. Mikey introduces his friends to Sal, while Raph introduces Mona to Slash. Slash makes a comment that Raph has told him about Mona countless times, embarrassing Raph slightly. After a mini moment of Mondo Gecko trying (and failing) at making a move on Mona, Raph explains to Slash that Newtrailzer is back and they need his help since he knows more about him then the turtles do, for he was once his partner. Sal has a moment with Slash, like a “I understand what you went through” kind of moment. Slash agrees to help while the rest of the mighty mutanimals, Casey, and Shini, agree to help as well.

The fight goes similarly, just with the inclusion of the Mighty Mutanimals, Casey, and Shini. We then get the moment where everyone splits up and Raph and Mona are alone together again. This is when they have their conversation about Mona staying on earth after the battle is over. Mona declines and tells him that her job is to fight for glory and honor as a Salamandrian. Raph tries to convince her by telling her that she can fight on earth and how there's so much for her on his planet. Mona begins to feel unsure. Raph then hits Mona with how he’s been feeling about their long distances relationship. He tells her he doesn’t want to keep living in wonder if he'll ever see her again or not. That he wants to be with her and not keep going with a fear that one day they never see one another again. Mona tells Raph that she does care about him, it's just that who they are and where they’re both from makes this so difficult, so them just being together is a risk. Raph tells Mona he’s willing to take that risk to be with her. Before Mona could say anything, Newtrailzer makes another appearance and begins fighting the turtles and mutanimals so Raph and Mona need to help the others, but before they do, Raph grabs Mona’s hand and looks at her. He asks her if she could at least think about his offer. Mona agrees.

They all fight Newtrailzer but then the power in New York goes out. It is discovered that Lord Dregg is here and has teamed up with Newtrailzer to invade Earth. Dregg's ship lands as Newtralizer teleports inside the ship.

The turtles and friends look on to Dregg’s ship to the two villains eviling looking down at them, but they weren't alone. Dregg and Newtrailzer had a third ally, a little shorter than them as his eyes glowed an evil orange. The team couldn’t make out who it was at first. The third ally jumped off the ship and perfectly landed to the ground in front of the turtles.

The turtles, April, Casey, Mona, and Sal look at Dregg's new ally in a heartbroken shock. It was Fugitoid, now run down with missing parts of his robot body replaced with dark rusty metal patches. His eyes no longer glowed a bright blue but a dark orange.

Fugitoid gives them all an evil grin asking them if they missed him. Fugitoid explains that it is their fault that he’s like this, accusing the turtles of abandoning him and leaving him to die, using him just to destroy the black hole generator. The turtles are confused for that is not what happened. They try to get through to him but he doesn’t listen. Fugitoid begins to attack them while taunting the turtles, April, Casey, and the Salamandrians. Fugitoid takes them down practically effortlessly as Dregg and Newtrailzer watch in amusement, calling him their “new toy” and Dregg mentions he’s glad he “fixed and kept him”.

Donnie then puts the pieces together and figures out that Dregg must've found Fugitoid’s pieces after he was blown up to destroy the black hole generator (back in season 4), put him back together, and rebooted him and his memories to believe that the turtles and friends are the bad guys. Newtrailzer does one final lighting attack throwing multiple shots at our heroes and as everyone runs for cover, the lighting hits Raphael. He screams in agony as he fades from existence.

Everyone screams and cries for the fall of their friend as the three turtles cry for the “death” of their brother. Full of rage for hurting her love, Mona Lisa draws her sword and attacks Newtrailzer with all her might. We get a quick Mona vs Newtrailzer fight (with it being a parallel to the Raph vs Dregg fight when he hurt Mona).

Soon however, Newtrailzer beats Mona and Sal rushes in to protect her, as Mikey uses the Utrom weapon on Newtralizer, Sal orders her to run with the others somewhere safe. There is no time for goodbyes. Dregg sends down his insect army and starts his invasion. As Newtrailzer, frees himself from the weapons hold and grabs Sal Commander as hostage, Dregg’s minions capture Leonardo and the mighty mutanimals, except for Slash. With one fallen and some captured, the team retreats as Dreg takes over the city.

That’s all I got right now. I hope you enjoyed the first half of my When Worlds Collide rewrite. (Btw I am gonna do this with every arc in season 5 cause that season in my opinion was an entire mess)
