Captain’s Log
Stardate 2024.03.06
Day 21
It’s a soggy day.  The humidity is 64% which means hanging clothes to dry is mission impossible.  I’m feeling somewhat scattered this morning, and the boys are as well.  Simon just said, “I’m sick of just looking at the screen.  I want to write something on paper or look at the board.”
I understand the complaint, but I’m not sure what to do about it.  I know that whenever I try to “teach” my children anything, it becomes a game to see who can exhaust my patience faster.  Aside from photography, lessons with daddy quickly catch fire and enter a tailspin of bad feelings for everyone.  Maybe we will try the art museum this afternoon and see how that goes.
No leads on my future direction and no photo sales yet, even at the discounted price.  Not sure if that means people don’t need art as much as they need a Big Mac or if I am just not good at marketing.  I’m trying to appeal to people’s desire to support something uplifting on social media, but it seems like that is not an effective motivator.  Hard to compete with videos of buxom young women testing the physics of amusement park rides.  Sigh.
I’m reading Entreleadership at the moment, and I love Dave Ramsey’s idea of a momentum theorem. His idea is that Focused integrity over Time, multiplied by God equals unstoppable Momentum.  I hope he’s right because I’m pushing, but right now my business is displaying inertia more than anything.

Stepping into Physics: Unraveling the Science of Walking
Photo by Lukas Hartmann on Pexels.com Hello everyone! I’m back with another blog, and this time, I’ve got an intriguing question for you. Physics isn’t just a complex field confined to cosmic entities or quantum systems; it’s all around us in our everyday lives. Once you start seeing it, you’ll realize the beauty and fascination of this field. Today’s question might seem simple at first glance:…

Newton's Laws of Motion
1) "An object will not change its motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force."
A body remains at rest, or in motion at a constant speed in a straight line, except insofar as it is acted upon by a force.
2) "Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration."
The net force on a body is equal to the body's acceleration multiplied by its mass or, equivalently, the rate at which the body's momentum changes with time.
3) "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction"
If two bodies exert forces on each other, these forces have the same magnitude but opposite directions.

Newton’s Four Laws of Motion
Space rat All of us who stayed awake in high-school learned about Newton’s Four Laws of Motion. They are: 1) A body at rest remains at rest, or if in motion stays in motion at a constant speed in a straight line, unless acted upon by a force or Forest Gump. 2) When a body–or thing, it could be a beach ball or an intergalactic rat–is acted upon by a force, the rate of change of its momentum equals…

Newton’s 3rd Law of Feral Munitions
That's not the sky falling, but it might as well be.
Space junk, stray bullets, and projected psychoses, what goes up must come down. That’s not the sky falling, but it might as well be. The realization of guilt or the materialization of recourse, where feelings, logic, and reality intersect and disagree, you’ll find sadness and anger. In this place, only one emotion truly exists, the other is a fabricated means of self-defense and only begets…

My parents and I were talking about our Bar admissions, for some reason, and they'd both forgotten that my motion for admission, put forward by my brother (also a lawyer) began, "My sister has many issues, but the one before the Court today is that of her admission to the State Bar."
Start as you mean to go on, I guess.

flying or high jumping is a common discussion with the jedi but i fully believe jedi have the capability to fly and also stick to walls like spiderman
let me explain
to fly a jedi would stand with their palms facing the ground, iron man style, and push the planet away from themselves as hard as they can
the planet would be WAY too heavy to move but there's still force pushing so they would go flying upwards
i guess it wouldn't be flying as much as it is keeping themselves from falling by continuously pushing the planet away but they'd probably move pretty fast if they pushed at an angle and basically jumped mid air
double jump but with the force
now, sticking to walls
the only way for it to work the wall, or any big object, would have to be very sturdy and heavier than the jedi can move. the jedi would stand in front of the wall and pull the wall towards themselves
again, it would be too heavy for themselves to actually move it so they would get pulled towards it
and as long as they continue to pull the wall towards themselves, they'd be able to scale it
and i guess this wouldn't be sticking as much as... suctioning(?) themselves to the wall
i know that's already kind of done in jedi fallen order and jedi survivor when cal does the wall run so it's not a far stretch
and it could even work the other way, they could get away from a dangerous situation by jumping out a window or something and push the entire building away from them so they shoot far away and then push against the planet less and less until they get down to the ground slowly and relatively safely

hey like. can you force crush air and create a blackhole. like. you can force crush droids and people and ships etc. but could you -- if you were so inclined and also a space wizard -- just force compress a bit of air and make 1) a suddenly appearing vacuum/blackhole 2)whatever happens when you implode Local Planet's Air (explosion, it's probably explosion).
like. I don't physics. but also. are there clone wars moments where a jedi is alone on a battle field except for A Shit Load Of Droids and they're just like. zhoop sonic boom takes out the droids and surrounding area, clean up is fragments of metal for the surrounding nine thousand square space km.
