Marvel Team-Up #74 (Claremont/Hall, Oct 1978). Live from New York…! Pete takes MJ to a taping of SNL, but — like the Beatles’ movie Help! — one of the cast receives a special ring in the mail and it gets stuck on his finger. The Silver Samurai crashes 30 Rock to reclaim his jewelry. This was really adorable and featured some great cameos.

Ok I’ll say it. They fucking pretty-washed the whole cast. Like I’m not gonna pass any definitive judgements before I actually see the movie but. I mean.
Maybe it’s just these headshots but I do not see it. Hair and makeup better imperfection these folks up!
Honestly, my only real fear is that the trend-hopping, tik-toking little bastards of my generation will get ahold of this movie and generate some dumbass discourse about it. Time will tell.

A fun new thing I did for @danagould: a live reading of I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE with Maria Bamford, Bobcat a Goldthwait, Laraine Newman, Jonah Ray, Janet Varney and Gary Anthony Williams at Largo in Los Angeles. Go see it!

They just announced the Gilda, Jane, and Laraine casting which means it shouldn’t be too long before they announce John and Dan casting.
I’m NERVOUS.

This gives me so much serotonin. I love this show (the whole Oz franchise, really!) and cast sm! 🥹🙏🏻💜💚
✨🌈🌪️👠🧠❤️🎖️✨
I love how Bill just towers over everyone 💀
The voice actors:
(Front, left to right)
Laraine Newman (the Wicked Witch of the West)
Jessica DiCicco (Wilhelmina and Patchwork Girl)
Kari Wahlgren (Dorothy and Queen Ozma)
(Back, left to right)
Tom Kenny (Wizard)
JP Karliak (Tin Man, Woozy, the Nome King and Jack Pumpkinhead)
Steve Blum (Frank)
Jess Harnell (Lion and Lyman)
Bill Fagerbakke (Scarecrow and the mayor of Munchkinland)
and I think that's either a producer, writer or voice director behind Jessica. 🤔 Unfortunately, Grey DeLisle (Glinda the Good Witch and her twin sis, Melinda the Mean) isn't pictured. 🙁
Fun fact: Scarecrow's and Wizard's voice actors, Bill Fagerbakke and Tom Kenny, worked together before-and still do! They were the voices of Patrick Star and his bestie, Spongebob Squarepants, respectively!

chriscolfer: I’m late posting this BUT I am so beyond proud of my friend @/KathyGriffin. She has been through hell and back and can still make an enormous theater scream with laughter like no one else I’ve ever seen. I love you KG! ❤️ (PS - I did not photoshop myself into the second picture.) [posted Oct 20, 2023]
