Hickory the shiny Arboliva is the latest addition to my Pokésona’s team. He is an older specimen, hence why his crown, arms and collar has more leaves.

He is reserved yet gentle, usually seen by himself or near Lynn. He is quite smitten with her Leavanny, Wildvine, though.

Hickory began offering the Nurturing Pokémon some of his special, nutritious oil while he’s either hard at work repairing Lynn’s clothes or looking after her smaller and younger Pokémon. Hickory assists as he’s also a great caretaker, sharing his oil with them, as well.

To repay the Olive Pokémon’s generosity, Wildvine made Hickory a cloak befitting his regal visage, complete with an ivory clasp he crafted from a naturally shed baby tusk of a Donphan.

To say Hickory was flattered would be an understatement.

First art done on my new laptop. I gave up on the background, but love how the leaf dads came out. Tried something different with the lineart, which thankfully worked well for this.

do you think scorbunny's evolution line makes sense because scorbunny starts as a kid learning soccer, raboot becomes an athlete, and cinderace becomes a soccer player?

I may be biased because the Scorbunny line is my fave and absolute perfection to me. So yes, it makes a lot of sense!

how Pokémon Scarlet going for you

I have Violet and it went well. I beat it days after I got it. I’ve been doing shiny hunts in it as well, with much success.

It was hard choosing between Sprigatito and Quaxly, because I love Meowscarada and Quaquaval. In the end I went with Sprigatito because I love cats more.

Dorothy is so tiny, Scarecrow and Tin Man fear losing her. 🥺

Two balloons might not actually be able to lift anyone, let alone an 8-year old, but since this IS Oz, all logic yeets out the window. 💀

An Instagram video with a similar idea, a husband and wife inspired this. 😆

I began the drawing back in May or June and am relieved to finally have finished it. I’m proud with how it came out, but Arceus, was I beginning to tire of seeing it.

If there are any mistakes-I’ve already noticed a few that I didn’t catch in the line art phase-oh well. 💀

At first I was proud of how Scarecrow, Dorothy and Tin Man came out, but now I’m not too sure about Tinny. I might redesign him a little next time I draw him. I also need to shrink Dorothy’s head; didn’t mean to make her forehead look so large, something I only caught during the coloring phase.

For Tinny’s and Scary’s designs, I combined aspects from Ray Bolger’s and Jack Haley’s versions of Scarecrow and Tin Man along with their 1986 and 2017 animated designs. Scarecrow’s adorable elf ears were inspired by an Instagram friend’s amazing interpretation of the lanky straw man! Tinny’s “boots” were also inspired by his Tin Man!

Dorothy’s design is mostly based off her 2017 design, just in my style. For their eye colors, I used the 1939 movie characters’ eye colors. Except Tin Man. Jack Haley had blue eyes, but I gave my Tinny green eyes. I didn’t want him to have the same color as Dorothy or Scarecrow. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this episode sm; it combined my fave Oz characters with my love of cats, which might be quite apparent due to my excitement. It was purr-fection! 😭🙏🏻

I can't get over how ADORABLE each of their cat forms are and the little traits they have from their original forms! Scary is so skrunkly; I LOVE his crooked whiskers and scraggly tail! Also Dorothy's tiny Ruby Slippers and pigtails along with Tinny's tiny eyelashes and bowtie! Also Lion's mini mane! SO CUTE! 🥹

IMPORTANT UPDATE❗️❗️❗️❗️😭🙏🏻

Sorry I’m being annoying about this but omg, two of my fave VAs who voiced their characters I drew, loved this and also complimented me. This is a huge deal to me, especially after I had another depressive episode yesterday. This is what I needed. 🥺 Casey voiced Scorbunny, Raboot and Cinderace on Pokémon: Journeys/Master Journeys/Ultimate Journeys along with Chrysa, Allister in Pokémon: Twilight Wings and Goh's Raichu! I've been a huge fan of his since I started watching the series! They were also Sandboy in Miraculous Ladybug!

Distracted fire soccer-buuny burns down Oz. 💀

My 2nd fave Oz character after Scarecrow, Tin Man (voiced by JP Karliak), with my fave Pokémon, Cinderace (voiced by Casey Mongillo)! 😊

I loved drawing Tinny; it was like drawing Superactivated Robotboy! Bulky metal bois.

Cinderace became so interested in Tin Man's heart ticker that he completely forgot about his Pyro Ball that he was kicking around prior to their meeting. 💀

This was also my first time drawing Tin Man from Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz! And my 8th time drawing Cinderace. 🗿

I included the sketch and line art (done in Adobe Illustrator; coloring was done in Photoshop)! I'm really pleased and proud of how each phase of this pic turned out. 😭🙏🏻

This was an enjoyable crossover to do of 2 of my fave shows! I'd love to also draw Cinderace meeting Scarecrow!😊
