i also included a made-up school called amanita - basically between foxfire and exillium, it's a non noble school for those who are still fit for society. Turns out a lot more of the elvin population is talentless and/or bad match! but you never get to see any of them. and the nobility makes it sound like the worst thing in the world

So you know how it implies in Everblaze that Bronte went to Foxfire, but says in one of the other books that Foxfire only began three thousand years ago? (Bronte is at least two thousand years older, and I headcanon him as much, much older than Foxfire but that's not the point)

But what if that was just school!Foxfire?

What I'm trying to say is: ✨Foxfire University✨

It might have had a different name. It would have all kinds of students studying sciences and languages and history and the nature of different abilities and other stuff. People would join after doing an apprenticeship with someone who shared their ability and after an entrance exam. And also after getting a basic education from their family or a tutor or whatever. There would be ability guilds (Maybe Fintan and the pyrokinetics involved in the Everblaze disaster were part of the pyrokinesis one) as well as other guilds and groups (like illusionists and crystal makers and ability philosophers and what have you).
