Korekiyo Shinguuji:

• "woah, wait, these are the roses i've been wanting for so long... thanks, i guess? ... don't look at me right now!" despite her annoyed tone, there's a massive smile plastered on her face as she tries to avoid eye contact with you

Kirumi Tojo:

• "i... i'm speechless. i'm thankful that you love me so much as to grace me with something so beautiful" she smiles from her eyes and immediately gets to placing it in a glass vase, ensuring its well taken care of

Ryoma Hoshi:

• "huh.. i'm not the 'flowery' type. go return these for some cash and buy yourself something nice instead. you want me to keep these? because you love me.. man. i don't deserve you..." you hold him as he melts in your arms. the expression on his face tells you that he really needs it

Gonta Gokuhara:

• "PRETTY FLOWERS.. for gonta? to keep???" he grabs them with such excitement that one falls from the bundle, plucking one out to give it a strong sniff

Kiibo:

• "i'm not sure if i know what to do with these, but since you're giving them to me, they're special nonetheless. i... appreciate it!" he holds them out in front of him with a solid foot of distance and examines the petals with care

Tenko Chabashira:

• "no way!! this is the nicest thing that's happened to me..." she gasps in awe and holds the flowers with both hands, blushing profusely at the ground to avoid your gaze

-He is certainly touch-staved as well.

-That being said, he hates when people touch him. Strangers at least, unless it's something pertaining to anthropology.

-It's also very likely his sister harmed him physically, and getting touched brings back unwanted memories of the hospital she was at.

-His sister once more makes it difficult to engage in physical contact with someone again.

-Once you both start warming up to touches, he's super hesitant but quickly adapts to your body.

-When cuddling he pets the back of your head with his other hand on your outer thigh or hip.

-The mans is tall so he'll probably hug you with his hands around your head or shoulders.

-If you are somehow about the same height or taller, he rests his hands around your waist before pulling closer.

-The fact you get flustered easily makes him want to do it even more.

-Just slight touches such as his hand lightly caressing your chin or (if it can be done) tucking hair behind your ear.

-Overall, he loves these moments of touch and comfort.

Part 1 of Danganronpa pairs whose vibes would make a V3 kid

This first batch I feel has the most going for it. I could probably write you multiple essays on why these V3 characters just feel like the embodiment of the parents I assigned them. Part 2 is gonna be more of a stretch...

BTW I don't really ship Kazuichi/Hiyoko, Nagito/Mikan, Imposter/Hifumi or Gundham/Chiaki but the vibes are immaculate.

A Pile Of Canon Divergent Danganronpa Headcanons:

The students absolutely did not get along when they first enrolled, they were all legit getting on each others' nerves and every other day was a shouting match.

Byakuya doesn't mind Ultimate Impostor's presence most of the time, but there have been times when he was seriously creeped out by Impostor.

After they adopted Kotoko, Hifumi collected all his loli/shotacon and invited Kotoko to help him burn it. Seeing the damage adults did to Kotoko has him rethinking his tastes in manga altogether.

If Kiyotaka catches anyone running in the halls he will drag them to that person's starting point and make them walk back to their destination.

When Gonta inevitably found out that Hiyoko liked squishing ants, he sat her in front of the biggest anthill he could find and unloaded ant facts on her. This bored the habit right out of Hiyoko.

Everyone has accidentally locked themselves out of the school at least once.

Over time, everyone noticed that Mikan was tripping over less and less. Though she attributes it to learning balance from Sakura, she subconsciously knows it's because she doesn't need the attention anymore.

Mikan wants to cure Nagito's terminal illnesses, but fears that Nagito's luck would kill him if she does so.

Mikan cares deeply for the Warriors of Hope, and is a key player in their rehabilitation.

The virtual Jabberwock Island from Danganronpa S is still there...but the students actually built it to get away from their oppressive dickhead superiors that they hate. It has the 50 day summer camp mode for all of them, or a solo mode for anyone to set a specific amount of time within the virtual world to unwind.

[Very slowly lays hand on Masaru's head as to not trigger his trauma of being slapped] This boy can fit so many cuddles and kisses.

Jataro won't just let you hug him, the little mf will let you s q u i s h him into your body with all your love and might. As long as he can still breathe he will be happy and let you hold him.

Kirumi cracks pretty easy under stress. She doesn't lash out at everyone so much as she curls up against the nearest wall and rocks herself.

Don't ask Kirumi to reenact Jackass with you, or she will absolutely overcomplicate the assignment and seriously injure herself. She does not comprehend physical comedy, much less the line where physical comedy becomes everyone around her fearing for her life.

Ryota straight up lives in the walls along with the balding Monokuma from V3. Junko and Ultimate Impostor are the only ones who know, but neither of them have been successful at getting Ryota out of his shell.

Korekiyo has been given an intervention by all the girls at Hope's Peak. It ended with eight hours of group hugging. Korekiyo is feeling better now.

Korekiyo and Kirumi have routinely fought over the air conditioning.

Masaru will bite anyone at least once, but for reasons only known to himself, he likes biting clowns the most. He will hunt down any clown that appears in his field of vision and not stop until he gets a bite.

If Gonta finds any insect traps or insecticides, he throws them down the garbage chute.

Hajime is still Izuru, but it's an open secret. His classmates love him no matter what his identity is. <3

Reserve Course students weren't so chill about Izuru, however-they wanted Jin Kirigiri's BLOOD. And the Ultimates just kinda let them do it for treating their friend as a lab rat.

One winter when the heater broke everyone slept together in the gym until it was fixed. We're talking a pile of blankets that was three feet thick.

They legit would not trade each other for the world except for Kokichi and even then Suichi would still be sad about it

Mahiru doesn't like taking pictures of Ryoma because his weirdly large eyes reflect all the light and the result always looks terrifying.

Someone kept leaving a stuffed toy clown in random places around the school...until they adopted Masaru and he promptly bit the shit out of it.

Ibuki tried playing from the rooftop once. It took 8 hours to find her, 4 hours to coax her down, and 2 hours to soothe her afterwards.

Nanokumas like to move things around when nobody's looking.

All Ultimates are prone to getting the zoomies. It ranges from Leon running around in circles to Sakura almost leveling the school.

Reserve Course students like to observe the Ultimates because Ultimates are all stupid fucking dorks and watching them accidentally stir up chaos is great entertainment.

Hope Fragments appear when a student feels their happiest. It forms within the body and gets hacked up like a hairball.

Gonta routinely has nightmares about being caught in a venus flytrap.

Fuyuhiko has become aware of Yasuhiro's debt to his family, and holds it over his head.

Peko wonders if her parents know about her becoming an Ultimate.

Junko is trying really, really hard to feign apathy towards her classmates in the name of Despair, but no one buys it.

Mukuro and Peko like to spar together, and they're pretty evenly matched.

Miu is soft (by Miu standards) towards Chihiro.

Miu becomes very anxious and needy at the mere thought of graduating from Hope's Peak and moving away from her friends.

He really likes the way it smells.

He will ask you about your day. Not just to make small talk, he really wants to know!

Tell him stories or ask about his day in return and he will smile so wide.

Kiibo

He's a robot, so you probably don't need to put anything on his face. It may damage the metal!

But he will keep you company, if you'd like!

He will offer you suggestions on other things you can do to relax.

"Candles offer a relaxing atmosphere. You may also take a warm bath or get a massage!"

Will probably offer a massage, despite being made of metal.

Surprisingly does a really good job, tho.

Korekiyo Shinguji

Speaking of massages,,

This man is a massage GOD.

He somehow gets knots loose that you didn't even know were there in the first place.

He delicately applies the peeling mask to your face, leaning in extra close to make sure he gets it all.

Chuckles when you blush from the close proximity.

Will also braid your hair. If you have short hair, he gently brushes it for you.

This man knows about self care.

Rantaro Amami

He's so good at this.

If you ask him to paint your nails, he will light up. He would love to!!

Especially if you're nervous/embarrassed. He adores when you're flustered.

You're just so cute~

He will tease the living shit out of you.

He will also do face masks with you!

When you tell him you need a self-care day, he absolutely takes it seriously.

You two listen to quiet music and talk about your talent, his adventures, media you like, anything and everything.

Kokichi Ouma

First of all, why would you think this is a good idea?

Self care and this little gremlin do not mix. Self care is supposed to be calm and relaxing, and Ouma is, well, the exact opposite of that.

I think the best thing he can do for you on self care days is just... leave you alone, to be honest.

But if he's around, here's what he'll do:

He asks about everything you do. What it is, why you use it, what does it do, can he try it?

Tells you that you look funny with a face mask on, then asks if he can use some, too.

Wants to put on a sheet mask and hide somewhere to scare Gonta.

You have to keep him from doing that.

tags: minor hint at his past, korekiyo has issues with being touched by people, established relationship, comfort

korekiyo is a loner, who's having a hard time making friends with similar interests as him

even if it wasn't for his interests that are a bit odd for a boy his age, his looks aren't helping him much either

he's always wearing a surgical mask and gloves and he can't get himself to get his hair cut

yet somehow you didn't seem to mind all those things!

korekiyo was happy that he found someone who treated him normal and even happier when that someone wanted him to be their boyfriend

once in a relationship with korekiyo, you start to learn more about him and why he is the way he is

he's doesn't like being too close to other people, nor does he like being touched by them, after some bad experiences he had in his life

the gloves prevent him from having to have skin to skin contact with other people, while his mask is mostly there to make him feel more comfortable

it takes korekiyo a while until he starts to hold hands with you and it takes him even longer until he takes the gloves of for the first time

after a while though, he doesn't mind holding your hands without gloves anymore, having grown used to your hands intertwined with his and the warmth emerging from them

he even starts to enjoy being this close to you…

he'll still keep on his mask for most of the times though, only pulling it down when he wants to kiss you and pulling it back up right after

in regards to his hair, you are the only one who gets to cut it! he doesn't want other people touching you and he doesn't mind if you're bad at cutting his hair – the act alone matters!

but, one of the ways she would still serve you is by reading you books aloud

she's excellent at picking out books that you like, she always carefully chooses the next one based on the things she hears you say you like

this particular night you were exhausted, and so kirumi and you were side by side in bed

you were cuddled up into her side, so you could see the book as she read it out to you

but, you found that you just couldn't keep your eyes open

the soft pillows and warmth of kirumi's body lulled you to sleep

it took a while for her to notice that she was reading aloud to your sleeping form, and when she did a frown spread across her face

she thought to herself, did i fail to choose a book that would pique s/o's interests?

she wouldn't stop thinking about that for the rest of the night

to make it up to you, she got out of bed, tucked you in tight, and pressed a kiss to your head

then she headed to the kitchen to prepare a massive breakfast to surprise you when you woke up

reading is kyoko's favorite hobby, and it's always the thing she looks forward to most, especially since the two of you always do it together

most of the time kyoko is only able to read at night, or after work, which isn't the most convenient on nights like this when you're exhausted

the two of you would sit on a couch, with hot chocolate, tea, or coffee, and share a blanket

the two of you were reading your books one night, when kyoko heard a soft thud

you had fallen asleep sitting up, and dropped your book

luckily, kyoko remembered close to what page you were on, so after she picked up your book and slid the bookmark on the right page, she adjusted you so your head was on her lap

after removing her gloves and tossing them away, she tucked your hair behind your ears and picked her book back up

reading with one hand, she used her other to massage your shoulders

the two of you have this thing where you read the same book independently and come together to talk about it

today was your weekly meetup to discuss the previous chapter

you were cozy on the couch, shoulder to shoulder, with your books open

it was kiyo's turn to share his thoughts on the chapter and you laid your head on his shoulder as he spoke

"the thing i really liked most about the chapter was that the symbolization of the main character's locket really-"

mid sentence, he noticed that your eyes were closed

he stopped talking, and leaned close to the side of your face

"was i that boring? you owe me your ears when you wake up," he whispered

stroking your hair with one hand and moving your book from your lap to the table with the other

he gently adjusted your position so you were now laying in his lap, and rested a hand on your face

maki isn't much of a reader so she'll sit with you while you read yours, and follow along

she reads pretty fast for a person who isn't even a fan of books

when it took you too long to turn a page, she lifted her head up from your shoulder

"s/o, are you done with that page?"

she looked up at you to see your head leaned back against the couch, your eyes closed

wordlessly, maki took the book and closed it on a table, before settling back into your side

a blush spread across her cheeks as she slithered an arm around yours and closed her eyes, sleeping alongside you

it actually woke you up the way that she held onto you so tight, but the sight was too cute that you had to just sit there

Kaede Akamatsu - Words of Affirmation

Being a living personification of optimism, Kaede is always there to reassure you and cheer you up. Even at your darkest moments she will be there to pull you out and into the light. If you don't want help and just want support, she won't hesitate to just hold you and listen. She cares about your mental health a lot, especially since she knows how it feels. When Kaede is trying to boost your mood, she is commonly complimenting you. Sometimes it can get off track and she'll derail into making comments about your body (especially if you got big boobs or ass. Shuichi said it best, she can sound like a pervy old man sometimes). But hey, it boosts your confidence! And that's what she wants more than anything

Shuichi Saihara - Quality Time

Shuichi wasn't one with high self-esteem or confidence, so when you asked him out it took him a day to fully process it. Sure he's been crushing on you for a long time, but what if he can't be a good boyfriend? At the start of your relationship he will definitely be a bit awkward and nervous. The longer you guys are together though, he will gain confidence in both himself and your relationship. He will still be very subdued and bashful, but isn't afraid to show affection in public. In fact, Shuichi loves to stay by your side throughout the day. It will be every other day, as some days he needs alone time to recharge and relax, and you're happy to oblige! When he does feel the desire for companionship he will openly seek you out and ask if you could spend the day together

Angie Yonaga - Gift Giving

Atua will always be number one in her heart, but you are a close second! She talks so positively about you to anyone she can. She's got nothing to hide. Being the Ultimate Artist, Angie's specialty is making gifts and art for you. Paintings, statues, wood carvings, it's all for you. To add her own little spice, she likes to bless every creation with the protection of Atua. It's up to debate whether this counts as a gift or not, but every day she prays to Atua to look upon you and keep you safe. In her eyes, she is giving the gift of love and protection from her god, she is praying for your own good. Yeah it's a bit weird, but she's so cute it's hard to get upset

Gonta Gokuhara - Acts of Service

O h my ggod?? Gentleman, sweetie, baby, precious, a present from god. These are many words to describe Gonta, and it's never made more clear than when you date. He already was very gentle and protective of you, but when you get in a relationship he takes it more seriously. He protects you and treats you as if you were breakable. Think of yourself as a rare beetle! If he deems the terrain as dangerous, he resorts to craddling you in his arms and carrying you. As a true Gentleman, Gonta is incredibly courteous and polite, holding open doors for you and being as respectful as possible. And if you ask him to do anything he will happily do it for you (well, except hurt a bug). Whenever he does something that upsets you, or something he percives as rude, he does tend to freak out. He'll need a lot of reassurance. And just... please show Gonta physical affection too. Hold his hand, run your fingers through his hair, make him feel as loved as possible. He deserves it

Himiko Yumeno - Quality Time

Himiko wasn't really interested in relationships, she never felt a real attraction to anyone. Even Tenko and Angie she saw more as friends than love interests. In your first interactions she felt the same about you, but then oddly felt herself become more attached. Suddenly she was following you around and constantly trying to show you her magic. Whenever you were seperated she tended to think about you a lot. Himiko still can't fully comprehend why your relationship was different from all the others, but she isn't complaining in the slightest. You bring such peace to her heart and it's so refreshing. Any issues you have he will want to hear and help with. Even if you tell him you just want someone to listen, he is gonna listen soooooo hard. The best part is that he's well grounded as well. Kaito isn't afraid to voice his true opinions and always gives it to you straight. He feels like lying ruins a relationship. The only thing he ever hid from you was his illness, and that was discovered fairly quickly. It hurts to see him put you over his own health, but Kaito will always do it with no hesitation. She is a maid, her life's goal is to serve. Whether it's her boss, friends, or lovers, Kirumi aims to please. With you she takes care of you well. Your house will always be clean, hot meals served to you daily, and if you need help with your hobbies she will learn as much as she can to assist. To be honest you tend to feel bad a lot. Despite your insistance for her to take a break, Kirumi refuses. It may seem like she's just a worker of sorts, but she has self respect and refuses to be treated as such. When she cares for you, it's out of love and care, not obligation. But sometimes, if you do something for her instead, you can catch her starting to tear up. Kirumi will try to reprimand you, but will eventually drop her professionalism and just embrace you lovingly

Piece of SHIT gremlin dear LORD I love him. Sure Hiyoko was a handful, but with Kokichi it's even more apparent. He's a trickster through and through, and just because you're dating doesn't mean he's gonna ease up on it. They will probably be less intense and more playful most of the time, and the name calling will be more cheeky rather than insulting. But you are not gonna be immune to his jackassery. He has a habit of following you around a lot and constantly trying to bug you and get your attention. Don't even get me started on his lies. At first you thought he was just wanting to be annoying (okay that's part of it), but actually he just really likes spending time with you. Being able to talk to you constantly and see your funny reactions gives him so much happiness. He'll deny how clingy he is and mock you for thinking so, but one time he followed you into the bathroom, so that speaks for itself

Korekiyo Shinguji - Physical Touch

Korekiyo is a... I'm just gonna say it, he's a kinky bastard. He finds humanity fascinating and wants to experience the wonders of existence, including the taboos. He is normally quite a smooth talker, and despite the messed up or concerning things he says, you still find yourself charmed. But the real affection comes from his touch. Instead of focusing on his personal troubles and trauma, he puts his efforts into supporting you and voicing his admirations. Pride for you is something he will bluntly show. When you attempt to talk to him and let him air his troubles, he'll insist he's fine. He'll still have a cool air to him, but deep down he really appreciates your concern. And honestly, he considers you a reason to live a little longer

Tenko Chabashira - Physical Touch

Tenko is aggressive with her affections (just ask Himiko) so when she crushes on you she is obvious and intense. She'll gush over you and shower you with praise as often as possible. So if you validate her and accept her feelings, she's gonna jump right into it. Expect a lot of hugs and snuggles quite openly. To the point of embarrassment sometimes. You are just so cute she can't help herself!! A favorite past time of her is to practice Akido with you. Tenko gets a lot of joy sharing her passion with you, and being able to toss you around is a bonus I'mma be blunt though. Tsumugi is a mastermind obsessed with the Danganronpa series in itself. Something about it is fascinating to her and brings her much amusement. And with you she instantly noticed that you fit the series perfectly. You fit her perfectly. She knew she had to get you, and luckily she did! While at first it was more of an entertainment thing, Tsumugi eventually found herself growing fond of you. She actually enjoyed going on dates with you, no ulterior motives anymore. To emphasize her newfound affection, she often liked to sew clothes for you! You can draw up a design for any outfit you want and she'll be able to make it a reality.
