it’s been a long and stressful morning for you. you woke up late, missed out on breakfast, can’t help but feel as you misplaced and lost a few school things, you feel on edge and it’s bothering you terribly this morning.

you sigh as you make it on time to herbology. you take your seat next to remus who gives you a soft smile. “rough morning?” he questions quietly, you shake your head hurriedly. not in the mood for speaking at the moment. remus hums in acknowledgement as he sets down something in front of you.

looking down you see your herbology book. you knew you forgot something, but you couldn’t figure out what on your way to class. you’re glad remus knew. you smile at the thought of remus thinking of you. “i knew i was forgetting something.” you mumble more to yourself than to remus, but he can’t help but laugh lightly. “you forgot it in the common room.” remus informs you.

you want to thank remus, but you don’t know how, you could always just politely say thank you. but you feel as if just a simple “thank you” is not enough for remus always helping you out and always being there for you.

“remus,” you mumble quietly, you try to put the words together so it sounds how you want to in your head, but you always struggle getting the words out. “i know.” he whispers, grabbing your hand and squeezing it tightly, as your teacher walks into the classroom.

“what was that kiss for?” you giggle, as your boyfriend grip on you tightens, and he starts to sway you both.

“just wanted to kiss you.” he says softly, moving his head from your neck, his lips landing on the apple of your cheek.

“you always want to kiss me.” you move your head back to look at peter with a bright smile. “of course i do.” he turns you around so you could face and see him fully. you give peter a warm smile and wrap your arms around his neck. he moves in to give you more kisses, you deserve all the kisses in the world from him, in his opinion. if he could kiss you all day he would, so he kisses you any chance he can.

“peter!” you shout, laughing at the pampering he’s giving you, you think your boyfriend is overly sweet, and you love it. you love peter.

he stops and pulls from your face. he has a cheeky smile and pulls you in, hugging you tighter than before. “you’re too sweet peter.” you tell him fondly. your hands going up to peters hair, playing with it softly, he loves when you play with his hair. it makes him melt.

“i’m too sweet?”

“yes, you practically spoil me.” you giggle out, your heart is all warm and you feel a little silly when your with peter. “well a sweet girl like you should be spoiled.” and he moves in to kiss you all over again.

you’re standing in a corner a few inches away from people. you’re currently at a party that your boyfriend begged you to come to. your boyfriend was very social, not as social as his best friends but people knew him. remus was kind ; people like him. you were different. you’re not social as remus, you have a small group of friends and you like it that way. where your boyfriend always has a smile on his face you mostly have a frown, except when you’re with remus.

“you came!” you hear your said boyfriend, remus cheer as he wraps his arms around your frame. you feel a small smile sneak onto your face as you wrap your arms around remus, hiding your face into his chest.

“i said i would.” you yell, over the loud music playing, remus moves closer to your face kissing your cheek. “i know, but i know you hate these things.” remus states, moving back from your cheek, pushing your hair out of your face, with a cheeky smile of course.

“i wanted to see you.” you shrug, grabbing remus hand. he continues to smile. you can’t help but smile back at him. “we’ll stay for an hour, then we can leave.” he promises, as he tugs on your hand to indicate to start walking along with him.

“look who showed up!” you hear sirius, his loud voice teasing you as he taps onto james shoulder, to grab his attention. “shut up, sirius,” you grumbled, you’re not sure if he can hear you but his playful eye roll gives you the idea that he did. “leave her alone, sirius.” you hear remus besides you, as he moves to lightly and jokingly shove sirius aside. “you look lovely.” you hear james compliment kindly from where he stands between sirius and peter. “doesn’t she?” remus yells, spinning you around, as he looks at you with fondness. “rem, stop.” you try to muster a smile, but you're slightly embarrassed, and out of your element.

“oh, someone’s embarrassed?” remus stops spinning you and hugs you from behind, not letting go. “shut up, i hate you.” you crank your neck, to glare at remus. he just smiles and shakes his head. he knows you don’t hate him. you don’t think you ever could. “no you don’t.” he smiles with his teeth, it’s sharp and crooked. you really couldn’t hate remus even if you tried.

a/n: i want to start off and say thank you for requesting and im so sorry i’m posting this late! but i hope you enjoy, this is my first time writing ploy! marauders so please be kind. also i’m not uncomfortable by you calling me sweetie!! :)

pairing: poly! marauders x slytherin! reader

having a crush on three out of the four marauders was just absolutely dense on your half. not only were you a close friend of theirs but james, sirius and remus were in a relationship together, joining in an already formed relationship seemed foolish to you. especially since they were so happy together. you gathered that james, remus and sirius just couldn’t see you in a romantic light.

so you decided to avoid them the best you could. and it wasn’t really that hard. considering you were a slytherin, you just hid in your dorm most of the time. other times where you would see the boys you would just ignore them. if they waved, smiled or even called out your name you would ignore them. and run in the other direction away from them.

“dove, you’re avoiding us.” you look up from the book you were reading and see remus, james and sirius standing in front of you in the library. you’re surprised they’re all in the library, especially james and sirius considering they hate to be quiet and being quiet is the mandatory rule in the library.

“i don’t know what you mean.” you mutter quietly, looking back to your book. avoiding their narrow eyes. “yes you do.” sirius, speaks sourly as you hear the chairs scraping against the floors. looking back up, you see sirius and remus have taken a seat across from you while james sits beside you with a strained smile. “no sirius, i don’t.” you snap back, closing your book. you start to gather your things ready to take your leave to avoid the boys once again.

“will you please just talk to us?” you turn to james, as you stand from your chair. his hair is a little messy from him running his fingers through it, his face looks more red than usual. he looks at you with an angry face. he’s angry with you. “we just want to know what we did.” he waves his hand around between him, sirius and remus. you look at each of the boys with anticipation. you finally let out a sigh and sit back down.

“are you going to talk to us now?” remus asks, he sounds and looks hopeful. you shake your head miserably. this will surely end your friendship with the boys. “well are you going to explain?” sirius ask,

“i’ve been avoiding you three because i want to be with you guys romantically.” you admit, with a gloomy tone. “oh.” they all speak at the same time. you start to tear up and wait for them to reject you. and then later on break up the friendship you guys had. “dove, what’s wrong?” you hear remus get up from his seat across from you and bend down beside you. “dove?”

“are you guys going to stop being friends with me?” you mumble out. closing you eyes. “no, why would we honey?” james ask, rubbing your back softly. “because you guys don’t feel the same.”

“we never said that.” you hear sirius speak, he standing beside remus, he’s not good with comforting but you hear the worry in his tone. you can see he’s trying his best. “what?” you look up from your lap. to look at sirius in disbelief. “we’ve never said that, love.” sirius tells you sweetly, as he moves to bend down with remus.

“we’ve all have actually liked you for a while now.” james admits. “we’ve been meaning to tell you, but you’ve been avoiding us.” remus explains. laughing a little at the situation you guys were in. “oh,” you utter dumbly to yourself. sirius laughs, you feel a little embarrassed but can’t help but smile at yourself.

i’m sorry.” you laugh out, still nervous and embarrassed for avoiding them. you feel slightly silly. “there's no need to apologize,” james rushes out, feeling bad at the thought that you needed to apologize to them. “but you could make it up by going on a date with us.” sirius smiles as he moves in to kiss your cheek.

“take me to dinner first, dove.” remus mutters, before laughing at his own joke. you roll your eyes and reach for the zipper, helping him out of his spider-man suit. you can’t help but gasp. remus has three long gashes. two on his chest and one on his stomach. you continue to look, jaw agape.

“do you like what you see?” he sounds out of breath and a little loopy, but you couldn’t help but blush. of course remus lupin is still flirty when he’s in a lot of pain. you close your mouth and glare at him while helping him into your bed, so you could help bandage him up. it’s mostly silent when you heal remus up except for the small hisses that comes from remus and your quick apologies after.

“do you want to stay the night?” you ask, looking up at remus while putting a bandage on his last scar. “jeez what is up with you trying to get into my pants?” he laughs out again. you push his shoulder lightly, his joke was cheesy like his other one but you didn’t have the heart to say anything.

“yeah, i want to stay the night.” he finally breathes out after laughing.

“i’ve never kissed anyone.” you tell him. you wait for him to laugh at you. he never does. “really?” he looks at you confused. and he is how a pretty girl like you, never experienced their first kiss yet.

“yes, it’s embarrassing, i know.” you laugh at yourself, to defuse the embarrassment you’re feeling right now. “it’s not embarrassing, i’m just confused.” you raise your eyebrows up at peter, you’re now feeling confused about his confusion. “why are you confused?”

“why has no one has kissed you yet.” he states simply moving closer to you. then you see something click in peters head, a mischievous smile appears on your boyfriend’s pretty face. “does that mean i’m going to be the first?” he asks confidently, with a smug face, while you smile clearly flustered. “yes.” you admit to your boyfriend. peter smiles and places his hands on your face. “can i kiss you?” he smiles, confident. you let out a small “yes” and he does.

you’re currently laughing as your gripping peters hand as you both walk on the side walk. peter loves the spring and summer. well, not really but he loves that you love the spring and summer. you thrive during the warmer seasons. in fact peter thinks you actually glow when the weather gets warmer.

you always seem to have a smile on your face, but it’s wider and brighter when you’re outside, hanging out with peter. he would like to think you’d agree with him on this. he would love to think he knows you as much as he knows himself.

“pete we should have a picnic!” you smile brightly, breaking peter out of his trance of you. he turns to you and smiles. “we definitely should, let’s go back to the apartment to grab some things.” you both head back to your shared apartment.

as soon as you walk into the apartment you zoom to your kitchen, peter watches as you quickly grab a chair just for you to climb on it to reach the top of your cabinets, where your picnic basket is located. grabbing the basket you climb down and put it on the counter.

“what should we pack?” you turn to peter, opening the basket. “sandwiches, fruit, chips and maybe some water bottles.” you nod as you move around your kitchen, peter joining you to help prepare the food.

you make sandwiches as peter helps cut up fruit and puts them into plastic containers, you both grab a couple small bags of chips and a couple of water bottles for yourselves. peter quickly puts everything into the basket and holds it for you as you both make it out of the apartment.

“could we go to a park?” you ask peter as you turn to look at him, with such a lovely smile. peter thinks he could faint if you smile at him like that again.

“we can go anywhere you want, sweetheart.” peter kisses your cheek, grabbing your hand in his free one, dragging you out the apartment building. he smiles to himself as he hears your lovely laugh.

So he collosed your books and wraps a blanket around you and help you fall asleep in th couch in the common room on his arms

“dove, what are you doing?” remus walks towards the couch in the center of the common room; voice still deep and raspy from waking up.

“studying for classes.” you look up from your books and notes, with a tired smile. even though remus can see you were clearly exhausted he couldn’t help but think you look awfully cute, a blanket around you to keep you warm and eyes a little droopy from no sleep. he couldn’t help but smile.

“can’t sleep, my head is aching.” you interrupt remus thoughts. looking back at your notes you were previously reading. “well that just won’t do.” remus takes the paper out of your hand and gathers your other notes and books together.

“remus, i need to study.” you scold your boyfriend, reaching for your notes. “you need to sleep, love. it’s three in the morning.” he shows you his wrist watch showing you the time.

“i know but-“ a yawn intrudes the last of your sentence, proving remus’ point: that you need to sleep. he raises his eyebrow questioning if you're going to keep arguing with him, you’re not. you’re too tired to argue with him on this. you let him stack your things together. when he’s finished he joins you on the couch, pulling you onto his lap. remus rearranges the blanket to cover the both of you. you move your head to the crook of his neck. “get some sleep dove, we have classes tomorrow.” remus whispers into your ear, moving his hand to rub against your back waiting for you to fall asleep. “thank you remus.” you hum into the crook of his neck before closing your eyes and getting some sleep.

“remus!” you squeal out of fear, trying to grab for your boyfriend as you’re about to fall on the ice rink “hold on!” remus screams, his hand reaches out for you, and tries to pull you up but it's no use. you and remus fall.

you can’t help but laugh as remus moans out in pain, his hand rubbing the back of his head as you both sit up. “i told you this was a bad idea!” you tease remus, trying to stand back up. “well to be fair i thought ice skating would be easier!”

“well you were clearly wrong.” you finally stand on your own and help remus stand as well. you and remus knew nothing about ice skating. but remus was determined to learn. claiming it couldn’t be that hard. he was clearly wrong. you’ve both fallen plenty of times while trying to learn how to ice skate on your own.

standing in the middle of the rink you and remus both watch as a little girl glides gracefully and does an amazing spin. you look up to your boyfriend who glares at the little girl.

“a little girl is better at skating than me?!” remus grumbles, turning to you with a small pout on his lips. “jealous remus?” you can’t help but laugh that your boyfriend is jealous of a little girl's skating skills.

“extremely.” he folds his arms, continuing his obvious fake tantrum.

“awe poor baby” you pout in fake sympathy for your boyfriend.

“i’m trying again!” ignoring your mock sympathy remus pushes off and makes a fool out of himself again by falling instantly. you giggle as you skate over to help him up once again.

“i think that’s enough skating, love.” you suggest, helping remus up by grabbing his arms. “i think you’re right.” he laughs as he stands, grabbing your hand and trying to lead you both safely to the exit of the ice rink.

“you have to believe me i wouldn’t do this!” you hear the familiar voice of your boyfriend, sirius black. as you arrive at the potter's home. you turn and see aurors you vaguely recognize holding sirius.

“hey, let him go!” you yell out as you walk hurriedly to your boyfriend. sirius turns to the sound of your voice. he yells out your name as an old auror who you worked with turns to you. “we can’t.” the older man states rudely, tightening his grasp on sirius.

“and why not? he hasn’t done anything.” you yell at the older auror, he gives you a glare opening his mouth to argue but quickly closing it. “miss y/n.” you turn back to the calm voice of an old wizard. “dumbledore! why are they holding sirius?” you point over to your boyfriend who is still being held. “sirius was the potters secret keeper, sirius betrayed lily and james.” you laugh in disbelief. sirius was one of the most loyal people to you but mostly to james potter. “but sirius wouldn’t!” you yell out as you hear sirius cry out your name pleading for you to listen to him, and that he wouldn’t betray james and lily as an auror takes him away from you.

“but who else could do it? only sirius knew where lily and james lived.” dumbledore tells you as you watch sirius being taken away with tears in your eyes. what dumbledore told you was true. sirius was lily and james secret keeper. sirius trusted no one during the war, not even you. he wouldn’t say anything about where james, lily and harry were located. you stayed silent and look over to dumbledore as the thought of sirius betraying the potters sink in. sirius betrayed you and your friends.

“i’m sorry miss y/n.” dumbledore broke the silence, with a sigh. turning away to walk away. “where’s harry?” you asked, wanting to see your godson. “with his aunt, petunia.” dumbledore stated, turning back to face you. “why?” you asked outrageous. you or sirius were supposed to to take care of harry if anything happened to lily and james, not petunia.

“it’s better if he’s not surrounded by magic miss y/n, i’m sorry.” and then he leaves before you can argue with him on the matter. you sigh defeated, you won’t argue with the old wizard. he won’t change his mind on this. you look around and know you are truly alone. your boyfriend has been taken away to azkaban for betraying you and your friends. and you can’t raise harry. you’re alone. you sighed and headed for home. you had to make a sad phone call to your friend remus.
