Today, I wanted to share with you how to make your own magical infused oils. Not only are they fun to make, but they can also add a touch of magic to your rituals and spells.
Ingredients:
A glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Carrier oil (such as olive oil, coconut oil, or almond oil).
Your preferred magical herbs, flowers, or crystals.
A small funnel.
Magical Properties:
Carrier oils: these represent the element of earth and can be used to ground and stabilize energy.
Herbs and flowers: these have a wide range of magical properties depending on the type and can be used for various spells and rituals.
Crystals: these can enhance the energy of the oil and be used for specific intentions.
Here are some magical herbs, flowers, and crystals you can use:
Cleanse your glass jar and funnel with salt water or a cleansing herb like sage or palo santo.
Fill your jar about 3/4 of the way with your carrier oil.
Add your chosen herbs, flowers, or crystals to the jar using the small funnel. You can use one type of herb or a combination of several.
Once you've added all of your ingredients, seal the jar tightly and give it a good shake to mix everything together.
Place the jar in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks to allow the magic to infuse into the oil.
After 1-2 weeks, strain the oil through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer into a clean jar or bottle. Your magical infused oil is now ready to use!
I love using these oils for anointing candles, adding to bathwater, and even using in my skincare routine. The possibilities are endless 🥰✨

Today I made a simmer pot and I thought I’d share the recipe ❤️
• Charged water is always ideal for simmer pots but I forgot to make moon water last night, so I used tap water.
• Crushed Eggshells - purification, cleansing (I use this in lieu of salt so I can pour the cooled remnants of my simmer pots in my garden)
• Black pepper - Banishing negativity
• Dried Azalea - The sweet strawberry-ish scent reminds me of happiness, sweetness, love. (Note: Azalea is mildly poisonous so do not ingest. The only reason I even have it is because of the huge bush in my front yard)
• Crushed mint - clarity, cool temperaments, happiness
• Dried Cranberries - love, an offering to Persephone, also I just like the smell
• Honey - extra sweetness to our words and dispositions
• Rose petals - love, harmony, passion
• Rosemary - healing, harmony, clarity
Just mix together and simmer as long as you like! I simmer my pots nearly all day and add water as needed ☺️ I highly recommend designating a pot to use purely for simmering and non-edible kitchen magic, so you don’t have to worry about the toxicity of the ingredients you use, especially essential oils.

Romantic Valentine's Day Dinner - Grilled Filet Mignon with Red Wine Reduction
Ingredients:
2 filet mignon steaks (6-8 ounces each)
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 cup red wine (such as Cabernet Sauvignon)
1/2 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions:
Step 1: Preparing the Filet Mignon
Remove the filet mignon steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
Step 2: Preparing the Grill
Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F to 500°F).
Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Grilling the Filet Mignon
Drizzle the filet mignon steaks with olive oil.
Place the steaks on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes while you prepare the red wine reduction.
Step 4: Making the Red Wine Reduction
In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped shallot to the pan and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the red wine and beef broth, stirring to combine.
